Alex was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding photographer. First of all, her photos are incredible. The photos she delivered were true to the style and quality you see on her website. I don’t feel that I need to talk much about the quality of her work because that is obvious on her website. She is the best. She has a talent for capturing events as they naturally happen and an eye for the perfect shot. You will get a gallery that is just like the ones on her website. Her photos captured the day as it really was. She didn’t make us do awkward or fake poses, she captured us as we really were. I am so grateful we had her present during our wedding day. She is a wedding day professional! She remembered details I wouldn’t have thought of (like remembering to grab boutonnieres before leaving for the first look) that made the day less stressful. She worked through my list of photos and helped us stay on schedule without “taking over.” I truly felt like she was there to assist us during our day, in anyway that was needed. She made us feel comfortable and in control, while still capturing the images I dreamed of. I felt very relaxed knowing she knew would get all the shots on my list. She was everywhere I needed her to be, and brought the best energy. She brought fun, happiness and laughter to our day. She loves what she does and this energy added to all the joy. I felt like she was a friend who was sharing in the emotion of the day. She was there for us, for as long as we needed her, and I am so grateful she was our photographer. She was a critical part of our day and the vendor I am most thankful we booked. I would book her over and over again.

Alex was my dream come true for a wedding and engagement photographer. From our first phone call, she was so bright and bubbly and her excitement matched ours. My fiancé and I met up in the white mountains and I was heart set on doing our engagement photos near Franconia Ridge. After a having to reschedule a few times due to weather, I was starting to let the idea fade and thought we could just do the photos in Somerville where we live. Alex was not about to let that happen. She knew the mountaintop photos were important to me and we waited until the perfect day so we could do just that. Our engagement photos were stunning. I am still blown away by her talent capturing us in a place so near and dear to my heart. She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease behind the lens. I spent the whole morning grinning because being around Alex is such a delightful experience. She also photographed our welcome party and wedding, up in the white mountains. At first my fiancé wasn't sure about having a photographer for the welcome party, I cannot come close to counting the amount of times he said "I am so glad Alex is here." She captured our wedding in the most beautiful way possible. I am in awe of her work. The portraits are amazing and the candid shots are stunning. I cannot wait to frame the photos and share Alex's work with my family and friends for a lifetime. I feel so lucky that we got to work with Alex for our wedding. Her kindness was so reassuring on a stressful day and her positive (and overall) energy is unmatched. She is just such a dream to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough for your special day. She is outstanding.

Alex is not only a very skilled photographer and kind human, but a great professional! She worked to make my husband and I (who are not very comfortable taking photos) feel natural and confident. They went with the flow and made sure to catch all the photos we wanted. We were very impressed with how long she stayed to capture our event. We are so excited to see the final product and know it will be gorgeous! I could not recommend Alex more highly!

I can't speak more highly of Alex! I'm thrilled with the quality of her work for our 12 person mico-wedding in Boston this October. She is extremely professional and made us feel so comfortable, especially during our short couples session following the ceremony; it felt like we had known her for years! We've just received the pictures from the event and they are gorgeous and such high quality. 10/10 would recommend Alex!

We can’t speak more highly of our experience with Alex. We liked her as soon as we sat down for our first meeting together– her laid-back vibe and general philosophy were just what we had been hoping to find in a photographer. She was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She is organized, professional, and has amazing talent for making people feel comfortable, catching all the right moments, and producing downright fantastic photos. Even though an engagement shoot wasn’t in our budget, we don’t feel like we needed the “practice” getting comfortable in front of the camera– Alex makes it easy. She’s friendly, funny, and brings no stress. My husband and I had tons of fun roaming the property of the farm where we got married (in January, mind you) with Alex, finding fields, trees, rocks, and brambles for our portraits. And the photos! We will cherish them forever. She caught so many special moments and little details, the lighting in every picture is absolutely stunning– her work is just amazing. Having interacted with Alex at the wedding and seen our photos, a couple of our friends who are getting married soon promptly asked us for her info. If you have the opportunity to work with Alex, take it!

I cannot say enough about Alex! We will be referring her to EVERYONE! Even my wedding planner was obsessed with how great she was! Alex is professional, kind, and funny/smiley and great to be around!--which is super important on your wedding day, because you'll be with her all day! People literally came up to me throughout my wedding day and asked "are you close friends with the photographer?" because THAT'S how approachable and fun she is! Her photos are light, crisp, and definitely a beautiful photo-journalistic style. She did an amazing job relaxing my husband and I and making our candid photos actually naturally candid. She's also super creative! I wasn't the kind of bride to have a long shot list, because I mostly wanted her just to capture the day, but she had beautiful ideas for unique portraits of my husband and I that she thought would look super cool--they're literally my favorite pictures of the whole day now! All and all, you cannot go wrong with Alex! We also hired her second shooter, and he captured photos in her same style and in the end, I didn't know who took which pictures (Which is a great thing! It's like having 2 Alexs). You only get one chance to photograph your wedding... do it right, pay more, and hire Alex.

