Where do I even begin? Our experience from the very beginning stood out to us. When finding a photographer, as a photographer, trusting someone to take your big day photos is daunting. These gals know what they are doing! From our engagement shoot, we immediately felt at ease. My husband was a little shy at first but Lexie did a phenomenal job making him comfortable and building rapport before our wedding. From the very beginning, they were incredibly communicative and took the time to thoroughly understand my vision and plans, keeping me informed at every step of the wedding planning process. We got married in Italy in May, and ALP handled our international wedding with exceptional professionalism and organization. I had many important "inspo" shots that I shared in advance, and the ALP team made sure every single one was captured. We had an absolute blast with them throughout the process. One thing that truly stood out was how they sent us behind-the-scenes footage the day after our wedding, which was so special to see so quickly after our celebration. Cannot say enough good things about Alicia Lucia Photography’s entire team. From beginning to end, the experience was nothing short of flawless. Booking their services and completing the contract was a breeze. Their team was consistently professional, friendly, and flexible. We received the sweetest gift in the mail upon booking which made us so excited for our wedding. We last minute added videographer services and they made it happen WEEK OF! They also worked with us to do our complimentary engagement session the night before our wedding. Given we’re from out of town, the flexibility and kindness made us feel so comfortable. Within 24 hours of our wedding, Alicia was posting BTS to her instagram which made our whole family cry. We received sneak peeks within a few days and are simply obsessed with the images. We felt so loved and celebrated by their whole team, and you can see how comfortable we were in the photos. They were such a pleasure to work with on all fronts and truly worth every penny. We could not have asked for a more professional and fun group of photographers to work with. From our engagement photo session all the way to the day of our wedding the Alicia Lucia Team was a dream to work with! During our engagement photos they immediately made us feel comfortable and we were given so many beautiful photographs only a few days after session. Leading up the wedding they provide so many helpful tips and recommendations (we ended up using many of their recommended vendors). This was so helpful as we planned our wedding from out of state and were not in the Albuquerque area to check out different vendors. The day of the wedding the team was with us each step of the way. One of the photographers even helped me put the flowers into my hair and made sure the pins were hid to create a beautiful look. We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer experience and we have already received so many compliments on our album (which we received less than a month after our wedding!!)

This is the photographer you want!! If you look at Alicia Lucia's portfolio, it is very evident that they do A LOT of the weddings and events in the 4 corners + New Mexico area and it is for a good reason. I could go on for days at how beautiful the photography is, but it is the team that makes this vendor incredible. We ended up going with 6 hours of coverage + an engagement session so we had a lot of time to spend with the Alicia Lucia team. At our engagement session the photographer was so kind and accommodating and really worked to get to know us and what would work best for our big day. Then to top it off, they were so prompt with sending across sneak peaks (1 day) that we were able to make some requests to make our wedding photos all the more incredible. The day of we had two shooters + an assistant and I cannot praise the team enough. The team immediately walked into what was a very stressful situation (vendors + the officiant were late due to traffic) and handled everything with such grace and professionalism. In all the chaos the assistant was even so kind as to run around and help us with things we had run out of time for, such as finishing writing my husband's vows in his vow book. We had such an amazing time working with this team - a massive thank you to Molly + Lexie + Jordyn - and will cherish these photos forever.

We had a great experience with Alicia Lucia photography from the booking experience to the post-wedding communications. Carissa was our main photographer, joined by Jaclyn who took vibey iphone videos. Carissa made us feel comfortable right away and was a joy to be around (as was Jaclyn!). We had not met them prior to the day of the ceremony and were grateful to be in such good company. We also were grateful to have the additional video clips to remember the little moments throughout our ceremony and the energy of the day. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. We had one small issue, and Alicia Lucia's team was quick to respond, very professional, and helped remedy the issue. We do feel the services are more expensive for shorter timeframes compared to other photographers, but you can feel confident that you'll get a great experience and stunning photos with Alicia Lucia's team!

Alicia Lucia and her team made our engagement day absolutely incredible. Our photographer, Lexie, was nothing less than exceptional. She helped coordinate with Los Poblanos, took several of my calls before the shoot (nerves), and executed my vision perfectly for our engagement. Alicia Lucia photography made the whole experience so seamless! Finding someone to trust with my wedding photos was my highest priority when it came to wedding planning. When I first saw photos my the company, I was blown away at how clean & timeless they felt. This was exactly what I was looking for! They traveled to my dream destination, Lake Powell, to take our engagement & bridal photos and they turned out better than I could have ever imagined! Leading up to our wedding day, they made sure to have all the details and timeline figured out so the day-of ran as smooth as possible! I love how perfectly they captured the whole day, even the candid and spontaneous moments! You will not be disappointed! Couldn’t recommend them enough!!

