I loved Jarrett he did a beautiful job!! He made us feel so comfortable. Also he was very calm thru the entire process. My husband does not enjoy getting his photo taken and Jarrett really made the experience enjoyable. Also the pictures turned out GORGEOUS! HIGHLY recommended! :)

I looked through Jarrett's portfolio online and knew immediately that I wanted to work with him for our wedding. He is very easy going in general and professional. He was with me basically the entire day of the wedding and his crew's presence did not feel overbearing or intruding at all. I appreciated the guidance he provided our bridal party for taking pictures and how he pays attention to detail (it would have been very disappointing for example if I was hunched over in most of my pictures an no one pointed it out to me), but Jarrett gives very helpful feedback and knows how to work very well with the lighting and other candid props in your surrounding. I very much recommend him to other brides or families looking for someone to capture their special moments!

I have had a couple friends use him for their wedding and the photos are absolutely stunning. I was so comfortable and he made the whole day as stress free as possible! Jarrett and his crew were great to work with! He was very attentive to the moments that we wanted captured on our big day. He also made fantastic suggestions when it came to poses and group shots. We didn’t have much of an idea of what we wanted picture wise, but Jarrett easily got a feel for our bridal party and was able to make great suggestions. I have always loved boudoir but never thought that it was something I could do. When I came across Alice Heart Photography’s Boudoir page, I felt safer and more comfortable about doing one for myself. I booked my appointment, and I was encouraged to bring a close friend of mine. When we showed up, Jarrett immediately set a laid-back tone for the day that helped me calm my nerves. It was easy. He helped me plan the outfits, guided me during posing, and made me feel confident. There was a very fun moment when Jarrett held two box fans in either arm to help cool me down! I got my album back the other day. It is beautiful, and I have to say, I feel beautiful too. Alice Heart Photography was amazing! Jarrett was our lead photographer and Alyssa was our assistant photographer. Jarrett did our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we were not disappointed! He worked to accommodate all of our needs by going to the locations we wanted, taking all specific shots we requested, always was mindful of the background and lighting, and he was excellent at giving us direction since both of us are quite awkward in front of the camera. We also got our pictures back in a timely fashion. Our photos have turned out breathtaking! Weve gotten numerous compliments on them, and we were blown away by the quality of all the shots. I can honestly say there weren’t any shots we didn’t like! Jarrett and his team captured our wedding day perfectly and we are so thankful because the day flew by just like everyone says it will. We were BEYOND impressed with Jarrett. After winning an engagement shoot from one of the bridal shows I attended, we set up our date to shoot with Jarrett. From the planning of the date, to the day of the shoot, he was so easy to work with! On the day of our engagement shoot he made both my fiancé and I feel relaxed and be able to just enjoy the day. So glad we chose Shannon to photograph our wedding! I was super nervous that I wouldnt look "bridal" in my photos because I always somehow end up looking awkward. Our day was a little hectic and we worked her pretty hard and never once did she seem bothered or overwhelmed. Our photographers for our wedding were absolutely incredible! They were so easy-going, so eager to please, and super flexible. We ended up adding time on to our package right then and there (we didn't get all of the family pictures that we wanted before it was supposed to be time for the photographers to leave) and they agreed to stay for a while longer for us with absolutely no issues. I know it was a really long day for them, but they were just as happy and upbeat at the end of the evening as they were at the beginning of the day. On top of that, they captured some amazing pictures and candid shots that I didn't even know they were photographing! They had tons of ideas of different pictures to take and did a great job of capturing all of our priceless moments. Jarrett was so great to work with! He made the whole process very easy and I was blown away by the pictures he took of us! Our wedding was pretty unorganized and we didn't follow a time line but Jarrett was still able to capture every single perfect moment :) I'm so happy I chose him!

