To start, before we even began talking about any photography needs, Ali was super helpful with providing advice on Colorado-based vendors we could consider. She was SO knowledgeable about venues, planners, food vendors, and DJs from her experiences at previous weddings. When we moved into working with them, Ali sent us a variety of quotes to consider so we could craft and decide upon our photography needs for the big event. She was super flexible to make sure we could accomplish what made sense for our budget. We were also so appreciative that they provide an Adventure Session to get us comfortable in front of the camera, as well as get some fun pre-wedding photos that we could use while planning. Ali was super accommodating with our request to meet in Idaho Springs and hike up to St Mary’s Glacier during our session. We had so much fun with her that afternoon! Leading up to the wedding, Ali was very organized with planning the day’s photo schedule, determining the groupings of family & wedding party members, as well as collaborating with our videographer. The pre-wedding photos went so smoothly thanks to Ali corralling people into place, and she provided solid direction to make sure the photos would look fantastic. When it came to the wedding & reception, Ali acted like a fly on the wall but a sniper with the camera, and the photos turned out beautifully!! She captured so many great moments with wonderful angles and raw emotion. My husband and I are could not be more grateful for all of Ali’s help - not just for the photography but for also being a trusted guide throughout the wedding planning process. Working with them was honestly one of our highlights from our wedding weekend. They were there when you needed them, helping direct us to make us feel more comfortable, but also had an incredible way to fade into the background and capture the best candids. If there is one thing I could recommend, it's hiring Ali & Garrett for your wedding photography and also doing an adventure shoot for your engagement photos to get to know them beforehand. First, they are both incredibly gifted photographers and were clearly meant to do this work —that is, masterfully capture couples in their natural element and celebrate their love, joy, and life through photography. This is evident in their photography skills and quality of their photos, but also, in HOW they go about cultivating opportunities to celebrate the couple through curating memorable experiences and moments through laughter and play. Second, Ali is the sweetest human and an absolute joy to be around, which is SO important in a very stressful wedding environment. We originally hired Ali & Garret for our destination wedding in Denver, CO pre-pandemic. We obviously had to reimagine our plans given multiple delays with the pandemic and ended up doing a smaller photoshoot later in AZ. Ali & Garret were so amazing and worked with us every step of the way. My husband and I are incredibly grateful for their flexibility, kindness, and willingness to accommodate our new plans and ensure that we still had a great photoshoot to capture our wedding moments, (which unfortunately was not the case with all of our others vendors). Finally, Ali is the most amazing soul you will ever meet. She has a heart of gold and truly loves capturing couples and their natural element, which makes the wedding photography process so enjoyable. She was so easy going, but also super organized and rallied all out of family members to ensure we got all the shots we asked for in a timely manner. Our family also absolutely loved working with her and embraced her like one of the crew. I typically hate taking photos and posing, but Alia made the process so enjoyable! I was so worried and super stressed given all the demands leading up to the big day. She made the whole day about my Husband and I, and made sure it was an opportunity for us to reconnect and enjoy each other, especially during our first look and solo parts of the shoot, which I loved! She used fun ice breakers to loosen us up, as well as leveraged cool elements of play, which enhanced our candids and facilitated such joyful moments captured in our photos. This was my favorite part of the shoot and I love that we have more photos outside of standard portraits. We’re so grateful to have many priceless moments our family celebrating and enjoying each other that we can always look back on, thanks to Ali & Garrett You cannot go wrong with hiring them! hey are two of the kindest people we have ever met. They fit into the day seamlessly and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. To this day, our wedding party, family, and guests continue to tell us how much they loved Ali + Garrett being at our wedding. They are engaging, fun, and present, but never intrusive. Our photos are amazing, and our biggest problem was narrowing them down to fit into an album- there are just too many good ones! The album process was easy thanks to Ali and her above-and-beyond help with putting our vision together, and the Adventure Session was so much fun and such a great way to get to know Ali. having your picture taken, especially with all of the pressure and stress of a wedding, can be an absolute nightmare (my husband hates posing for photos and was initially very wary of hiring a photographer) but Ali and Garrett turned what could have been a stressful situation into something that was so effortless and fun. They bring such an amazing energy to everything they do, you can't help but have a good time. From our adventure session (what a blast) to the wedding, it was an absolute joy to have them around. Ali and Garret went above and beyond both days, making sure that we had everything we needed, providing emotional support, and even acting as an extra set of hands taking on jobs that weren't theirs (so not necessary but beyond appreciated). They somehow managed to corral our families without making anyone feel harried or stressed, and continually checked in with us, making sure that they captured every memory that felt important without keeping us away from our guests for too long. And, icing on the cake, at the end of the night they surprised us with a starlight photo shoot (some of my favorite images from the day). Truly, what dreams are made of. Re the COVID of it all, we had to pivot and turn our 180 person wedding into a micro ceremony in my parents backyard. We had hired Ali and Garret before all of our plans changed and they were absolutely fantastic and beyond supportive. In addition to being so lovely and empathetic, they helped brainstorm how we could get the photos we wanted safely, always wore their masks, and went above and beyond to prioritize our guests comfort. We just got our pictures back and are over the moon- they truly captured everything that was remarkable and special about the day, nothing feels posed or stale. Every single photo radiates the love and joy that we felt and I am so grateful that we have. Do yourself a favor and hire these fantastic humans. You won't regret it ❤️

