I am Claire Waldbart Kramer, owner and lead designer of Alex Waldbart Florist. I am also the 4th generation of Waldbarts to own my shop. We have been in business since 1872. Personally I have been a florist for 30 years and have literally designed hundreds of weddings.
The reason I love to design wedding flowers is the personal, unique beauty of each bride's vision and I get to bring that to life! I absolutely LOVE working with flowers, my awesome clients and my sweet pup too and can't wait to meet you!

Claire and the whole team here were great! It was so easy and low-stress the day of the wedding since they hand-delivered all the florals for the day. Brian and Autumn did a beautiful job decorating and always exactly where we needed them, when we needed them.

I cannot say enough about this florist and specifically Claire. Claire saw our vision and communicated with us for over a year to make sure we were all on the same page. She came to us to deliver our flowers and they were everything we imagined and more. She even came to the rescue with flower pins that we forgot to buy before the big day! The arrangements this team created really tied our pictures and day together so beautifully. We highly recommend using this florist for any floral needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Claire and Alex Waldbart Florist. The flowers were gorgeous and lasted days after the wedding. Alex Waldbart was my florist for my wedding. They were fantastic. Claire is very easy to work with and she knows her stuff. When I met with her, I didn't know the names of any flowers but I knew my color scheme. Claire was able to piece together flowers from my vague description to show me what they would look like. The day of, she nailed it. Everything looked beautiful and better than I hoped. I would highly suggest Alex Waldbart and I will be using them for all my floral needs in the future.

I cannot find the words to describe how just how BEAUTIFUL the floral arrangements, bridesmaid's bouquets, and my daughter's bridal bouquet turned out on her wedding day! Claire Waldbart Kramer and her team did an AMAZING job on all of flowers and decorations that they put together for our special event. They were so easy to work with and very professional. Everyone that attended wanted to know who we used! From the ceremony decor to the floral arrangements on the tables, it truly made the entire day so special. 5 Star + rating from the Lamantia Family!

Claire, the owner of Alex Waldbart Florist, is an exceptional florist. I went to her with a vision and budget in mind, and she over-delivered! I could not believe her attention to detail and wonderful customer service. She was direct and let me know what was possible within my means and STILL managed to create some beautiful bouquets and floral arrangements. I was incredibly satisfied with my choice in florist and I would highly recommend her to any bride and groom!

I have been dying to write this review since the moment we hired Tony at Waldbart's Florist. 3 months before our wedding we had to cut ties with the florist we hired one year out from the wedding. Just wasn't doing it for us. I emailed Waldbart's at 9:00pm and received an email from Claire within one hour--she was easing my worries and immediately trying to bring a smile to me face. The next day I met with Tony Corso and they managed to squeeze us in as a client on such short notice for an October wedding! Everyone knows October is a crazy wedding month but he wanted to help and they MADE. IT. HAPPEN! From the moment we met, Tony mastered the image I had drummed up of our ideal wedding day. Flowers were the ONLY element of color in our wedding so they had to be right. OH AND WERE THEY RIGHT!!! Tony checked in with me on a regular basis just to see how I was doing and if there was anything he could do to help me make decisions. WHO IS THIS GUY?! I LOVE HIM! I needed someone to guide me in making decisions that would make the most stunning overall impact and BOOM...their arrangements receive an ovation! For any bride who obsesses over flowers...for any bride knows her standards are high...look no further you have met your match!

Our experience with Brian was phenomenal: super easy to work with, always responsive to inquiries, provides great ideas for color, themes, designs, creates the most beautiful arrangements within budget, is professional and kind, and was absolutely reliable on the day of the wedding ceremony and reception! She is so good at what she does and my bridal bouquet was beyond gorgeous! She even text me a picture of it when she was making it - how cool. Every detail was thought of. Flowers were beautiful and price was good. They were so kind and friendly. Claire came to both locations to set up the flowers and to help out where ever needed. She even loans us vases to use at the reception.

Claire was amazing!!! I came in with a few pictures of what I wanted and she brought my vision to life!!! During the hour I was there she was completely focused on me and brought out tons of flowers to help me decide and give me a great picture of what my actual flowers will look like. She is always quick to respond to email and always there to answer any questions I have!!! She is very accommodating for an out of town bride and I am beyond excited for the beautiful flowers I will have on my big day!!!

The best florists EVER! Tony made my wedding. The flowers were over the top, and I literally wouldn't have made it down the aisle without his assistance. (Dress malfunction!) I use them for everything I need in STL and will never go anywhere else.

This is the second wedding in 12 months that I have used Alex Waldbart. We could not be happier with the outcome at both weddings. I had previously worked with and was very satisfied by the flowers designed by Alex Waldbart, so it was the florist at the top of my list when it came time for my wedding. I was very excited when my wedding consultation was with Tony. He is extremely creative, enthusiastic, and professional. It was a pleasure discussing my "vision" with him for the wedding, and I trusted his ideas and advice. He was able to create gorgeous arrangements and bouquets for my wedding while still staying within my budget.
My groom and I--and our entire wedding party--were extremely impressed with Tony and his work on the Big Day. He was very professional and efficient to work with, and it was clear he knew what he was doing. The bouquets and arrangements were stunning, and they exceeded my expectations. One of my engaged bridesmaids asked for his information and will be setting up consultations with him for their weddings.
In addition, he was timely in his delivery and worked hard to seamlessly move the flowers from our ceremony to the reception space. It was an absolute pleasure working with Tony! I will continue to use Alex Waldbart for all my floral needs!

Alex Waldbart was the first and ONLY florist I met with when planning my New Year's Eve Wedding. Within seconds of meeting with Tony I knew he understood my vision and I wanted to work with him. All of my bridesmaids were wearing sparkling champagne gold dresses and he suggested absolutely stunning flowers with subtle and classy feather accents. My ladies LOVED their bouquets. My bouquet was STUNNING, and could not have been more perfect. On top of it all, we were on a tight budget and Tony made it happen, and made it happen absolutely beautifully. Tony was unbelievably prompt when responding to my questions and most importantly he was HONEST when I asked his opinion on details. I feel so, so fortunate to have found Alex Waldbart and Tony. There's a reason they are around and busy after 140 years in business. Go with them if you want class, kindness and perfection.

When we went for our initial consultation we were really impressed with Linda. The quality and the price of the flowers were great and we felt she was listening to our needs. But at the wedding some of the flowers were wrong. For example, my dad was supposed to have some white flowers to signify he was the father of the bride, but he did not have any white flowers. The flowers looked nice but the center pieces were a little smaller than what I was expecting for the money. My husband said that when she arrived to deliver the flowers she was not friendly and made things more hectic than needed. Overall, they weren't terrible but I would have liked to have someone who paid more attention to what we asked for.
