Alexander and his staff were professional from beginning to end. They even offered to set up the dishes and flatware, and cleared the tables at the end of the event! We received ma...
ny compliments on the food—especially the tri-tip, which was so tender it could be cut using just a fork. He passed on many thoughtful tips to prepare us for the day, which we truly appreciated. After all, he has over 40 years of catering experience!
Working with Alex on our daughter’s South Lake Tahoe wedding last summer was such a great experience! He called me right away to discuss menu ideas and met with us at the Sand Har...
bor venue in advance to discuss the logistics of the venue and what we needed for lunch service. His menu was excellent and everyone enjoyed the food. He’s easy to work with and does a great job. I highly recommend him for your next event.
We had a wonderful experience using Alexander’s Catering! We got married right before the caldor fire evacuation in South Lake Tahoe and catering was one thing we did not have to w...
orry about at all that weekend! Everyone loved the food and I think even a bear got a good smell while escaping the fire and browsed by! We even had a few guests that were vegetarian, vegan or non dairy non gluten and Alex was very accommodating to ensure they each had meals adjusted and had options for cocktail hour!
Alex was so great about being mindful of our budget and having a ton of options for food and rentals. I liked that he had worked our venue before and was familiar with their polici...
es. I was one of those brides that was always bugging him asking stupid questions but he always responded right away. We got so many compliments on the food, and the vegetarians loved their dishes as well!
We were so happy that we chose Alexanders Catering. Alex was so amazing to work with! So professional. He was always available whenever I had any questions. He took care of the lin...
ens, flatware, cake cutting, I didn't have to worry about anything! The day of the wedding, he and his team got our tables set up. Alex was so attentive and made sure that my husband and I always had something to drink! He made sure that me and my maid of honors bouquets were in water after the ceremony since it was such a hot day! He also personally served my husband and I our meal first thing. I have so many good things to say about him and his staff! His staff was so attentive at the reception, and everyone kept raving about the food! The food was absolutely delicious!! I highly recommend Alexanders Catering for your wedding or special event! You will be so happy that you chose them!!
Alex did catering for our wedding on 6/16/18. We had a headcount of 83 and he worked with us to stay within our budget! He is truly a professional and service was top notch. After ...
problems with our linen rental company I highly suggest you take him up when he offers to let him do the order through Camelot. We had the tritip and chardonnay chicken and served buffet style. The place settings and buffet set up were beautiful! The assortment of cheeses during cocktail hour were a hit because there was none left by the time we had our entrance. Now the food... we did a private tasting meal beforehand that he graciously cooked for us in his home. The buffet's tritip was cooked PERFECT and the marinade was delicious. The chicken was tender and moist (not typical buffet chicken!) and delicious. Our mashed potatoes and green beans were even great!! All of our guests really enjoyed the meal. At cleanup time all was taken care of as promised and no mess.
What I didn't expect from Alex and was pleasantly surprised was how he really went the extra mile during setup and through dinner to make sure the groom and I were taken care of! Top Notch in every way and would HIGHLY recommend!!
I can't give Alex any more praise. He was basically a caterer and wedding coordinator in one. He was so organized the whole process. He will answer and questions you have promptly....
He was interacting with guests making sure they had everything they needed. Alex is such a great guy. Any catering needs you have hire him immediately!!
The food was excellent. He really did a good job. I was a very do it myself bride, and had planned on not hiring a wedding coordinator and doing the set up myself. He really is som...
eone who prefers to take care of setting up the tables and acted like a wedding coordinator of sorts instead of only a caterer. If this is what you are looking for, someone who can give you suggestions and take care of it, awesome. He does like to do it his own way, and seemed to be frustrated when I wanted it done differently. There were many times after I had met with him that I was very frustrated. However, his food is excellent, and the price is perfect. All of our guests were complimenting on how good the food was!
I can't even tell you how many compliments I received on the food. It was so delicious. He also set up all my tables and linens. He was great to work with but the best part was the...

t of space and makes it feel like a bigger room. His food was spectacular. I am still hearing complements from my guests 2 weeks after the event. His prices were perfect for my husband and I to afford on a student budget. We were blown away with the prices and the fact that his spread of food was delicious. My husband and I are both food critics and still are amazed with how good it was and for the right price. His staff were all amazing, the servers were dressed nicely and presented themselves well! I would recommend Alexander's Catering service!
