It was such a pleasure to work with Alex on the day of our wedding and during the planning process leading up to it. Alex was friendly, attentive, and professional in our meetings ...
and during the ceremony and reception. It felt like he was somewhere new every single minute, capturing different angles and many, many pictures of each moment of our wedding. All of our photos from our teaser look exceptional and we're looking forward to seeing the rest of them when they're ready. Alex also photographed my brother-in-law's wedding, whose photos all turned out amazing! if we were to do it all again, we wouldn't hesitate to go with Alex each time.
Simply the best. Alex was our photographer for our February 2025 wedding and we are absolutely blown away by the end result. When my husband and I were looking at the photos we w...
ere trying to figure out how on earth he could be in 2,3,4 places at the same time, getting all of the perfect angles and capturing memories so dear to us. On top of the product, Alex was a dream to work with, he's an amazing human and made everything so fun (even just a little bit of rain!). I can't recommend Alex enough.
An Incredible Wedding Photographer!
We cannot say enough about how amazing Alex was! From the moment we met him, his professionalism and friendly demeanor stood out. He was a true...
joy to be around throughout the entire process. His calm and approachable nature made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is no small feat when you're dealing with an excited wedding party and guests.
He is the type of photographer who would do anything to get the best shot - even basically doing the splits to get the perfect angle. We all fed off of each other’s energy, and he vibed with our group so well - it felt like having a long time friend there taking pictures, which allowed us to take wonderful casual and candid shots.
Not only did he make the experience fun, but he also had an incredible ability to capture the most beautiful moments without anyone even noticing he was there. He truly blended into the background while still getting the best possible shots, and the final photographs exceeded all of our expectations. Every image captured the essence of our special day perfectly, from the big moments to the small, candid ones that we'll cherish forever.
A special shout-out also goes to Jess, the assistant photographer, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was professional, friendly, and a great help throughout the day. Her support allowed for even more stunning angles and moments to be captured, and we’re so grateful for her contribution to making our photos even more memorable.
We are so grateful for their work and would recommend them both to anyone looking for a photographer who is not only skilled but also a joy to have around on such an important day. Thank you for making our wedding day even more unforgettable!
PS as an interracial couple, it was very important to us to find a photographer who would be able to capture us in our best light - both individually and together - and Alex and Jess absolutely delivered. I highly HIGHLY recommend them to everyone, but especially POC who know how difficult it can be for photographers to capture our essence authentically.
Alex was incredible to work with, he basically lives and breathes weddings. When I first booked him at the recommendation of my recently married friend, he even sent me a magazine ...
he personally makes! It had the answers to so many questions I had about weddings in general, and was chock-full of scheduling and photography tips.
Apart from his amazing photography skills, Alex is one of the best people you could meet. He was always very easy to talk to and he made us feel like we were the star of the show every time. All the meetings and thorough planning docs were always focused on us and what we wanted, and when it came to the day of the wedding he was the most dedicated photographer I have ever seen.
Alex showed up before our ceremony pumped and full of energy. He immediately scoped out photo spots and started joking around with me and my bridesmaids. He was so funny and kind while simultaneously snapping pictures of everything and everyone he could. He knows how to get the perfect shot. This man was getting tangled in bushes because his great eye for scenery and lighting had led him there, while still giving us some of the greatest pictures ever taken of us from him.
Alexander Cross is the most skilled and hardworking wedding photographer you can find out there, while also being one of the kindest people ever. We couldn't recommend him more.
Wow! We are so happy we hired Alex for our wedding! He is so nice and fun! He made us and our families feel very comfortable taking photos. He is also super talented and really lis...

