I booked Kate Post through Bridal by Alexandria for my wedding day and she exceeded all expectations! Kate is so warm and exactly who you want with you all morning while getting ready for your big day! I met her for my trial and she did a beautiful job on an updo but after losing MUCH sleep, I decided after all that I wanted my hair down. I was so nervous about having a hairstyle that we hadn’t tested but Kate absolutely nailed it! My hair was exactly how I envisioned it and stayed perfect all night long! She also brought an assistant with her and the two of them completed my entire bridal party about an hour ahead of schedule! Would highly recommend Kate for all of your bridal hair needs!

Run, do not walk, to book Bridal by Alexandria for your wedding! I had a bad trial with another vendor that had a heavier hand, and it left me feeling worried about how I would look on my wedding day. I don't wear a lot of makeup, so for my wedding, I wanted a subtle look instead of full glam. It was harder than I imagined to find a vendor who specializes in that style. I'm so happy I found Bridal by Alexandria! My fears were put at ease when I booked my trial with Kate and Emma. They were professional, listened, and just generally fun to be around. I dealt with some hair loss due to illness and a recent surgery, and so I was feeling self-conscious about how my hair would look. I reached out to Kate for some extension recommendations. By the time the hair look was finished, you could not convince me that hair wasn't growing from my scalp. It looked so natural, and she was able to camouflage a very sparse spot on the side of my head that never grew back. I was so worried about it, but ultimately didn't even think of it on my wedding day, which was more than I could have asked! She was also a miracle worker with my mom, who is in her 70s and has extremely thin hair. We purchased a hair topper for her at Kate's recommendation, and again... you could not convince me that wasn't her hair! The way Kate styled it was absolutely perfect. My mom is extremely self-conscious about her hair and she was THRILLED with how it turned out. She also did the flower girls' hair, and they couldn't have looked cuter. As for the makeup -- Emma was wonderful! When I look back at the pictures, I don't see makeup, I see myself -- only it's a version of myself with perfect skin, who drinks tons of water, is well-rested and has luscious eyelashes. I wish I could take the credit, but I know it's because she created a beautiful, subtle makeup look that read well on camera but didn't feel overly heavy in person. You would never know I only slept about 4 hours the night before and probably had two sips of water the entire day! She listened to what I wanted and was open to any changes along the way. Everyone in the bridal party looked well put together, feminine, and classy. I know everyone felt great about how they looked. I also booked Emma for touch-ups, and she could not have been sweeter as she fixed me up between the first look, ceremony, and reception. I truly couldn't have asked for a lovelier pair of artists to work with on my wedding day!

Katie and Alexandria were amazing artists! They are so professional and kind, and everyone in my party loved their looks! Even when we experienced some chaos in people's schedules, they were able to finish everyone on time, and remained calm. I would definitely recommend hiring them for touchups if you have a full day like I did, or if you just want to change up the style (having my hair up for dancing was game changing)!

Alexandria and her team absolutely saved the day for me when my makeup artist cancelled on me last minute. Desiree was available to do my makeup for my wedding and was even able to squeeze in a trial as well. She did an incredible job on my makeup and my bridesmaid. I booked the Bridal by Alexandria team for my September 2024 wedding in Beacon, NY. We had Kelly and Samantha for makeup and Merita for hair. They were all professional and had everyone in my bridal party ready on time, no one felt rushed! Everyone felt that they were very experienced and were happy with their makeup and hair. We had styles from more natural looks to soft glam an they were able to accommodate all! Although not typical, I had my trial for my engagement shoot which was about a year before the wedding and the team was flexible in accommodating that as well. Loved working with them and highly recommend!

I’ve been trying to come up with a way to express how thankful I am with how my hair came out on my wedding day but I haven’t come up with the the exact wording of how much I appreciated Desiree work. Desiree truly loves what she does. She has so much experiences, she makes it look so effortless! So here is what I was able to come with to describe how AMAZING Desiree was on my wedding day! My hair was absolutely perfect and came out exactly how I wanted it! My hair stayed in place the entire night even after all the dancing! The next morning my hair was still in amazing shape, so I kept it in my updo for brunch the next morning. I had so many compliments about my hair throughout the night and even after the wedding. All of my bridesmaids were extremely happy about how their hair turned out, and stayed for the entire night. I am soo thankful and appreciative of Alexandria Gilleo and Desiree to bring to life what I envisioned my hair to look like on my wedding day!

