decided to get married in Hawaii since it was about the same price at the time. My wedding planner Jessica didn't know a lot about Hawaii and Alice was the first photographer I saw on instagram and I knew I needed her to photograph my special day.
From the first email to the last, Alice is an absolute professional and just so so kind and I hope to work with her again.
Alice took my engagement photos and wedding photos and it was the best decision I made looking back at my planning process.
During planning, Alice was supper helpful. She not only is an amazing photographer but she gave Jessica and I a lot of tips and other vendors located in Honolulu. My wedding would not have went as smooth without Alice.
Now for the important part-the photos!
Amazing amazing amazing, everything I could have wanted and more. My husband and I take maybe 15 photos a year so we are very very awkward in front of the camera but Alice made us feel super comfortable and we were able to have fun. Alice captured all the best moments in the bright and light airy vibe that I wanted. All the photos were amazing, even her assistant photographer was amazing.
If you're looking for a photographer in Hawaii or Bay Area (I believe she's in the Bay Area now) look no further and book her asap!

as there to help every step of the way, even with things unrelated to photography (suggestions for catering, flowers, and makeup) and gave me so much genuine support and help during the planning process. I had to keep changing my wedding date (again due to COVID) and Alice was so supportive and flexible. I met Alice in person on the day of our wedding and she was such a joy - my family immediately fell in love with her too. My husband called her "the quarterback" of our whole wedding - she came in with a ton of energy and helped everything go smoothly, and we are so excited about our photos. Again - thank you Alice!!! ur first time in Honolulu, she was friendly and helpful in accommodating us and giving directions for the photoshoot locations for our engagement session. She also guides us on the poses that feel very natural to do.
During the Chinese tea ceremony, the bride and groom would exchange gifts with every married couple in the family in quick successions. Alice’s nimbleness was able to capture each exchange perfectly and managed to capture the candid moments as well.
For the wedding reception, we host it at The Halekulani Hotel. Given that she has plenty of experiences for taking pictures in Halekulani, she was able to get the best angles to bring out of the best moments during the ceremony and reception. She captured the ambiance and the atmosphere of the reception completely.

She captured the photos in such a beautiful, pure and elegant way, you can easily see her style. The beauty of the work is she captured the details, the emotions, and everything. She puts her heart and soul to it as I see her running around to capture the right moments. She also gave me supplements as I had a sore throat to make sure I didn't get sick! My mom fell in love with her, her photos turned out beautiful. Her style and talent goes beyond what I can leave here in comments. She has a sweet personality, easiest to work with, and goes beyond to ensure everything is a good fit and that this special event is captured in the best way possible. She was the best investment we made for our wedding, as the memories to remember in the most beautiful way possible, she gave that and is so talented. overseas). Her friendly personality made it fun and easy to enjoy the photo shoot without feeling too nervous or uncomfortable.
We got our photos in about a month after the actual shoot. Alice did a great job capturing the real dynamic between my fiance and I (i.e. loving, yet fun).

Alice and her team of professionals are just that, professionals. From our first meeting with Alice everything was addressed and thought out by Alice which really eased our minds...
and took pressure off of us while frantically planning our wedding. Alice was always punctual and all of her deliverables were exactly as she described they would be .
Besides the logistical aspect of dealing with Alice Ahn her product was out of this world. Looking through the photo's that Alice posted is like reliving our wedding day and more. She captured every special moment and detail of the wedding. I do not know how Alice and her team were able to be everywhere at the exact time special moments where happening. The facial expressions on the guests in the photos tell the story of the love and feelings that were shared on our wedding day. The layouts and poses of the photo's are spot on and the quality of the photos are top notch.
I would like to thank Alice and would recommend her time and time again. Alice was not the cheapest photographer that we interviewed but dollar for dollar, for the results that were produced, her price was by far money very well spent.
