Alex Medvick Photography

end (April 2026), and truly, he was one of the best parts of the entire day. From start to finish, he brought such a kind, positive, and genuinely happy energy that made everything feel easy and enjoyable. In the middle of all the chaos and emotions that come with a wedding day, having someone like Alex there made a huge difference. He kept us smiling, feeling comfortable, and completely present in the moment. It’s rare to find someone who is not only incredibly talented but also such a joy to be around, and Alex is exactly that. We felt so lucky to have him, and looking back, choosing him was one of the best decisions we made. I truly hope you make the same choice we did, you won’t regret it!!!

we are so beyond lucky we got to work with him! His professionalism and attitude goes above and beyond anything we could’ve expected. You can tell photography is his passion and it’s not just a job to him. He makes pictures so fun and our guests will be seriously talking about him forever! Everyone had amazing things to say about Alex and he fit right in with our friends and family! Would recommend Alex for any of your picture needs. He truly is a one of a kind photographer and we are so grateful to have worked with him on one of the most important days of our lives.

He genuinely cares about his clients and it shows in everything he does. Alex made us feel completely comfortable and confident, and he captured our moments so beautifully and authentically. His talent, attention to detail, and calm, caring presence made the entire experience unforgettable. He is hands down the best photographer I have ever worked with, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

of lighting, timing, and how to structure the day made it possible for us to get every photo we hoped for while still enjoying time with our friends and family. His collaboration with our videographer was truly seamless. Multiple guests even asked what company they were from because they worked together so flawlessly—they were shocked to learn they hadn’t known each other beforehand. On such an important day, having vendors who naturally connect and work as a team is such a gift, and Alex took it upon himself to build that communication from the start. He went above and beyond by checking in with us often and making sure we always had what we needed. He even jumped in to take professional photos whenever he noticed guests taking pictures on their phones so we could have those moments captured forever in the best quality. Alex didn’t miss a single beat throughout the entire day. We are beyond grateful that we chose him as our photographer. He captured our wedding from start to finish with so much care, talent, and attention to detail. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to document our special day!

friends because he not only got all of the incredible photos he did and knew when to blend in, he also was friendly and kind to all of our bridal party, family, and guests, and excited to give us the best day possible. We had been recommended Alex by our engagement photographer and had never met him in person until wedding day but he fit right into the fold and knew exactly who we were and what we wanted. We had almost zero suggestions for photos, we already knew we trusted Alex from having spoken a few times prior to the wedding and seen his other photos and just let him tell us (of course enthusiastically because this is how Alex operates) where to go and how to get the best photos. Unlike other photographers, he also stayed with us as long as we needed instead of giving us a specific hour time limit which was incredibly helpful given you never know how your wedding day will go. He’s not only fantastic at his job, but also an incredibly kind and thoughtful person. My husband broke his collarbone in the weeks leading up to our wedding and once Alex heard he sent us a gift card for food delivery because he knew how difficult those weeks were. We are so happy that we chose him to be our wedding photographer and you will have zero regrets if you do the same. Alex is the best!

ty made us feel like we were truly friends and that this wasn't just a job for him. Hiring him was a home run decision! Thanks Alex!

erfect! Alex was incredibly professional, flexible when we had to adjust arrival times due to weather for our outdoor mountain ceremony, and he handled everything with ease. His talent shines through in every shot. He was efficient, thorough, and captured every moment with such artistry and perfection. The photographs are absolutely stunning, and we will treasure them forever. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. Alex is a must-hire!

ntire media team and leading the charge to take it off of our plate. Prior to the wedding, there was ample communication about our necessary to capture shots and what kind of vibe we were going for, helping to really get a feel for how we wanted the day to go. Day of the wedding, some things time wise were running behind, but Alex was able to reposition things to where it never felt like we were rushed, still capturing everything we wanted to. If you’re looking for a photographer, look no further, as Alex will be the best choice you could make for your wedding day!

tion! Thanks Alex!

photos so easy and took all the awkwardness away and found us a stunning location. Leading up the wedding Alex was so helpful in thinking through our timeline and the photos we wanted to take day of. Throughout the entire process he was amazing at guiding us, calming us, and hyping us up. Our friends all commented on how much energy he had throughout the day, his ability to direct people in posed photos, and getting in on the action during dancing. He really helped us slow down and remember to savor the day, just us two. The sneak peeks that I have seen are incredible and I cannot wait to see the rest! I would recommend a million times over.

