g photos from my friend's wedding and was so grateful we could work with her as well. While Alicia and her partner Rachel and incredible artists, they are also phenomenal humans. You spend SO much time with your photographers on your wedding day, and Alicia made it like spending time with a trusted friend. I appreciated how comfortable in front of the camera she made me and my husband feel, and had a way of prompting us that felt so natural when we are NOT photo people. Can't say enough good things. Adore this vendor.

d Rachel for our wedding; we had based that initially off that we would have two shooters (a key item we were looking for), and their online portfolios looked promising in terms of what we were looking for both visually and for what we valued. Before booking (well in advance) we were also able to have a phone call with Alicia where we discussed details, the vibe of our event, and more initial information on what we were looking for, which gave us confidence. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to meet them both at an open house they hosted at their studio earlier in the year before our wedding in the fall. When it came to our wedding, we were given an extensive questionnaire regarding things including, but not limited to: items we both felt were important and valued, what we wanted our day to be about, important people to focus on, vital photos to obtain, and many other small, thoughtful details. Alicia was also very communicative in advance of the wedding in regards to plans, recommendations, and open to more communication if it was needed. When it came to the day of the wedding, they were both skillful and efficient, as well as empathetic to the complications inherent in a wedding day. Looking back at our photos (of which there are many, and they are excellent), we both have said at multiple points that we don’t even remember them taking photos of certain small moments (but they did), and that there are a number of photos that highlight them keeping in mind the details we discussed with them both months in advance and during the day of (which we very much appreciate).

My partner and I don't love PDA or even being photographed but they made us feel so comfortable. They even gave us the confidence to make some last minute changes to our ceremony! They were friendly, warm, and personable, and all our family members talked about how easy they were to work with. We had to “hide” from our early-arriving guests to do all of our family photos and Alicia was very creative in finding beautiful places to shoot and gave us rides in her own car in between locations so that our dresses wouldn’t get dirty (we were a 2 bride wedding and had an outdoor ceremony at a vineyard). All throughout the night, they were inconspicuously in the background taking pictures of all the candid moments. We have only received our “sneak peak” so far but the photos are AMAZING. We could not recommend Alicia King more!!

ust the loveliest person to work with. When we were first considering vendors, it took us all of 5 minutes in to our conversation with Alicia to know that we really wanted to work with her. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer - she is totally professional - cool, calm and on top of it (even stressed mums!) and managed to get the most beautiful photos despite the intermittent rain. She is even a veil pro who put mine in right before the ceremony to surprise my husband. Rachel was her second shooter, and we really loved them both. Honestly, the photos we've seen so far are so incredible and I'm so excited to see the rest! She's also really helpful during planning - we've never planned a wedding before, but they are very much her "thing". I would hire her a hundred times over. I sort of want to have more events that need a photographer so that I can hire her to shoot them!

esn't make you feel like you are posing for your school picture (you know- tilt your head left, turn your shoulders right, sit up straighter, smile). She makes sure to get all of the pictures you...and your parents... want even if it means squishing 20+ people into the middle of the dance floor, and somehow makes them look natural and perfect. During our ceremony and reception it was like they weren't even there. I never felt like there was constantly a camera pointed in my face or a flash always going off. We knew that when it came to our wedding, our photographer was not something we wanted to settle on. We wanted the best of the best, and in my honest opinion, we would not have trusted anyone other than Alicia. She had done several of our friend's weddings and we knew she was not only talented, but professional. Once we saw our engagement photos and now our sneak peak, it has confirmed that we made the right choice. We will continue to use her any time we need a photographer.

Both the engagement photos and the wedding photos were just what we wanted: not a lot of staged photo ops, but a ton of action shots that captured the joy of the occasion. She was super responsive to all requests, got us all of our photos (both the sneak peak and the final shots) on time, and was just the loveliest person to work with. tures. We did a pseudo-engagement shoot with Alicia first as a test run to get acquainted with her style. From the beginning, she helped us relax and get comfortable with being photographed. She suggested fun poses and great compositions that turned out just fantastic. We knew we were in good hands come the day of our wedding. Alicia and her team were fabulous - she brought a second shooter to help make sure she could capture all of the memories of the day. They were never intrusive, but they were on hand to help document everything that was going on on a super busy day. The pictures they got were beautiful and fun - and this is coming from someone who *hates* having his picture taken! One of the best things about Alicia's work is her attention to detail. Obviously, she got a ton of pictures of the wedding party - but she also managed to capture pictures of seemingly all of our guests. That let us feel like we were reliving the wedding when going through her pictures. It was so wonderful to be able to see moments that we had missed on the day itself.
