Alex Paul Photography

ng eye for what is going to look good, and makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera! I trusted him completely throughout this entire process because he knows what is going to look best and he delivered. Our wedding day ran so smoothly and a lot of that was thanks to him. He is energetic, yet a calming presence, which kept my nerves at ease, while staying on schedule. His secondary photographer, Margo was so helpful throughout the entire day! She helped carry my dress/bouquet for our first look on the beach during a very windy day. She also grabbed my phone for me and took a few photos of the reception space setup on my phone before any guests arrived and captured an aerial view of our ceremony, including some shots and videos on my phone without even being asked. So incredibly thoughtful! Our family and bridal party loved working with Alex as well. He made the picture taking process quick and easy on a very windy/chilly day. Our photos turned out absolutely stunning! His photography style is glamorous, elegant, and timeless. We will forever cherish these photos and have had such a fun time sharing them with friends and family. He delivered our photos quickly to us and it was so fun to relive the memories of our wedding day while my husband and I were on our honeymoon. I couldn't recommend working with Alex enough! He was the very first vendor I knew I wanted to hire and I was so happy to hear when he had our wedding date available. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out!!!

taking. He made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the process, and the artistry in the photos is incredible. If you’re having any doubts at all, Alex is 100% the photographer of your wedding dreams!!

hotos is fun, natural, and effortless! He captured our special day so beautifully. We can’t wait to work with him again in the future.

photographer is next to you literally your entire wedding day). He did an engagement photo shoot for us a couple months before our wedding and it was great to get to know his working style and practice being photographed before our big day. Leading up to the wedding, Alex was extremely easy to communicate with and we were able to exchange all the details about what photos were most important to us. At the wedding he captured everything and the photos came out AMAZING!! He was great at directing our big family and wedding parties and making sure we got all the shots we wanted. He is organized and direct, which is especially important on your wedding day. After all our formal photos, he really blended into the party and captured the candids we wanted of us dancing and with our guests. He gave us a large sneak peek of photos only days after the wedding and then the whole album about a week after! You can be confident you’ll get what you want with Alex as your photographer!

wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire process. We were so pleased with everything and the turnaround time was unbelievable. Don't even question anything, and just go with Alex Paul. He is the best of the best.

ding day photos (Cape Cod). I can’t say enough about how talented and professional Alex Paul is. He has such a fun, unique, candid approach that we LOVED. Not only is he an incredible photographer, but he is excellent at giving directions for pictures and is fast + efficient. Us and our entire bridal party was obsessed with both Alex and his second shooter, Kadri because they both made everyone feel at ease. Alex was able to fit right in with everyone and make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. There have been so much incredible feedback on interactions as well as the unbelievable quality of photos. My husband and I received our photos for each event (engagement, wedding, etc) SO quickly and we were impressed with his digital platform, it made it easy to download, post, and save the photos. He even gives the access to print though the portal as well! The pictures perfectly captured our special day and were EXACTLY what we were looking for. His unique eye for capturing beautiful pictures of not just the couple, but also the guest and overall details of the day is truly top notch. If you are starting the search for a wedding photographer for your big day look no further, Alex Paul is your guy! Thank you SO MUCH Alex Paul and team for your incredible work - we SO look forward to you capturing special moments for us again in the future!!!

. As someone who doesn't typically photograph well, I am so thrilled that we chose Alex! Our pictures are gorgeous, and we truly enjoyed his company! Thank you Alex!

. The entire bridal party and families mentioned how fun he was to work with, and we appreciated his ability to take control and give direction when needed. The entire day felt easy and seamless, and allowed my husband and I to focus on enjoying each moment. We received sneak peeks the next day and our gallery in just a few weeks - we were blown away by the gallery we received from Alex! He truly captured our complete day, including some really special candid moments. Can’t wait to use him for future milestones!

process. It was apparent he was personally invested in our big day, listened to our wants and needs, helped us with our timeline and even showed up early and stayed a bit later than the contract to ensure every moment of the day was captured. He sent us preview pictures the very same night of the wedding and we are amazed as just how high quality is work is. If you're on the fence about who to hire, Alex is your guy (especially if you're considering a photographer on the cape)!

