When Alexia realized she could turn her passion into a career, she started by attending a private art school, Columbia College of Chicago. Then, after deciding to move back to the Sunshine State, she took classes like post-production, studio lighting, posing, and building websites, and got her degree at the Art Institute of Tampa. Your wedding is a magical part of your love story, and Alexia Marie Photography wants to reflect how unique each couple is through stunning portraits and candid imagery. She aims to connect and capture all the big moments and the in-betweens, so you can look back on how the big day looked and also how it felt. Hi, I'm Alexia Marie. I have been pursuing photography for 13 years, and graduated with my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Digital Photography in 2017 from the Art Institute of Tampa. Things people have said about me are that I'm sweet, laid back, and am good at making people feel comfortable. Some ways I would describe myself is someone who has a passion for storytelling and art. I appreciate the little moments and creative ones. I used to call myself a wedding photographer, but I love portraiture all together. Any moment that is happening, I want to capture it.

ours perfectly - she was organized & professional, but also chill - which just allowed us to let go and not worry about a thing, and not feel overwhelmed! Communication from the time we had our first video call, and all through the planning/day of & after the wedding was seamless. Our wedding was more than a year prior to this review (4/30/22), but we're still gushing with all of the feelings you would want to have looking back at photos on your special day. One of my friends getting married this year even claimed that our wedding photos were some of her favorites she's ever seen (& this is huge given she's sifted through all sorts of wedding photos during planning!). Huge credit to Alexia & her talent in capturing the day beautifully.

elt awkward posing in front of the camera and the voice to take my mind off of the small hiccups that occurred during the day.
Overall she worked with me and my (now) husband to make sure timelines aligned and we had all we needed to be successful in capturing each precious moment.
I would trust her to capture any special event you may want to remember. These photos are something my husband and I will look back on for the rest of our lives.

She not only worked with me and my husband throughout the ongoing changes with the pandemic but also went the extra mile and sent us “Client appreciation boxes” to bring extra happiness in a time that was extremely stressful and overwhelming. Her personality makes you feel as if you’ve known her your entire life and she is by far the best hype woman you could ask for. She has now been the photographer at one of my closest friends weddings and I can honestly say I will use her for all future “life moments”. You will not regret your decision should you pick Alexia.

When the wedding planning began, the very first vendor I searched for and wanted to book was a photographer. We came across a few that we liked and I remember asking a photographer...
to send me a complete wedding album to look at. As I scrolled through them there was a lot of photos that I really liked but there as some that wasn’t really what I was looking for as far as style/mood goes. We almost booked that photographer and I remember telling my then fiancé that I didn’t want our wedding album to be hit or miss photos. I swear, after that conversation the next photographer I clicked on (found through the knot) was Alexia. Every single photo she had on her website was absolutely perfect and what I was going for! Moral of my story is that...don’t settle! From the moment I submitted the contact submission form, scheduled an engagement shoot, got married, to now have our complete wedding album back... I know she will be our forever photographer. There is not a single photo in our album that I felt that needed to be deleted or left out. She captured our day perfectly and I am able to relive our wedding day any time I want!
