The photographer who came, was not Alexa, but an associate who was sweet, down to earth, and very cool and fun to be around. She made us feel comfortable from the second we met her...
. However- we felt that she did not prioritize us enough as a couple throughout the evening and had terribly angled shots of us. Some photos, some of our guests' eyes were closed which only means she did not take multiples in one standing shot, or she did not send forward all the pics that were taken. We were extremely disappointed by the lack of decor shots she took as well. We had a family display of old wedding photos and they were taken with a full glare in the frames, you can't even see who was in them. We understand the lighting in the room was a bit dark for our rehearsal, but as a photographer you have to know which settings on your camera will get the closest to that color. Every photo of me was blown out, I looked extremely pale, as did my now Husband and every single person in the photos. We opened the email a week after our event, and immediately I started crying to my husband that we would not post any of them. I personally color corrected the only salvageable 10 we liked, and edited them heavily in order to make a post on our Instagram.
We showed several photos to our friends and family and they agreed that they were not share worthy and pointed out how terrible everyone looked collectively.
When I emailed private feedback to this vendor, she was unwilling to do anything for us, and 'stood by' her associates work and what we delivered. As a lover of photography myself, I am unsure how they stand by what they delivered to us. There were more photos by our content creator than there was from the photographer, and so many group shots were missed entirely.
I would not recommend their team. We are truly so disappointed.
*We would like to add the bad photos for proof, but we are embarrassed for ourselves, and our friends and family and do not want it living on the internet.*
We cannot recommend Alexa Lynn Photography enough! Alexa photographed both our engagement session and our wedding, and she was absolutely incredible from start to finish.
From the ...
very beginning, Alexa was organized, kind, patient, and incredibly talented. Our engagement session was especially meaningful to us because we chose to have it on a golf course, since golfing is something my husband and I love to do together. Alexa completely embraced the idea and was more than willing to ride around the course in the golf carts with us, capturing photos along the way. She went above and beyond to make the session feel personal to us rather than just a typical engagement shoot, and we had so much fun doing it.
My husband and I aren't naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but Alexa made us feel completely at ease. She gave us just the right amount of direction while still allowing us to be ourselves, and somehow made the entire experience feel fun and effortless.
On our wedding day, Alexa brought a second photographer, Madison, and she was wonderful as well. Both were friendly, professional, and captured so many beautiful moments throughout the day. The two of them worked seamlessly together, and we truly felt like every important moment was being captured.
One of the things that impressed us most was how amazing Alexa was with the children in our bridal party. We had eight children ranging from just 3 months old to 8 years old! Even with the best timeline, there were unexpected naps, snack breaks, tears, and all of the little things that come with having so many young children involved in a wedding. Alexa handled every situation with so much patience and grace. Both she and Madison were incredibly flexible and easily pivoted throughout the day to work around the kids' needs, all while making sure we still got every photo we wanted. That meant so much to us.
And, of course, the photos themselves are absolutely beautiful. Alexa has such a gift for capturing genuine emotion, natural moments, and all of the joy of the day. Looking through our gallery brought us right back to those moments, and we are so grateful to have our wedding memories preserved so beautifully.
If you're looking for a photographer who is talented, organized, calm under pressure, incredibly patient, and genuinely a joy to have around on your wedding day, Alexa is the one. We would choose her again in a heartbeat!
We are so grateful to have had Alexa capture our day!! She was amazing during planning, our engagement shoot, and the wedding day. She helped us plan our day of schedule to ensure ...
that we could get all of the photos that we wanted. And her and her second shooter were a delight to have with us on our wedding day - they were calm, professional, and so organized. They helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We recently received our full gallery and are in love with the photos! Would highly recommend Alexa!!