sure we would work well together. Alex captured our engagement photos, as well as our wedding day, and we love all the photos he created. We were most impressed with his style of really capturing the candid moments and showing everyone's emotions throughout the day. One of our favorite moments from our wedding was when Alex and our planner got down on the dance floor with us! It was so fun to celebrate everyone's hard work together. Alex was such a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him to other engaged couples.

helped us stay focused on one another and our community. He acted like our secret protector, carving out time throughout the night for us to bask in all of the small and big moments. In addition to being immensely talented, he is incredibly professional. Leading up to the wedding he was highly communicative (with both us and our planner) and took the time to get to know us. During the day, he played air traffic controller with our extended families without missing a beat. And he even shared a sneak peak of the previews by the next morning for us to celebrate before our honeymoon. We are so grateful that Alex was our photographer. The photos are timeless, and he is just such a great human.

ed and makes you feel so special on your day, at one point he was even doing the can-can with our bridesmaids. Everyone loved him! His photos are absolutely stunning and you can see his talent within the first shot. We were lucky enough to use Alex for both our engagement and wedding photos and they captured every emotion and moment we were hoping for. Thank you Alex and team for all you did to make us feel apart of your photo-family. It was an amazing time and you helped us capture memories that will last a lifetime.

oot (which we had to reschedule multiple times due to unforeseen circumstances on our end), and he was so flexible and communicative to get us rescheduled! We ended up having so much fun together! It was a relaxed/casual shoot at Chataqua park in Boulder. He truly captured our love and goofiness perfectly. Both of us felt so comfortable during the entire session. I highly recommend Alex for any of your photography needs!!

d's wedding that we were in. We think it was definitely fate that Alex moved from Philly to Colorado around the same time we did. We can;t imagine having anyone else photograph our wedding. Alex makes you feel like you're not in front of a camera; nothing feels posed or boring. He really has a special way of making you feel totally comfortable. From consultation to booking to the big day and to the photo reveal, Alex treats you like you're his only client. Every interaction with him is truly awesome. Our friends and family at the wedding absolutely loved Alex. They said he made them feel at ease, especially with the friends/family group shots. No one felt that the photographer was "in the way," in fact they were grateul that they could grab Alex and ask him to take specifc photos. We are beyond thrilled with all of our wedding photos. There were so many unique shots that we haven't seen from other photographers. Being able to do the big photo reveal a little over a month after the wedding was an incredible way to relive the day. We would hire Alex again in a heartbeat, and we're so glad to be able to call him a friend.

d to any questions I had and was able to accommodate any special requests that came in. Alex was friendly to everyone he spoke with during the wedding and brought such fun energy to the night! I would definitely refer Alex to anyone looking for a photographer- he did both our engagement photos and wedding and I couldn’t love the photos more. We love his style and approach to taking photos and was so easy to work with making it easy on us to take the photos. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos come in from our wedding!

g! They are truly works of art and captured our love beautifully. Everyone at our wedding loved Alex and he vibed so well with everyone. He made our day so amazing and special. He was so supportive, genuine, and helpful. He got us water and tissues, always asked us how we were feeling, and truly showed up for us in every way. He even laid down in the dirt to get the perfect shot! He is so amazing, and we cannot praise him enough. Book him, book him, book him!!!

within a day and sent a personalized video (and not a canned response like many vendors do), we scheduled a call with him within a few days and within a week or so we were under contract so it was a very quick and effortless process which we really appreciated as our experience had been more drawn out with different services/vendors. Alex also took the time to get to know us and our needs and was willing to work with us on the type of photography package that we needed which we really appreciated as other vendors immediately tried to sell us on their higher end package. Not only is Alex very personable and has a great attitude, he is SO organized and attentive and even though we didn't have to do much until our engagement shoot he would check in with us periodically to see if we needed assistance or recommendations for other wedding services. Upon booking with him he also sent us a timeline and wedding resource guide that was very helpful and kept us on track with planning until we began working with our wedding planner six months before the wedding. Alex's photography style is beautiful!! We are not the most photogenic people or comfortable in front of a camera but somehow Alex made us look amazing and made us feel more comfortable being in front of the camera. A couple days after our wedding he followed up with us and gave us a little sneak peek of the wedding day photos and we both instantly got emotional looking through the few photos, they were absolutely beautiful!! We cannot wait to see the rest of the photos, we will both likely be in tears reliving the beautiful day and seeing it all captured through Alex's photography. If you are looking to work with someone who not only is a professional and expert at what they do but also an all around great person, dont hesitate to work with Alex! He was so wonderful to work with and we would highly recommend him to any loved one who is on their way to get married. He made sure to take care of our photography needs and worked with our different vendors behind the scenes to make sure the day ran seamlessly and that everything we wanted to have captured indeed was. An added bonus was that several of our guests even complimented how wonderful he is and how he made them feel comfortable while taking photos throughout the day. We highly recommend working with Alex for your wedding as he was absolutely wonderful!

