t 30 hours before the wedding the weather turned. Ali and her team along with Cartwright Rentals and Carolyn Dempsey Design hopped into action immediately. They rearranged our plans and the wedding was perfect. We hired her because of her expertise with outdoor weddings and I can honestly say that Ali came through for us. Thanks Ali and the ABE team!

al logistics, Ali helped coordinate a tent, table rentals, lights, signage, a rain plan, even restrooms, as the property wouldn't have been able to accommodate so many guests otherwise. She is extremely professional and experienced, able to anticipate and plan for any and all contingencies. From day one, Ali listened to my vision for a low-key, not-too-done-up sort of affair (but with lots of guests!) She was responsive and had lots of great guidance, while always taking our preferences to heart. Her team reached out to all the vendors before the event to ensure that the timing would be smooth and that the vendors would have all of the supplies they needed for the wedding day. Day of, her team was incredible. We didn't have to worry about a single thing, as they managed the set up and coordinated all the vendors seamlessly. They made sure all the guests knew where to go, and that the transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception were smooth. I can't imagine having done it without Ali. I would recommend Ali and her team to anyone, in a heartbeat!

After speaking with Ali a few times, we brought her and her team on board, and it was a terrific decision. During the two months leading up to the wedding, she and her team helped us execute the final touches (e.g., programs, escort cards, sign-in book), came to our meetings with the venue and the florist, developed -- and worked with us to revise -- a timeline for the wedding, and kept the other vendors on track and and on time. On the day of the wedding, Ali and three of her team members were on site and made the wedding go off without a hitch. Needless to say, the results were amazing. More importantly, I wouldn't trade the sense of calm I had on our wedding day and the weeks before for anything -- and I know that Ali's expertise was a big part of that. Ali is talented, smart, and most importantly experienced. She accompanied us to the meeting with the florist to view the sample centerpieces/decor and was so helpful with her creative suggestions. She coordinated all the vendors, set up a time-line for everyone, and directed the rehearsal. Ali and her staff spent the day and evening of the wedding making sure that every detail was in place, timeline followed, and gratuities distributed. They cheerfully helped the bridal party get dressed including steaming the wrinkles out of the brides's and bridesmaids' dresses. They even had a kit in the ladies room for any emergency including a curling iron! Ali and her staff are warm, enthusiastic, and energetic. My only regret is that I did not hire Ali when my daughter became engaged. I do believe she could have helped us navigate more efficiently from the beginning of our wedding planning, been a valuable advocate in our decision process, saved us time and quite possibly money. It can be difficult working with someone who has their own vision and is rigid in their ways which is why it was so enjoyable working with Ali. Whether it was 12 at night or 3 in the afternoon Ali was just a phone call or email away and never made me feel like a crazy bride. My mom and I thought we had everything figured out, all details taken care of, after a year and a half of planning, however, there is always something over looked and/or forgotten (its only natural), and Ali was right there to offer ideas and to pick up the pieces and run with them when I had no energy left. If I had to do this process all over again, I wouldn't think twice about using Ali Barone Events.