mount / super organized communication leading up to the big day, she was so easy to work with! She made everyone on the day of feel at ease and has such a creative eye for unique photos and details. Out pictured are beautiful!!! Highly recommend her to anyone.
Alexa is the BEST! Seriously, look no further. She’s the kindest, most patient and wonderful photographer, with an eye for detail and a creativity that resulted in some amazing spo...
ntaneous pics day of our wedding. We loved that she encourages an engagement shoot before the wedding because it familiarized us with her posing cues and gave us a chance to get to know her before our big day. She’s got the personal touch: she genuinely cares deeply about capturing the important moments for you and we felt so supported at every step leading up to and throughout the wedding.
We absolutely loved having Alexa and her assistant Madison as our wedding day photographers! They made sure my husband and I were comfortable all day, and were very polite, flexibl...
e, and calm throughout our wedding day which is exactly what we needed. Alexa made sure we were able to capture the shots on our Love List, and we even had a ~drone moment~ outside which was definitely unique and something we are so happy we did. Overall, I would 10000% recommend Alexa Lynn Photography for not only your wedding day, but for any type of special moments you would love to have beautifully captured forever!
P.S. I also used Shower Hour for my bridal shower and immediately felt comfortable knowing these fabulous ladies would be capturing my wedding day a month later.
We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding! From the very beginning, she was incredibly easy to book, communicate with, and work with throughout the entire p...
lanning process. Her contract and pricing were also very reasonable, especially for the quality and experience she provides.
My husband and I are definitely not the type of people who naturally know how to pose for photos, but she completely took care of everything and guided us all day long. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and kept everything running smoothly by staying on top of timing, family photos, and the bridal party throughout the day.
Her personality, along with her second shooter’s, was so uplifting, positive, calming, and fun to be around. They truly felt like such a supportive part of our wedding day and made the entire experience feel easy and natural. They captured every single detail perfectly, and our sneak peeks came back so quickly — we were honestly blown away by how beautiful they turned out.
She captured our Jersey Shore wedding exactly how I envisioned it — timeless, fun, emotional, and full of every special moment. We are beyond grateful for how perfectly she documented the best day of our lives!
Came across @alexa.lynn.photo on Instagram while trying to find our wedding photographer! Her work was exactly what we were looking for. We booked her for our wedding after a call ...
with her and had two photo shoots with her since (a mini and a full engagement)… the photos came out excellent. We were even more impressed by her work on our wedding day in July! I cannot say enough good things about Alexa! She is such a talented and creative photographer, but she is also really great at running a photo shoot that feels light and fun. We always leave saying what a great time we had with her. And the photos always come out STUNNING!!! I can’t wait to use her again in the future for family portraits!! I highly recommend her for any photographing needs.
My husband and I are not the least bit photogenic and not at all comfortable in front of a camera, but Alexa is not just a photographer she was a magician! She was able to capture ...
stunning photos of our special day. She provided great instruction and made the whole process flawless. There was a quick turn around for production and a month later I find myself looking back on the photos at least once a day. It was fate running into her on the month back in July when we were in a crunch to find a photographer. She was busy that entire week with prior sessions and by luck, the only day available that week was our wedding day. We are so grateful for her and would love to work with her again!
Would highly recommend! My fiancé and I live in Bernardsville and were looking for somewhere nearby to take our engagement photos. I stumbled upon Alexa's gorgeous Cross Estate Gar...
dens shoots and knew we had to have her capture our engagement there. We absolutely loved working with Alexa for our engagement shoot. She made us feel comfortable from the very first moment. She has a sweet, encouraging energy that made everything feel natural and fun. We are not used to being in front of the camera, but she guided us so effortlessly that the whole experience felt easy. We really warmed up by the end of the session.
We absolutely adore the photos. Every photo felt intentional without looking overly posed. We feel so lucky to have had her document such a special chapter for us and look forward to working with her again for future potraits. We will be having an intimate destination wedding in St. Lucia otherwise we would have without question booked her for our wedding. If you're considering Alexa for your own wedding or engagement, just know you're in amazing hands.
Alexa is the best!! My husband and I reached out to Alexa to do an anniversary shoot after experiencing her shoot my friend’s wedding a few weeks prior. On both occasions she was ...
very focused on all of the details (body position, hair, feet, fingers!!) which was so important to me. She made our session feel so comfortable both with her and posing for photos.
She helped in recommending a shoot location that was perfect for us after sharing what we wanted out of the photos, and she was quick to respond. Her photos have a certain style with soft lighting, are so natural and she’s great at capturing those perfect moments.
We highly recommend Alexa and cannot wait to do more shoots with her in the future!
Alexa is the most incredible photographer! We adored how she captured our wedding day. Our engagement photos were also lovely, and helped us get familiar with Alexa's style of dire...
cting photos- which is so comfortable, positive, and organized, and helped capture all of our happiness in a natural, relaxed way, that was so beautiful!
She went above and beyond in every aspect of our wedding day. She truly captured every big and small moment so beautifully and the photos truly reflect the love and joy we felt on our big day. Every photo is so beautiful and high quality, when we went through our photos I hearted over 900 of them!!!
It's amazing to feel like your day is perfectly captured and Alexa does just that. We would recommend Alexa to anyone without hesitation! She was nothing short of fantastic. Thank you Alexa!!
I highly recommend Alexa for any occasion! She was warm, pleasant, responsive, and punctual, and she truly has an incredible eye and passion for her craft. From the very beginning,...
Alexa was flexible and attentive, working with us to make sure our vision for our small, 50-person wedding was brought to life. On the day itself, she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, capturing genuine moments with ease. She also was open to suggestions and ideas that we had in terms of poses. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and the beautiful photos we now get to cherish forever! You will hands down get stunning pictures if you book her for any occasion.
Alexa was the most incredible photographer for our wedding last summer! From the first time we met, at our engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable with her bubbly and kin...
d personality. Through the wedding planning process, she stayed in constant contact with us and answered all of my questions, to ensure all of our other vendors were on the same page. On the wedding day, she arrived early and very prepared. She even had an additional assistant, along with her second photographer; who took photos, helped adjust my train/veil/dress, and helped create an Instagram wedding reel. Throughout the whole day, she helped us stay ahead of schedule while ensuring the highest quality photographs with a diversity of scenery, groups of people, and angles. Not only did she arrive early, but she stayed past her finish time to retrieve the perfect sparkler exit photos. We can't rave enough about our wedding photos. The quality is impeccable; it's everything we could have ever dreamed of. Having Alexa photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we've ever made!!!