ional and so much fun to work with, and he knew exactly what to say to get the perfect candid photo. On our wedding day, the weather was windy and overcast, but we were able to take our portraits, bridal party, and immediate family photos outside, and they came out perfectly. He was quick and efficient to get everyone included for the shot so we weren't waiting around in the cold. We're all so happy with the photos; Alex is truly talented, and his ability to capture these precious moments is really special. Overall, we had such a great experience working with Alex, and we can't wait to work with him for future family photos!! Thank you, Alex!

e wedding. He was very professional in how he operated and an absolute joy to work with. His strongest attributes beyond his professionalism was definitely his ability to capture all the little moments in between the major ones and doing so with out actually feeling like he’s right there. He allows for moments to happen organically and his ability to anticipate those made for absolutely breathtaking photos that we will cherish forever. Even through 50 mph gusting storm, he was out there with a big smile on his face capturing us trying to hold the umbrella while trying to move to the reception area all while laughing with us at the situation. It’s those little moments that he gets in to capture that really makes for reliving the day that much more vivid.

so many compliments! It was honestly very hard to pick just one for our thank you notes. During the day of the wedding, Alex was able to help us remain present and kept us laughing throughout the picture process. He knows exactly how to direct the pictures which is extremely helpful for couples like us who don't get professional photos taken often. Wedding pictures is one of the most important investments you can make for your wedding and Alex is the best out there!

s of rain and WOW did Alex deliver an epic gallery of wedding pictures. He was out in the rain, soaking wet, with a smile on his face and his energy did not break the entire day long. We loved working with Alex and our friends and family raved about how awesome he was. We are blown away by all of our pictures. Looking through our gallery it is so fun to see the candid moments Alex captured. Our day is perfectly encapsulated in his pictures and we will cherish the memories forever.

he spent a lot of time in mocking up the photos and gave us perfect directions and how to pose correctly for each shot. He made sure that he took all of the pictures that we had initially requested and took the time to take some unbelievable candid shots. The bride had a great time with him while shooting her getting ready with her friends. Such a nice gentleman! We knew we had made the perfect choice when he took care in setting everything up and ultimately making us kiss 500 times lol He was very punctual and professional and extremely friendly. We knew he was the right choice when we saw our friends pictures that they took behind him. Then when we got the sneak peek pictures two days later, they just confirmed the talent that he had and the correct choice we had made selecting him!

with the timeline and first-look decisions. Even after a hiccup with engagement photos (due to circumstances out of his control) that could have been disastrous, Alex was understanding, professional, kind, and worked with us to learn from the experience and help make things right. During the wedding, Alex went above and beyond to make sure we both had fun and got all of the shots we wanted. Additionally, Alex is your biggest hype person and great at giving directions on what to do in the pictures for posing. Lastly, Alex somehow is able to be both personable and professional. They say, when hiring your photographer, to make sure you find someone you are comfortable with since your photographer will be with you all day, and I can honestly say he was definitely our person for the job. We had so much fun shooting with him; there was not a moment I felt uncomfortable or unsure. The quality of his photos is phenomenal and I am obsessed with the teasers we received (the night of - so cool!), and I am extremely excited to see the final product. I can't say enough amazing things!

o I knew that we had to schedule our wedding around his availability. Due to covid, our engagement ended up being 3 years, and over the course of that time, we went through several iterations of planning and venue changes. Throughout all of them, Alex was so supportive, creative, flexible, and communicative, and empathetic - he answered every email that I sent promptly and with calmness and enthusiasm about the changes that we were considering and had great ideas about how to adjust our plans to fit the venue changes. By the time our wedding rolled around, it felt more like we were working with a good friend. Alex made us and our entire wedding party feel so comfortable and we had so much fun taking photos with him and his team on our wedding day. He knows so many of the great locations for photos around the cape and has worked with so many vendors that he adds a whole new level of creativity, joy, and organization to the wedding day. We could not be happier with how our photos turned out - Alex turned them around to us in just a few weeks and they are perfect! Our friend group continues to book him for their weddings because everyone has been so blown away by the quality of his work. Alex, I can't thank you enough for everything you did to make our wedding so special. If you are considering booking Alex and his team for your wedding day - run, don't walk! I would give him 10 stars if I could!

n our wedding day. He makes everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, have fun, and enjoy the photo process without taking away from the wedding day. Thank you Alex for our amazing photos that capture our best day!!

