As a bride, I cannot write enough of words to recommend Alicia’s Photography. From our first meeting, I knew I had nothing to worry when it came to preserving our precious wedding memories. Samantha answered all of my questions and send me examples of her work in different locations, which help me pick just the right locations for both my engagement pictures and wedding pictures. In addition she delivered images that were beautiful and captured the essence of our big day. Like most couples we did not want pictures that felt “forced” or “poses.” Instead what we have is a collection of images that captured the real smiles, the tears, and the love and that will forever remind us of our special day. I cannot write enough to recommend Alicia’s Photography. In the world of weddings and uncertainties, Alicia’s Photography is a guaranteed beautiful memory of the first day of the rest of your life.

We had Samantha shoot our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos and we were extremely happy with not only the photos but with working with Samantha as well. It was as comfortable as working with a long time friend and that really is a positive when dealing with photographers. Personable and professional, we couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

We had Samantha shoot our engagement photos near Starved Rock, and I can NOT be happier with the outcome. She kept things light and comfortable, which I'm sure made the photos come out more genuine. Her styling and editing skills are beyond what I could even imagine -- the results are STUNNING!! Book Alicia's for your engagement and/or wedding, you won't regret it!!

These girls are fantastic. My husband and I were a little anxious about choosing our wedding photographer because we don't love getting our pictures taken and usually are not the most photogenic, but the girls at Alicia's Photography worked their magic and made the most beautiful photos. We both felt very comfortable doing engagement and wedding day photos with them, and for that I am SO grateful. Not only do they have amazing photography/editing skills, but their personalities are incredibly warm, kind and just what you will need to calm the wedding day nerves. Please do yourself a favor, and choose Alicia's for all your wedding photography needs!!

Choosing to work with Alicia's Photography was the BEST decision we made through out planning our wedding! Samantha & her husband Jeffrey are the most talented, kindest, & honest people you will meet in the industry! Would not recommend Alicia or her team as a wedding photographer. I believe her style is better suited for portraits. My daughter had a horrible experience with this company for her wedding. My daughter was not happy with the engagement photos and when she voiced her concern she felt that the team was angry by her comments. She was told that she could look for another photographer if she was uncomfortable, but as it was only a few months from her wedding she didn't think she would find anyone else and chose to stay with Alicia. In hindsight she should have found someone else. The week before the wedding I went with my daughter to discuss the day of coordination with Samantha (one of the photographers) and I mentioned that I would like to have her go around to each table during dinner and take photos of each group. I was told that they did not do these types of pictures. I was shocked as I have seen this happen at numerous weddings in the past. The day of the wedding Samantha and Alicia had difficulty organizing the families for group pictures. Samantha blamed this on my daughter and told her that it was because she did not send the list of photo groups. My daughter had in fact emailed her this list ( I had her go back after the wedding and check that she did this). My daughter is not confrontational, but I personally felt it was a little unprofessional to put this responsibility on the bride on the day of her wedding. My daughter then had to coordinate and dictate to her guests who was up for photographs. After the wedding, we received about 10 sneak peak photographs from the wedding. After that we had to wait over 6 months to receive a single copy of the digital edited photographs. We didn't even order a wedding book. This was extremely frustrating. About 4 months in, my daughter reached out to Alicia about when she would receive her photographs. She asked if could get one or two shots so she could send out a Christmas card. She was told that this was not possible and to use one of the sneak peak photographs. She was also not given a specific timeline for when she would get a copy of her wedding photographs. She had stood up in 3 wedding after hers that summer and all of those brides had not only received all of their photos but wedding books as well. She was extremely frustrated. After 6 months had passed, I finally had to send in my husband to request a copy of the contract and demand the photographs in a timely manner. We finally did get the photos after this confrontation, but I do feel it is important to mention it was over the contractual timeline listed. The photographs themselves were okay, but over 300 of them were in black and white. My daughter was again upset by this and asked Alicia for color copies of a few of these. She was again told this was not possible. This was frustrating as my daughter had picked a venue, color scheme, and church that had vibrant colors. This was all missed with the black and white photographs. Overall working with Alicia and her team was the only difficult part of the wedding planning process. All the other vendors we used were spectacular. I normally would not write a bad review for any business but I do not want another bride to feel the way my daughter did about her photographer.

Wow, these photographers do amazing work! You can let their work speak for itself and there is definitely a reason that they won Best of Naperville for their photography! They met some specific requests we had as well as took so many more amazing pictures than we ever could have thought of ourselves! Additionally, they work with some incredible hair and makeup professionals! Joanna Santoro did hair and Renee Beaton did makeup for my 5 bridesmaids, my and my husband's mothers, and myself. They did a unique look for everyone while making it all coordinate when we stood together. Everyone looked incredible and I could not have been happier!
