I have been passionate about music for as long as I can remember. I started writing songs and playing the guitar when I was just 12 years old, which led me to a career in music therapy. I worked with people with autism, severe trauma, abuse, and neglect, helping them navigate how to use music as a coping skill. In 2014, I was honored to win Breck’s Got Talent, an annual competition hosted in Breckenridge, Colorado during Ullr Fest. Recently, I made the decision to pursue my music career full time. I have played hundreds of events and weddings and have more than 500 songs in my repertoire.

where to even begin with Alexa... what a joy and beautiful soul she is. we were fortunate enough to be the first couple to hire her new band "The Hummingbird and the Spoon" last year and we are SO happy we did. when you think of a small wedding and an acoustic set, i know my first thought was not necessarily a GIANT dance party, but that's exactly what we had. BUT Alexa also knows my love for Taylor Swift knows no bounds and so she had the band learn at least 5 songs to bring more joy to my day and honestly it was just perfect. We had so much fun working with Alexa over the last year and so happy to have had her and the rest of the band as a part of our day.

Alexa was absolutely amazing. Not only is she so, so talented, but she is also such a friendly and warm person! She sang beautifully for our small wedding at Red Rocks and we were all so impressed! Thank you so much for making our wedding perfect, Alexa!

We hired Alexa and her small band to play our post-elopment wedding celebration on the rooftop of Hey Kiddo and it was incredible! They played music that met the vibe of the guests and evening, turning it up a bit with some much beloved Macklemore, which got the whole group dancing! She was extremely responsive and took the time pre-event to understand the mood we wanted to set, the type of music we wanted to enjoy and any special songs/artists we wanted to hear. I couldn’t recommend her and her small band (drummer and filler accompanied her on guitar) more! Will use her again absolutely!

My husband and I agree that hiring Alexa to sing at our wedding was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. She is incredibly talented, and spent lots of time with us on the phone planning out the music aspect of our ceremony and reception leading up to the event. She answered the zillion questions I had quickly, and her joyful and sweet demeanor made her so insanely easy to work with. She has a huge array of songs to choose from which will appeal to almost anyone's style of music. She also learned a song I requested, and her version of turned out to be beautiful.
I was so worried about having a dull reception, but Alexa and her partner knocked it out of the park - she even rolled with it when a couple of my friends wanted to get up there and sing as well. ALL of our friends and family raved over her - she is hands down incredible and I would encourage anyone who is considering her to hire her IMMEDIATELY. We are so thankful to have found her on the knot!

Alexa is simply the best human and an amazingly talented musician! I was worried that having only two musicians at our wedding wouldn't create the upbeat atmosphere we wanted but Alexa and her partner absolutely brought the party! She was the perfect fit for our wedding of 50 people. Highly recommend booking Alexa for your wedding or event!

Alexa was so prefect for our wedding! Coordinating with her and telling her everything we were looking for our wedding music was a breeze. She made the whole experience smooth and easy from start to finish. She has a large list of songs to choose from and even has the option to request a song if it is not already on her song list. On the wedding day she played during the ceremony and cocktail hour and the songs were beautiful. All of our guest loved her! We would definitely work with Alex again if we were to do it all over again!

We hired Alexa to sing at our wedding, specifically during the ceremony and our first dance songs. She was extremely professional and friendly. She has a huge song list and a variety of genres she can perform. Alexa made it really easy and we were so happy with how the music turned out. It was the perfect extra touch we wanted.

Alexa is a true gem and was SO FUN to work with. She performed for our ceremony and reception and kept the party going! There was even spontaneous karaoke during the reception, she just flowed with the vibes and made the whole day come together.

My partner and I both are introverted at events like weddings usually and have pretty high anxiety, but Alexa was funny and engaging and just overall very good at her job, and went above and beyond the job description for sure! She brought a lot of good music and humor to the night, and definitely stands apart from the musicians at previous weddings I have been to!

I would rehire Alexa over and over again! She is unbelievably talented and flexible on what she can sing. She was so personable and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. We had a ceremony & reception in two locations and she was willing to travel to both & very quickly at that to beat the guests over! I heard nothing but amazing things while she was there and after she left on how much our guests liked her. She was engaging with them, laughing with them. Started a singalong. Someone even told me they wished they could bottle her up and keep her forever because of how radiant, amazing and positive she was all day. And did I mention how good of a singer she was?

I could not have better things to say about Alexa. She was one of the first vendors we hired for our wedding in Evergreen, CO. Her humor, warmth and kindness were evident in our first video call with her. We hired Alexa for the full day which included ceremony, cocktail and reception music. She also did introductions and made announcements.
We will never forget the beautiful mother/son song she wrote after we were having trouble finding one for my husband and MIL. She truly surpassed all expectations and all our guests loved the live music.

After going through the out of body experience of getting married in the forest in a rain storm and then blissfully climbing through the woods barefoot in a gown, the first thing we heard upon entering our venue to sign our marriage license was Alexa’s soaringly beautiful voice. We got to know Alexa as the sister of one of the owners of our beautiful venue Juniper Mountain House when they suggested we reach out to her to MC our evening. Our venue is unique in that they can’t accomodate DJs, and Alexa was just the solution to that! Not only does she have a voice that will slay you in the best way and a set list that will get the people dancing, but she’s funny and charismatic and perfectly kept the evening moving and the people happy. We’ll be forever grateful that she shaped and led our perfect day, and will be fans of hers for life!

We are obsessed with Alexa. So many guests at our wedding raved about her and the four piece band she put together for our reception. Alexa learned two new songs for us and sang one while we all walked down the aisle, which totally made me cry. She knows how to read a crowd and knows exactly when to slow things down or speed things up to increase the energy. I am so glad we booked Alexa for our wedding and my only regret is that our party didn't go longer so we could keep enjoying her music. Alexa is prompt, professional, and just overall so talented. If you're looking for someone who can rock literally any style or genre of music, you've found her! Thank you Alexa for making our day perfect.