ause he had already photographed at my wedding venue, Terrain at Styers and I figured that would be convenient to have someone who already knew the area. Contacting Alex was one of the best decisions I made during the ENTIRE wedding process. He quickly got in touch with me and sent me a nice video message introducing himself, it was so kind and helped reduce the nerves around meeting someone new. Once we had a chance to chat and found common ground over our love for hiking and being in the mountains I knew he was the perfect choice. Not only was he focused on getting to know us as people and our love story to the fullest but wanted to make sure he understood what WE wanted from the day. I stopped looking for photographers after that because I was already sold on him, didn't matter what the cost was. Thankfully his prices were reasonable and he worked with us to mold a package that worked for us. For our engagement shoot, we decided to fly out to Colorado to meet up with him and did hours of photos up in the mountains. Alex was constantly finding inspiration for new shots or lighting and he made two very camera shy people feel good being photographed. We even took some stellar photos standing on top of a dumpster, a dumpster!!! It was a really awesome experience getting to hangout with him and he even brought us coffee on the early morning when we did sunrise photos. That just goes to show how selfless and kind he is! And he's just fun to hangout with, spending 2 days with him in Colorado was so fun, we laughed a ton and it didn't feel like we were posing at all. In the months leading up to the wedding he would reach out occasionally, offering help and guidance if we needed it. He sent over resources that were beyond helpful and helped me put a timeline together of the whole day. I never expected that our photographer would be as helpful in the planning of the wedding as Alex was for us. Finally, when we got to the day of our wedding Alex was a calm presence amongst the storm. I'm type A and can easily get stressed out and I remember during the family photos I was starting to get really tired and a bit cranky and he stepped right in, ran through the list of pictures and got us back into the air conditioning. I was thankful for that. He was also such a positive ray of light all day, always keeping the energy up during photos even when it felt like it was 100 degrees. And even during the night, him and our videographer, Joe were out on the dance floor with us!!! All of my guests kept mentioning to me how cool Alex was and how amazing it was that he just partied right along side us! And then to see all of the photos he captured from the day.... UNBELIEVABLE!! And I mean unbelievable. I can't understand how he was able to get such beautiful photos out of what I thought were silly moments or chaos, turned out amazing. He is such a professional at what he does, I can't thank him enough for his hard work and for the memories he was able to capture for us. The photos are incredible and I'm so glad we chose Alex to capture our day because we will have and love these photos for the rest of our lives!!!

g a wedding and worried about feeling overwhelmed, work with Alex. We can’t begin to tell you how awesome he was to make the process so easy and relaxed. His experience and professionalism reverberated through our whole planning process. Just an absolute pro and incredibly kind, understanding, and so helpful. This was all even before we had the wedding day. The wedding day…my man had the whole thing on lockdown. The consistent conversation leading up to the wedding helped on the big day. Integral in setting the schedules, the key times, locations, the main players involved. Alex and Joe (shoutout Joe T!) we’re in complete lockstep with the wedding party and most important family members. That was something very important to us, the family members who mean the most to us were significantly highlighted throughout the whole night. Getting our closest loved ones reactions from the ceremony to the speeches to the dance floor meant so much to us. One thing for sure is that when you’re cutting a rug with your friends and family, just having the time of your life, Alex is there snapping those memories…and you wouldn’t even know he’s there. Our favorite photos are him catching the absolute joy on our faces as we raged with our favorite people in the world. All in all, we loved the working with Alex. He was such an important part of our day and we couldn’t have been happier that he was with us on our biggest day. I can’t stress enough how key it is to work with the right people on your wedding day and we for sure we’re lucky to have Alex. When it came down to seeing the photos, Alex had a whole website dedicated to us and an incredible walk through of the day. It seriously felt like we relived our wedding. There’s a lot of decisions to make through the planning process. This one is easy. Alex Medvick should be your photographer.