ding day photos wrapped up ahead of schedule so we had extra time to party! We will be hiring him again for baby/family photos.
I cannot say enough fabulous things about Alex! As you can tell by his pictures, he is a talented photographer but he is also such an amazing person. My fiance and I are not partic...
ularly comfortable in front of the camera but Alex really takes the time to get to know his couples and he gets such beautiful and natural pictures as a result.
Our first engagement shoot lasted approximately four minutes because in true Houston fashion, it started pouring rain. Alex did not think twice about giving up his only free weekend so we would be able to reschedule and have more engagement picture options for our save the date.
At the wedding, Alex was such a positive energy and truly blended in with the guests. Multiple guests even came up to me and commented on how much fun our photographer was!
We have received (and loved!) our teaser wedding pictures and we cannot wait to see the rest of Alex's work.
Choosing Alex was the best decision we made and we will definitely be using him to photograph future life events! Thank you Alex for being such a special and great part of our wedding day!
BEST. PHOTOGRAPHER. EVER!!
We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Alexander Cross as our wedding photographer. From the moment we did our engagement photos, it was clear that we ...
had made the perfect choice. Both my wife and I are a bit camera-shy, but Alex's energy and fun personality made the entire experience easy and enjoyable.
Not only did he make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, but his photographs are absolutely stunning. We couldn't be happier with his work; every image he captured feels like a work of art.
What truly sets Alex apart is his remarkable turnaround time for our teasers. He delivered a quick preview of some of our favorite photos in record time, allowing us to relive our special day almost immediately. That small taste was able to feed our appetite while we wait for all of the other photos!
We are confident that we've found our go-to photographer for all the significant moments in our lives. Thank you, Alex, for your incredible talent, warm personality, and professionalism!
Our photos are absolutely beautiful! We booked Alex as our photographer the moment we met him! His energy is infectious and he went above and beyond on our wedding day. All our fam...
ily and friends couldn’t stop complimenting on his professionalism. He really became a part of our wedding party and was there to capture all the best moments. Thank you again Alex for being part of our special day! Highly recommended! Book now if you want 100% and more energy!
Alex is truly incredible. We were running 40 min late to the venue because of hair and make up being late, and he got us through pics so quickly and efficiently. He knows exactly w...
hat he is doing and it shows! Everyone mentioned how great he was and that he was on top of his game the whole night! We were also able to fit in a second shooter within our budget and he worked with us to figure out the best timeline and plan. He is kind and funny and you will feel 100% at ease with him. We have heard so many horror stories about wedding photographers and Alex is beyond dependable and trustworthy! He also helped us find an amazing videographer team as well! We are so thankful we had him as our photographer on our most important day!
Alex was our photographer for our wedding and for our engagement pictures. He did an amazing job with both! He was so fun to be around and made everyone laugh with his jokes. He is...
so creative and we have received so many compliments on our wedding pictures! He is very professional and is helpful with whatever is needed. I highly recommend Alex, we absolutely loved his work!
Alex is the Best Photographer I have ever met. My husband and I are not good at smiling or being comfortable in front of the camera but Alex made it so incredible easy. He made the...
day fun and exciting. Alex helped with the timeline and made sure everything ran smoothly. He is way more than a photographer. He does everything so you don't have to worry about anything. I loved having him shoot our wedding and would highly recommend him to everyone.
Alex is the man!!!!! Even days after my wedding we can't stop talking about how amazing he was. He literally fit right in as if he was a member of my wedding party. Not only did he...
make everyone feel so comfortable but his level of professionalism is unmatched. I will forever recommend Alex. He's a game changer that's for sure.
I truly cannot say enough good things about Alex. By far my favorite vendor of my wedding. He's so laidback, easygoing, and makes taking "posed" photos fun and a breeze. He knew I ...
wanted to be quick so I could get to the reception, but still made sure to ask if I wanted important photos. He was excellent and I'd recommend him to anyone who is looking.
We haven’t received our pictures yet (our wedding was only a few days ago) but I feel so compelled to write this review and to commend Alex and his team. Alex has a true talent in ...
reading the room and knowing exactly how to make everyone feel instantly comfortable. It felt like we had known him for years and that he was an invited guest in our party who fit right in! He has amazing energy and sets such a positive tone. My now husband who has never been super comfortable in front of the camera even commented on how much fun he had while taking pictures. On the contrary, growing up with an amateur photographer as a mother, I am very used to being in front of the camera and I can tell you, Alex makes you feel like an absolute superstar/celebrity/model while he is shooting. I KNOW the pictures are going to come out amazing because of how comfortable Alex made everyone feel. He was EVERYWHERE, capturing all of our special moments. He was professional yet fun and personable and was able to organically keep everyone laughing and having a great time. Thank you Alex, we absolutely LOVED working with you. Choosing Alex as our photographer was definitely the best decision we made and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone looking to have the same incredible experience. We can’t wait to see the photos but we already know, they will be perfect!
Alex is phenomenal! For someone like myself who gets very nervous and awkward in front of the camera, Alex makes it so easy and fun. He somehow manages to be everywhere at once to ...
capture all the perfect moments, and his finished photos are stunning. He also jumped up to put my veil back on for me when it fell off during my ceremony, so he’s a real pal too!
Alex was the most amazing photographer to work with and gave us the most GORGEOUS wedding photos!

pend the rest of our lives in our home not absolutely loving our wedding photos, it wasn’t negotiable. We went for good high quality work and then I added bridal photos. I do NOT regret booking him or paying the money he is worth every single dollar. My bridals made me cry. It poured down rain that day and stormed and he took that away for me with his personality and how much fun he is. He works his butt off during the shoot and you won’t miss a shot. I’ve never felt so beautiful. I haven’t gotten back my wedding photos yet but they will be just as amazing if not better. My wedding party and family said how much fun he was and how hard he was working! If I could give him 100 stars review I would! I can’t brag enough on him! Wow
ALEX!! If you haven't met him, then you are missing out on a fun guy and a great personality! He is the most energetic photographer you'll ever meet! He will make sure you're smile...
is real and not just those fake smiles! He was the best ever and will recommend him FOREVER!!!!
So fun to work with and incredible pictures! He makes you be yourself and captures that in his photos.
ALEX IS THE BEST PERSON EVER! My wife and I had never gotten professional photos taken of us, so being the center of attention to a camera was going to be awkward to us. Alex made ...
us feel super comfortable around a camera. He made us keep laughing and feel confident in ourselves. We had only met with him twice before our wedding and I felt like he was just one of our friends. He is really focused on the couple the whole night and is willing to do whatever whenever you need it the whole night! He was a blast to work with and I will recommend him everywhere I go for any wedding. I wish I could get married again just so I can have him around again. LOL! Do not go looking for any other photographer, CHOOSE ALEX!

we needed to be. We had a... not so good DJ, and Alex made announcements for us so people would know what was coming up! He really knew how to pose us so that all of our photos turned out beautiful!