hotos to cherish all the love and memories. After meeting with Ali we knew we had to hire them for our wedding! Planning our wedding out of state was stressful, but Ali kept us very well informed so we had no stress in regards to our photo planning. We had only been to our venue twice, once when we toured and another when we picked the layout for the reception. Ali helped us plan great locations for our first look and family photos because she is very familiar with the venue we chose. We did have an adventure shoot with Ali before our wedding. It was such a fun way to celebrate our engagement without having the same posed pictures. For our shoot we had a picnic. The adventure shoot started with us shopping for our picnic items and ended with us playing yard games. It was perfect for us! Neither my husband or myself love getting our picture taken, so having someone that we felt comfortable around was important to us to not feel awkward! In our first meeting with Ali we expressed our concerns for our awkwardness in front of cameras. She made sure we knew that we could just be ourselves and the phots would come easily. On the day of our wedding Ali was with the girls for most of the getting ready period while Garret was with the guys as they got ready. When it was finally time for our first look I was surprised at how calm Shaun (my groom) seemed. He said Garret had made the morning so easy! He knew that all the photos were going to be great and no awkwardness because he felt so comfortable around both of them. I have a very big/loud family and I was dreading the posed family pictures. Trying to coordinate all 20ish of us with young children was something I knew would be chaotic. We made a list of photo lineups that we wanted captured to help with the chaos which did help a lot! They made sure everyone was ready and even managed to keep most of the exhausted kids smiling through it all! We also used a photo booth from Ali and garret for our guestbook. Our wedding guest had fun with all the props! My favorite part of it was having digital copies of the all the photo booth pictures from the night. If you’re on the fence about hiring Ali and Garett let me just tell you a few things that might help with your decision. Our wedding photos are stunning because of Ali and Garret’s work! My parents and in laws look at the pictures almost daily ( so do we). Our photo album is on our entry table at our house so everyone that comes in can see the highlights of our favorite day! Many of my guest and wedding party members still talk about how amazing they were at our wedding! My older sister still comments that she wished she had them for her wedding! We absolutely could not have had our wedding photographed by anyone else and would choose them again without hesitation!

o know us as a couple, even hosting an outing at a comedy show for current and past couples as a fun date night! Ali did our engagement shoot which included multiple stops in downtown Denver, scooter rides, and a pedal hopper with all our friends. She helped capture a wonderful day for not only my husband and I, but our closest friends. They coordinated with us closely leading up to the wedding and communicated easily with our wedding planner as well. Day of the wedding, they helped us be flexible and find enjoyment in the necessary change of plans to our first look locations due to snow. Taking pictures before the wedding felt natural and fun, and they made sure to get specific shots that we had wanted. They provide the right amount of guidance on what will photograph well, while ensuring we still felt like ourselves. They got amazing photos throughout the ceremony and reception, so much so that I'm having a hard time picking favorites. And the entirely of our photos were available to us after only 2.5 weeks! It was a joy working with them!

