Joel from Align Film was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at Mountain Top Inn in Vermont in October 2021!! He was PERFECT!! We met Joel prior to the wedding and we knew immediately that he was a perfect fit! He was calm and kind and sincere and he really cared about getting to know me and my husband!!! Joel is a unbelievable. He flew down to the Caribbean for our wedding in December 2021 and made us look like rock stars. The highlights and feature length film are brilliantly edited and allow us to recap our special weekend for a lifetime. The cherry on top was the 4K quality which makes the footage look Oscar-worthy. Even more important, he’s a great hang, and someone who genuinely cares about the final product. Highly recommend. Such amazing videos created for our special wedding day in Vermont! We received both a short clip of 5 minutes that was perfect and easy to share, as well as a full video of 25 minutes inclusive of vows and speeches. We're thrilled that we went with Joel at Align for our wedding video! Joel was so friendly and easy to work with leading up to the wedding, including a Covid postponement. Joel was also super flexible on our wedding day, coming earlier than planned to get some outdoor shots before it started raining. Joel was PERFECT. From the very first interaction we had with him, it was clear he had amazing equipment (he looked much clearer and sharper than we did on our zoom) and a great personality. What made him truly special was that he actually got to know us and our personalities. A million times, yes! Having Joel & Boucher Visuals for our wedding videographer was one of (if not "the") best decision we could've made. We got married in Stowe, VT in July 2021 & we must have already watched our wedding video a hundred times. There is no reason not to have Joel as you videographer. His work is impeccable, he is extremely professional, and he’s just a generally nice guy too! We did not originally plan on videography but with COVID impacting our ability to have more than 4 guests we wanted a way to share the story of the day with our friends and family who could not attend, and then of course the added bonus would be a great memento for us as well. Thank goodness we did because I now realize what a mistake it would have been to not have a wedding video made!!!!! We chose Joel as our wedding cinematographer, and we couldn't be happier! He has such a great personality and was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. His professionalism was apparent throughout the day, he worked very well with our other vendors, and even beat us to the different locations throughout the day to make sure everything was set up properly, and that he was set and ready to go before we even showed up! It really felt like we had a longtime friend recording our wedding! The end result of the actual video was truly amazing. Joel was fantastic!! I can’t recommend him enough! To be honest, I was really undecided on whether or not I wanted to have a videographer. I went into wedding planning unsure if I really wanted videography, but I am SO glad I decided to go for it, and even happier that we worked with Joel. He produced the most amazing wedding video for us. He captured all the sweet and special moments with incredible attention to detail and simultaneously captured the wild energy of the dance party at our reception. I fell in love with Joel’s incredible videography long before I met and fell in love with my husband. It was 2014 and my best friend was getting married. We would sit on her bed for hours watching Joel’s videos and bawling our eyes out, both because of how amazingly authentic and beautiful his work was but also because we knew my friend didn’t have the budget to hire him for her wedding. Unbeknownst to her, her fiancé surprised her by hiring Joel and she was able to get her perfect wedding video. Fast forward four years and it was my turn to get married. I knew I had to hire Joel. I didn’t look into any other videographers, because I had been waiting for the opportunity to work with him. In my opinion, no one else’s work even comes close. My fiancé was on the fence a bit about making the investment as I’m sure a lot of grooms are (“aren’t the photos enough? Do we really need a video?....”). One day, he and his sister were talking about it and she said, “you know, the video was the best investment we made at our wedding. Brooklyn (their daughter) watches our wedding photo at least once a week.” That conversation sealed the deal and we moved forward with booking Joel. Then, a little later in the process, we made the decision to hire him for our rehearsal dinner as well, knowing that a lot of people would give speeches and that we wanted to capture the entire weekend’s worth of festivities. Joel was simply amazing to work with. He is not only kind, professional, organized, and relaxed, but he possesses this incredible talent to somehow stay deep in the background of all that is going on, yet he was right there when we needed him and took charge when needed to capture everything we wanted. People said to me multiple times throughout the weekend that that they didn’t know we had a videographer, that they never saw him, or that when they did, they were so surprised because he was so unobtrusive. He’s a cinematography ninja! We haven’t even seen our video yet, but I am so looking forward to the moment when we do. Joel was a dream to work with, we loved every minute of it. We are over the moon that we hired him and even more excited that we hired him for the rehearsal dinner as well. We want to relive our wedding over and over again and know that Joel will give us that gift. We can’t wait for the day that our son or daughter asks to watch it like Teddy’s niece so often requests of her parents. When we were choosing a videographer (from afar) I had calls with a few vendors. There was one other whose work I also liked and was cheaper, but I felt like the convo with Joel was so easy and comfortable that I'd rather spend the money to have the right person with me on the big day. I was on the fence about having a videographer at our wedding until seeing Joel's work. From the minute we met, as I was frantically running around doing last minute things, he was calming and professional. He and my photographer worked together and with little direction if any, Joel was able to put together a world or art. I barely saw him most of the day however he covered everything brilliantly. He was not one of those "in your face, scripted" videographers, he stayed out of the way while being able to somehow create something we truly love. I would recommend him undoubtedly and wouldn't have changed a single thing. Thank you Joel, everything was amazing.

