About this vendor
*We are transitioning out of our photography business, so we are not booking weddings past 2025*
Hi, we are Alicia + Harrison! We met as kids, grew up together as friends, and will grow old together in love. We believe in being your own weirdo, laughing until you cry, and that a date night in with pizza and video games is better than any night out.
We believe in surrounding yourself with good people and dogs, that the smallest moments have the most meaning, and that hand-made is better than store-bought (especially when it comes to cake).
Most importantly, we believe that everyoneās love story is imperfect in the most perfect way, and is worth telling.
We would be honored to be included in your story and to capture the awesome people, unique details and emotional moments that make up your wedding day. Our vision as your photographers is to observe what is naturally happening, document it, and step in when needed. We will, of course, capture the big moments, but our favorite thing is finding those little, otherwise secret moments that are full of emotion and really tell the true story of your day. Our goal is for you to be able to look at your photographs, any amount of time afterwards, and be transported right back.

endations and resources, which was tremendously helpful. They also drove two hours to do our engagement pictures. We loved the photos we got, and appreciated that they share both digital copies as well as USB of the photos. During our meetings and on the day-of, they were kind, helpful, and thoughtful to make sure we got the photos we wanted (and some we didn't even know we wanted, but that we loved!)

They are also very communicative and organized; the wedding day schedule they create with you sets you up for success for your day and removes several layers of stress. We also loved that they are a husband and wife team and how that dynamic added an extra layer of fun in our day.
What truly sets them apart is their photography style. We fell in love with their unique and artistic approach to capturing moments. They have an incredible talent for finding the beauty in every shot, and it truly shows in the final results.

with us and we got amazing photos that highlighted the day. They were always easy to communicate with and really fast on the photo turn around even with it very close to Christmas. Many of the photos were candid, and people didn't even realize they were there for some of the pictures captured. They all turned out great and I smile every time I look at my photos. They also worked together great as a team making everything seamless.
Our good friends referred Alicia and Harrison to us! After seeing what A&H created for their wedding, we were in! We did both our engagement and wedding day with them. These two ar...
e so fun to work with! They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (something we don't do often!), and made the whole process light and easy. The photos they captured truly tell the story of our day. The joy and love on the faces of those around us are perfectly caught by A&H. They know how to preserve special moments on camera. They also sent the most adorable engraved USB with our photos, a little wooden frame with one of our favorite shots, a couple mini prints of some other favorite shots, AND homemade cookies! We were so thrilled having them there for our big day.

ting when we had to reschedule BOTH due to the pandemic. They are so talented at capturing the emotion of the day. Neither my husband nor I are particularly comfortable on camera, but Alicia and Harrison made the whole process relaxing, fun, and somehow enjoyable to two people that hated even having our senior photos taken! Their communication was always prompt, their website easy to use, and were so organized the day of. Instead of the typical posed, stock photos that are common, they captured the movement, emotion, and personality of the day so that every time I look back at our photos, I can feel what I felt that day. We really could not recommend them more highly!
Alicia and Harrison were amazing to work with! They made us feel comfortable and relaxed, captured all the moments we wanted plus more. The entire process with them was wonderful, ...

mera (in spite of being a very camera-shy bride!). Our wedding photos are more beautiful than we ever could have imagined and it is all thanks to these two. They not only captured all of the big moments beautifully, but were willing to adventure with us and take a trailer ride out to the middle of a field for our sunset photos (which turned out to be magical!!!). Thank you A+H so much for capturing our special day so perfectly and for being such fun people to work and hang out with!

