Alex and his team are a 10 out of 10. I wish we could give more than 5 stars. Not only is he super talented at what he does, but he’s also an awesome hype-man. He gets you so excited and makes you feel so special on your day, at one point he was even doing the can-can with our bridesmaids. Everyone loved him! His photos are absolutely stunning and you can see his talent within the first shot. We were lucky enough to use Alex for both our engagement and wedding photos and they captured every emotion and moment we were hoping for. Thank you Alex and team for all you did to make us feel apart of your photo-family. It was an amazing time and you helped us capture memories that will last a lifetime.

5 stars all around!!! We REALLY wanted Alex to be our photographer for our wedding next fall but came to find out he was already booked- total heartbreak!!! We did an engagement shoot (which we had to reschedule multiple times due to unforeseen circumstances on our end), and he was so flexible and communicative to get us rescheduled! We ended up having so much fun together! It was a relaxed/casual shoot at Chataqua park in Boulder. He truly captured our love and goofiness perfectly. Both of us felt so comfortable during the entire session. I highly recommend Alex for any of your photography needs!!

It's hard to put into words how amazing Alex is. Our wedding day was our third opportunity to work with Alex. He did our engagement photos and was also the photographer for a friend's wedding that we were in. We think it was definitely fate that Alex moved from Philly to Colorado around the same time we did. We can;t imagine having anyone else photograph our wedding. Alex makes you feel like you're not in front of a camera; nothing feels posed or boring. He really has a special way of making you feel totally comfortable. From consultation to booking to the big day and to the photo reveal, Alex treats you like you're his only client. Every interaction with him is truly awesome. Our friends and family at the wedding absolutely loved Alex. They said he made them feel at ease, especially with the friends/family group shots. No one felt that the photographer was "in the way," in fact they were grateul that they could grab Alex and ask him to take specifc photos. We are beyond thrilled with all of our wedding photos. There were so many unique shots that we haven't seen from other photographers. Being able to do the big photo reveal a little over a month after the wedding was an incredible way to relive the day. We would hire Alex again in a heartbeat, and we're so glad to be able to call him a friend.

Run, don’t walk! Hiring Alex to photograph our wedding was the best thing we could have done! Alex was such a joy to work with in the planning process up to the wedding. He listened to any questions I had and was able to accommodate any special requests that came in. Alex was friendly to everyone he spoke with during the wedding and brought such fun energy to the night! I would definitely refer Alex to anyone looking for a photographer- he did both our engagement photos and wedding and I couldn’t love the photos more. Alex is truly the best photographer ever!!!! We could not imagine going through our wedding with anyone else. He is so incredibly talented! All of our photos are absolutely stunning! They are truly works of art and captured our love beautifully. Everyone at our wedding loved Alex and he vibed so well with everyone. He made our day so amazing and special. He was so supportive, genuine, and helpful. He got us water and tissues, always asked us how we were feeling, and truly showed up for us in every way. Working with Alex was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, we cannot say more great things about him! From the very moment we contacted Alex he got back to us within a day and sent a personalized video (and not a canned response like many vendors do), we scheduled a call with him within a few days and within a week or so we were under contract so it was a very quick and effortless process which we really appreciated as our experience had been more drawn out with different services/vendors. Alex also took the time to get to know us and our needs and was willing to work with us on the type of photography package that we needed which we really appreciated as other vendors immediately tried to sell us on their higher end package. Not only is Alex very personable and has a great attitude, he is SO organized and attentive and even though we didn't have to do much until our engagement shoot he would check in with us periodically to see if we needed assistance or recommendations for other wedding services. Upon booking with him he also sent us a timeline and wedding resource guide that was very helpful and kept us on track with planning until we began working with our wedding planner six months before the wedding. Alex's photography style is beautiful!! We are not the most photogenic people or comfortable in front of a camera but somehow Alex made us look amazing and made us feel more comfortable being in front of the camera. A couple days after our wedding he followed up with us and gave us a little sneak peek of the wedding day photos and we both instantly got emotional looking through the few photos, they were absolutely beautiful!! We cannot wait to see the rest of the photos, we will both likely be in tears reliving the beautiful day and seeing it all captured through Alex's photography. If you are looking to work with someone who not only is a professional and expert at what they do but also an all around great person, dont hesitate to work with Alex! He was so wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend him to any loved one who is on their way to get married. He made sure to take care of our photography needs and worked with our different vendors behind the scenes to make sure the day ran seamlessly and that everything we wanted to have captured indeed was. An added bonus was that several of our guests even complimented how wonderful he is and how he made them feel comfortable while taking photos throughout the day. I found Alex online because he was listed as a Philadelphia Photographer. He has since moved to Colorado and is doing beautiful work out there but I decided to reach out to him because he had already photographed at my wedding venue, Terrain at Styers and I figured that would be convenient to have someone who already knew the area. Contacting Alex was one of the best decisions I made during the ENTIRE wedding process. He quickly got in touch with me and sent me a nice video message introducing himself, it was so kind and helped reduce the nerves around meeting someone new. Once we had a chance to chat and found common ground over our love for hiking and being in the mountains I knew he was the perfect choice. Not only was he focused on getting to know us as people and our love story to the fullest but wanted to make sure he understood what WE wanted from the day. I stopped looking for photographers after that because I was already sold on him, didn't matter what the cost was. Thankfully his prices were reasonable and he worked with us to mold a package that worked for us. For our engagement shoot, we decided to fly out to Colorado to meet up with him and did hours of photos up in the mountains. Alex was constantly finding inspiration for new shots or lighting and he made two very camera shy people feel good being photographed. We even took some stellar photos standing on top of a dumpster, a dumpster!!! It was a really awesome experience getting to hangout with him and he even brought us coffee on the early morning when we did sunrise photos. That just goes to show how selfless and kind he is! And he's just fun to hangout with, spending 2 days with him in Colorado was so fun, we laughed a ton and it didn't feel like we were posing at all. In the months leading up to the wedding he would reach out occasionally, offering help and guidance if we needed it. He sent over resources that were beyond helpful and helped me put a timeline together of the whole day. I never expected that our photographer would be as helpful in the planning of the wedding as Alex was for us. Finally, when we got to the day of our wedding Alex was a calm presence amongst the storm. I'm type A and can easily get stressed out and I remember during the family photos I was starting to get really tired and a bit cranky and he stepped right in, ran through the list of pictures and got us back into the air conditioning. I was thankful for that. He was also such a positive ray of light all day, always keeping the energy up during photos even when it felt like it was 100 degrees. And even during the night, him and our videographer, Joe were out on the dance floor with us!!! All of my guests kept mentioning to me how cool Alex was and how amazing it was that he just partied right along side us! And then to see all of the photos he captured from the day.... UNBELIEVABLE!! And I mean unbelievable. I can't understand how he was able to get such beautiful photos out of what I thought were silly moments or chaos, turned out amazing. He is such a professional at what he does, I can't thank him enough for his hard work and for the memories he was able to capture for us. The photos are incredible and I'm so glad we chose Alex to capture our day because we will have and love these photos for the rest of our lives!!!

