I planned an intimate wedding ceremony at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond this upcoming June and was just notified 3 months from our wedding date that it was unavailable due to construction delays. There was absolutely no communication about construction beforehand. We were promised a refund for the $350 permit but haven't heard back from anyone at the conservatory. The lack of communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. I'm very disappointed and hope no one else has the same experience.
The pool was amazing and so beautiful!!!! Communication was GREAT until the week of. If I had not literally gone there and found someone to ask if they would be setting up chairs the next day, I am not sure they would have.
We did not use the pavilion, we had our guests stand on the other side of the pond. It was awesome. Everyone was so amazed with how beautiful it is right close to DT everything!!
