And she continues to communicate and work with me on anything that has popped up since sending me access to my photo galleries (ie. recommendations for printing, enlarging photos, etc.), which I should add was just days, I repeat days after our wedding! We have infinite access to the photos because they are saved on the cloud, and we are able to download them to save on our cloud for all the days! That is absolutely unheard of! I know girls who were married weeks before me, and just received their photos, months after their weddings! Furthermore, Alicia is extremely considerate, providing special little tid bits (I won’t give up the surprises) throughout the wedding planning process which make it even more special and help to keep you, the bride, from stressing too much and staying focused on what is most important. On the day of our wedding, Alicia arrived over an hour earlier than her scheduled arrival time to get an understanding of the layout of the grounds for the wedding and reception. I don’t want to ruin a surprise, but she even provided us with a print of one of our photos she took just hours prior during our reception….phenomenal! You cannot go wrong choosing Alicia to be your photographer for your engagement photos, wedding, etc.! I will probably be contacting her to take photos when we have children because I will miss working with her and cannot wait to experience more of her amazing work! I am sure I forgot something important, so I will just add another review when I think of it!

For the engagement pictures, Alicia met us at the crack of dawn and got some beautiful shots in Old Town Alexandria. She got us with a mix of posed shots and more candid ones, all of which turned out really nicely. For the wedding, she came with an additional photographer and got some great posed and candid shots from getting ready to our sparkler exit. She went to the wedding venue a day early and scoped out the perfect backdrops for each photo. The day of, she guided me through each step like such a professional! I wouldn't have had any idea on how to begin to the cut the cake if it wasn't for her! I know that sounds silly, but it was a tiny detail that I had overlooked and she coached me through. My whole wedding party had compliment after compliment for her as well! They can be an unruly bunch but she directed them with ease (I would have yelled at them haha). She took care to learn names and it meant a lot. One of my favorite things she did was capture the reception perfectly. We danced the night away. I have never enjoyed a party so much...looking back at the pictures she took, I can relive all of those great emotions that made the day so special: my maids dancing like fools, my father in law dancing the polka with his 93 year old mom, my groom lip singing every song as we danced to me...every picture brings back the feelings I had and for that, I am forever grateful (currently tearing up just thinking about it).