them not just on your big day but leading up to it. You can tell they put their heart and soul into their business. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is special and itās everything you could have dreamed of in your photos. Down to every small detail, they are committed to deliver your dream wedding photos. They have such a unique perspective of your special day and they capture it so perfectly. Just by looking at their portfolio, this is what drew me to them to begin with. But to have your own candid moments on your special day is pretty awesome! Even the moments you do not even know are happening. My husband and I booked Alicia and Harrison before covid hit. Without a doubt they accommodated us even when we changed our wedding 3 times without hesitation. They truly make you feel special and I would pick them over and over again. My husband and I highly recommend this duo š

zing at what they do. I can't stop looking at my wedding photos and we have received so many compliments on how perfectly they captured our day. People have told me they felt like they were right there with us, just from our photos! Besides their outstanding talent and delivery of breathtaking photos, Alicia and Harrison are amazing, kind hearted humans which is the cherry on top. They were communicative, professional, personable and so fun to be around on our wedding day! I could not recommend them enough and we will be using them for many more years and milestones.

't even about the photos to me. This couple doesn't just provide photography, they provide an entire experience. Throughout the day, they helped remind me of my time line, significant photos I wanted to capture, kept things moving, talked with the DJ, RAN into my house when I forgot my vowes (facepalm), trekked around to get the shots I had requested...I can't put into words how amazingly happy I am with them as professionals, a couple, and a significant part of our day. I happened upon them on The Knot, and I am so very thankful I did! I am so excited to see the rest of their hard work and have NO DOUBT they will match their work ethic, positive personalities and wonderful spirits! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Alicia and Harrison were an absolute dream to work with! It was wonderful to work with photographers who were calm, confident, and allowed us to often forget they were even there....
They were able to capture raw emotion and special in-between moments, which will allow us to relive the day over and over again. They did an exceptional job ensuring all of the family pictures were organized and moved along quickly. Alicia and Harrison are extremely talented, professional, and easy to work with.

t to know who we were as a couple, even with a phone call to chat right after we booked them. They made everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable on our wedding, we felt like we were hanging out with old friends all day. Our wedding day was a monsoon and I was so stressed about how everything would turn out and they were so āgo with the flowā and not bothered at all by the conditions, which made me be able to enjoy the day more, too! The photos are absolutely beautiful. Iāve had several family members make comments about HOW they were able to capture so many special little moments that meant so much to all of us! I can not express enough how much I appreciate having so many beautiful photos to hold on to forever of our wedding day!
We LOVED working with Alicia and Harrison! First and foremost, they were incredibly flexible with us and didn't bat an eye when we asked them to travel to ANOTHER state because our...
original venue had taken our money without giving us a new date. They had a packed weekend and drove a long distance to get to us, and we really appreciated it. A&H were also SO easy to work with and asked us pointed questions before the wedding so that they understood our vision and wants and needs. We personally did not want to be taken away from the wedding much for photos and wanted to keep things short and sweet, and on the day of the wedding they had made a list of all the names of the people for each photo so we could usher folks in and out and it was seamless. Every request that we made was honored and it really helped to give us the day we were looking for. After the wedding A&H were incredibly professional and kept in touch with timeframes they were going for to return our photos. Even though they are having a very busy wedding season they were able to return our first look photos quickly, and the full album not long after. The USB was sent in a beautiful package from A&H and really just added the most lovely last interaction with them. We loved working with them and would highly recommend them for your wedding too!
Alicia and Harrison are simply AMAZING! We were a 2020 couple that had to change our date and they were incredibly flexible with us-not only that, but they came to our spur of the ...
moment intimate ceremony and shot that for us! We enjoyed every session we had with them and their photos are absolutely stunning! They are incredibly professional-on time, prepared, and responsive. They are the sweetest couple and have such a great sense of humor. We felt very comfortable with them for all of our photos. Not only are they efficient at group photos, but they are also amazing at catching sweet/fun candid moments that I had no idea they photographed. I would highly recommend Alicia and Harrison to everyone and I can't wait to use them again and again throughout the years! We are so grateful to have worked with them.

d comfortable to work with on our big day! We had some last minute location and weather adjustments which they handled flawlessly, we felt comfortable and never pressured to pose or act unnaturally, and the images they captured feel so alive and brought back every feeling from the wedding day. We were also incredibly impressed by the short turnaround time that they delivered our images to us! We could not recommend them enough!!!

