joy to be around throughout the entire process. His calm and approachable nature made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is no small feat when you're dealing with an excited wedding party and guests.
He is the type of photographer who would do anything to get the best shot - even basically doing the splits to get the perfect angle. We all fed off of each other’s energy, and he vibed with our group so well - it felt like having a long time friend there taking pictures, which allowed us to take wonderful casual and candid shots.
Not only did he make the experience fun, but he also had an incredible ability to capture the most beautiful moments without anyone even noticing he was there. He truly blended into the background while still getting the best possible shots, and the final photographs exceeded all of our expectations. Every image captured the essence of our special day perfectly, from the big moments to the small, candid ones that we'll cherish forever.
A special shout-out also goes to Jess, the assistant photographer, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was professional, friendly, and a great help throughout the day. Her support allowed for even more stunning angles and moments to be captured, and we’re so grateful for her contribution to making our photos even more memorable.

Our first engagement shoot lasted approximately four minutes because in true Houston fashion, it started pouring rain. Alex did not think twice about giving up his only free weekend so we would be able to reschedule and have more engagement picture options for our save the date.

I do NOT regret booking him or paying the money he is worth every single dollar. My bridals made me cry. He was invisible at our wedding. He blended in with the guests as he seamlessly took photos of us and our friends and family. He even jumped in with the dancing to get some live action photos. They are amazing.
I was naturally pretty nervous on our wedding day, and Alex always had a calm and warm presence. He somehow faded into the background as Kyle and I had our first look. To be honest, I forgot that he was there until we saw the pictures again.
To top it all off, my husband and I ordered a wedding album, but shortly after our wedding we moved to Spain before we could fulfill the order. d, I looked over tons of different photographers work and their prices from those suggested on The Knot, and those I met at a Bridal Extravaganza. I did not want to book without meeting Alex first ( even though he was my first pick after all my research). I met up with him at Starbucks with my now husband and mom. We all instantly clicked and I knew then I did not need to look any further. He is so friendly and even made my husband feel at ease during pictures (which is a huge deal because previously taking pictures of him with other photographers- he looked so awkward).
Alex is not a typical vendor. He becomes like your best friend. I have pictures that were taken at the wedding with him dancing the tootsie roll next to me. When I was stressing during wedding planning, he always said something that would make me laugh and feel at ease. This was not only over phone conversation though. I have so many pictures taken during my engagements and my wedding where I am genuinely smiling and laughing. I know it's because he said or did something really funny just before that-to get the shot.
I could seriously go on and on about him and how incredible working with him was. I would choose him over and over again for any photography I needed done.
