Aubrey is hands down AMAZING! So friendly and easy going. She responded to all my messages within 24 hours, she allowed my mom to have a hair trial at the same time as myself. She is totally a girls girl and knew what I meant just with sound effects- my hair kept whooping when it needed to lay flat- that's the kind of hair I have lol and she made it perfect!

Aubrey did an amazing job!! She was so nice and easy to work with, and our makeup and hair turned out perfectly! She was also really nice about making a few adjustments on the wedding day when I was being picky haha :) I could not have asked for it to go better, I would highly recommend working with Aubrey!

Aubrey is amazing! My bridal party was all so happy with their makeup and some of my people who hardly ever wear makeup even trusted her with false lashes and loved them! She was so sweet, made us feel so beautiful and kept us all calm and relaxed while in her chair throughout the day. My makeup stayed all night, I don't know how that magic works, but I never once had to touch it up. I would highly recommend Aubrey!

Aubrey is FANTASTIC! I am from Wisconsin but my now husband and I decided to get married in Michigan because of the beautiful views. My wedding planner provided me with some options since I was out of the area for the planning. I didn't like the vibe of the makeup/hair artists he offered. I decided to look on my own and I found Aubrey and her Instagram account. She is truly talented and such a sweet person! She did my makeup/hair and made me feel like a princess!!!! I received compliments ALL NIGHT long stating my hair and makeup was on point! If you are getting married in Michigan, you NEED to book Aubrey, you won't regret it!

Aubrey was amazing! We did makeup for the bride, mother of the bride and groom, and 6 bridesmaids. Everyone’s expectations were exceeded and last beautifully all night, even through the happy tears. My sister is planning to use her makeup services for her wedding next year after this experience! Not only was the makeup amazing, but she was so fun to work with that morning and got along great with everyone.

Aubrey did a great job with the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and I. For me she did an intricate Rapunzel braid complete with flower buds. She listened to me when I requested a more natural look for the makeup and we all looked lovely!

Aubrey was incredible all around! Being more of a last minute booking, by a few weeks, Aubrey absolutely knocked it out of the park. It's hard to articulate just how amazing Aubrey is and how grateful I am to have met her! I had 4 ladies getting hair done and 3 with makeup and every look was just stunning. She encouraged us to give feedback if anything needed to be adjusted but she did such an amazing job, everything was perfect. Aubrey was just absolutely amazing, my wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without her. Her work is EXACTLY what I was looking for, light, airy, and not too stark. Her eye for detail and willingness to meet each bridesmaid’s ask made the experience so fun for everyone! Aside from her work being amazing, it felt like we had another friend there on the wedding day! I also want to note she was on POINT with communication (which can be annoying with vendors). She’s just great and I’d recommend her to anyone getting married up north💕

Aubrey was awesome!! She was super fun to work with and made everyone feel super comfortable. Everyone's make up looked incredible and stayed on all day even through the rain. We had 6 girls including the bride and she was done in 2.5 hours. She arrived on time and worked well coordinating with our hair stylist. Highly recommend her!

As a bride who decided to get married in THE UP in Houghton, MI I thought finding a makeup artist would be impossible. I found Aubrey through the Knot and I am so grateful I did and that she was available. I am from Ohio, so I was putting a lot of trust in someone who I would not get to do a makeup trial with. Aubrey was so communicative throughout the whole year, touching base with me and being super professional. The day of the wedding she was on time and brought amazing energy! Everyone’s makeup looked absolutely gorgeous and Aubrey nailed each look for the bridesmaids and mom’s. Aubrey came through for me last minute as my hair stylist unfortunately was no longer able to make the wedding. Aubrey perfectly executed my bridal hair with a few notes I provided her. We could not be happier that we hired Aubrey to be our makeup artist for our wedding! She made me, my bridesmaids, and our moms feel so beautiful. Leading up to the wedding, Aubrey was AMAZING at communication, which was really important to me as a bride. She responded so quickly to all of my questions and made me feel that I could absolutely trust her. On the day of, Aubrey worked quickly and efficiently, doing 12 faces of makeup in about 4 hours. She was lovely to hang out with - all the girls really loved her! I 100% recommend Aubrey for your MUA if you are getting married in Northern Michigan.

Aubrey was wonderful! She is extremely kind, calming, and sweet. I was so happy to have her as my bridal makeup artist for my wedding after seeing her talent as my sister's wedding make up artist the year before. Aubrey was great. Very communicative before and on the day of. She made sure me and my mom both felt and looked beautiful on my wedding day. She was very fun to have at our house as we were getting ready and fit right in, just like she was an old friend. With so much noise and commotion happening around us, she was super easy going and kept us laughing and engaged and stress free throughout. And the final look was amazing. We weren't in town beforehand so couldn't do a trial run, but she listened to everything I said I wanted and it turned out perfectly. I would absolutely recommend her for anyone.

Aubrey was an absolute delight to work with! She helped make the whole process of getting ready so fun and is incredible at what she does. Her work looked fantastic and held up the whole night. I especially appreciated that she was able to make my mom's hair work out so well as she had been worried it would be too short to do much with. I couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist on my wedding day. Aubrey made sure to go over exactly what I wanted with me and recreated looks almost identical to inspiration photos I showed her. I am so particular with my makeup but I can truly say Aubrey is able to accommodate many different styles of makeup and everything turned out stunning. I received so many compliments the entire night on my hair and makeup. It even looked great by the end of the night. I can’t say enough good things about Aubrey.

It was great getting to know Aubrey during the planning process for my client's wedding. She brought an infectious, positive energy that greatly contributed to a wonderful start to the day for the bride and her ladies. Payment is always tricky with hair & makeup but Aubrey made it easy by providing each person with a payment code when they stepped up for services. All of the ladies makeup held up very well throughout the whole day.