ate ceremony on the beach (on a different date than originally planned) with just a few family and friends and we're so thankful Harrison was able to be there to capture how special it was. The pictures turned out beautifully and we'll treasure those forever. While our big wedding didn't end up happening like so many couples in 2020, we were truly lucky to have ours feel special and want to thank Alicia + Harrison for being part of that! We highly recommend them to anyone reading this review, you'll be so happy you did.

e only ones besides our immediate family in attendance! Even in this incredibly intimate setting, Alicia and Harrison fit right in. They got right to work on arrival and proceeded to take the most beautiful, precious photos: we've gotten nothing but compliments about the way they captured the event. My partner and I are not the most comfortable being photographed, but they made it fun and easy, often demonstrating what they wanted us to do for a photo themselves and making us laugh and feel instantly natural. Alicia and Harrison felt like part of our small group almost immediately. The photos they produced just feel like us, and we'll cherish them forever!
I literally have nothing but wonderful things to say. Alicia and Harrison have to be among the most kind, thoughtful, creative, and just amazing people my husband and I have ever m...
et! From the very beginning when we sat down for lunch and a quick Mario Kart game (Harrison is very good, by the way - lol!) we clicked with these two and had full confidence they would capture our day just the way we imagined. And then it was reconfirmed when they took our engagement photos and absolutely surpassed our expectations! They were so communicative and helpful during the entire wedding planning process (and we all know 2020 was a crazy year, especially to plan a wedding)! We're already committed to using them for any other photoshoots we want to do and have told so many of our family and friends about them - but their work speaks for itself! We got endless compliments and shares of our wedding photos and still months later have people telling us how beautiful and vibrant they were and asking for copies. If you are on the fence or between photographers - absolutely go with Alicia + Harrison! You will NOT be disappointed.

pictures of the beautiful and raw emotion of our day. I have so many people comment on how amazing our photos were and how they felt like they were right there with us because the emotion was captured so beautifully. Now only do they produce great work, but 2 weeks before the wedding they gave us a photo day of wedding timeline, which helped us immensely with planning everything out for our day. Then the day of the wedding, I have never been to a wedding where photos go smooth, except at ours. Harrison had written down what we said we wanted for photos and the order of family photos- they both were efficient in getting our photos done and we were able to enjoy our cocktail hour! I wish I could get married again to have the photograph another wedding to spend more time with them again!

. They were professional, kind, relatable, and did an amazing job capturing the true essence of our wedding day in photos. They captured real moments and true human interactions, which we will cherish for our lifetime. They made the wedding photos fun to take (we didn't feel stiff or awkward or posed) and true to who we are, and we couldn't be more grateful that they chose to share their talents with us. We cannot say enough about how thrilled we were to have chosen these two as our photographers on our big day. Thank you both so much for capturing our wedding! We highly recommend this dynamic duo of two very talented, caring, and conscientious photographers.

hat's right. I said it. They were absolutely superb!
You know the worst part about planning a wedding?? The part where your vendors never answer your email and never get back to you with answers to your questions? A thing of the past with Alicia & Harrison. They are responsive. They are respectful. They KNOW what it's like to plan a wedding in today's digital age and how important something simple as responding to an email, in a timely manner, can be.
Let's talk the Day Of: Our wedding day was a blur, like everyone's is. But the best parts were captured beautifully by Alicia & Harrison. It was our second time meeting them in the person, and they both are simply the kind of people you not only want to photograph your wedding, but the kind of people you want to get a beer with and invite to the after party as well!
Everyone who has seen our photos has said that they are simply amazing, and we couldn't agree more. They made the planning process effortless, the 'Day Of' a breeze, and the aftermath/pictures something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
Listen.... do yourself a favor and hire the nicest, kindest, most talented husband/wife photo duo in the Mid-west!