I don't have enough space to write about how amazing out experience with Jarrett was. Granted, our wedding was about a month ago so we have not seen the pictures yet (save the handful he sent us a few days after--which were gorgeous!), but the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. When we were first planning, photography was one of the most important things to us, so we had contacted about 10 photographers, but Alice Heart was my top choice based on Jarrett's style of photography alone. After we met with him the first time I remember telling him at the end of the meeting that we would think it over and contact him shortly. We walked out of his office and I looked at my now husband and said, "So we are definitely going with him, right?" "Oh yeah. For sure." He was the only photographer with whom we chose to meet. He is incredibly professional, does excellent work, and is a lot of fun. Honestly, my entire bridal party, my friends he sat with at dinner, and my parents fell for him right away. He's just really cool and easy going. We only had one photographer and no videographer, so I cannot speak to that, but I am beyond completely satisfied with how the day turned out and do not feel like I was missing anything without the extras. My partner and I did not go into this having any idea what we wanted photography-wise and both being quite awkward about posing for photos. In the end our photos were fun and happy and beautiful--which is exactly what I wanted. My husband and friends were super goofy and Jarrett just rolled with it. Other awesome things about Jarrett: His pricing is INCREDIBLY reasonable in my opinion. Especially for the quality of work. He did our engagement photos (which I highly recommend) and they came out amazing. After our engagement photos, several of my on-the-marriage-path friends asked for his contact info. He brought a tag gun to our reception. Seriously. When my bustle failed to hold up my dress of 10,000 ruffles enough that both my dad and husband stepped on it and ripped it prior to our first dance (apparently a common occurrence), threatening to ruin the dance we had planned (hard to dance a hustle and waltz with people constantly stepping on your clothes), Jarrett came to the rescue with a tag gun and helped my friend tag up layers of ruffles out of the way--and it actually worked. #Hero. It was the only kink in the whole day and it became one of my favorite memories about the day. That and the crickets that took residence in my dress during some outdoor photos. Ok, I will end this here and just add that I really hope to work with Jarrett again sometime. :)

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Alice Heart Photography! Our photographer (Jarret) captured our wedding so beautifully it feels as if we relive the day every time we look at them. I had a few photos I had seen online that I wanted to recreate and Jarret made it happen even if they seemed silly! We did the normal family photos but also unique photos in addition to the candid photos taken throughout the day/night. Pure happiness and joy was captured in a way I have never seen on camera before. If you want the heart and love of your day captured with amazing photography skills Alice Heart is a great company to work with.

I was unable to meet our photographer before the wedding. I called two months in advance and was told that it was unusual for that to happen. Anytime I called with questions it would take days for a call back. We went with this company because the pictures looked amazing. The day of the wedding I felt like we did not even get a lot of pictures taken. When I emailed a list over the owner stated that these were obvious pictures and the photographer would remember to do them. We did not even do a quarter of them. He also told me to pinpoint a person to assist with pictures and I did and the photographer did not even utilize them. When I called to ask if he could send me the thank you picture we took so I could mail out our thank you cards he stated we never took one and he could not find it. We took several and finally I just had to use a generic thank you card. I was very disappointed with this business especially with the amount of money I paid. You will be happier going with another company I promise.

I cannot say enough positive things about Jarrett, who we hired to photograph our wedding this past summer on a lake in Michigan. He was exceptionally easy to work with, prompt and timely with meetings and responding to emails, and did a great job of capturing our day in the way we had envisioned. I'm not someone who typically writes reviews but I feel as if I owe it to him because he was by the our best vendor and we couldn't be happier with the way our pictures turned out!

Picking a photographer was the hardest part about planning my wedding. I met with a lot of photographers, but my gut kept telling me to go with Jarrett, and in the end, I am SOOOO glad I did. He was easy to work with before, during, and after the wedding. My whole bridal party loved him, and he worked very well with our videographer (who was a bit obtrusive at times). My husband takes terrible pictures 90% of the time (he can be pretty goofy), but you couldn't tell looking at our wedding pictures. Jarrett always managed to get a normal facial expression out of him, and just made all of us look amazing. I can't say enough how much I LOVE these pictures and will cherish them forever.