We absolutely loved working with Alex for our engagement and wedding pictures! Alex's photos are not only absolutely BEAUTIFUL, but she captures the sweetest moments. We wanted our pictures to feel casual and true to us, and they came out perfect. Also, as the bride, the day of timeline can be a little stressful, but Alex has an easy-going and relaxed personality. She helped me feel totally at ease throughout the day, and I really appreciated that! Thank you, Alex, for helping us capture the best moments of the bet day! :)

I can’t say enough good things about Alex. She is so sweet, so easy going, and SO talented. My top priority for our wedding was an amazing photographer. I researched for months. As soon as I saw Alex’s photos I knew I wanted her to be our photographer. Her photos are timeless, classic, and capture so much emotion. She kept my husband and I comfortable the whole time (although he’s so silly in front of the camera, he makes it look easy). We also did our engagement photos with her as well which I encourage everyone to do, it really helps get the jitters out! She arrived on time the day of the wedding and stayed till the very end. I let her be in complete control of where we should take certain photos for lighting purposes, I knew I was in good hands. I haven’t even received the photos from our wedding day yet, it’s only been a week and a half, but I have full confidence that I am going to love and cherish them forever.

Alex was amazing to work with! She traveled up to Vermont and captured our wedding beautifully and authentically, and delivered images that we will always cherish. Finding a photographer who could represent laughter and emotion through genuine images was a huge priority for us during our wedding planning, and we are so glad we found Alex! She blended in seamlessly throughout the day so you never felt like you were in front of the camera and flew through the formal portraits so that our wedding party and family could get back to the celebration. I highly recommend Alex for anyone looking for a fun, flexible, and incredibly talented wedding photographer who will allow you to relive all of your favorite wedding memories (and witness the moments you missed on the day of)! This woman was an integral part of the best day of my life. Her ability to help people be at ease and also make them smile is huge. She has such awesome energy and her presence was there every time I needed her to capture a moment and I am sure she was there to capture many I didn't even see. Pictures are one of the only things we have to remember our best days. She is a master at her craft and the best thing I could have asked for at my wedding. If you don't get Alex as your wedding photographer (especially within the Northeast Region) you are truly missing out. Alex was AMAZING. From our engagement session - emails up to the wedding in which she ensured us that she'd keep everyone in line, keep it quick and natural and have an incredible experience - to actually fulfilling every one of her promises on our wedding day - she is seriously an outstanding photographer. We had a blast with her at our wedding and wished we had another photographer to capture all the moments we had with Alex! She made us feel so comfortable and natural - like we've done the entire day before. The level of energy she provides into your day makes you feel like you are the only two people she's ever cared about photographing. Alex and her crew were absolutely amazing leading up to the wedding and the day of. They not only allowed us a stress-free experience, but they just made me and Sara feel extremely comfortable the whole time. The formal photos were fast and efficient. Alex was so stealth throughout the night, we didn't even realize she was there! The final photos were so stunning. They did an unbelievable job capturing emotion on everyone that was important there.

The minute I saw Alex's photographs on her website soon after we started planning, I knew I wanted her to photograph our wedding. Her photographs are incredibly emotional and natural - nothing feels too forced or posed, and the real atmosphere and joy of each couple's wedding day shines so clearly. The light and color in her photographs is also consistently gorgeous. I made my girlfriend look at approximately a million of the photographs on her blog, and then emailed her and basically held my breath to see if she was available. After meeting Alex, we were even more certain we had picked the perfect photographer for us. She's hilarious, interesting, adventurous, and so sweet. Fast forward to this summer (we also took awesome engagement photos with Alex last fall) - we hired Alex to come on Friday night to photograph our rehearsal dinner before our wedding on Saturday. Seeing her for the first time in a few months was much more like seeing an old friend than seeing a wedding vendor. She fit in so easily with our friends and family, and everyone immediately loved her. All weekend Alex was like part bridesmaid/part wedding planner in addition to being an incredible photographer who managed to be everywhere at once. When we got our photos back only six weeks after our wedding, I immediately started crying. We had so many friends and family fly in from all over the world, and Alex perfectly captured all the emotion, excitement, and happiness of the weekend. In addition to being wonderful at taking photographs, Alex is a master storyteller. The narrative of our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and even the larger narrative of our relationship with each other and our families is so cohesive and beautiful in her photographs - it was incredible. We honestly couldn't recommend Alex any more highly - she's perfect for couples who want a photographer who can make them laugh, feel comfortable, look gorgeous, and tell their story without relying on heavily posed moments.

Alex is absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how many of my guests came up and complimented her during the wedding weekend itself. She photographed my rehearsal dinner and wedding and it was perfect. She captured all the fun details but also the flavor of the whole weekend. She is tough to get because she is so awesome, but if you can get her -you are in luck. Alex is amazing. She is kind and fun, and just as importantly takes incredible photographs that reflect how thoughtfully and carefully she views the world. She put both of us at ease during our engagement photo session and on our wedding day. We opted to have a second photographer, Alex’s friend Abby Lorenz, who was also phenomenal to work with. These are people I would hang out with on a regular basis – and that’s who you want capturing the most personal moments of your life. We recently received the full set of photos from our wedding and couldn't be happier with them -- Alex and Abby truly captured the spirit of a very special day for us!

Alex came as a referral from a friend and we couldn't have been happier with her work! She has a very laid back style but at the same time she is very efficient. Our family photos were done quite quickly and I was impressed by how she kept the process moving but still captured beautiful photos. She was creative in where we were taking pictures and the backgrounds were stunning! I also appreciated how Alex captured natural shots without having us do awkward poses. She was fun to work with and very easy going. She was fast with getting our pictures back and I truly enjoyed working with her. I would highly recommend her as a photographer!