Highly recommend!! Aubrey was available to do a trial run, make day-of adjustments AND most importantly to me, she was willing to drive to our home and do all accommodations at our location! This was so important to me, as often times when girls schedule in waves at a salon, you miss the moments of being together. With Aubrey I was able to spend the morning of our wedding with ALL of the girls that matter most! She was positive, hard working, diligent and THOUGHTFUL (coming with under eye patches and beautiful gift to boot!) I am quite picky when it comes to hair/makeup and ALH did NOT disappoint!!!

Where to even begin! Aubrey did on-site makeup for my wedding was an absolute DREAM to work with. Leading up to the big day she was incredibly kind and professional, and she brought the best energy to my wedding morning. She was organized, got through our whole group with ease, and even accommodated a last-minute drop-by from my Aunt! The result was incredible – my bridal party of 8 looked absolutely stunning and I have never felt more beautiful. All to Aubrey’s credit <3 Book her before it’s too late!!

We were too thrilled to work with ALH Beauty! We had a destination in Mackinac Island and Aubrey traveled and came to our hotel early the morning of my wedding. Her and her assistant were so professional and so very kind. They were thorough and took time with each individual to make sure everyone was happy with how they looked and felt. She even brought a bottle of wine with her as a gift! She was so sweet and did such a beautiful job on all of us. I don't like a lot of heavy makeup and I had some very specific requests regarding contouring my bronzer and my eye makeup. She was so accommodating and made sure everything looked exactly how I imagined. Leading up to the wedding, she helped me with extension suggestions and helped me decide which ones to purchase before the big day. Aubrey made all of us look SO beautiful and the pictures are proof! Aubrey and ALH beauty were WONDERFUL. She was beyond professional and all my bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. I went for a trial hair/makeup and very glad I did so during the day of my wedding my makeup and hair were flawless. Seriously the best decision I made for our wedding day. She had an open communication and responded to every silly ill-timed question I had and then fulfilled every single beauty expectation I had for my wedding day!

She KILLED IT!!! I have tried posting this a couple of times so let's see if this works. I have specific tastes when it comes to hair and makeup and Aubrey along with her team absolutely slayed it! Also, she is just the sweetest and funniest person.

Aubrey had accommodated my bridesmaids and I last minute and just rocked it! She did all of our makeup and then my(Bride) hair. We didn't have time to do a trial because of my schedule but I showed her photos of what I was wanting and she nailed it. Out wedding photos look so beautiful and I felt like a princess. And she is just the sweetest person. She really goes above and beyond and thought she was the perfect person to have with me and my nerves the morning of our wedding.

Aubrey was extremely kind and did a wonderful job on my bridesmaid's hair! Chatting with her and my bridesmaids helped calm me down on the morning of the big day, which I really really needed. Our practice appointment scheduled 6 months prior to the wedding went well and she was able to accommodate my crazy schedule. My hair was beautiful after the practice appointment and my curls lasted about 3 hours (which is a long time for me). On the day of the wedding Aubrey curled my hair and then pinned the curls in an attempt to keep them from falling prior to the ceremony. She did not use much hair spray, although I don't know much about hair and assumed since we had discussed how difficult it is for my hair to hold a curl, it would be fine. To make a long story short, all of the pinned curls came unpinned and all of the curls fell. Thankfully one of my bridesmaids brought a curling iron to the venue's dressing room. She spent 20 minutes re-curling my entire head in the 20 minutes before the ceremony and that's the only reason they lasted through pictures. My hair was again flat by the end of the night. I'm still disappointed that I paid to have my hair curled, made Aubrey aware of how difficult this would be way in advance, and then still ended up having a breakdown right before the ceremony when I realized by hair looked like shit. I'm glad my bridesmaids had help with their hair, but I should have saved myself the time and money, and had my friend curl my hair from the start.

So happy with how our hair and makeup turned out. Truly amazing work!! I was a little worried leading up to the day of because we live in Chicago and aren’t up north more than a few times a year. I definitely put full blind trust in Aubrey that we’d get the looks I was going for and she killed it! aubrey & team did an incredible job and we’re able to create exactly what I was envisioning in my mind!!! My style is definitely more unique and different than the typical wedding hair/makeup style so I was so thrilled to see that she could create various styles! All my girls and I were beyond happy, thank you aubrey for making my day extra special!

Aubrey is beyond amazing to work with!! Not only is she extremely talented with her makeup, her personality is so fun and contagious. She blended right in with the group when we were getting ready where it almost felt as though she was just one of the girls! Her makeup was stunning on everyone in the wedding party! I think my favorite part was that everyone's look accentuated their natural beauty. Even the mom's makeup looking AMAZING and these are women who rarely wear makeup anymore. Everyone's look lasted well into the night (and maybe even into the next morning...) without any loss of quality. I'm so used to getting the racoon eyes by the end of the night and there was none of that with her makeup. If she is available for your date, hurry and book her! You will NOT be disappointed.

Aubrey, girl you SLAYED it! I have a hard time trusting stylists/beauticians in general, let alone for one of the most important days of your life! She was sweet, a pleasure to work with, reasonably priced, and most importantly, SUPER TALENTED! I changed my look last minute and she was able to roll with it, I showed her pictures the day-of of what I wanted my bridesmaids to looks like and she was able to keep them all looking uniform, but with slight variations on their eyes. We all looked amazing, I have honestly never felt more beautiful on my big day. Aubrey, I will never be able to thank you enough for making us look so incredible on my big day!