All of the pictures were wonderful! Beyond that, they were easy to reach and always responded quickly. Most importantly, as a bride, they were BEYOND HELPFUL. My photographers (Molly & Erin) helped trim my bouquet, took jewelry on/off, had assistants to carry our stuff, helped me with my shoes on/off, fixed my hair, etc. They were more helpful than our own bridal party! Hello lovers! If you are looking for an engagement or wedding photographer and are on the fence whatsoever, I am here to tell you: you’ve found the one, and your dreams are about to come true. I’ve said ‘yes’ to Alicia and her team twice - for our engagement shoot at White Sands, NM, and for our wedding in the San Francisco Bay Area. My wife (newly minted!) and I are totally in love, and would marry them all over again!!! Haha all jokes aside, we seriously couldn’t be happier for a number of reasons. #1 ARTISTRY. (This one’s subjective, but it really sealed the deal for us!) One thing that sets Alicia & Co. apart from everyone else is their dreamy style of editing colors. While the colors still look natural, they give an impression of lightness and warmth, which feels romantic. This distinctive style makes your photos look like they could be out of a magazine and brings them together in such a satisfying way. We are also huge fans of the way Alicia & Co. shoot! We love that they take wide, cinematic shots in addition to closer, more intimate portraits. We felt they captured not only the events, but the atmosphere and emotions that made our day so special. #2 EASY (Professional). Alicia & her team are soo easy to work with! Responsive, communicative, dependable, thorough, punctual, painless to work with, etc. etc. They have the logistics down to a science, and we received our pictures earlier than estimated, both times. (Our wedding pictures were estimated to take 4-6 weeks, but I honestly think they arrived within a week and a half?!) #3 STILL EASY (but read: Fun, Comfortable, Skilled at Drawing Out Your Best). Alicia and her team create a relaxed and positive environment that always feels natural and authentic. My partner and I do okay in front cameras, but typically start to fidget after a minute or so with solo shots. We were surprised by how much fun we had and how comfortable we felt (which makes your pictures even better!) I should note that my partner and I are both women, so here’s your sign, LGBTQIA+ friends ;) We worked with Alicia for my proposal, and had Alicia, Lexie, and Lindsay join us on our wedding day. #4 SOCIAL MEDIA-FRIENDLY. More than likely, you’re going to want to share pictures on your socials. For both the proposal and our wedding, we received sneak peeks within 1-2 days that immediately allowed us to do this! For our wedding, we also received goodies that weren’t in our contract, but were AMAZING to have. The girls took short videos throughout our wedding, stitched them together into an IG story, and posted this on their official IG account. This allowed us to make our own highlight that we could replay at any time. Watching this the day after our wedding, and on our honeymoon? Priceless and absolutely magical!!! (We received the files for all these short videos as well!) Whew! I’ve basically written an essay at this point. (Props if you’re still with me, haha!) But I am only putting in this much effort because I truly feel that Alicia & Co. deserve every word. We are so grateful to have worked with them twice, and we will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. Thanks again for everything, Alicia, Lexie, and Lindsay!!

Our experience with Carissa, Molly, Lindsey, and Taylor + the entire team at Alicia Lucia Photography was magical. From the very first meeting during our engagement photo session, Carissa's vibrant and joyful personality made us feel at ease, which was important for two rather camera-shy people who hate being the center of attention! Throughout the entire process, Carissa's fun, light-hearted, and silly demeanor brought out the most sincere smiles from us and our guests. She effortlessly captured our love and the joy of our special day. In addition to her delightful personality, Carissa is also an incredibly talented photographer, as is Molly, who was there to assist Carissa on our wedding day. Carissa and Molly have a real talent for capturing sincere interactions between family and guests and photographing the natural beauty of the Southwest. The photos are light and airy, but don't look like they're heavily edited to be that way, which was very important to us. I was also so thankful that they didn't take us away from our family and friends to take endless photos--we actually wanted to be present at our wedding! Instead of countless interruptions for more photos, Carissa and Molly waited for the perfect timing (in between courses and when the light was beautiful) to quickly take us out for some photos in front of the mountains. Carissa, Molly, and Lindsey + the entire team at Alicia Lucia Photography gave us the most beautiful, special gift with their photos--not only with the online portal but also with the prints they mailed us in a gorgeous glass box along with a USB. There are not enough words to fully express the love I have for this team!!! Alicia and her team are incredibly kind, talented, professional, and very easy to work with! They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions that I had. It’s a huge deal for vendors to help your day go as smoothly as possible and this is exactly what they did. The ALP team is amazing! They worked with me prior to the wedding to set up a timeline of events, determine when/where to get the best photos at my venue, and helped me organize the entire plan. The team was also helpful when I was getting ready, held my bouquet when I needed an extra hand, even provided me bobby pins when I needed it! They made our wedding day so special, and the pictures turned out beautifully. We got our sneak preview soon after our wedding and our full album just about 3-4 weeks after. I highly recommend them!

