Alex is truly incredible. We were running 40 min late to the venue because of hair and make up being late, and he got us through pics so quickly and efficiently. He knows exactly what he is doing and it shows! Everyone mentioned how great he was and that he was on top of his game the whole night! We were also able to fit in a second shooter within our budget and he worked with us to figure out the best timeline and plan. He is kind and funny and you will feel 100% at ease with him. We have heard so many horror stories about wedding photographers and Alex is beyond dependable and trustworthy! He also helped us find an amazing videographer team as well! We are so thankful we had him as our photographer on our most important day!

We haven’t received our pictures yet (our wedding was only a few days ago) but I feel so compelled to write this review and to commend Alex and his team. Alex has a true talent in reading the room and knowing exactly how to make everyone feel instantly comfortable. It felt like we had known him for years and that he was an invited guest in our party who fit right in! He has amazing energy and sets such a positive tone. Alex is phenomenal! For someone like myself who gets very nervous and awkward in front of the camera, Alex makes it so easy and fun. He somehow manages to be everywhere at once to capture all the perfect moments, and his finished photos are stunning. He also jumped up to put my veil back on for me when it fell off during my ceremony, so he’s a real pal too!

My husband and I first saw Alex’s work at our venue when touring at big sky barn a year ago. We almost skimmed in that area on our budget until we told ourselves we don’t want to spend the rest of our lives in our home not absolutely loving our wedding photos, it wasn’t negotiable. We went for good high quality work and then I added bridal photos. I do NOT regret booking him or paying the money he is worth every single dollar. My bridals made me cry. It poured down rain that day and stormed and he took that away for me with his personality and how much fun he is. He works his butt off during the shoot and you won’t miss a shot. I’ve never felt so beautiful. I haven’t gotten back my wedding photos yet but they will be just as amazing if not better. My wedding party and family said how much fun he was and how hard he was working! If I could give him 100 stars review I would! I can’t brag enough on him! Wow

ALEX IS THE BEST PERSON EVER! My wife and I had never gotten professional photos taken of us, so being the center of attention to a camera was going to be awkward to us. Alex made us feel super comfortable around a camera. He made us keep laughing and feel confident in ourselves. We had only met with him twice before our wedding and I felt like he was just one of our friends. He is really focused on the couple the whole night and is willing to do whatever whenever you need it the whole night! He was a blast to work with and I will recommend him everywhere I go for any wedding. I wish I could get married again just so I can have him around again. LOL! Alex is not only a phenomenal photographer but was also a big part of what made our wedding day move so smoothly! He was always letting us know when things were coming up and where we needed to be. Alex is personable and is someone that you enjoy working with. He was invisible at our wedding. He blended in with the guests as he seamlessly took photos of us and our friends and family. He even jumped in with the dancing to get some live action photos. They are amazing. I was naturally pretty nervous on our wedding day, and Alex always had a calm and warm presence. He somehow faded into the background as Kyle and I had our first look. To be honest, I forgot that he was there until we saw the pictures again. To top it all off, my husband and I ordered a wedding album, but shortly after our wedding we moved to Spain before we could fulfill the order. Two and a half years later, when we were back in the United States, I reached out to Alex to see if we could still get our album. He had all of our data saved and responded immediately. I would recommend Alex to anyone.