ement photoshoot and wedding photography was the best decision we made in our entire wedding process. When we began planning our wedding we had no idea that my husband’s immigration journey would end up taking 3 years (vs the 18 months we anticipated). Alex was entirely unfazed, waiting patiently for us and sending us notes of encouragement along the way. Alex went above and beyond so many times over to help us in peculiar circumstances and gifted us with truly gorgeous images that we will treasure forever. Thanks for everything, Alex and Joe! I would wholeheartedly recommend Alex to any couple!

the amazing pictures, was more than we could have ever asked for. We became connected to Alex seemingly randomly (I won an Instagram contest for a free engagement session), which just blows our minds. Like how lucky are we to have found such a professional, down to earth, and fun person to photograph our special day?! The number of positive comments from friends, family, guests, etc. about how fun yet professional Alex was is literally unmatched. Alex's entire philosophy is to capture how you are uniquely "you" and his pictures have overwhelmingly done this in the best way possible. We can't wait to see the remainder of our photos! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We really cannot say it enough. If you're reading this - reach out to Alex and you won't regret it!

ng day one you’ll always remember. I got married in October 2022 and he made me and my wife feel so comfortable and at ease. His style is one that can’t be beat and booking him is one of the best decisions we have ever made. He is so thoughtful and caring, and getting to know you really matters to him. I don’t just feel like I now have a photographer for life, but I actually feel like I’ve made a new friend. He’s a people person first and is more concerned with shooting your STORY than anything else. Looking at his photos reminds me of how amazing our day was and how special it was to be with each other. None of that would have been possible without him. He’s down for anything and will have as much fun with your shots as you want to!! He’s intuitive and creative and his shots speak for themselves. You want a photographer who will bring joy and poise to what could be a stressful day, and that’s Alex!!! Book him immediately - don’t hesitate!

he planning process & lead up! He has a go with the flow and super fun attitude without sacrificing an ounce of professionalism! We love Alex!!!

s backyard, and the photos captured the day PERFECTLY. These photos will forever hold a special place in my heart 🥲 Alex was a joy to work with from the very start, and has become a great friend through the process! I cannot recommend him enough. Go book right now! I also want to note that all this praise is coming from a fellow photographer who admires Alex’s work for more than the pretty photos. The lighting, composition, editing, and intentional thought that goes into his work is what makes him exceptional! Cannot cheer him on enough! :)

t photography experience I have ever had! We never felt like we didn't know what to do or how to pose, how to look- Alex took care of everything and made our environment, though it was chilled in the mountains, very warm! He really captured the essence of our relationship- the silly, the serious, the cozy, and the intimate so beautifully- he captured our love and our story. We cannot wait to have him as our wedding photographer!!! 10000/10 recommend!!!!

would be easy to get to, and I was wrong . Alex spent the the hours leading up to our meeting time scoping out the scene and pulling some strings to get us to base of the falls that wasn’t open to the public. Not only did the pictures turn out *amazing* but it was a really fun adventure. Then of course comes the wedding day. Alex really got into the mix and everyone pretty much knew him by name by the end of the night. He didn’t hesitate to wrangle the wandering ring bearer and make sure we got all the shots we wanted. And during all of the un-posed special moments that you’d want captured, I caught Alex out of the corner of my eye snapping away. I highly recommend working with Alex he takes beautiful photos and he’s a pleasure to work with . What more can you ask for!

ing those around him feel comfortable and themselves. He can also quickly wrangle large groups of people for pictures (a rare talent). He perfectly captured our day and all the love felt! There is no one we would rather have as our wedding photographer!