Our engagement photos with Alex were absolutely incredible. Hard to explain how happy we are and were with Alexander Cross.

ou enjoy working with.
He was invisible at our wedding. He blended in with the guests as he seamlessly took photos of us and our friends and family. He even jumped in with the dancing to get some live action photos. They are amazing.
I was naturally pretty nervous on our wedding day, and Alex always had a calm and warm presence. He somehow faded into the background as Kyle and I had our first look. To be honest, I forgot that he was there until we saw the pictures again.
To top it all off, my husband and I ordered a wedding album, but shortly after our wedding we moved to Spain before we could fulfill the order. Two and a half years later, when we were back in the United States, I reached out to Alex to see if we could still get our album. He had all of our data saved and responded immediately.
I would recommend Alex to anyone.

ew weeks ago, and he has already given us some teasers that are spectacularly stunning! We even had some rain the day of my wedding, and you can't even tell! He's magical! So many friends have made comments that they are magazine-worthy. Alex has a natural gift and made our wedding day that much more enjoyable! He is seriously the dream photographer!
To say Alex is an incredible photographer is an understatement. Our engagement and wedding pictures turned out stunning but he's more than just amazing photography.

d, I looked over tons of different photographers work and their prices from those suggested on The Knot, and those I met at a Bridal Extravaganza. I did not want to book without meeting Alex first ( even though he was my first pick after all my research). I met up with him at Starbucks with my now husband and mom. We all instantly clicked and I knew then I did not need to look any further. He is so friendly and even made my husband feel at ease during pictures (which is a huge deal because previously taking pictures of him with other photographers- he looked so awkward).
Alex is not a typical vendor. He becomes like your best friend. I have pictures that were taken at the wedding with him dancing the tootsie roll next to me. When I was stressing during wedding planning, he always said something that would make me laugh and feel at ease. This was not only over phone conversation though. I have so many pictures taken during my engagements and my wedding where I am genuinely smiling and laughing. I know it's because he said or did something really funny just before that-to get the shot.
I could seriously go on and on about him and how incredible working with him was. I would choose him over and over again for any photography I needed done.
Thank you Alex for helping make my special day that much more special. I will forever be grateful for your fun energy and you capturing my wedding.
Having Alex Cross as our photographer was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. His personality is as exceptional as his work. He kept everyone smiling, laughing,...
and having a good time the entire time he was shooting our wedding. That's not an easy thing to do for a few consecutive hours. Do yourself a favor, and book Alexander Cross Photography.

eived the pictures from our wedding, I was floored, and I still am weeks later! He flawlessly captured the most perfect, and irreplaceable moments from our big day. From our sweet glances at the altar, impromptu giggles, silly moments with our flower girls, and even what I thought was a hidden moment between my father and I (that will probably always make me cry). Without ever seeing him - he captured it all. I am so eternally grateful.
His personality and professionalism are incomparable. Our wedding day still feels like the most beautiful dream, and thanks to Alex, we will forever be able to remember it in that way. I am so unbelievably impressed by his incomparable passion, personality, and professionalism. I am so glad we chose him to capture the best day of our lives.

ter was 9 months pregnant so he was really great about making sure she was comfortable. One of the many great things about Alex is he took the few posed pictures that we needed, and then took pictures of the story that was taking place. I forgot that he was there most of the time. He was so great at getting those perfect natural moments. Having seen the pictures, people always ask... Did you pose like that... And I tell them no he is just that good. He made me feel like a model. He has one of the most best personalities that he can make you comfortable. I feel like Alex has become my friend. He was always there when I needed him and we are still in contact with each other. I would recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for a professional, flexible and talented photographer.

ng an awesome person, his work is breathtaking. When my husband and I received our photos, we spent hours reliving our wedding day, because we felt like we were there again. While looking at them, we would say "oh I love that one", and then again, "oh and look at this one!" till finally, we realized that all 700 photos were absolutely beautiful. Everyone we have shown our pictures to have only had positive things to say. Things like "that picture gives me chills, its so beautiful!" or "these are the best wedding photos I've seen". If you are looking for an excellent wedding photographer who will make you feel important, my husband and I highly recommend Alex. You won't be disappointed!

Having Alex as our photographer, I put it on the Bible that I never once had to worry about that aspect of our wedding AT ALL, and coming from someone who loves Jesus and wouldn't have said that lightly and someone who is absolutely obsessed with making sure the pictures are the best part of every experience, is saying a lot lol. He has a magical personality and the talent to match. He is extremely flexible and makes sure you know you are taken care of throughout this entire experience.