h photo truly reflects the love and joy we felt. Alexa was so easy to work with, bringing our vision to life and even adding her own artistic touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and dedicated photographer!
We had such an amazing experience with Alexa from start to finish. From our first meeting, to the engagement shoot all the way up to the wedding was so great. Alexa even sent us a ...
care package of cookies with our wedding date over the winter. She is so genuine and thoughtful and we couldn't thank her and her team enough for all their support and work. The day of our wedding it was absolutely pouring. Despite that, Alexa and her team were energetic excited and spent a ton of time standing in the rain to get shots of our wedding party under umbrellas. The engagement photos, along with the sneak peak pictures we received right away have been so beautiful and we can't wait to see the rest! I couldn't recommend Alexa and her team enough!!
Alexa and her team are the absolute best. From her kindhearted nature to her expertise behind the camera, Alexa checked all the boxes. From day 1, we could tell that we made the ...
right choice. She was extremely helpful in finding a gorgeous location for our engagement shoot that felt like “us”, and her photos were top notch and blew us away! Alexa also included not one, but TWO small, personalized, thoughtful and delicious treats throughout our engagement. She was beyond helpful in organizing shot lists and wedding timelines for our big day, and helped us curate the perfect photography package for us. Alexa is easy to get along with and helps with any questions you may have (we had a lot and she answered them all with grace and in a timely manor). On our wedding day, Alexa and her team ensured we stayed on track with all of our photos, and made sure our timeline did not get delayed. She even helped my wife and I surprise each other with gifts during our private vows. Unbeknownst to each of us, we both independently reached out to plan photos of these special moments. Alexa helped us coordinate giving our gifts at the same time, without hinting to either of us that she was doing that! She truly did help make a special moment that much better. Alexa came highly recommended from our good friends, who also used her for their wedding photography and have since gone back to her for family portraits. We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else. Her photos are amazing, and we wouldn’t have wanted our special day caught any other way. Professional, friendly, genuine, and a truly skilled photographer, you can’t ask for more!

r our engagement shoot as well as our wedding day. My husband and I are a bit shy when it comes to taking photos, but Alexa made us feel so comfortable each time and made everything feel super effortless. Alexa is also incredibly detail oriented and she made our experience from beginning to end SO enjoyable. Also - Alexa puts in the work and is dedicated to make sure sneak peek photos are available shortly after a shoot, which is so amazing! We highly recommend Alexa Lynn Photography to capture moments of any event!
We are so happy with our photos and the experience! Prior to the wedding, Alexa checked in with us to confirm the time and place, and she arrived on time. When it was time to take ...
pictures after the ceremony, she was enthusiastic and encouraging, and made us and our family very comfortable! We had so much fun taking pictures with her! We got our photos back well before the expected time frame, and some sneak peaks beforehand. The photos came out beautifully and there was such a large collection of different pictures. Now every time we look at them we feel like we are reliving each and every moment of our wedding day. We could not be happier, and I know we will cherish these photos for a lifetime!

ion we found out our Wedding day would be her Birthday! Alexa is extremely organized and professional. She is easy going and fun to work with. From our engagement shoot on the beach on a freezing cold November Saturday to a beautiful 80 degree October Wedding Day working with Alexa was truly great every step of the way. I cannot recommend her enough.

