Alex & DJ Yakov are the best! They were extremely communicative and put us at ease. DJ Yakov kept everyone on the dance floor all night - with our friends & family still raving about how great the music was. We loved them so much my sister is using them for her wedding too!

Alex was one of the highlights of my wedding! My husband and I hired Alex as the DJ for our wedding and after party in Brooklyn and were continuously impressed by his knowledge, professionalism, and demeanor. First, Alex worked with us to plan music for every part of the ceremony - from when the guests started to arrive to the songs for our after party. Alex has a lot of experience with weddings so he had a lot of great recommendations on timing and songs. Second, the saxophone player that played with Alex ensured that everyone was on the dance floor all night. Alex offers the option to hire live musicians as he DJs, and we hired a saxophone player. Everyone LOVED the sax player - all of our photos have our guests dancing and singing as the sax plays. Finally, Alex really knows what he’s doing - his song selection and mixes were top notch. Multiple guests complimented our playlist and the music. We gave Alex a few songs that we liked, the age of the guests, and our musical preferences. He played great songs all night. Even more so, Alex was patient and kind - ensuring that we had the best time. He even played at our after party, which required his assistant to set up at a separate venue while he continued to play at the wedding. I highly highly recommend Alex for any event!

Alex & band were exceptional for our wedding for MC, DJ & live music. Music was extremely important for my husband, so selecting this vendor was a big decision for us. We found Alex because he was one of the approved vendors for our venue, and it's no surprise given his high level of professionalism and the unparalleled fun vibes & energy that he and the group brought to our wedding. He also arranged for us to have live musicians (bossa nova jazz band for happy hour and sax & drums for the reception), and it was amazing. We had never seen people dance harder! Going with Alex made the entire planning process a breeze for us, and we would recommend him to everyone. We thought his prices were extremely reasonable based on the offering and comparing with other vendors that we spoke with.

I don't have enough words to express how amazing Alex and his team were at my wedding on 08/25/24. We hired him along with a saxophonist, percussionist, violinist, and cellist. He absolutely nailed the music. My husband and I wanted a wedding where our guests partied all night, and Alex made our vision come true. I was anxious about the music since we needed to fuse different cultures together, but Alex exceeded all expectations. He successfully integrated Persian, Russian, Hebrew, and English music. He had guests on the dance floor all night. During the planning process, he was responsive, kind, and always happy to accommodate requests. Everyone was literally amazed by how great the music was. One guest even came up to us at the wedding and said, "I feel like I am at Brooklyn Mirage," which was exactly the vibe I was aiming for. The next day, messages were pouring in, raving about the music. Seriously, don't think twice—hire Alex and his team. He will amaze you.

Alex deserves 10 stars! Alex and his team were such a pleasure to work with and really made our night unforgettable! We decided on a string quartet, Alex (dj)+ sax + percussion. Our guests are STILL talking about our wedding music! My goal was to dance all night, and that’s exactly what Alex had us doing! He was also super helpful and honest about sound equipment and song recommendations to ensure our night was perfect. Alex even helped us create a unique first dance song! I cannot recommend Alex enough!!

My Wife Michelle and I got married in November 2023 and had the absolute best and most fun experience with Alex and co, not only for the wedding day, but for the process and preparation leading up to our big day. Alex was extremely forthcoming, prepared and transparent with us, always willing to meet, set the expectations and provide recommendations for us which included song choices, set up, our MC, and our violinist. Alex was able to work with us to ensure the smoothest and most stress free process of entertainment for our wedding day-which was one of our biggest concerns for that day. He was able to seamlessly blend music and dancing from two different cultures to ensure both sides were represented and on the dance floor. He worked well with our MC, Irina, who brought the energy and adjusted to the vibe of our guests in order to ensure they were involved and contributing to the fun of the night. Another highlight of the wonderful staff was Yelena ,our violinist, who complimented the music from Alex extremely well, provided more ambiance, beauty, fun and elegance than we could have ever imagined. To top off the night, Alex was able to DJ our afterparty and turned up the heat with the best throwbacks and mixes to make the nightcap special just for us. My advice to everyone pondering entertainment options is to absolutely invest in someone who will listen to you, adjust to the population present, and contribute to creating the most memorable moments to take home with you forever. That is what Alex and his staff did for us and we are forever grateful.

Hiring Alex Edge was one of the easiest (and best) decisions for our son's wedding day! He is an amazing dj and an absolute pleasure to work with! He put together an incredible team of entertainers (singers and musicians) that kept the party going all night long and exceeded ALL of our expexpectations! He is truly a class act!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Alex Edge was the heart and soul of this wedding. They kept the music pumping and the dance floor sooo full that the guests did not want to leave and we had to extend the party by TWO hours!!!  They were absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!

