Cue one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make! Seriously, every dress was so unique and amazing, which was far from what I’d experienced at my first appointment at BHLDN that morning. After loving each option, I narrowed it down to three and Michelle helped me try each of them on two more times! On the last go around I put on a veil with my dress and got my mom and one of my bridesmaids bawling. I knew then that it was The One. It was truly a great experience in a small, unique shop with a BEAUTIFUL inventory. I would recommend it to any bride who wants an amazing stylist experience and a special dress that is like no other!

She went above and beyond, providing local recommendations for places to eat, drink, and shop in the area to create a memorable experience for the ladies accompanying me to the appointment. After only a few emails with Kaylee, I knew this was likely going to be the shop I would find my dress. On the day of, I worked with Alice in Ivory stylist, Lindsey. Before 8am, I had an email waiting for me in my inbox from Lindsey letting me know she had a cancellation that day and wanted to offer me an earlier appointment. This worked out perfectly for our group and I was able to move my appointment up three hours! One of my bridesmaids brought champagne ahead of time and Lindsey was so sweet to help make that a surprise for me. She walked my entire group through all the racks of dresses, sharing her detailed knowledge of each designer along the way. She made everyone feel so welcome and comfortable and then took me back to start trying dresses on. I’m a quick shopper and decision maker and Lindsey picked up on that right away. Also, it’s not every day you strip nearly naked in front of complete stranger, but Lindsey was so professional and sweet, I wasn’t uncomfortable at all. After narrowing it down to one final dress, Lindsey added a hairpiece and we talked about ways a seamstress would be able to customize the dress to make it exactly what I envisioned. That’s all it took – I was sold! That very same night, Lindsey already had information and pricing from the designer about customizing the dress. The next day she had details, pricing, and a mock-up from the seamstress of what the dress would look like with my changes. We emailed back and forth throughout the day working out the details and by the afternoon, everything was done. I seriously cannot thank Kaylee, Lindsey, and their seamstress contact, Giselle, enough for all of their professionalism, attention to detail, and just plain ol’ great customer service. I felt so special, incredibly taken care of, and respected throughout the whole process. I can’t wait to continue working with the Alice in Ivory team on my DREAM dress.

hey only do appointments only - you truly have the store to yourself and feel like a princess. I love their combination of nontraditional, very fashionable dresses and accessories for the modern-romantic bride. I found my dreamy Carol Hannah Kensington skirt with the Carol Hannah bustier here and fell absolutely in love. I have never in my life seen a more beautiful dress and I can't thank Kylie and Kaylee enough for helping me find my perfect gown! They also stepped up after I had my dress in hand and recommended the best alterations referral. Alice in Ivory is a must go to for sure!
