Mr. Mazur was wonderful patient and amazingly supportive while choosing ceremony and reception music. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our big day!

Alex is the preferred DJ at our venue, Mohonk Mountain House and he was fantastic. We are pretty picky about music (and I'm just a general control freak who would have wanted to personally oversee every single detail of the wedding, but graciously relinquished control to the professionals so I could enjoy our day, lol), and he was so accommodating with playing the songs we loved. He helped to encourage guests to get on the dance floor and the party didn't stop the entire night. He provided microphones for our speeches and everything sounded great! He is also a kind and sweet person -- so easy to work with and understood our needs perfectly. I would absolutely recommend working with him for your event or wedding! We had a blast!

Alex is such a kind and helpful person. He was so easy to work with throughout the planning process. He is a remarkable piano player and the beautiful piano song he played while I walked down the aisle (Here Comes the Sun) is a poignant moment of the day. His piano playing during cocktail hour was enjoyable and such a sweet and romantic touch to cocktail hour. He allowed us to choose most of our songs during our reception and did a good job of gaging the crowd and playing the right songs! We got married at Mohonk Mountain House and we were happy to have a DJ/musician who was familiar with the venue and the logistics for setting up the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in 3 different portions of the venue. We recommend Alex!

Alex is an amazing professional. He provided piano music and DJ services for our wedding at Mohonk Mountain House on August 20, 2017. He was great during the planning process, and helped us to figure out what we needed and wanted. We decided on a "different" bride processional, and Alex was happy to go along with it. Before that, he played piano as our guests were being seated for the ceremony, then played piano during the cocktail hour. During the reception, he was very intuitive and had everyone dancing all night!

Alex was DJ for our wedding reception at Mohonk Mountain House on 6/16. He was super helpful in the planning process: He helped us figure out our run of show and was very flexible. We were very particular about the songs we wanted to hear, and he was happy to provide feedback and suggestions. He kept the energy up and the dance party going!

Our wedding was September 1, 2013 in Germantown, NY. The most important thing for us when looking for a DJ was to find someone who could play the music we liked without being too intrusive about it. We also wanted someone familiar with our outdoor site as all the equipment had to be brought in. Alex was all we were looking for and more. In addition to being a DJ, he plays piano. We had him play piano for the cocktail hour and music for dinner and dancing. He played just what we were looking for and worked well with all the other vendors to make the necessary announcements. Even more amazingly, we live a considerable distance away from our venue and we were able to plan everything with Alex over only several emails and two phone calls. To top it off he charges less than the other DJs I spoke with in the area.

We used Alex for our ceremony and cocktail hour on the keys, and then as a DJ for the reception and after party. He was very helpful to us with picking formal dance songs, and ceremony music and provided microphones for our ceremony. He's really easy going but also professional in that he knows how to make things flow really well (especially at our venue, where there was a lot of moving around) and get people dancing! He also has very reasonable prices, and we highly recommend him!

Alex was the DJ for our wedding at the Kaaterskill Farm in Catskill NY. We told him what we wanted - basically someone to play good music and pretty much stay in the background - and he did a great job with that. We all worked closely on the music selections, and he had some great ideas that kept folks of all ages dancing throughout the night. Plus, he brought his keyboard and played ceremony music for us! Highly recommended.

Alex played a medley of songs that he crafted based on a list we gave him for the processional. He did a great job and excellent sound system for an outdoor event. His DJing was great as well. He helped us with our playlist and we got lots of compliments. He also did not take his break during dinner (or at all), but instead stayed to help sound manage a concert performed by our guests. Very attentive and talented.

I don't have a bad thing to say about Alex Mazur. He was easy and fun to work with. He played a great sample of music, everything was at an appropriate volume, and he choose the tunes that got people out on the dancefloor. In addition, he put together an acoustic version of Don't Stop Believing for my processional! He outfitted our officiant with a mike, and did all of this for $1,400. If I ever plan another event, I am hiring Alex again. Absolutely superb and a great guy.

Alex was perfect! He was easy to work with. He can either coordinate the whole process or work with your specific ideas and tastes. He made the reception flow easily!!