y top of my priority list. From the very beginning, Ali answered all (and I mean ALL) of my questions and made me feel at ease about working with her and Garrett. However, I had to be sure that my now husband felt the same. This was the tricky part as he is very private and was not looking forward to being photographed throughout the day. Immediately after we met in person, he told me that he felt he had known them for a long time and was excited to work with them! It was an instant connection. Throughout the whole process Ali went above and beyond for us. In order to tell our story she worked to learn about us and our relationship, she wasn't solely focused on the wedding day itself. This truly shines in all of their photos. Another one of the reasons that I was drawn to them was the adventure session. Instead of a typical posed engagement session, we got to do one of our favorite things! We took our dog snowshoeing and had a picnic (bonus - Ali & Garrett love dogs). Ali even threw in a mini adventure session so we could get our save the dates out a bit early. Leading up to the big day, Ali made sure that everything was taken care of. On the day of the wedding there was really nothing to think about, Ali & Garrett had it all covered! They were so much more than photographers throughout the whole process, but especially that day. From helping with our dog, to bustling my dress, they are truly irreplaceable. We got our photos less than three weeks after the wedding which was the best surprise! We could not be happier with them. It was so much fun reliving the day, seeing the small details and moments that we missed. Our wedding was truly a dream, and we are so thankful that Ali & Garrett captured it so perfectly.

After speaking to Ali on the phone, we were sold. Her sweet demeanor, passion, and experience helped us to feel confident from the get go. Although we were tempted to skip the call with another photographer, we proceeded, just for good measure. Needless to say, they couldn't hold a candle. Throughout the entire process, Ali was extremely communicative and easy to reach. She helped calm our nerves before and during the wedding, talking us through it all. Fast forward to our adventure session - Ali made a special trip to meet us in person in the height of Winter. Her easy-going nature helped my fiance and I to loosen up. Although we originally thought we did not want to do the adventure session, we were very glad we did it, because it helped us to feel more comfortable on the big day. During the wedding weekend, Ali & Garrett were tireless. We were incredibly impressed by how calm they were and appreciated their willingness to lend a hand whenever necessary (whether handing me lip gloss to touch up, or have a sip of water when my mouth was dry). Furthermore, the turnaround for our photos was much faster than we had anticipated. We were pleasantly surprised to receive them so quickly! Friends and family have all commented on how beautiful and special the photos are. Ali took the time to go through the photos with us afterwards and is now helping us to make custom photo albums. Ali & Garrett did an incredible job capturing the little and big moments throughout the day. This duo is truly incredible and we couldn't be more happy we chose them.