Amazing communication and overall a lovely experience! Our photographer Ashley was a phenomenon- she knew how to give directions and make it enjoyable for the both of us so efficiently. I was especially impressed by their welcome box, suggested timeline, and pre-wedding questionnaire so that they have every detail of your day ahead of time. I am SO glad that due to the pandemic changing our plans in 2020 that we chose to switch photographers to Alicia Lucia Photography. Our wedding photos from the Pecos National Monument are absolutely stunning, and I am continuously getting compliments on them over a year later. I know that we wouldn't have been able to get the romantic, intimate, and authentic photos that we did had we chosen anyone else for our photographer. Their team was also gracious enough to schedule with us again for our 2021 New Mexico celebration. We were lucky to work both years with the same photographer, Ashley, and assistant, Jaclyn. Alicia and team went above and beyond for our wedding. Our original wedding was scheduled at Los Poblanos, but was cancelled due to the pandemic. They were there with us every step of the way as we planned and re-planned our wedding date. During our engagement session and our wedding, Alicia and her team were so warm and easy to work with. Aside from being extremely professional and capturing photos that were better than we could have ever imagined, we appreciated having a photographer that was excited to be working with us as an LGBTQ+ couple. We were excited to work with Alicia from the beginning. She and her team were amazing to work with through the whole process. We initially had a wedding planned at Los Poblanos in ABQ, but had to reschedule due to covid and the venue cancelling. Alicia was able to stay flexible, and we replanned our wedding here in Denver. She drove up from Albuquerque and really made the day incredibly special. Honestly, it was so amazing that she was up for making the drive, and committing to our original wedding contract. We couldn't be more pleased that we chose to have Alicia shoot our wedding. The photographs were absolutely beautiful - they look like they should be in a magazine. Neither my husband nor I are particularly photogenic, but somehow Alicia and her team made us feel comfortable and managed to capture sweet, intimate moments and make us look great. The engagement shoot included in the package was so helpful and allowed us to get to know Alicia and relax more for the photos on our wedding day. The engagement photos were also so wonderful that we had total trust that the wedding ones would be great, too, and that was one less thing we had to worry about. We chose Alicia over some other phototgraphers whose prices were a little less because we loved her work. As a compromise, we decided to book her for 6 hours rather than 8. It's amazing how many fantastic shots she and her team got in 6 hours! It was absolutely the right decision for us and we are thrilled with what we got. Her shots were creative, really took advantage of our unique venue, and gave us tons of portraits to choose from. She is also a total pro, from the care package she sent us initially (I won't spoil the fun and tell you what's in it) to the small magazine she includes with photo tips for the day, she has a very polished and professional business. Look no further than Alicia and her team to photograph your wedding! We had such an amazing experience from the first communication right up to the day of our wedding! We weren't able to make the trip to meet Alicia ahead of time, but we felt so at ease the second we met Alicia on the morning of our wedding! She and her team are so professional, but also fun and personable and made taking our wedding photos such a blast. The team had great knowledge of all the shots they should try to get but they also listened to what specific shots we wanted (or didn't, ha!) I loved that every thing felt very natural and not posed. After the wedding, we received our photos while we were still on our honeymoon- not even 10 days later- which was awesome because we were so anxious to see them! We couldn't believe how many amazing photos they captured- of every aspect of our wedding that we never want to forget! From our engagement shoot to the wedding itself, she had all the tiny details covered, and her abilities made everything about our day that much more beautiful. Alicia and her team are INCREDIBLE! She was so easy and fun to work with, I can’t say enough great things about her company! She has this amazing way of making you feel so comfortable from the moment you meet her which immediately puts you at ease. She got our enagment photos back to us with 2 days and they were spectacular! I thought we would have to wait forever for our wedding photos and she had them back to us within a week! She was so amazing to work with and not only is she an amazing photographer, she is an all around amazing human who I am so proud to know! We will definitely be working with her again in the future!

Having an out of state wedding was (we thought) going to make finding a photographer difficult. You can look at portfolios online, but with a limited number of pictures you are not sure if that is what you are really going to get. Having seen (lots of) Alicia's work online, and being friends with some of her other clients, we knew we wanted her to be involved in some way as her style captivated us with every picture of hers we saw. While looking online for photographers, we contacted Alicia and explained our situation with the out of state wedding, but that we wanted her to do our engagement photos. Imagine our surprise when Alicia informed us that (1) she has travel packages, and (2) she had availability for our wedding weekend! Alicia's travel package was competitively priced with local photographers we were considering, so it only seemed fitting to take a photographer that was getting to know us and that we were both comfortable with up to document our special day. Posing for engagement and wedding photos is awkward, but Alicia makes the experience feel so natural. You almost forget the camera is there, and then you see the photos that perfectly capture the moment and have everyone who looks at them in awe of the beauty. Our shots ranged from wedding party pictures in a wooded park, an outdoor ceremony with the late afternoon sun behind us, and a reception in a dimly lit museum... all turned out beautiful and perfectly capture the moment.