To say Alex is an incredible photographer is an understatement. Our engagement and wedding pictures turned out stunning but he's more than just amazing photography. Before I booked, I looked over tons of different photographers work and their prices from those suggested on The Knot, and those I met at a Bridal Extravaganza. I did not want to book without meeting Alex first ( even though he was my first pick after all my research). I met up with him at Starbucks with my now husband and mom. He is so friendly and even made my husband feel at ease during pictures (which is a huge deal because previously taking pictures of him with other photographers- he looked so awkward). Alex is not a typical vendor. He becomes like your best friend. I have pictures that were taken at the wedding with him dancing the tootsie roll next to me. When I was stressing during wedding planning, he always said something that would make me laugh and feel at ease. This was not only over phone conversation though. I have so many pictures taken during my engagements and my wedding where I am genuinely smiling and laughing. I know it's because he said or did something really funny just before that-to get the shot. I could seriously go on and on about him and how incredible working with him was. So I was between 3 other photographers before I met Alex. I was at the overwhelming bridal extravaganza with all of my bridesmaids and there Alex was, dancing by himself at his booth, which naturally enticed us to come over. Immediately he made us all laugh, we looked at some of his amazing pictures in his album, and my MOH looked at me & said "I think you just found your photographer!". Forgot about the rest of the photographers, booked him that next week and so happy we did! The photographer was hands down the most nerve racking decision of the wedding process because it's so hard to know how things will turn out and it's so important to the wedding. We got lucky with Alex. His pricing is extremely reasonable for what you get! He & his assistant came 2 hours before the ceremony and stayed until the very end! They are geniuses with lighting - that and the candid moments that he captured were definitely our favorite aspect of the photos! He gives you access to ALL of the pictures fully edited and you can do anything with them! My wedding party instantly connected with him & his assistant and it made it sooo much less awkward when taking photos. It's literally like they were just hanging out with us and he continuously cracked everyone up! He is able to take some amazing candid photos and action shots of you and your guests because he immerses himself into the celebration and is so enjoyable to be around! One of my bridesmaids has already booked him for her wedding, and I'm sure everyone else will too once it's time for their big day! Reserve him today, you're going to be sooo happy you did! When budgeting for our wedding we knew that we wanted to spend the most money on photography to really capture our day and have photos that would last a lifetime. I met Alex at the Bridal Extravaganza and was instantly drawn to his dynamic personality and great portfolio. He had some beautiful shots of weddings similar to my own style. Before I start gushing about how awesome he is, let me give you some AMAZING facts about how Alex does business: 1) Unlimited hours during wedding - his price doesn't only include a four hour window with additional costs for every hour afterward. You get to keep him for the whole wedding! Returning him is optional... kidding! Although seriously, I never want to do ANY photography without him. It's a shame he only does weddings. 2) You get EVERY SINGLE picture he takes at the wedding, ALL edited. I had over 600 photos at mine. 3) He is great at putting camera shy people at ease - my husband usually hates photos of himself and he loves all of our wedding photos. 4) His price included an additional person to do lighting and help with photos. All of our guests at the wedding loved Alex and were amazed at how he captured everything. He was everywhere all at once; he danced on the dance floor with me, captured some of our guests having special moments of their own, caught every detail of our wedding and you never even noticed him doing it. Alex is a dream come true to a bride on a budget. He overshadows any other photographer with his eye for detail, creative thinking, and above and beyond quality. I was so defeated after attending the Extravaganza and finding photographers that were way over my budget and only available for four hours! Alex is the best and one of the only vendors I got out of that whole day! Alex is organized at what he does so that taking pictures after the wedding was efficient and allowed us plenty of time to get to our party! He was also incredibly patient as we had to keep rounding up my bridal party as they snuck away for drinks! I highly recommend his monkey booth, photo booth. Our guests had a blast in it and I loved how it was open so that you could fit as many people as you wanted! This photographer is a steal and I sincerely hope he continues to make wedding dreams come true.

