It was so helpful and such a relief to have that support in the chaos of planning. Everything leading up to the wedding that Alex was involved in or helped with made me feel so much better and less stressed! We had around 100 people at our wedding and almost everyone commented on the fact that for being just one person, Alex was everywhere all at once. thing we needed, he was prompt and followed direction, but also gave opinions and pushed the timeline forward effortlessly. Alex was loud and in charge when needed and like a ghost when appropriate - to be transparent, we didn't even notice Alex at our ceremony until we got our photos back and it felt like he had captured every single emotion, and every single moment. Alex was kind and considerate during emotional family moments, and we didn't have to tell him which moments were significant. The groom's father has a degenerative condition, and this is his first son to be married, so we wanted as many beautiful pictures of him as possible, and Alex was able to capture candids and staged photography of him that made us so overwhelmed with emotion. Both Alex and his second photographer were top-tier professionals the entire wedding day, and we're still getting comments from aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends about how great our photographers were, how easy they were to work with, and how happy they were to have their photo taken. We received engagement and wedding albums full of beautiful pictures, and truly do not know how we're going to be able to select only a few to frame. It was very important to us that we hired a photographer who would capture true, vibrant color (saturated greens, reds, and oranges since we had a fall wedding), and who would ensure that pictures were taken of our family and friends. Alex knocked it out of the park on all accounts. They came to the bridal suite where we got ready and grabbed some awesome candids as well as some beautiful staged pictures of my dress and rings. He was great at capturing special moments but also making us laugh or smile when it counted. He also was very good at making sure the special moments would turn out. For example, during the ceremony my husband was standing directly under one of the lights which wouldn't have looked good in pictures and he very quickly and professionally paused the ceremony to have my husband move. It meant a lot that he is that dedicated to making sure our moments were all captured. We also had an extremely cold and windy November wedding. But he was great at getting enough pictures but not making us freeze outside. There was one moment where my shawl blew down by the river and Alex ran down to save it. My husbands family has a picture tradition and Alex made sure to deliver. The pictures are beautiful, but really working with Alex and Aaron was a pleasure. I'd recommend Alex to anyone. ugh he had never been there before, he quickly found beautiful spots. My fiance and I don't love getting our pictures taken, but Alex did a great job of making us feel comfortable and capturing our love for each other. Alex also did our wedding photos this summer. He was very accommodating when we had to move the date due to Covid, and he captured the intimacy of our small wedding perfectly. We are going to have him shoot our big wedding celebration next year and can't wait to work with him again! He has also returned our finished photos really quickly, which is an added bonus to working with Alex!

We got married in January but wanted outdoor photos, so he helped convince our large wedding parties that it would be worth it, and it definitely was! My husband and I took so much joy in going back through the day and seeing moments that we were not around for or had forgotten. We loved that he took both digital photos and film photos. antly, the photographs are stunning! Alex is able to capture the special moments of emotion whether in the warm light of a church or outside while it's overcast and snowing. I am obsessed with our photos and our family and friends are raving about them too. 2. Alex's photographer manner is perfect. He is calm, encouraging, fun, and has the ability to give direction to large groups (family, wedding party of 20+ people) without seeming bossy or asking for too much attention. Our family and friends raved about how wonderful Alex was to be around, but also how he was able to blend into the scene of the wedding and be unseen to capture the most intimate moments. 3. Alex has experience that made me confident in his recommendations and decisions. When the weather turned into sleet on our wedding day and we had to switch our wedding party photo location, I trusted his judgement to allow us to get gorgeous photos and stay on schedule. He captured all of the moments we wanted and so much more, but I never felt rushed by him - he calmly made the whole day work. All-in-all, we cannot recommend Alex enough. He is a true pleasure and one-of-a-kind talent that captured our wedding day perfectly.