Alex and team are the best of the best. From our first call, he was extremely friendly and approachable and we felt reassured that he’d be able to run the show. He figured out our music tastes perfectly just through our quick chat and his questionnaire. On the day of, we couldn’t help but bop along to his songs from start to end. He constantly had one ear scanning the crowd and adjusting when needed. From the wedding ceremony, where he picked tasteful songs that fit the moment, to the reception, where he amped up the mood for the guests, everything was absolutely perfect and we would rebook him again in an instant. 1000% recommend!!! You won’t regret it.

We're so glad Alex just happened to be on our venue's preferred vendor list (and rightfully so). He was pleasant to work with and super responsive. He nailed the musical direction at cocktail hour, dinner, and dance. Everyone had a blast! Very professional and dresses sharp for the occasion (Armando and I both LOVED your suit, Alex). Five stars all around.

Alex and his crew were phenomenal! We kept getting compliments on the DJ all night. Following up to the wedding Alex was organized and asked all the right questions to help us make the night come together. They really brought the party; the saxophonist and percussionist were out there dancing with us and keeping the energy alive all night! Couldn’t recommended Alex Edge enough, processional and FUN!!

Alex Edge & his team did a phenomenal job at our wedding in May 2023. All we can say is WOW! We still have guests raving about the entertainment over a month after our wedding. Alex kept the party going from the beginning to end and we would highly recommend him and his team to anyone!! Throughout the entire planning process, Alex was always available to chat and provided valuable recommendations and guidance, which we are extremely grateful for. DJ Alex Edge and his team were amazing! They were easy to work with and were extremely helpful throughout the planning process. Alex is clearly dedicated to what he does. Our wedding ended up being the same day as the Five Boro Bike Tour, and Alex, not wanting to take any chances, made plans to stay near our venue the night before. We were touched by that. The wedding day execution was flawless. His team arrived early to set up and provided nonstop entertainment. Their sparktaculars made the atmosphere even more fun. We got a lot of compliments from our American friends on the music, and our families were happy with the Russian music. Our guests also loved the saxophone player Alex, who was terrific at jumping in to songs and rocking out along to them and made the dance floor vibe that much more awesome. Our MC Michael did a wonderful job in both Russian and English and kept the crowd going. Overall, we were very happy and highly recommend DJ Edge and his team.

Alex was the best DJ I could have ever imagined! He was so professional throughout the whole planning process, and was extremely easy to communicate with. He tailored the whole experience to us as a couple. He also provided us a contact with a saxophone player, a percussionist, and a photo booth. He ALSO worked with separate performers we hired to entertain our guests, AND coordinated our first dance with us. Every single guest at our wedding came up to us afterwards to compliment the music and the atmosphere we had, all thanks to Alex.

Having Alex and his team work the entertainment for our wedding was probably the best and easiest decision. He always had positive attitude and made the planning process so simple. When we weren’t sure about something, he always had a game plan ready for us. During reception, his music was ON POINT. Stella made sure everyone was having a good time. To this day, everyone from our wedding is still talking about the entertainment! Can’t wait to be in one of his parties again.

THE BEST EVER! We're so picky about our music and Alex blew us away. He met with us in advance, listened to our requests and concerns and delivered on our wedding! The entire wedding danced the whole night. The vibe from beginning to end was perfect and he kept the timing of our events moving seamlessly. All of our guests have commented on our DJ and how it was the most fun wedding ever. Thanks Alex!

Alex was the most easiest, efficient and pleasant vendor to work with! He answered all of my questions, was available for all appointments even after we postponed two of them! Everything we discussed came to life and absolutely amazingly! Everyone loved the music so much they mentioned to me it was one of their most fun wedding. Edge's MC Irina was absolutely fantastic, everyone loved her! They both kept our party going and alive and that was so great!!! I barely had to worry with Alex at all, he is such a hard worker.

I found Alex and Irina through a mutual friend and through some other friends’ weddings that they’ve worked at and I am so happy I did. They were absolutely wonderful and did such a great job keeping everyone dancing and laughing all night during our wedding. My husband and I initially had some concerns about music for a Ukrainian/American wedding because we didn’t know how we’d be able to keep everyone happy and we really didn’t want a Ukrainian/Russian-type wedding. My husband is also a musician, so for him, music was the most important thing. Alex was an absolute pro, though, and knew exactly what to play. All of our guests were so happy with our music and so were we! We trusted him with everything and only gave him a list of about 10 songs we liked, just as suggestions, and just let him do what he does best. He ended up playing mostly American music and one Russian song and Irina did a wonderful job getting everyone at the party involved and dancing to it! It worked out great! She also led a dancing contest that was so funny, everyone’s jaws hurt from laughing. The night really could not have gone any better, it was so much fun. They really made our party. They are both the sweetest people, too. So friendly and great to be around. They coordinated with our string quartet for the ceremony and cocktail hour. I communicated with Alex during planning and he was extremely responsive to emails. I didn’t have to worry about anything. It was the best night of our lives and we thank Alex and Irina wholeheartedly for their hard work in making this possible!