We first met Alex for our engagement photos, and wanted to do a test run with him before we officially booked our wedding with him. As soon as our shoot was over, we booked him on the spot for our wedding because he was SO MUCH FUN to work with, and we HAD to have him for our date! We hadn't seen our photos back yet, but we knew he was a perfect match for us. We got our engagements back so fast, and the only hard part was narrowing down our favorite to only one to use on the save the dates! He also gave us a whole wedding of photos he shot at our wedding venue previously to check out. Next, I saw Alex for my bridal portraits only 3 days before my wedding (we live in a different state and that was the earliest we could get here for the wedding). We had a BLAST! He makes you ACTUALLY laugh because he is HILARIOUS, and catches your real smiles, and will get a ton of photos of you that you didn't even see him take. He's like a NINJA energizer bunny! He's everywhere at once, and it's like he sees everything in slow motion and can catch you at just the right moment with the perfect lighting! We never had to wait around and wonder what poses to do, he had me going non stop with tons of different poses and locations. At the end of our shoot, I asked him (since it was so close to the wedding) if he could just pick one bridal pic that didn't need much work to pick for the reception table, and instead, he edited over 100 photos, and gave me them ALL to choose from in less than 48 hours! I couldn't believe how hard he worked, he even let me pick 6 photos that he printed out and brought for me to set out at the wedding!! The bridal photos were TO DIE FOR! Everyone I showed them to cried like a baby, they are GORGEOUS! Then for our wedding!! I had already worked with Alex twice, so I had no worries that he was gonna have everything taken care of. I couldn't wait for all my friends and family to meet him, because honestly he was my favorite part of the wedding and I knew they would all LOVE him. He was part of the party, taking selfies with me and dancing (and snapping of course) the night away like a long lost BFF! I saw him going all over the place, but at the same time I wasn't even aware he was taking photos of us. When we left the reception in our getaway car, I later found out Alex was in the back seat of the car taking photos of us before we drove away and we didn't even notice!! He's amazing!! My entire family was in love with him, he is an amazing person, not just an amazing photographer. The next day they were all ranting and raving about how fun and energetic he was! We can not wait to see all the amazing photos he comes up with from our wedding!! You can really put your trust in him to capture all the emotions of your special day and everything else you'll want to see later, and not have to worry about a thing! We also booked his photobooth and the photos came out GORGEOUS. He has a super high quality camera and perfect lighting in an adorable open concept booth, with a ton of fun props. He had all our photobooth pics online the morning after the wedding, and everyone was having so much fun in all their photos!! The booth printed doubles of all the photo strips, and you can even text them to yourself or post on facebook right from the booth. We love you so much Alex, we lucked out BIG TIME meeting you. Alex is wonderful at what he does. I could not have had a better photographer! He did our wedding and engagement pictures and his enthusiasm is so much fun to work with. He truly cares about his clients, even asking if there are any Pinterest shots that I wanted!! He does an amazing job bringing out colors and was able to take advantage of the storm that occurred on my wedding night by using the light to reflect off the rain. I would recommend him to anyone!

We used Alex to photograph our daughter's engagement and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier! Alex was fun, upbeat, creative, and was a joy to work with...the photos are truly something to treasure. He caught the personality of the bride and groom and the whole wedding party perfectly and he put everyone at ease! In addition to the wedding Alex did my bridal shoot and it was phenomenal; he was able to direct me so well and have such great ideas that the pictures looked absolutely beautiful to the point everyone said it needed to be on a bridal magazine :) At the wedding he came on time with an assistance and made everything so simple, flawless and non-stressful. I would highly suggest him as he is not only great and loves what he does, but he energy is something you don't normally see in a photographer. It is constantly up and he is always smiling and ready to have a good time and capture those candid moments that you thought were just shared between you and your husband. :)

We loved Alex! He was a blast during our engagement, bridal and wedding pictures, and he took incredible photos! He genuinely has a great heart, which shows in his photography, and his personality just makes him adorable! He was very, very professional, but at the same time, very PERSONAL. He was also very open to our suggestions, jumping at the opportunity, but also guiding us to get the best picture. And when you trust him, you will not be disappointed! I would recommend him to anybody in a heartbeat! I know I couldn't have asked for a better photographer in my special day, and will have memories that will last us forever! And one day, we'll be able to say "Oh, yeah, that's an 'Alexander Cross'" ;)

Personable, professional and detailed are all the qualities Alex exhibits. My husband really liked Alex and he doesn't like to take pictures. The owner of my venue was so impressed at how good he is she started using him as a referral for other clients using her facility. My guests at my wedding loved how he was so personable with them. Anytime he would see someone take pictures with their phone he would hurry and snap some shots as well! I have really beautiful pictures from both our engagement & wedding. And the price was very reasonable. Photographer was the most important vendor to me so it took me a while to book someone. I went with Alex because his pictures were pretty and he was reasonably priced.

I cannot say enough about Alex! He is so easy-going and made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera! His work is amazing and everything is completed in a timely manner. Everyone seemed to get along great with him at the wedding and my groom was very impressed with him as well! We took our engagement photos, bridals, and ceremony/reception photos through Alex and the whole family couldn't be more pleased! All of my photos are BEAUTIFUL-- it is hard to pick out only a few to print! :)