Worked amazing with our photographer. Was accommodating when we had to switch up the rooms. Made us look amazing and the video was more than I could have ever imagined. If you're looking for a cinematographer in New England, Joel is your guy. My wife Sarah and I cannot express how wonderful it was to work with Joel during our planning process. Joel filmed our wedding in October 2017. Watching the video he produced on our anniversary reminded us that we never got around to writing a review. As a Bride, when I started the wedding planning process I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to hire a videographer. I thought that it could add extra stress to the day because I would be worrying about the videographer near me and my every facial expression, movement, etc. I knew I wanted to just enjoy the day and live in the moment. But I also knew that one day my husband and I would probably want to share our wedding day with our kids and grandkids. After hearing really great things about Joel, I decided it would be worth it. And it most definitely was! Joel exceeded all expectations as a vendor and videographer. On the day of the wedding he was a true gentleman and such a pleasure to be around. He made his presence known at the beginning of the day to check-in and make sure I was doing well, and to make sure he knew the things that I wanted to be captured. For the rest of the day, I barely noticed his presence. He graciously made his way around the ceremony and reception venue to capture every single detail… and I mean every single detail! We were beyond please with the final result. As we watched our wedding video (about 12 times the first day) when we received it, we were laughing and smiling the whole time. I am so thankful for all the special moments that Joel captured (even one’s that I didn’t even notice on the actual day), and the way he utilized his artistic skills to convey the gravity and emotion of the day. We worked with Joel as our videographer for our wedding in July 2017. Joel did all the photography and videography for our wedding, as well as our engagement photo shoot. He is incredibly talented, and both my husband and I are so glad we chose to work with him. We were so fortunate to find Joel to film our wedding day! Joel was so easy to work with. We received our final wedding film last week, and we have watched the film at least twice every day since. While wedding videography can seem like an "extra" when it comes to considering vendors and your must-haves, I can honestly say that choosing to have a film was hands down the best decision we made about our wedding. My husband was skeptical about hiring a videographer, because he didn't think a wedding film was a necessity. Well, I am happy to report he was wrong. My husband and I had a very long engagement and hired Boucher visuals as one of our first vendors. Joel worked with us for over two years, every time I reached out with questions he was there and offer ideas. Every single email was answer extremely timely. He captured our day perfectly. The film of our wedding beats our expectations, which were set very high after seeing the awesome work in their demos. Stunning wedding video! We could not be happier with Boucher Visuals. At first, my fiance was hesitant to spend the money on a wedding video, but he is so happy that I convinced him because the video is that good and really captured the emotions of the day in a way that photos cannot. We are so happy that we have this beautiful keepsake that our kids and grand kids will some day get to watch. Joel was so easy to work with and was extremely quick and responsive to emails. The turn around time on the video was about 5 weeks, which is pretty incredible considering the amount of work that clearly went into the video. My family kept saying that they didn't even realize Joel and his assistant were at the wedding, which is great because the last thing we wanted was someone in our guests' faces the whole time. We cannot recommend Boucher Visuals enough!

