pond and resolve questions/issues. We had lots of communication back and forth especially clarifying songs. The communication was open, straightforward and we weren’t bombarded with unnecessary details. As a vendor that’s so important, it really makes a huge difference. We prefer to be prepared and review song files prior to the day of the event and Alicia ensured we had what we needed. We’ve had other planners not realize or maybe not appreciate how we work, but Alicia did. During the wedding we were both open to adjusting the schedule as needed which is always a plus but the timeline stayed pretty well on track. Everything was on point and working with Alicia Horn Weddings was an absolute pleasure.

t choice!!! I found Alicia on the Knot app - I messaged her and heard back EXTREMELY quickly! (Unlike other coordinators I messaged who took days or weeks to respond). She immediately sent her different package options and I could tell from the beginning she had a sweet spirit. We set up a phone call to chat about her availability, experience, etc. We were thrilled after our conversation with her - but still did some homework with other coordinators in the area just to be safe. No one compared and we chose to do the Day Of package with her! We had a long engagement, but even with only doing the day of package Alicia was so kind and would check in with us periodically to make sure we were staying on track, how we were handling the stress (especially during COVID) and would give words of encouragement! When it came to the month before I was blown away by the value of Alicia - she checked in with all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. I was shocked at how much can get lost in translation between vendors over the course of the engagement period and Alicia smoothed everything out!! There are so many little things that I would have never thought about that Alicia had all over her radar. When the day of the wedding came, I felt confident nothing could go wrong. But I was wrong… We had a freak accident happen outside of the ceremony venue that was completely outside of our control only 30 minutes before the ceremony started, causing a disruption with guests getting to the ceremony on time. Alicia knew exactly what to do, how to handle it, get all the guests in, and how to compensate for time lost to keep everything on track. She was a total boss with getting things done, all while having a sweet spirit. Seriously a life saver because everything could have gone down hill FAST had Alicia not been there. She was able to notify the reception venue and vendors to give them a heads up and get everything back on track right in the moment - allowing us to have our perfect ceremony and reception just like we had dreamed all along! All I had to do was relax in the bridal suite before getting married! What they say is true - something will always go wrong on your wedding day! I am so thankful we had Alicia there, to take care of who knows how many little things before the big accident happened, to make sure the wedding day went smoothly. I had a blast getting ready with my bridesmaids in the morning, spending quality time with my parents before the wedding (no first look), marrying the man of my dreams, and partying at the reception with my friends! I didn’t have to worry about anything all day, all thanks to Alicia! She is absolutely worth it!!

untry, yet it all came together seamlessly. She honestly made my job so much easier because I knew she wouldn't let anything fall through the cracks! She was not only friendly and professional, but so calm under pressure - even when last minute changes were necessary quite a few times throughout the weekend, including delaying the ceremony due to an emergency. Just by seeing the challenges she handled throughout the weekend, I am convinced there were other fires Alicia put out before they ever reached me or the bride! It was such a relief to have Alicia navigating challenges and last minute details so I could focus all of my energy and attention on supporting the bride. I had never been in a wedding who used a wedding coordinator before, and I left telling my boyfriend Alicia made me realize they are NOT OPTIONAL! I cannot recommend Alicia enough!

dding scheduled for April 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the wedding was cancelled two weeks before the big day due to the DoD Travel Ban. Alicia communicated with all of my vendors so I didn't have to after we found out we needed to cancel. Then, she communicated with vendors through a few different reschedule dates (again, due to travel bans) until we were able to have our wedding in April 2021. Alicia was completely professional throughout the entire process but also felt like a close friend - something I find to be extremely important when helping to plan an event as intimate as a wedding. She was so easy to communicate with and helped to bring our vision to life. If you're reading this review, just do yourself a favor and hire her! ;)

the process and advocated for us when there were any issues. She organized the timeline for the wedding day which made everything run so seamlessly. She and her husband are so kind, patient, and professional. She was really open to helping us implement our vision for the wedding, and we would recommend her to anyone!

stworthy. Alicia took my vague vision and made it a picture-perfect reality. She provided me with ample information so I knew what I needed to accomplish on my end, and so she would have a good idea of what we wanted as an end result. She was always quick in her responses and was available for any of my (many) questions. I cannot recommend Alicia Horn Weddings enough!

dding with warm and encouraging words and the right amount of humor to keep our guests entertained.