dding photos fun and exciting and everyone absolutely loved having him there. My family and I were blown away by how perfect the wedding album turned out. We can't thank Alex enough and can't wait to have him take family photos in the future. He has been a pleasure to work with!

engagement pictures and literally the moment he got out of his car we connected. He’s so funny, so personable, and so talented. I was blown away by our engagement pictures. Further along in the wedding planning he helped guide decisions (first look, 2nd photographer, timeline, etc.) without pushing one way or another, and we felt he was really honest with pricing and expectations. Come wedding day he was punctual, fun, upbeat, and I just trusted him. It was so nice to just “be” on my wedding day. We got sneak peaks the next day and the full album 10 days later… my husband and I got to look through the pictures while sipping wine in Italy on the last day of our honeymoon. Best. Ending. Ever. Seriously - Alex was the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning. We’ll cherish our pictures forever… Could not recommend him more!

ns to ask us to find out what was important and provided a detailed timeline and planning, so we knew what to expect. From the moment he arrived on our wedding day, he had such an incredible energy, and kept us laughing all day. He was so efficient and captured the most stunning portraits and candid photos. He moved so quickly and gave such good directions that we never had time to feel posed or awkward, and just got to have fun and enjoy our day while he captured every bit of it. We received a sneak peak of the photos the next morning which was so fun to look at with our families at breakfast and we got our entire gallery in a matter of weeks. Everyone should hire Alex, and we will definitely be using him in the future for family photos. Thank you, Alex!!

date a year later. Throughout the planning process, Alex was amazing - particularly because we were worried about outdoor weather in winter, ceremony timing due to shorter days, and holding all wedding events in a single space. Alex answered all of our questions, helped us make important decisions, and kept us reassured the entire process. We felt very confident in having Alex as our photographer and we were not disappointed. Alex kept the day moving, with a very large wedding party, huge family, and lots of moments we wanted to be captured. He and his second shooter (also named Alex) put everyone at ease with their professional manner, efficiency, and positive reinforcement. The day flew by - and with a blink it was all over. Yet - we received our sneak peak less than 48 hours later and suddenly had the most gorgeous pictures to remember the day. Alex has a great eye - and he definitely included many of what ended up being our favorites in the sneak peek. When we reviewed the full gallery of over 900 images, I tried my best to whittle down a social media album, somehow was still left with more than have the photos. It's a pretty great position when you have too many good ones to choose from. We would highly recommend Alex to anyone look for a best-in-class photographer to document and preserve memories from such a meaningful day. Thank you, Alex!

1 wedding and captured all the great things, of course- pretty dress, flowers, people, ambiance etc. But what he really captures is the FUN, the inside jokes you have with your partner, the stuff you would never in a billion years to think of getting a photo of. I absolutely cherish our photos and I really don't think anyone but Alex could have captured what he did.

ade us feel like he wasn’t even there. The photographs of our wedding are something we will cherish forever and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Having a wedding in a pandemic was difficult enough, but we ended up with a surprise lightning storm too. Not to worry, Alex had a million ideas and we ended up feeling lucky that we had a downpour on our wedding day because we got such incredible pictures. He is able to capture the emotion and “feel” of the event, when you look at our pictures it feels like you are back at our wedding. After our wedding we had multiple friends book Alex for family photo sessions they were so impressed.

honestly could not recommend Alex Paul more strongly! Working with Alex was incredible --- he was organized and efficient, but most importantly his vision and creativity shone through. He would at times blend into the background or spring to action to offer direction when needed to ensure that he captured those special moments. And though we got married on a rainy December day, Alex found ways to make that a positive. After seeing results, we wouldn’t have wanted a different type of day. On top of all that, Alex was able to provide a “sneak peek” of ~20 photos within 24 hours of our event, knowing that we wanted to use them to quickly create and send Christmas cards. Thanks again Alex!!

rished moments of our wedding, and we think anyone would be well-served to work with him.

ll wanted to do a mini ceremony and our reception in 2021. Alex was so accomodating and we were able to book him for both dates! Alex came to my parents house for a few before pictures, and from there captured our ceremony in a park by the ocean perfectly! He was great and wore a mask so we felt comfortable, even outside where it was not required. (Thank you Alex!) From there we went to a local landmark to wrap up our pictures as the new Mr. and Mrs with the sunset behind us... We had our previews the very next morning, this was the best surprise. I LOVE Alex's style for candids, relax and capture the moment - and he did that flawlessly! I can not wait for our part 2 in 2021 - We are so beyond thrilled with the pictures from our ceremony. You will not be disappointed with the memories Alex captures from your best day ever!