I had such a great experience with Bridal by Alexandria. I had my wedding at Full Moon Resort in the Catskills in July and knew that I wanted a hair and make-up artist that could make my bridesmaids, mom, and myself feel pretty and comfortable. We all had our hair done by Kate and our make-up done by Kelly. I truly cannot recommend them both enough! I can be picky with hair and make-up and these two truly delivered while making sure that I would still look like myself and have my hair & make-up last ALL day and night. We had a relaxing morning even though we had to have 8 women's hair done and 7 women's make-up done. Everyone looked amazing and the results were exactly what my closest friends and family asked for. Kate was amazing with my 6 year old niece who was so excited to be able to spend time with us having her hair done. Kate and Kelly are professionals and will make you look and feel so special for your wedding day! I am so grateful they were available for mine!

When my original makeup artist canceled just two days before my wedding, I was in full panic mode. Thankfully, Alexandria stepped in and completely saved the day. Not only was she incredibly professional, but she was also a joy to get ready with and extremely gracious for stepping in at the last-minute. What impressed me most was how perfectly she captured the look I wanted – pink, glowy, and natural. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate that things turned out the way they did. Alex (Alexandria) stepped in when the make-up vendor we had hired cancelled on us two days before my daughter's wedding. It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. I had Merita for hair and Desiree for makeup and they both are such talented artists and made me and my bridesmaids look amazing! If you are looking to book wedding hair and makeup then I HIGHLY recommend bookly through Bridal by Alexandria. They made the booking process so easy to understand and were very fair with pricing compared to other places I looked at. I highhlyyyyy recommend requesting Samantha D. and Kate and Kelly C. for hair and makeup! I had 12 girls get their hair and makeup done and every single girl looked absolutely stunning. They are all so friendly and fun to work with. Samantha D. and Kate both did my hair and makeup trial as well as day of wedding and they really listened to exactly what I wanted to a t. Kelly and Merita were amazing to work with! Our makeup and hair stayed all night and still looked perfect at the end of the night. Kelly made the makeup looks so natural and felt like I was wearing nothing. I had a ton of extensions in my hair and Merita blended them in flawlessly and were very comfortable. Alex and the whole bridal by Alexandria team were a dream to work with! When picking hair and makeup for my wedding I wanted someone who would elevate our natural look, not cover up. I used bridal by Alexandria for my hair and makeup. I told the booking person what style of hair & makeup I wanted and they set me up with Desiree & jordan. The makeup artist (jordan) did a phenomenal job and was very professional. Me and my bridal party were not too happy with Desiree. In the morning, they got to the bridal suite before my bridal party and I did. Desiree couldn’t figure out how to get in and called me and asked how long until I would get there and seemed annoyed already. For hair I wanted a simple classic low bun, nothing crazy. I told Desiree that I didn’t have a chance to wash my hair the night before and I would need dry shampoo. She said ok and never used dry shampoo (and this was a hot summer day so my hair got oily by the end of the day… not sure why she didn’t just use it). I had two little front face framing pieces and the curls fell within a couple of hours. My hair never usually has trouble holding a curl. Overall she just did a very mediocre job and that’s not what you want on your wedding day. Plus she did not have a very kind or friendly demeanor. If you ask her to change anything she seemed annoyed. If you use this group I would make sure you don’t have Desiree. Also, be wary of the fact that this group uses a different name “Alexandra Gilleo” instead of “bridal by Alexandria” on all review websites. I left this review on a separate site and they tried to dispute by saying that I never used them. Overall I was very happy with the makeup, but I think people should be aware that they are disputing any negative reviews by using a different name on these sites.