Wow, where do we start with Alex. Seriously, I don’t know if we have enough characters to explain how THRILLED we were to work with Alex. We’ll cut to the chase, for anyone planning a wedding and worried about feeling overwhelmed, work with Alex. We can’t begin to tell you how awesome he was to make the process so easy and relaxed. His experience and professionalism reverberated through our whole planning process. Just an absolute pro and incredibly kind, understanding, and so helpful. This was all even before we had the wedding day. The wedding day…my man had the whole thing on lockdown. The consistent conversation leading up to the wedding helped on the big day. Integral in setting the schedules, the key times, locations, the main players involved. Alex and Joe (shoutout Joe T!) we’re in complete lockstep with the wedding party and most important family members. That was something very important to us, the family members who mean the most to us were significantly highlighted throughout the whole night. Getting our closest loved ones reactions from the ceremony to the speeches to the dance floor meant so much to us. One thing for sure is that when you’re cutting a rug with your friends and family, just having the time of your life, Alex is there snapping those memories…and you wouldn’t even know he’s there. Our favorite photos are him catching the absolute joy on our faces as we raged with our favorite people in the world. All in all, we loved the working with Alex. He was such an important part of our day and we couldn’t have been happier that he was with us on our biggest day. I can’t stress enough how key it is to work with the right people on your wedding day and we for sure we’re lucky to have Alex. When it came down to seeing the photos, Alex had a whole website dedicated to us and an incredible walk through of the day. It seriously felt like we relived our wedding. Alex and Joe both MADE our day (and entire wedding planning experience). Alex is the best photographer I have EVER had the pleasure of working with. 15/10 recommend. He is one of the most talented, kindhearted souls out there and he will make your wedding day one you’ll always remember. I got married in October 2022 and he made me and my wife feel so comfortable and at ease. His style is one that can’t be beat and booking him is one of the best decisions we have ever made. My pictures were everything I ever DREAMED of and MORE!!!! My fianceé and I felt so at ease and comfortable with Alex from our first interaction, and our session was by far the best photography experience I have ever had! We never felt like we didn't know what to do or how to pose, how to look- Alex took care of everything and made our environment, though it was chilled in the mountains, very warm! He really captured the essence of our relationship- the silly, the serious, the cozy, and the intimate so beautifully- he captured our love and our story. I can’t express how thankful we are that we found Alex ! Don’t skip an engagement session with him. I picked out a cool waterfall location for the engagement shoot that I thought would be easy to get to, and I was wrong . Alex spent the the hours leading up to our meeting time scoping out the scene and pulling some strings to get us to base of the falls that wasn’t open to the public.Not only did the pictures turn out *amazing* but it was a really fun adventure. Then of course comes the wedding day. Alex really got into the mix and everyone pretty much knew him by name by the end of the night. He didn’t hesitate to wrangle the wandering ring bearer and make sure we got all the shots we wanted. And during all of the un-posed special moments that you’d want captured, I caught Alex out of the corner of my eye snapping away. Alex is a phenomenal photographer and person. From our initial engagement session to our mountain wedding, Alex has been extremely friendly, helpful and engaged. He is great at making those around him feel comfortable and themselves. He can also quickly wrangle large groups of people for pictures (a rare talent). He perfectly captured our day and all the love felt! There is no one we would rather have as our wedding photographer!

