Alexander Mansion is a historic wedding venue located in Dallas, Texas. This mansion setting will offer an elegant and unique backdrop for your once-in-a-lifetime special event.
The 12,500 sq. ft. mansion was initially built in 1904 by entrepreneur Charles H. Alexander and offers authentic English-inspired architecture with a beautiful neoclassical influence. Since 1930, the estate has been home to The Dallas Woman's Forum, the first departmental women's organization in the state. As one of the city's oldest residences, the original building is mainly intact, and the Dallas Woman's Forum makes it a top priority to preserve the building, providing a venue filled with a rich history.
The Ballroom is perfect for events of up to 120 guests, with space to seat your friends and family comfortably. There's also plenty of room to set up a dance floor so you and your guests can dine and dance the night away in style. Alternatively, the entire house could host up to 175 guests for a cocktail-style gathering with all of your loved ones. You'll never be short a photo opportunity here, with delightful features and picturesque backdrops both inside and outside the house. You and your party can also relax and pamper before the festivities commence in the get-ready rooms on site.
The team at Alexander Mansion would be delighted to help you create an unforgettable celebration. We offer three caterers to choose from. Each can curate a delicious wedding reception menu to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible. Reach out to the Alexander Mansion to learn more about our services today.

I highly recommend getting a group together yo tour this only remaining original condition Ross Avenue mansion. The stunning hand carved woodwork, the beveled and stained glass and the original light fixtures are incredible. This was one of t...
he first Dallas mansions to have electricity because they had their own electricity creating building behind the house. It has a basement and three upper floors, the top one was a ballrrom for grand events. Each room had a fireplace since there was no heating and attic fans, ceiling fans and transom windows provided air circulation. The tour guides are incredible actresses as well as historians. It is an experience which everyone will enjoy! My Dallas History Guild friends and I toured it and many have returned for teas.

A really great venue to work with. The ladies there are very kind. This historic building is a hidden gem of Dallas. Like a small Downton Abbey but Dallas. Would be an incredible wedding location or portrait location.
