ily enjoying the day. We got married in January but wanted outdoor photos, so he helped convince our large wedding parties that it would be worth it, and it definitely was! My husband and I took so much joy in going back through the day and seeing moments that we were not around for or had forgotten. We loved that he took both digital photos and film photos. Some of his film photos were our absolute favorites! I am so glad that a friend recommended his photography and I will absolutely recommend him to any of my friends as well.

Our family and friends raved about how wonderful Alex was to be around, but also how he was able to blend into the scene of the wedding and be unseen to capture the most intimate moments. 3. Alex has experience that made me confident in his recommendations and decisions. When the weather turned into sleet on our wedding day and we had to switch our wedding party photo location, I trusted his judgement to allow us to get gorgeous photos and stay on schedule. He captured all of the moments we wanted and so much more, but I never felt rushed by him - he calmly made the whole day work. All-in-all, we cannot recommend Alex enough. He is a true pleasure and one-of-a-kind talent that captured our wedding day perfectly.

He posted some on instagram the week after the wedding and had the complete online album up and accessible in almost exactly a month! I have heard of wedding photographers taking as much as three months to get the photos out, but despite the fact that he was shooting a wedding every week after my wedding he kept me updated on my photos. I highly recommend Alex, he was perfect.

pecial requests you might have. We really wanted photos in a wildlife area, and he was game to get attacked by mosquitoes to get our perfect sunset shot! I also love the vignette shots of details like jewelry, something borrowed/something blue, etc. He captured many special moments during our getting ready time, and even our more staged photos with family look natural. I especially like that we own the rights to our photos and can have them printed however we want--that flexibility is important to me so we could always use the photos how we want to.

He's great at communication and planning ahead, which made our wedding photography easily the least stressful part of our wedding and planning; the entire time we trusted he was very reliable, which is exactly something we wanted in our photographer. Our guests afterwards commented on how they didn't even notice him throughout the ceremony or reception, which is quite the compliment to him on how he was able to observe and capture the day without disrupting or drawing focus. His manner as a wedding photographer is perfect. Perhaps most importantly, the photos are INCREDIBLE. We are constantly being told that we look like our photos should be in wedding magazines, which I attest to his skill at using lighting beautifully, framing photos well, and capturing those perfect moments. In addition to all the "standard" wedding shots, his portraits and capturing of emotions are incredible. I've marked over 400 of the photos as favorites -- I love love love them! It's clear he loves his art and he puts in the extra effort to do an amazing job. Finally, photo time with Alex and my hubby was easily one of my favorite parts of the day, no exaggeration. Alex was so easy to be around, and so I felt like got to focus on some quality time with my sweetie, which was hard to get on such a busy day! Alex could not have been a better choice, and we highly recommend him to any and all!

Our reception was running late and Alex as very flexible to take photos and make sure we also got all the shots we wanted at the reception. He did a great job making us feel comfortable. His photos turn out great and he did an amazing job getting pictures of things that we didn't even know we wanted.