Ensuring our brides are nothing but happy and completely satisfied is our goal and to hear this was not your experience is not something we take lightly. As such, when your initial review came through on the other review site, we went through our records to see if we could identify who the review was left by to ensure we reached out to inquire further about the concerns. Unfortunately, we were unable to match the information left on the review with our records as this review uses a name and date that do not match any of our records and as such, reached out to the review site to verify it was in fact a legitimate review. We feel so lucky to have found Bridal by Alexandria for our wedding! Our team was Kelly for makeup and Kate for hair. I am not a big makeup wearer so I was a bit nervous going into the trial, but Kate and Kelly were so warm and down-to-earth, and it ended up being such a nice morning. Leading up to our wedding day, we made a few last-minute changes, and everyone on the team was so understanding and accommodating. On the day of our wedding, Kelly and Kate worked so quickly, and had everyone done with plenty of time to spare. They fit right in with the wedding party and everyone felt so relaxed and at ease working with them. None of us could get over how well both our hair and makeup held up - everything still looked perfect even after the afterparty ended, 20 hours later! And this was on a very windy day! I could not recommend the team at Bridal by Alexandria enough! They are amazing at what they do and so professional. We were lucky enough to work with Desiree for hair, and Kelly and Kimberly for makeup. As someone that does not typically wear a lot of makeup, I appreciated how they listened to exactly what I wanted. I felt so beautiful and natural on the day of my wedding and the makeup stayed on all day! The team worked seamlessly together (as they had 15 women total to do hair and makeup on). The whole morning flowed so well and they finished their work in what felt like no time at all. We were all so impressed at how well they worked the entire time they were there. Not only were they professional, they were extremely friendly and personable as well. Every single one of my bridesmaids said that it was the best hair and make up they've gotten done for a wedding before. They were also happy with how they listened exactly to what they requested. The team at Bridal by Alexandria was also extremely easy to work with from when I booked with them, until my wedding day. I can't recommend them enough and I already had three friends ask for their contact information for their weddings because they're that good! You will not regret hiring them- thank you for making us all look and feel so beautiful!

I was lucky to have had Bridal By Alexandria referred to me by a friend for my own wedding in 2023. Merita did my hair and Ariana and Jordan did make up for myself and my bridal party and mom! They are truly an incredible team and made getting ready fun and stress free! The three of them had me, an eight person bridal party and both my mother and mother in law ready ahead of schedule and everyone looked perfect. All of our hair and make up truly lasted all day and all night and was everything we could have asked for. So appreciative of this team and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I worked with Kelly (makeup) and Merita (hair) for my wedding and they are both incredible at what they do! The team as a whole was so communicative, helpful, and flexible with helping me figure out what I needed for myself, my bridesmaids, my flower girls, my mother, and my mother-in-law, and nailing down a timeline that worked for us. During the trial, I went in not really sure of what I wanted and felt like I had a million different directions in which I could go for my hair and makeup. Kelly and Merita sat with me and helped me find a look that truly complemented my dress, jewelry, and overall vibe! They were incredibly kind and answered every single question I might have had. On the day of, they both worked seamlessly with their assistants to keep us on schedule and make sure everyone got exactly what they wanted! I even had a few day of changes from the work we did during my trial and they happily accommodated to create my perfect bridal look. And if any of us needed touch ups before they left they were happy to do so. Hair and makeup for everyone photographed beautifully and stayed the entire day from the morning of getting ready through the late night after party, which ended up being at least 16-18 hours! Thank you again for all of your efforts, my entire wedding party had a perfect experience and the day would not have been possible without you!

She managed to make me, my mom and my sister/SIL look like the best versions of ourselves while still making sure we felt like us. I worked with the amazing Ariana (makeup) and Desiree (hair) and simply can not say enough. During the trial, they really listened to my vision, we looked at pictures and talked it through. they both expertly delivered a flawless, natural yet glamorous look! Ariana and Desiree were so fun to hang out with, absolutely professional and beyond talented. Kelly and Merita did such an incredible job with hair and makeup on my wedding day!! They did hair and makeup for me, my mom, mother-in-law, and 6 wedding party members, and everyone looked stunning and was incredibly happy with their looks! Our hair and makeup also looked great throughout the day and photographed beautifully. Merita and Kelly were also super kind, professional, and easy to talk to. My whole bridal party was raving about the experience. Highly recommend working with them!!

Everyone on the Bridal by Alexandria team was incredible! From the coordinators (Sarah & Jacqueline) to the artists, Kate (hair) and Becca & Samantha (makeup), everyone was extremely professional, organized and so easy going! Kate, Becca & Samantha did an incredible job on everyones hair and makeup. Some of my girls had exact visions of what they wanted and some went in blind, and the Bridal by Alexandria team absolutely delivered. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and so natural in all the photos we took. The girls got compliments on their hair and makeup all evening! We had a raining wedding day and the party went till dawn and the makeup and hair stayed in tact through it all! Thank you Bridal by Alexandria team!

Bridal by Alexandria exceeded all my expectations as well as my bridesmaids! From when I first contacted them, they were incredibly professional and organized and made the process painless. I had the pleasure of working with Kate and Kelly - my mom and I enjoyed our trial with them so much they are so fun! These girls know what they are doing let me tell you. As someone who is not used to having glam done, they really listened to what I wanted and I loved my look. My bridesmaids also all loved their hair and makeup! It truly lasted all day... through happy tears and all! 10/10.