Jarrett is the best! OMG I can not even express how amazing he is to work with. We had a lot of people in our wedding party. That's a lot of people to capture looking great all at once, but he did it every time. Our pictures are amazing and they capture the emotions of our big day so well. I never thought I could look at a picture of me and my bridesmaids and feel like every one of their personalities were captured, but he did it! He took amazing before pictures of the church, my dress, my shoes, and our other accessories. The photos of the ceremony are wonderful, capturing us as well as some of our guests. He even snapped two great moments of my 2 year old and 4 year old cousins playing in the pews. They were an exciting treasure when we saw them! Choosing Jarrett and Alice Heart Photography was the best choice I made for our wedding by far. He'll capture every moment for you to treasure forever.

I wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot for my fiance, as a gift before our wedding. This was my first time doing anything like this. So of course, I was super nervous and very shy. I did bring a friend to help my nerves, but Jarrett definitely made me feel comfortable! We laughed almost the whole time which helped me relax! He also made sure I did every pose that I wanted to do and outfit change. The pictures seriously turned out perfect! I couldn't even believe it was me. Jarrett is truly a one of a kind photographer and I'd recommend him to anyone!

My fiancé and I had an appointment with this photographer and he never showed up to his office for the meeting. We drove over an hour each way to his office in Plymouth. Another individual who works at an unrelated business within that building told us that he is an “Artsy person and that he is normally not on time.” My fiancé then wrote a negative review on his company on the Knott since he didn’t show up for the meeting we had scheduled. Three hours latter Jarrett called us to complain about the review she had given on the Knott. He stated that he called us to confirm the appointment but he never did because we have no missed calls or voicemails from him. He also claimed that he sent emails as well to confirm yet we never received those as well. He was argumentative with us over the phone and was clearly angry he received a negative review on the Knott more than anything. It seems obvious that Jarrett is not capable of performing simple business tasks as well as being on time for things. I would not recommend wasting time with this company like we have now. I suspect that most of the positive reviews you see on this company are from friends, family or fake accounts.

I scheduled an appointment with this photographer and he never showed up nor did I get a phone call saying where he was. I wasted my whole morning and drove an hour to meet him at his office. Another person in the building even said he is known to be late. I'm sorry but when you are running a business you should at least show up when you say you are going to! That really makes me want to schedule you for my wedding day.

Amazing amazing amazing!!! On time and prepared !! We felt comfortable taking even the most intimate of wedding photographs!!! Every picture was captured beautifully! The pictures were even done before he said they would be!!! :) I wouldn't want any one else capturing our special day!

Jarrett was amazing and very flexible! We just received our photos this past weekend and we love them! The motto that "location doesn't matter" was absolutely brought to life. We were married in a little country church on a tight budget and we were worried about the quality of photos. But Jarrett made everything look wonderful! Our package included engagement pictures and wedding pictures and we are so happy with everything we've received. Jarrett is so easy to work with and happy to answer any questions. He works so hard to make sure you get exactly what you want. Our wedding photographer, Jude, called the day before to go over everything with us which was so helpful. She did a great job of taking control during all of the pictures after the ceremony and making sure everyone was comfortable. The pictures from the reception are beautiful, too. Rob was my photographer and he was amazing. He instantly connected with us as a couple during our (free!) engagement shoot. He was great during the wedding and we really wanted the candid moments captured and it was like he wasn't even there sometimes, but I look at our photos and he captured everything!! They really do have excellent customer service and will do whatever they must to ensure your satisfaction. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

I would definitely recommend Alice Heart Photography to all brides!! I switched to this company after having a horrible experience during our engagement session with a different photographer. Thankfully I switched because I LOVE both our engagement and wedding pictures. The photographers were fun but still very professional, they had awesome ideas for poses and everyone in my bridal party made sure to point out how amazing the photographers were! Jarrett was great when he was working with my husband and I, he took his time and even acted out the poses that he had in mind for us. Also, after the crew was gone for the night it started snowing, about 30 min. later they returned to take pictures of us outside in the flurries! If you are looking for a photographer you should check them out!!

Our photographer was very efficient took nice shots was very open to shots thy we wanted.

We used them for our August wedding and I couldn't be happier we did! Our photos were amazing and they captured our day perfectly! I will be using them again in the future!