to be around/work with. Alex later supported my husband and I through our change in plans from a big wedding to a small COVID micro-wedding. Not only did he capture the most beautiful photographs of our day, but he even helped my mother pick out the perfect location to set up our "alter" on the beach, which made for the best ambiance and even more stunning photos. Both of our families raved about how friendly he was and we have received endless comments on the beauty of his photographs. We can not recommend Alex Paul enough and will definitely use him for all future photography needs!

gave great feedback and excellent direction. The photos came out amazing and we couldn’t be happier. He’s absolutely amazing!

our engagement photos done (our wedding is in October), but I started crying when I saw the pictures. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and it shines through in the pictures, showing natural and effortless happiness. He took into account my favorite side (let’s be honest, we all have one), and worked our angles so we both look amazing. I can’t recommend Alex enough and I’m so excited for him to shoot our wedding!!

e to get us a sneak peek of our special day, a few days after our wedding and those were the first of many beautiful photos. From me: I don't have much of an eye for photography, but right away, I knew Alex had talent. On pure talent alone, I highly recommend Alex. Our photos look incredible! There are some photos that leave you wondering how on Earth he was able to capture what he did. Aside from talent, Alex has a very consultative style leading up to the wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer, hard-working photographer. He also has a great sense of humor. Additionally, him and our videographer worked incredibly well together as a team, even though I don't believe they met prior to our wedding. Alex, thank you for doing a great job! The memory of our wedding day will always feel fresh in our heads. For any future couple looking for a photographer, choosing Alex is an absolute no-brainer! Thank you again, Alex!

ning. I was completely blown away with how gorgeous my wedding photos turned out. My wedding was an outdoor wedding at Wequassett resort. He did a phenomenal job of capturing so many wonderful memories from the evening. He did an outstanding job and I cannot recommend him enough! His is fantastic and I will cherish these photos forever!

working with him so much that we hired him for our wedding. Holding romantic poses for photos feel awkward initially, but through his patient direction and boundless energy, we felt more comfortable and were rewarded with amazing photos. Alex is also extremely responsive, quick at delivering finished photos, and all-around a good person with a great sense of humor. We cannot thank Alex enough for capturing all of our special moments and would be more than willing to serve as a reference. There's no need to look anywhere else, hire Alex now before he gets booked by someone else.

eable, and a lot of fun to be around! I can't wait for the next occasion when I will need a photographer, just so I can hire him again!

le with is so important. After emailing Alex, he replied in approximately 5 minutes, and suggested that we meet in person to get to know each other. We met at our wedding venue and Alex's laid back, yet professional attitude exactly what we were looking for. After being a bridesmaid in several weddings, I can say that Alex was the most efficient wedding photographer I've ever encountered. He makes everyone feel comfortable and has a knack for getting amazing shots in only a few tries. Alex braved the cold with our entire wedding party (we had a December wedding and the weather was in the single digits at night) with a smile on his face and supported the audible that we called to add a location to our outdoor photos on the fly. I would recommend Alex to anyone getting married. We couldn't be happier with our pictures! Alex also promises a 2-week turnaround on all pictures and he delivered 100%, and even sent some sneak peak photos within 48 hours of our wedding. Thanks, Alex!!

ant to us and Alex surpassed all of our expectations. From the beginning he was extremely communicative and professional but also fun and energetic. We live in New York and he graciously came to the city to take our engagement photo shoot. Posing for pictures can be awkward but he made it comfortable and fun and our photo shoot came out edgy and cool without being cheesy (which we wanted to avoid). Also not to mention we had a blast with him - such a fun guy, laid back and adventurous, anything for a good shot! Our wedding photos came out AWESOME and beyond anything we had expected. He captured the feeling and vibe of the day perfectly. Also – after my father in law tragically passed a few months after our wedding, Alex went back through his photos and compiled some special moments of him for which we are so grateful. OH – Also Alex had a baby just a few days before our wedding! Despite I’m sure being utterly exhausted, he showed up excited and energized with such focus and determination to capture every moment. To sum it up, he is skillful, kind, fun, authentic and just an awesome person, BOOK ALEX!!!