We had a May wedding in Vermont this year and Joel Boucher was our videographer for the event. Leading up to the wedding Joel was communicative and responsive to any and all emails and worked closely with our wedding coordinator. Joel was very pleasant and professional throughout the main event, and worked perfectly in sync with our photographer. Joel prioritized capturing natural moments and was not intrusive at all. The reception ran a little late but he was flexible and was able to stay longer too. We've just seen the finished video after a very rapid (approx. 2 weeks) turnaround time and we both loved it! Joel did a fantastic job editing and adding music, and the video highlights precisely the moments we most want to preserve (vows, toasts, etc.). We are very grateful to Joel for the wonderful wedding video he put together. If you're looking for a professional videographer in the Vermont area then you should definitely give him a call.

Joel was simply so incredible! My husband and I did not originally budget for a videographer for our wedding, but i must say I am so happy that we changed our minds. We came across Joel and met him at a food tasting with the Mountain Top Inn. We got talking with him and about our vision for our winter wedding. He showed us a video he had done for another couple at the Mountain Top (also in the winter) and we were so impressed. It was so obvious that Joel's work is out of the world!! We left that day knowing that we had to book him for our wedding. He came on our wedding day with his team, and they got started write away. He is so nice, and super easy to work with. He made everyone in our wedding party feel comfortable, nothing was forced, he worked around us and got some great shots. He stayed for our whole wedding. Fast forward to receiving our video-- we were so excited! We watched in blu- ray and the second it started playing my husband and I were both in tears! The visuals are outstanding, the music selection was perfect, and the way he incorporated certain details and told our story through video is so moving. He got every detail we wanted in our video without us even asking or planning it out with him. Joel definitely has an eye for what he does and extreme talent. My husband and I are so pleased to have this keepsake for the rest of our lives. We recently posted our link to social media for our families and friends to view and the reviews we have received have all been raving about Joel and his team. We cannot thank him enough, and HIGHLY recommend investing with Boucher visuals, it is worth it.

Joel did SUCH an amazing job on our wedding video. Everything was just perfect. He captured all of the highlights of the day beautifully...our video is something we will treasure forever! He was easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions I had. i am very grateful to have found Joel!!!!!

Joel did an outstanding job for us. We searched online for a good videographer and found some for $1500 to $1800 but the quality was very poor. For the extra money to get Joel it was a big decision but one with no regrets. His quality can not be beat. For something this sentimental it was imperative to have it done right, and you DO get what you pay for with Joel. We are very pleased and had a great experience with him. For something that lasts a lifetime it is smart to not settle on something mediocre to save a few bucks. Everyone who has viewed our video has LOVED it and we love it as well, making it well worth the cost. I was hesitant at first to spend so much money on this but my wife insisted and like I mentioned, no regrets. We now have a beautiful piece of art we can enjoy together as well as with family and friends for the rest of our life, and I will never wish we had went with the other guys to save money. You get what you pay for in life.

Do yourself a favor and hire Joel for your videographer. An extremely helpful, caring and professional person who will capture your wedding so beautifully - and you didn't even SEE him during the ceremony or reception. One comment that friends had told me when I was inquiring about whether I "needed" a videographer was that they enjoyed it but had only watched their video twice. My husband and I have watched it about 10 times already (only received it 2 weeks ago) and shared the short highlight version with friends and family that absolutely LOVED it. You will watch it more than once because it will help you remember that day that seems to go by so quickly. Give him a call and talk through your needs, and he will definitely capture your day so you will remember it forever.

I would like to start out by saying that my husband was VERY against us spending the money on a videographer. It was however very important to me because some of our loved ones would not be able to attend our wedding and I wanted to be able to share part of our day with them. Joel was recommended to us by our photographers and we could not have been happier!! After watching one of the sample video fusions on his website and finding myself crying over complete strangers, I knew he was a very talented story teller and wanted him to tell ours. Joel was always professional and a pleasure to work with from the get go!! We were planning our wedding from CT so all communication was via email and Joel was always very prompt with responses. The wedding day was a blur of amazingness for us and we were truly able to enjoy every moment know that it was all being documented for us to cherish forever. When we received our finished video we honestly felt like we were reliving our favorite parts of the best day of our lives. Let me just start by saying that this review is long past due as our wedding was in December 2014. We found Joel through our wedding planner, Jackie, two weeks prior to our wedding. We didn't plan to have a videographer as we already have a photographer. But my dad was not able to attend to our wedding due to his health condition and we were trying to find ways for him to experience our wedding without physically being there. But, boy, were we in for a treat?!?! Looking back, we are so glad that we signed up with Joel. He was attentive and non intrusive during the wedding. He worked well with Jonathan (photographer) and Jackie. We got our DVDs within five weeks after the wedding and he did such a great job editing. He captured cute moments that we would have missed (and we had a small wedding) and highlight important moments that we love to show our family and friends who didn't get to be there. So, at the end, I have to say that we are forever grateful to Joel for allowing us to relive our wedding day again and again as easy as clicking a button.

