Alévri & Co. is a fine art wedding cake bakery in the Tampa Bay, FL, area. Artist Dawn Konofaos is a self-described nerd for baking with a degree in fashion design. The former milliner (hat maker) went from making bridal veils to wedding cakes with ease. It is her career in fashion that gives her the edge, creating designs for cake much like she would a garment. Dawn is also known for her way with flavors. If you are ever around and there's a chance to try her cakes, you should seriously consider not missing out. She often finds inspiration from music, memories, and literature. For weddings, she prefers to collaborate with clients to create a custom flavor for their big day. However, there is a menu available if inspiration is needed. All of Alévri & Co.'s bakes are 100% delicious and happen to be vegan. For more details about ingredients, please send an email regarding your concerns. Currently, there is one gluten-free option available for cake. Cake tasting & consultation: Now in-person, clients can try four preselected flavors while we chat about design and wedding day details. Design: A wedding cake design is created and shared on a mood board. Clients can then add notes, ask questions, request revisions, and approve design all in one space. Wedding day cake delivery & set up: I will always recommend delivery for wedding cakes because it's insurance of your cake's safe arrival. If something should happen during delivery and/or set up, you want your cake designer to be there to address the issue. It's just one less thing you have to worry about for your big day.