g photographers. I didn't know how to choose! I remember thinking that I was looking at the wedding details rather than the photos! My fiance and I wanted to have our engagement photos on Martha's Vineyard, and Alex traveled and spent the whole day with us! We had the best time driving around the island and showing him our favorite places! Because of our engagement session we felt so comfortable with Alex! That made the wedding day so much better! Something I had not considered until the day itself was how much time I would be spending with my photographer. I am so thankful that my fiance, family and I were able to spend time with Alex! He helped us during the planning process with coming up with a timeline for the day! I can't speak enough of his talent! I am so SO excited I was able to work with him! My husband, his family, and my family and friends all loved him! Thank you so much Alex!!!

for perfectly, and everyone who has seen them is blown away. Also just a really great person to interact with. You will be glad you chose Alex, as you will reap the benefits for a lifetime. Hope to work with him again in the future.

ortfolio, demeanor, professionalism and expertise. His world travels and accompanying photography spoke volumes up front, and were equally as impressive in practice. We cannot say enough amazing complements as to our engagement and wedding photos alike! Alex completely captured the essence of my husband (our puppy) and myself in every picture he took and captured some amazing candids from our wedding day. Alex was also very easy to work with in terms of direction and photographic insight. Having never taken professional photos together, Alex easily instructed us into each shot. The cost for his work is also very on point and we loved that he had a second photographer as well for the wedding date. If you’re looking for an amazing experience for the Cape or Boston area, you should absolutely consider Alex Paul Photography. It was one of our best decisions for the engagement/wedding memories!

d vantage points. His schedule was seamless and efficient and I hope to work with him again in the future!

ss leading up to the wedding was amazing and he was so knowledgeable. We didn’t have a worry in the world when it came to photographs! The pictures we’ve received are unbelievable and better than we could’ve hoped for. We can’t say it enough - hiring Alex was one of the best decisions we made!

a blur, but the photos will be there forever to remind you of the big moments and the little moments that made up that special day. We added to the weight of this decision by planning an ‘Unplugged Day’, not just for the ceremony but the entire event from arrival to departure. With no sneaky camera phones in sight, we were putting all our faith in our photographer to capture the day in the style and manner that we hoped for. Alex was this person for us and we had confidence at every step that we had made the right choice. Style is personal and Alex’s photojournalistic style and adherence to ‘real’ colours was the look we wanted. We chatted with Alex before committing and met in person a few months before the wedding, both occasions showed that Alex’s confident but laid back approach suited our personalities. On the day, he was prepared and efficient, switching between two cameras and various lenses. Our ceremony was outside, our reception was inside, we had a mix of static moments and high energy dancing. None of this phased Alex and the results speak for themselves: beautifully lit, framed and focused photos for each situation. We expressed a desire for candids and the in-the-moment photos of people beaming, laughing and enjoying the day are some of our favourites. Alex post-processed the entire set of photographs in 9 days. This was an amazing speed and greatly appreciated as our ‘unplugged’ guests had nothing up to this point. We now have a wonderful set of photos to share and supplement our memories of the day.

ars of practice and persistence, evidenced by his impressive portfolio, is clearly what allowed him to achieve such a high level of success in the photography world. He is creative, inspired, and was dedicated above all else to giving us exactly what we envisioned. Not to mention, he has an infectiously upbeat personality, a great sense of humor and a calm demeanor that put us at ease. We completely trusted him and had full faith the photos would be beautiful. Honestly, he far exceeded all of our expectations and we are so blown away by the pictures. He fully captured the essence and happiness of that day in each shot and we are so thankful we chose Alex to crystallize these memories into remarkable pieces of art.

l levels. He's professional, accommodating, and provides amazing products with great service! Alex has the talent to capture expressions and moments that only last seconds, he goes unnoticed while doing his work and he's able to capture everything! He's able to do amazing things with architecture, lighting, framing the shots and motion capture. We love the pictures as they were taken through our eyes! Alex was also a pleasure to work with. He guided us with simple instructions and tips to get the best photos. He makes everybody comfortable and the photos are just more natural than posing photos. Alex is simply incredible! If you are looking for a professional photographer with this artistic style of documenting events, I strongly recommend Alex!
