on a Zoom to get to know her and looking through some albums, we decided to move forward with her. Our biggest deciding factors were: 1) Her level of professionalism, responsiveness, experience and organization, 2) How beautiful her albums were (style, capture of key moments / emotions, how genuine and vivacious the photos were), 3) Her reviews and 4) her personality. We kept in touch with Ali for the next few weeks but got a true taste of working with her during engagement photo shoot. She helped us decide what outfits to wear and where in Boston to do our shoot. I highly recommend doing an engagement shoot with her as it gave us an opportunity to become comfortable with having a camera aimed at us and we really got to know her (so that by the day of the wedding, it was like having a close friend photograph us). As we planned our wedding, Ali continued to be a very important factor in a lot of the decisions we made while wedding planning – from our wedding palette to where we would do our first look to our wedding timeline. She was always very thoughtful in her responses, and I completely trusted her opinion. On the day of our wedding, Ali and her assistant (Tara) showed up early and got right to work. As we got ready, they were able to capture moments without us even realizing they were there. And when it came time to doing more formal pictures, they were able to guide us on how to pose so that the pictures looked natural. They brought a light, fun and calming feel to the day and made everyone in our wedding party super comfortable, while staying super organized and on time without sacrificing any pictures or moments. It is also important to note that we had a separate videographer and I had read reviews that sometimes the photographer and videographer clash and fight over key moments. From the start, Ali worked very well with our videographer. Despite a busy wedding season over the summer, Ali delivered a sneak peek just days after our wedding. In the sneak peak, she shared some very beautiful moments that we were able to share on social media. They also were such a great teaser for all the wonderful pictures that were to come just weeks later. Just as the memories and magic of our wedding weekend were starting to wane, Ali then delivered our entire wedding album which allowed us to relive our wedding once again. We absolutely loved the pictures. There was an ample and great mix of portraits. She captured a lot of details (décor, floral arrangements, cocktail hour, food) that as a busy couple, we missed the day of. Most importantly, Ali and her assistant were able to capture genuine, emotional and very candid pictures of our parents and of us as we shared our vows. They also managed to get photos of every single guest (we had a wedding of ~150 guests) and because the album release came so early, we were able to print out pictures of every single guest and include individual prints in our thank you cards. It is so nice to now visit friends’ homes and see pictures from our wedding on their fridges or in frames. We were so happy with the outcome of our photo albums – both in the quality and the diverse and comprehensive mix of photos.

As I was planning our wedding, I had heard from a number of friends that their #1 regret from their weddings was that they didn't do enough research to find a good photographer, so their photos were disappointing to look back on a few years later and didn't really capture their memories of the day. The photos from your wedding day are some of the only tangible things you keep after your wedding, they said, so it's worth really finding someone who values getting the best possible photos for it the same way you do. In working with Ali, that's exactly what it felt like - it seemed like she was just as excited to be there, just as passionate about capturing the beautiful moments of the day, and cared just as much about how every little detail as my husband and I did. She was, hands down, my favorite vendor to work with and I would absolutely recommend her x100000. The photos Ali took at our wedding are absolutely STUNNING. She managed to get the two of us - who are super awkward and generally uncomfortable in front of the camera lol - to look SO GOOD in such truly gorgeous shots that I seriously can't believe it's even us. (But to clarify - they're not crazy airbrushed, they don't have intense filters over them like some other wedding photographers use - they look like us, just extra confident and happy in front of the camera because of how comfortable Ali made us feel!) She was also extremely accommodating of all of the.... personalities.... of various family members/guests on the wedding day. There's a lot of *energy* when a wedding party is getting ready, and she handled it all so positively and gracefully while helping to keep us on schedule. When we had some family members with accessibility challenges, she helped us figure out a scenic location with paved, flat pathways that we could use to make sure everyone could access without a problem and still get a beautiful background for family photos. She even came out with us on a sailboat for a ~35 minute ride around the harbor to capture some crazy beautiful shots of us toasting to being newlyweds! I'm SO thankful she was so willing to go above and beyond to capture some of my absolute favorite photos of the day. It was so much fun having her out there with us! (Ali's assistant photographer Shannon was also fantastic - she was even on top of all the details that others would've forgotten (like reminding the boys to remove wristbands so they wouldn't appear in the photos)! She was so much fun to work with, too!)

ere looking for in a photographer and after seeing her previous work, we were set. We aren’t particularly confident in front of a camera so doing an engagement photoshoot seemed a good way to go, not only to build some confidence but also to meet Ali whilst we were visiting the US (we normally reside in the UK) and to get an early experience of what the person responsible for capturing our big day was like. This was one of the best things we did in the lead up to the wedding as Ali was great, so personable and professional at the same time. After our engagement shoot was done, a short couple of weeks later we received those pictures back and were so happy with them! Great pictures which captured real moments and really helped build our excitement for what our wedding photos would look like after the big day.  When the wedding came around, Ali arrived on the day to capture myself and my bridesmaids getting ready. We also opted to have a second photographer whom was downstairs with the guys and capture various detail shots before guests arrived a few hours later on. For the most part, our main photos were taken before our ceremony took place which was great as it left us able to enjoy the day and not take us away from when the party started! After working with us to collate a list of the photos that we wanted captured, we can honestly say since receiving our photos that there isn’t one picture that we feel we missed out on from the day. The photos were uploaded to Ali’s website in around three weeks after the ceremony, which was so much quicker than we expected! There’s so much more we could say about Ali but the importance of good photos on your wedding day is paramount. When the day is done and you’re reminiscing about it shortly afterwards, the inevitable “I wish we could do it all again” conversations begin and whilst that obviously isn’t going to happen, we’ve both found Ali’s pictures really do bring it back to life and we now have those to look back upon fondly for the rest of our lives. We give the highest of recommendations to Ali!

We first got engaged in August 2019 and from the start Ali was so easy to work with and so organized. When the pandemic hit, Ali was so accommodating and willing to postpone our engagement shoot and wedding day shoots. Ali also comes extremely prepared. Before our engagement shoot, she scoped out locations and lighting for the best shots. On wedding day she also arrived early to make sure we got our full day's worth of shooting on time. Ali takes feedback very graciously. If there was a pose or shot we didn't feel comfortable doing, Ali immediately pivoted - no sweat. Ali was also absolutely critical on our day of - our trolley down and so we had to quickly rearrange the order and timing of shots. Ali and her second photographer Jen (who was also amazing!) were all over it and were able to fit in all our shots in the original time allotted. Ali quickly got us sneak peaks of both our engagement photos and wedding shots so we were quickly able to enjoy them. We have also gotten SO many compliments on how gorgeous the shots are. Ali's filtering is very natural, and she really is able to capture the candid moments perfectly (while also making you look flattering). I absolutely cannot recommend Ali enough. If you have the opportunity to book Ali, DO IT!!!!

Since it was a small wedding, she was the only shooter and i was just amazed at the ground she covered. She perfectly captured our entire day and the photos are beautiful. But the best part about Ali is her amazing personality, she is a delight to work with. She is so organized and thought of everything ahead of time, down to what hanger I was going to hang my dress on! She wrote out the most amazing detailed schedule and stuck to it on the day of, causing the day to run so smoothly. I felt entirely relaxed with Ali in control. When we did our first look and photos together, Ali kept as laughing and smiling the whole time and erased any nerves we might have had. During the ceremony and reception, she was unobtrusive but managed to capture every guest and all the most important moments. She delivered our final gallery very quickly and we are completely happy with the final product. Definitely hire Ali to be your photographer!