great experience with outdoor weddings & landscape photography, so we could highlight our mountain venue and lovely Colorado surroundings. The light and airiness that Ali & Garrett capture is just stunning, and we have the most wonderful memories of our day thanks to their brilliant work! While they were a stretch for us budget-wise, hands-down we knew we really valued beautiful photos to capture our day forever, so the investment was absolutely worth it to us. From our first email with Ali to our consultation call, through to our wedding day and post-wedding picture delivery, we could not have been more pleased! We dealt mostly with Ali throughout the planning process, and she was nothing but professional (while fun at the same time!) She took the time to ask lots of questions, get a feel for us (not just the wedding vision, but our story & relationship), she answered honestly about their style & capabilities, and was just all-around a pleasure to talk to. I really appreciated that she asked about sensitive family situations (having divorced parents and the implications of that, this was important to me that she honored the dynamics of our relationship). We loved our adventure session leading up to the wedding - rather than have a traditional 'engagement' session, we really enjoyed the less traditional outdoor adventure session. We cherish these photos almost as much as our wedding day! Ali delivered our photos SO quickly following the wedding - they were so well done, I couldn't believe she got them to us so fast! My only regret is our not getting a package with a formal wedding album. Our budget didn't allow for it, but I'd have loved the beauty and quality this would have given us soon after the wedding (just over a year later, I haven't found the time to make my own album!) Instantly, we felt that they had our backs and they went above and beyond what we expected from our wedding photographers. They felt like friends after the first meeting. Our adventure session was unique and they focused on capturing the simplicity of our relationship. There were no moments of forced photos. On our wedding day, they eased our stresses, bustled my dress(!), and focused on making sure we were comfortable and didn't need a break, food, or water. Their ease throughout the entire day made our wedding day feel seamless. They even went to the gym to capture the morning of photos! Importantly, when our families wanted additional photos or added classic family drama, they responded professionally and calmly and focused on what we had told them we wanted. We were their priority and they surpassed every expectation we could have had! Then a few days later, they quickly turned around our sneak peak photos and they were breathtaking. everything was as described or even better after we hired them. On our adventure shoot, Ali worked with us to do their first snowboarding shoot on the mountain at Vail. We couldn’t believe all the ways she found unique places to get great photos, including following us down the entire run on the gondola. Before the wedding day, we completely changed our first look and other details. No complaints from them, just professionalism and willingness to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The day of was amazing. Ali & Garrett work perfectly as a team and were always in the background capturing the details. Everything we did was as planned. They made a conscious effort to stick to the schedule as we wished. All of this led to amazing photos that we will cherish for our entire lives. The quality and quantity of photos is awesome. We did not think it would be possible to have so many great moments captured. If you like the look of their work, you will not be disappointed. The more detailed and exact you are with what you want the more they will perfect their work to fit your needs. Highly recommend!

We interviewed a number of photographers, but when we met Ali & Garrett, we were instantly impressed. Not only did they have a wealth of experience, but we felt like we really connected with them and could openly communicate what we were looking for in our photos. We stopped looking and paid our deposit right after our first meeting. One of the things they offer is an “adventure session” - a way to capture the less formal and more natural side of the relationship. We struggled to figure out an “adventure” that expressed who we are as a couple, so it was really wonderful to have Ali emphasize that our adventure session didn’t have to conform to any particular type of structure, that we should just have fun with it. We ended up getting some really amazing, unposed photos that we absolutely love. We highly recommend doing an engagement/adventure session, because it’s an opportunity to capture another side of the relationship, and really gives you an idea of how your photographers are going to interact with you and how their photos are going to turn out. We were more than thrilled at the photos from our session, and feel that they were definitely representative of what we ended up getting on our wedding day. On the day of our wedding, it felt very strange to have Ali & Garrett be such a big part of our day and yet be so invisible. And it was nice to have one photographer pretty much dedicated each of us during the getting-ready time. They ended up being more than just the photographers, taking care of minor little nit-piks (like identifying whether the groomsmen were supposed to be wearing cufflinks or buttons). During our wedding, we sometimes wondered if they were still even there. We almost never saw them (minus when we had to do particular photos, like the family portraits, etc), but they captured so many details of our wedding and so many perfect moments without us even noticing. The photos were returned to us on schedule (including sneak-peaks so that we could share some with our guests ahead of time), and they turned out better than we could have imagined. We don’t regret a single thing about hiring Ali and Garrett - they captured every portrait we asked for and every moment we couldn’t have known to ask for. The entire experience with Ali & Garrett was beyond expectations, and if given the opportunity, we’d gladly hire them again!

That are unique to us, and our relationship. On the wedding day things could not have been more smooth. They guided us, and prepped us for every part of the day and even gave us little tips that we wouldn't have even thought about (like actually looking at each other instead of our officiant during our ceremony.) We are so grateful for them and their incredible craft.

the planning process, whether that be for their client appreciation night or for their wedding bootcamp (a fun work out as a couple.) We really got to know them as a couple, which in turn created trust, and better photos day of. Every part of the day they had handled, they went above and beyond to capture every little detail. They truly were everywhere on the day of. We are eternally grateful for the two of them and the memories they provided for us and our family!

When my husband and I received our wedding album from Ali and Garrett (very quickly after the wedding), we laughed, cried and couldn't believe how much Ali and Garrett captured behind the scenes. We got to re-live our wedding day just by looking at our pictures and that's exactly how you should feel every time you look back at pictures.