hers, but after checking out Alex’s portfolio and feeling his genuine excitement and interest in working with us, we went from skeptical to knowing he was the obvious decision. This is where fate comes in. Not only did we love Alex’s colorful and energetic photos of Philadelphia (where we were getting married) weddings, but we learned that Alex was moving to Colorado – not long after we moved to Colorado around the start of our wedding planning process! This meant that we got to take engagement photos with Alex in the Denver area while our wedding back East. We were fortunate to be able to take advantage of this window of Alex operating on a “bicoastal” schedule. We have now shot with Alex in urban and nature settings, at sunrise and sunset, and on both casual and formal occasions (hint – the latter of which was our wedding). Alex adapted fantastically to all scenarios, was so much fun to work with, and put us at ease. Not only that, but our engagement shoots were hands down the most romantic part of the leadup to our big day. The photos were such a hit that our guests were complimenting Alex’s work on wedding day and the compliments kept coming when they had the opportunity to work with Alex themselves. While we have only seen sneak peaks of the photos from the wedding, we are already swooning over the perfection with which he captured special moments and eagerly awaiting the big reveal!

he was incredibly engaging and we knew we were in good hands. His communication and attentiveness to the needs of a couple getting married cannot be understated and it made working with him an absolute pleasure. We booked both an engagement session and a wedding package and all of the photos really captured the true nature of both us as a couple, and the event that we planned—his style of photography is absolutely stunning. He also routinely checked in during these processes to make sure that we were getting what we wanted out of our experience with him. The wedding album that he produced for us was an incredible product and all the prints we ordered also turned out amazing. All in all, Alex truly helped to make our special day even more special and we would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to have an immaculate wedding photography experience.

eel comfortable and natural the whole time. Alex was awesome at scouting possible photo shoot locations. We ended up in the most beautiful place possible, with incredible mountain views. We had such a blast romping around exploring with Alex! 10 out of 10 would recommend Alex for anyone feeling nervous about taking professional photos!!

y recommend!! :)

ard, non photogenic people and delivered truly stunning photos that we will cherish forever! If you're looking for someone who can capture the beauty of nature, pull something special out of you and your partner all while being super kind and genuine I highly highly recommend you contact Alex. He gave us several location recommendations with plenty of detail on how to choose the best spot based on our mobility and comfort level with the outdoors. He also has tons of recommendations for other parts of the wedding planning process if you need it. As someone who has never done a professional photoshoot, I see why people invest in talented photographers. Alex is a true artist and a joy to be around.

nducts his business with so much heart and integrity. He is not your average wedding photographer who goes through the motions and does the same poses with every couple. He takes time to get to know you (and genuinely wants to!) and boy does that show in your photos. He made me and my fiancée feel so amazingly comfortable and natural in our pictures and neither of us likes being in front of the camera. Based on the results, you’d think I was a trained model!! I am far from that haha, and that really just speaks to Alex’s talents! He’s hilarious and embraces your silly nature in whatever way you’re down for. He’s down for anything and willing to collaborate on any vision you have. It’s been almost a year since we got our engagement photos done and I am STILL being inundated with compliments on how lovely our photos are. We cannot wait to work with him at our wedding!! Book Alex now and literally never look back.

tty pictures, he gets to know you and helps bring out the true ‘you’ of the couple. He did an amazing job of wrangling family members together for post-ceremony photos (with respect, patience and firmness) and was incredibly creative with our shots. Alex excellently balanced having a vision for the shoot (which gave us direction) while highly prioritizing what we wanted to get. Oh, and his photos are beyond stunning.

love Alex and he seriously is so present, so kind, so creative and beyond anyone you could ever imagine working with. You need Alex at your wedding.

reated a fun and relaxed environment during the shoot. I am to this day blown away by the photos that resulted, Alex captured moments and expressions I didn't know existed.

on possible getting the most gorgeous pictures and still caught all of our guests reactions to us surprising them! Alex is an absolute gem to work with, we have reached out to him on multiple occasions for other photography requests and he always pointed us in the right direction (since he moved away from Philadelphia). If you have the wonderful opportunity to hire Alex as your wedding/elopement photographer, do it because you won't find anyone better!!!

him but our photos are everything we wanted and more. We are SO happy we got a wedding album as well, it’s very well made and the customized layout is amazing. Alex made every part of planning less stressful and really went above and beyond. We felt comfortable, supported, and were so pleased with our experience from start to finish. He is a one of a kind photographer.

made our engagement and wedding photos so comfortable, it felt like hanging with an old friend. Multiple couples in our bridal party fell so in love with him that they have inquired about his services - including some that aren’t even engaged yet. Please, please, please book him for your wedding. I can %100 guarantee you won’t regret