When our planner scheduled a chemistry check call with Alex immediately upon signing our contract, we thought it was a bold move. We had expected to interview a number of photographers, but after checking out Alex’s portfolio and feeling his genuine excitement and interest in working with us, we went from skeptical to knowing he was the obvious decision. This is where fate comes in. Not only did we love Alex’s colorful and energetic photos of Philadelphia (where we were getting married) weddings, but we learned that Alex was moving to Colorado – not long after we moved to Colorado around the start of our wedding planning process! This meant that we got to take engagement photos with Alex in the Denver area while our wedding back East. We were fortunate to be able to take advantage of this window of Alex operating on a “bicoastal” schedule. We have now shot with Alex in urban and nature settings, at sunrise and sunset, and on both casual and formal occasions (hint – the latter of which was our wedding). Alex adapted fantastically to all scenarios, was so much fun to work with, and put us at ease. Not only that, but our engagement shoots were hands down the most romantic part of the leadup to our big day. The photos were such a hit that our guests were complimenting Alex’s work on wedding day and the compliments kept coming when they had the opportunity to work with Alex themselves. While we have only seen sneak peaks of the photos from the wedding, we are already swooning over the perfection with which he captured special moments and eagerly awaiting the big reveal!

Alex was the most incredible wedding photographer anyone could ever ask for. He consistently went above and beyond, and made us feel truly comfortable. From the instant we met him, he was incredibly engaging and we knew we were in good hands. His communication and attentiveness to the needs of a couple getting married cannot be understated and it made working with him an absolute pleasure. We booked both an engagement session and a wedding package and all of the photos really captured the true nature of both us as a couple, and the event that we planned—his style of photography is absolutely stunning. He also routinely checked in during these processes to make sure that we were getting what we wanted out of our experience with him. The wedding album that he produced for us was an incredible product and all the prints we ordered also turned out amazing. All in all, Alex truly helped to make our special day even more special and we would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to have an immaculate wedding photography experience.

Alex is amazing and super kind!! We had the best time during our engagement photo shoot. For two people who are terribly awkward in front of the camera, Alex made my fiancé and I feel comfortable and natural the whole time. Alex was awesome at scouting possible photo shoot locations. If I could give Alex Medvick 50 stars, I absolutely would. I cannot begin to explain how much you NEED Alex as your wedding photographer. He is the most down to earth person who conducts his business with so much heart and integrity. He is not your average wedding photographer who goes through the motions and does the same poses with every couple. He takes time to get to know you (and genuinely wants to!) and boy does that show in your photos. He made me and my fiancée feel so amazingly comfortable and natural in our pictures and neither of us likes being in front of the camera. Based on the results, you’d think I was a trained model!! I am far from that haha, and that really just speaks to Alex’s talents! He’s hilarious and embraces your silly nature in whatever way you’re down for. He’s down for anything and willing to collaborate on any vision you have. It’s been almost a year since we got our engagement photos done and I am STILL being inundated with compliments on how lovely our photos are. We cannot wait to work with him at our wedding!! You could not find a better wedding photographer than Alex. He was communicative, comforting, and celebratory! Alex takes his clients very personally - he doesn’t just give you pretty pictures, he gets to know you and helps bring out the true ‘you’ of the couple. He did an amazing job of wrangling family members together for post-ceremony photos (with respect, patience and firmness) and was incredibly creative with our shots. Alex excellently balanced having a vision for the shoot (which gave us direction) while highly prioritizing what we wanted to get. Oh, and his photos are beyond stunning.

If my husband and I got married all over again, I’d lock Alex in for the wedding date again and again. He made our photos so special and really elevated the energy of the day !!!
