Alicia's Makeup Artistry

Alicia came out and did my bridesmaid's and I's make up for my wedding at Roca this last weekend and I seriously could not have asked for better! She did flawless makeup and was super accommodating to some special requests that we had with allergies and a last minute add on. I can't thank her enough for everything. My makeup was done before 11am and was still looking perfect at 1am when I took it off before falling asleep. Would definitely use again for anything that I want to look amazing for. Plus she brought her own music and a great attitude was just really fun to be around.

Alicia is amazing. I was really nervous picking a makeup artist, because Nebraska is predominately Caucasian, I was afraid to book someone who did not have experience working with African American skin or products. Alicia nailed it, and if well versed with darker skin tones.

I could not be happier that I found Alicia for wedding makeup. I waited until the last minute to reach out to makeup artists and luckily Alicia was available at the right time. She already had one bridal makeup appointment before mine and one bridal appointment after, but she still fit our wedding party in during the open 3 hour time slot she had. She did an incredible job for our entire wedding party, moms, and myself. It is rare that 8 people all walk away happy, and that was the case with our group. She did exactly what I had envisioned and more. She was so easy-going and fit in with our group so well, which helps put the whole morning at ease. And she was so reasonably priced! Very thankful for Alicia and her services!

Alicia is wonderful! She also is an early bird! Thank goodness too! We started makeup at 6 am in Omaha and Alicia came all the way in from Lincoln. In our wedding party there was a variety of skin tones and types and Alicia perfected each of us to our very best! I cannot say enough nice things about her and her professionalism and attention to detail are second to none! She is wonderful! Book her soon!

Alicia was a vital part of my beauty team for my wedding day. When she was done and showed me my face in the mirror, it took my breath away. I felt like a princess! I already knew I would look fabulous under her talent, but her work on my wedding day knocked my socks off! Don't have any hesitations booking her. She's truly an exceptional person and artist and really listens to what you want. She also did makeup for a bridesmaid and mother of the groom. Both looked stunning and were very happy with her work. I was extremely happy with the way Alicia did my wedding makeup. She did makeup for me, my five bridesmaids, and my mom. Everyone looked amazing, and the makeup lasted all day and night. Everyone's makeup looked natural and photographed really well.

WOW, Alicia did an amazing job at making me feel beautiful and look stunning all day on my wedding day, which was on October 10th, 2015. First of all, she is reasonable and flexible. My two sisters and my mom decided that they wanted their makeup done a week before my wedding. I contacted Alicia to reassure my family that I tried; even though, it probably wouldn't be possible. Fortunately, Alicia was able to meet earlier. In addition to being flexible, she was able to drive to Council Bluffs to do our makeup to help reduce the amount of driving we had to do that day. [My wedding was in Irwin, IA, which is an hour away from Council Bluffs and 1.45 hours away from Lincoln.] Some viewers as well as some of my family may think [and thought] I was crazy to drive so far on my wedding day to get my makeup done, but in reality, it was so worth it to have Alicia do our makeup. Our makeup looked stunning and lasted all day. In addition to Alicia being flexible and having amazing makeup skills, she helps create a calm atmosphere. Alicia was able to help calm the beginning of the session as my sisters got lost and were supposed to start before I arrived from getting my hair done. Another point to point out, I live in WA state and had my wedding in Iowa (where most of my family lives). Due to the distance and amount of time before my wedding, I decided I didn't need to do a trial with Alicia due to the many amazing photos of beautiful ladies she has done before. When Alicia did my makeup on my wedding day, I was glad that I didn't doubt her. She did an amazing job, and I felt and looked beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest of my wedding photos. The makeup looked great in the couple of sneak peek photos that I have seen. The makeup lasted all day. My makeup was done at 10:30 am, and the night ended at about 10 pm. I wish I could attach a picture to this review...I guess you have to check her website or facebook page yourself! Hopefully, my review doesn't stress you out. My wedding day did go very smoothly. Also, on top of having amazing makeup skills, Alicia gave me guidance in curling my mom's hair. She truly is talented, professional, friendly, and overall amazing! You won't be disappointed.

I can't say enough about Alicia as a person, and a professional. I know that makeup is not the most important part of your wedding day, but for me to feel comfortable and able to focus on the important things, I need to feel confident, and Alicia did an amazing job with my makeup. I don't usually wear a lot of makeup and Alicia made sure I felt comfortable, and loved my look. She also did my mother, mother-in-law, bridesmaids, and sister-in-laws makeup and everyone looked amazing. We really had a huge variety of skin types and she did great on everyone, and no one had problems with makeup wearing off-which was astonishing considering how oily my skin is. I felt so comfortable around her and I'm so glad I had her there for my big day!

Alicia was amazing!!! She did my mother's, groomsmaid, and my own makeup for my wedding!!! She is so sweet, affordable and talented! She listened to what I wanted and made me feel so beautiful on my special day! I would highly recommend using her for any occasion!!

I blindly booked alicia after seeing her listed on the knot...It was an awesome decision! She came from lincoln to fremont on a outrageously hot June day to do my trial and she did so good! Very professional and all brand name quality makeup. After the trial she was very okay with doing little tweaks for the big day. On the wedding day she showed up on time and her small talk was a big help for calming my jitters :) I owe a lot of how beautiful I felt that day to her makeup work. Use her you won't regret it!!

I was more than happy with Alicia and my make up on my wedding day. I had a bad experience with the person my friends had booked for me initially and we called Alicia at the last minute to come save the day. She was totally accommodating and fun to work with...she actually LISTENED to what I wanted (I'm not your typical bride who likes the airbrushing and the dramatic look). I can honestly say that when she did my make up and I looked in the mirror, I felt like ME, just a more beautiful version of me that I'd ever seen. I did not look in the mirror the rest of the day/night because I felt so beautiful and knew that I looked my best. I spent all of my time, thoughts, energy on enjoying our day and celebrating with loved ones. You CANNOT go wrong with Alicia! In fact, I want to set up an appointment with her for make up lessons!

I have never felt so beautiful as when Alicia does my makeup. She did my makeup for both my engagement pictures and my wedding and both were amazing all day! I felt like a more beautiful version of myself! I would highly recommend Alicia's services! She's amazing!
