When my then-fiancée and I were looking around for photographers, we really fell in love with Alex’s keen eye and style – especially the silhouette and sunset shots. We found him through a recommendation from a friend of ours (he did her wedding as well). We saw their engagement shots and immediately knew that we had to book him for our special day. My wife is super photogenic, while I on the other hand…not so much. I hang out with a lot of professional photographers who do all sorts of different styles – landscape, portrait and events. So there was an extremely high bar set for us. I’ll get into the pricing further down. The booking process & consultation with Alex was super easy. We told him that we really weren’t sure of the background we wanted, ie, water, sunset, indoor, outdoor, etc. He showed us some of the shots that he’d taken before in different environments. We were floored & immediately knew we had found our guy. We purchased the package which included the engagement shoot. Paying was really easy through his website. The scheduling was made directly though him. Couldn’t have been any simpler. He gave us some ideas and we decided on a small outdoor shot in the east bay (no, not going to spoil his secret location – hire him to find out!) The shots came out incredible! As for our big day. The logistics called for my wife to be in Oakland, me in San Francisco & the wedding/reception in San Ramon. Without missing a beat, Alex and his team were able to capture the most beautiful wedding photos. We did a bunch of pre-wedding photos before the ceremony while we still had some sun. It was predicted to rain the day of the wedding, so we all knew timing was going to be critical. We explored the grounds for a little while and got some great shots of us and the wedding party. It was literally raining and hailing 15 minutes before the ceremony. Now for the business end of things. Alex’s prices are flat out the best out there. I’ve always had a strong belief that great wedding photos are priceless. You’re going a mile a minute the whole day, and honestly, who remembers it all? Sure, there are photographers that are cheaper, and there are some that are more expensive. In the end, what matters is the skill of the guy behind the camera – and you’re going to be hard pressed to find anyone that has the skill that Alex has at the price he charges. We got the shots back in less than 2 weeks! Our friends and family love them. His team was able to really encapsulate the whole day for us. Cut to the chase, Alex and his team are absolutely amazing. Every step of the way he was helpful and supportive. He consistently worked with us during the set up and during the actual shooting. He has a superb eye for what looks good (and thankfully what doesn’t!). I’ve already recommended him to my other friends to photograph their upcoming nuptials. Book him while you can!

Alex was the photographer/videgrapher for our wedding at the Martinelli Center in June 2017. Such a dope dude. He goes the extra mile for his clients and is super personable. Such a pleasure to work with. We were sent a sample of our wedding pics to post on social media and the pics are friggin awesomw me =). Looking forward to see our pics n vids in a few wks. Alex Win recently covered the wedding of my son and his fiancée in Menlo Park/Palo Alto. We are delighted with the images he took, both candid and posed. His photographs have an ethereal, romantic quality that really captured the beauty of the bride in her gown, the church interior, and the joyful smiles of onlookers at the ceremony and reception. He did a great job on the big day without calling undue attention to himself. Emails and billing were handled very professionally, too. Well done, Alex!

I recently hired Alex to take photos for our son's wedding in SF city Hall. Alex amazed me most was his professionalism and extreme efficiency. (He would answered my emails within an hour range, late at night or early in morning).His confidence and clarity in communication had helped to easy off my anxiety with the unknown. Most importantly his photos have helped to document my son's perfect wedding.

I don't even know where to start with my review of Alex. To sum it up, he was AMAZING! He provided our videography service at our wedding, and he did an outstanding job. Alex seemed to completely understood the vibe we were going for with the day, and meshed very well with our crazy bridal party and guests. He was very unobtrusive, yet captured amazing footage! I have seen a lot of wedding situations where videographers were front and center a lot, and a distraction. Alex was not like this at all, and I really was impressed by that. The video itself turned out perfectly. He had a final product for us very quickly. It was skillfully edited and had a very cinematic presentation.It was delivered to us in a professional blu-ray packaging that looked great. He also accommodated a last minute request by us to include full speeches in addition to the highlight video. It is really a great thing to be able to go back and re-live some big moments of the day that went by so quickly. The video also shows a lot of awesome things I missed on the day, such as the shenanigans of my groomsmen right behind me during the garter toss. My wife and I had so much fun watching the video, as well as our families and friends. We look forward to watching in years to come. I highly recommend a videographer for this reason, and I highly recommend Alex Win. You will be very happy, I guarantee it! Thank you Alex for everything you did for us!

Alex was fantastic!! Could not have asked for a better photographer. My husband and I really liked him upon our first meeting. I let him take the lead on everything since he has more experience than I do. He delivered a sneak peek of my wedding pictures within a couple of weeks and received a link for the gallery soon after that! We ordered an album and that came out superb! Really happy with his promptness in emails. I am really happy to have had the opportunity to have worked with Alex!

I found Alex Win Photography through a web search and I'm so glad I did! His work looked great online and his quote was within our price range/budget. On the phone, I felt very comfortable talking to him (like a friend) and immediately booked him before anyone else would. I realized through wedding plans how important it was to trust your vendors. Through the process, I was able to trust Alex and had not met him until rehearsal night. I'm glad he came by to scope out the church and to meet the wedding party. On our wedding day, we had a dilemma with a bridesmaid dress zipper malfunction and Alex seriously saved the day! He called a local bridal dress shop for us, just as were thinking about finding another dress. Within 15 minutes, our bridesmaid came waltzing in with her dress on and a brand-new zipper sewn in (thanks to J'aime Bridal). I knew, then, that Alex is awesome and more than just a photographer. He cares about not just his work, but the people he comes in contact with. My family, friends, new husband and I are so impressed by his work, too. He has an artistic eye and captured such special moments of our wedding day. I'll never tire looking at the photos he took. He and his staff were so easy to work with. They were pleasant and funny, and made the wedding party comfortable in front of the camera. Our experience with Alex was nothing short of amazing. If all of the wedding vendors could be like Alex, wedding planning would be so much easier! From the time we contacted him for the first time, Alex has always been patient and prompt in responding to all of our questions. He was very clear when explaining the scope of his services while being very flexible during the entire process. Our engagement session in SF was in itself an adventure he was glad to be part of. Having never taken photos like this before, he made us feel comfortable while having fun; we were also able to get to know each other and that gave us a huge relief for the wedding day. He understood how eager we were to see our pictures and surprised us with amazing teasers while he worked on getting all our engagement pictures ready. He also worked with us on the delivery timing so we could use some of them for our "save the date." He kept in touch with us throughout and checked in to see what he could do for the wedding day. Everything we asked, they were done. On our wedding day, Alex and his team arrived early and super energized, with huge smiles. By then, we were super comfortable with him and were very pleased to meet his team who were just as kind and accommodating as Alex. They made our wedding night enjoyable and were always checking on how they could make us enjoy our wedding. We received our final pictures and videos in a timely manner and are so happy with the quality and the memories they were able to capture. We will be forever grateful to Alex and his team for capturing and being part of these special times in our lives.

We met up in San Francisco and had the best photo shoot with Alex and Albert. They were professional, fun and made us feel like we were all best friends! I told Alex that I really wanted to use the pictures for save the date cards, so he went out of his way to get them to us the next day!! We could not be happier! :) Thank you again guys!
