With encouragement from her husband and good friends, she decided to try live painting at weddings. After working at her first event in March of 2020, she discovered a love for capturing special moments from a couple's wedding through paint. She has now painted for over a dozen events and is excited to work at more. Alicia Rogers Fine Art's services begin with a consultation, in which Alicia discusses with the couple their vision and what they want to be captured from their special day. This scene could be from the ceremony, cake cutting, first dance, or another moment entirely. On the wedding day, the artist then arrives before the event begins to take photos for reference and start the painting. She then begins painting the couple onto the canvas, by which time guests can watch her work. After the event, Alicia brings the painting home for final touches and to apply a sealer, helping to ensure that the painting can be a long-lasting heirloom.
