Leading up to the wedding, Ale was so responsive and coordinated with our planner so effectively to make sure our timeline was perfect and seamless. Some of my favorite photos are the candids of our guests at the cocktail hour, Ale really captured the beauty in our friends and family and you can feel the happiness and love from the photos. Ale not only captured our wedding day perfectly, but she also made us and our guests feel so comfortable. She edits the photos just enough to make you look and feel your best in the photos but doesn't over due, still keeping the authenticity of the subjects. . Then she drove a few hours to meet us at a Conservatory in our hometown for our engagement shoot, and finally joined us in New Jersey for our wedding. And while this seems like a straightforward timeline of events, unfortunately our wedding was interrupted by the COVID pandemic so, Ale has been working with us since Dec 2018!! Even with all our frantic “we have to postpone again” emails and tons of back and forth communication, we always felt taken care of with Ale. She is a really, really talented photographer but she is also so sweet and fun to work with! We’re so lucky that she will now forever be part of our wedding story.

ecide whether or not I wanted maternity photos done, I was really leaning towards no. However, her portfolio was so natural looking, and seemed to really chase the joy of the moment for all of her clients. I am so thankful that I did this, especially with her. Ale was so sweet, and had such a great personality that it was easy to relax and just enjoy the moment. Not only did she make me feel beautiful (at 8 months pregnant, a difficult feat) …by being such an awesome coach during our session, but she captured my joy so organically and it came through in the final photos. I was also endlessly grateful that she was more than willing to help me pick out my outfit for the session. She had the best insight into what would be most flattering and compliment the lighting. She made the entire experience fun. Plus, how amazing is it that she is willing to travel for a maternity shoot?! If you want someone that is going to give you raw beauty, and really capture the emotions of the moment…you need to go with her. When I got my session back I was so thankful to this woman who was able to capture my joy in such a simple, beautiful way. I cried a lot and not because of hormones. Now I have something so special to show my daughter when she grows up!

To start, she did an amazing job communicating ahead of time and scouting out great locations for our portraits (we took pictures in 3 different locations the day of) - especially considering we had to take the weather into account since it was a January wedding. As for the photography, all of our portraits are gorgeous - she perfectly captured the look and feel we were going for - and everyone loved the candid photos of the reception, too. We ended up with great photos of so many of our guests, which is great to have for remembering the day. Looking back the only change would probably have been to extend another hour since we opted not to have a videographer and these are our only tangible memories of the night (especially since the reception photos are some of our favorites). I also can't get over how great she was at coaching us through poses that, even though they felt like they would be awkward, resulted in fantastic photos. Everyone who sees our pictures is floored by how outstanding they are and we love showing them off whenever we can. We definitely have plenty (too many, probably) pictures that we'll be able to use for our big day.

That confidence definitely showed through in the pictures, because the end result was not only beautiful, but something I was so excited to show my future husband.