Joel and his team are truly incredible. Joel was extremely easy to work with leading up to our wedding. When our wedding day finally came, Joel and his assistant were a dream to work with. They were so flexible with weather changes, kept the environment stress-free, and every interaction was so professional. Following our wedding, Joel was great about communicating a timeline for delivering the video, and you can tell that he takes so much care into all of his final products. We were blown away with the quality of our film, it is above and beyond what we could have ever expected!

Joel and his assistant recorded our daughters wedding in VT in July. They were extremely professional and courteous. We barely even noticed that they were there, but they produced a magnificent video of the day. They caught all of the special moments of the day, as well as really cute candid moments that I missed. The music selection was perfect and subtle, not overpowering the visuals. The choreography of the video was fantastic. Joel took us from the beautiful setting to the preparations, the ceremony and then finally the party, seamlessly to tell the wonderful story of our daughter's day. We hired Joel to do our engagement photography, wedding photography and wedding videography for our wedding on June 13th, 2015, and are so thankful that we did! Once we booked Joel for photography we were still on the fence about splurging on the service that he provides called video fusion. We watched a few samples when we met with him initially and then again on the website later and ultimately decided it would be worth it. The final video fusion product that Joel provided us with - a combination of select photos and video clips set to customized music - was breathtaking! We were not originally going to have a videographer and i am SO SO thankful we did!!! And in particular, so thankful it was Joel. First of all, he had such an incredible kind and non-invasive approach, that everyone totally appreciated, yet he seemed to be there and capture every moment! Personality REALLY matters when sharing your special day with someone. Then, the video he created is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! Words can not express how unbelievable of an experience it was to watch the video Joel made, and how grateful I am to have had you him to capture all the moments so well. The way in which he put it all together was really truly a remarkable work of art and we will so cherish it forever! I can not wait to share it with family and friends. I love how he also captured so much of the beautiful surroundings, and the reactions on our faces. For a long time we were thinking that a videographer was a wedding expense that we could cut out. However, as our wedding date drew near and family members fell ill we decided to put out the extra money. With the wedding now only four months away we began scouring the internet with no luck finding a company we liked. So, we asked our wedding photographer for his recommendation which is how learned of Joel and Boucher Visuals. Upon exploration of his website we were immediately taken with his work. We decided to contact him. Even though he was out of town, we received a prompt, friendly and professional response (well within twenty four hours). We found Joel’s rates to be comparable to the other companies in the area offering cinematography services for weddings but found his product and talent to exceed them. We booked Boucher Visuals immediately. Lucky for us he had a cancellation for our wedding date! We, living out of state, did not have the opportunity meet Joel or Ali before our wedding. Upon meeting them we found Joel and Ali to be warm individuals and we instantly felt at ease in their presence. They both were very helpful and willing to step outside of their role as videographers. Ali even tracked down our missing flowers! Once the ceremony started rolling we forgot they were even there since they were so unobtrusive! Joel kept in contact with updates regarding the status of our DVD all the way through to the date it was shipped. We received our DVD within the estimated production time provided before we signed the contract. We watched the DVD the night we received it. Within the first thirty seconds of play we felt the final product was worth the investment. We felt confident at the time of booking Boucher Visuals that whatever the finished product was we would love it but even with high expectations to begin with Joel blew us away! The video was the perfect balance of sweet and fun. He captured every emotion of the day. Joel took a couple who saw no use for a wedding video and made them unable to fathom not having this incredible memento!