sk for us as we are not super comfortable in front of the camera but from the moment we met Alexa, she made us feel at ease, gave helpful pointers, and was extremely patient with us.
Throughout the entire planning process, Alexa was responsive to our questions, gave thoughtful recommendations, and was flexible to our requests. On the wedding day, Alexa and her team had such great energy and were very helpful in keeping us on time - we received quite a few comments from family about how lovely they were to work with. We are so grateful for Alexa's support, flexibility, patience, and expertise. Her work speaks for itself and we cannot say enough good things about what a pleasure she is to work with. Hire her for your wedding! You will not regret it.

he day, she sent the most helpful welcome packet and was always available by phone or email for logistical questions. She has great attention to detail and helped me create my shot list so not a single photo was missed. She eased any nerves on the day, worked well under pressure, and made everyone feel comfortable. My reception venue was on the darker side but with her editing style she made all of the colors pop. We are obsessed with our photos and picking Alexa for our engagement and wedding photos was one of the best decisions we made. The wedding album she created is absolutely gorgeous and worked with me on multiple versions so that we received a final product that we will enjoy for years. We cannot recommend her strongly enough!

with. She's extremely organized and responsive to questions and ideas. Overall, she was excellent in the run-up to our big day. Then, of course, when the day arrived, she and her team were awesome. We absolutely love our photos; Alexa and her team kept us organized getting all the shots we wanted and also found unique ones we didn't know would be awesome. I'll also add that Alexa is extremely poised under pressure; on your big day when there may be a lot of things to worry about you will not need to worry about Alexa and her team. Their calming presence was much appreciated; they rolled with the punches and did an amazing job.
Overall, Alexa is an exceptional photographer and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We strongly, strongly recommend hiring her.
Anybody who reviews Alexa’s portfolio of work can tell she’s an incredibly talented artist, but what you can’t see is how remarkable the person behind the camera is. From our first...
interaction through to post-production, Alexa has been incredibly generous with her time. She is a fantastic communicator, incredibly organized, and has repeatedly gone above and beyond to show that we are not just clients, but friends. She is an expert at making her subjects feel comfortable, valued, and seen through her friendly and endearing demeanor.
At no point have we felt like we were “just another client” for a large company who boasts about doing 18 events a week. Rather, we have witnessed the incredible dedication, commitment, attention to detail, and mastery of craft that only a small business or entrepreneur can provide.
I believe Alexa epitomizes the saying “there are no strangers, only friends you haven’t met yet.” If you hire Alexa, the worst that can happen is that you have amazing photos of your event to cherish for a lifetime. The best that can happen is that you have a life long friend.
Alexa has been super thoughtful and organized throughout the whole process! She is so detail oriented from the very start from when we first booked her, and throughout the wedding....
Once we booked her she was kind enough to send us a gift box with some goodies and a note which we thought was a nice touch. Her and her team were punctual, flexible and kind the day of. They truly were so fun to be around and made our day extra amazing! We’ve just received our sneak peeks and my husband and I are beyond excited to see all the final photos!

nd answered all of the questions I had (which were a lot). The day of our engagement photos in Asbury Park it was about 100 degrees outside and she was such a good sport about making sure we got all of the pictures in the different locations we wanted. She has an amazing ability to capture nature light in her photos. The pictures came out so well that it was hard for us to narrow down one photo for our save the date. The day of our wedding turned out to be very rainy and grey outside. Alexa used that to her advantage to get beautiful photos with clear umbrella's outside while the rain started to clear up. She was also super patient with us as my fiancé became upset with the venue taking too long to get the cocktail hour started. She never got annoyed and pushed right through to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted. I recommend her highly and look forward to using her again in the future.

tant check ins and reassurances when the weather changed several times in the course of the week. Alexa was always prepared, kind and extremely efficient. Alexa took wonderful shots throughout the day, made everyone feel at ease even my spouse who hates taking photos. We spent the day enjoying every minute and thanks to Alexa we got the photos to prove it. Alexa made sure to always include everything we asked as well as her personal touches that made her the photographer I knew I wanted at my wedding. Her use of natural light and ability to capture intimate moments is the reason we knew she was the best choice. I can't say enough things about Alexa because she is just that amazing. Look at the photos her work speaks for themselves. Looking forward to continue working with Alexa in the future!!!

After receiving my bridal shower photos ( legit like 5 days after my event in october 2022) i was so impressed i hired her as an additional photographer for my wedding day in january 2023 because her photos came out so perfect. SHE ALSO DOES VINTAGE PHOTOS!! ( found this out after my bridal shower and so excited to have her shoot these at my wedding) For those brides who want something special. Alexa is so kind and accommodating and even stayed later than asked for at my bridal shower. HIRE HER YOU WONT REGRET IT!!
