We are so thrilled that we chose Alison Dunn Photography to capture our wedding day. Alison and her assistant Bridget gave great direction and made everyone in our wedding party feel comfortable. They photographed our entire day perfectly, without us ever feeling like we were being taken away from the party for photos. I woke up the next morning to sneak peak pictures, and we received the rest of our photos in record time - less than a week after our wedding date! We will cherish the photos forever, and HIGHLY recommend Alison to anyone getting married in the Philadelphia area.

Alison and Bridget were absolutely wonderful. Professional, responsive and organized. We had a small mini-mony because of coronavirus but Alison made us feel like it was still a real event. When we had to make some last minute changes they were incredibly flexible and understanding, working with us to make a plan. My husband and I are definitely people who shy away from the spotlight but Alison made us feel comfortable and I actually enjoyed having my photo taken. The photographs are absolutely beautiful and I am so grateful to have these memories preserved for many years to come. Will definitely be using Alison Dunn Photography again for our other life events!

Alison Dunn Photography (and her staff) is amazing! She cared about my fiancee and me and "our story" and it is so evident that she is passionate about her work. Leading up to wedding day Alison was very communicative and helpful with any/all questions. She is professional, supportive, calm, thorough, and AMAZING at what she does. I had so much fun with her on wedding day and taking photos with my groom! She captured genuine joy and happiness in our photos and it was a perfect day. I highly recommend her and would absolutely hire her again!

Where do I even start? Well first, we 110% give recommendation for ADP. I’m not the typical female that has dreamed of her wedding day since she was a little girl... don’t get me wrong, I LOVE planning parties and events but only when I’m not the center of attention so with that, I wanted to just go to the courthouse and save a boatload of money but since my now husband insisted on actually having a wedding then I told him I want a fabulous photographer, no matter the cost because if you’re going to spend months planning an event that only goes on for a couple hours, I have to have photos that will perfectly capture everything so we can relive it forever. When I came across Alison on our venues Recommendation sheet, I looked at her website, blog, IG, and Facebook- boy was I impressed! There was just something about her artistic shooting style that made it me instantly want her for our wedding. She was easy to communicate with from the start, had great packages to choose from, and was just genuinely nice to talk to. I brought A LOT of props to our engagement shoot and she was great in including everything- even when it was freezing outside (February). Our photos were ready in less than a week! Fast forward to our wedding on 11/24/2019- her, the second shooter, Meghan, and their assistant, Alex, were awesome! I sent Alison a down to the minute timeline that we were all following since we were on a time crunch and she made sure to keep us all on time so I didn’t have to worry about it. She did a wonderful job capturing our special day- using our smoke bombs, capturing the perfect watching-the-fireworks photos, and THE PUPPIES we had as special guests. Not even 3 days later, she sent a huge digital wedding album to us... definitely didn’t have to wait weeks or months to relive our day n like other photographers would’ve had us do. She was perfect and can’t wait to hire her in the future if any littles come into play. Side note: following her life on social media definitely made me believe even more that she was the perfect photographer for us. A dream of mine is to foster and adopt children so to see her already doing that, wow! What a selfless person. Thanks, Alison!

Couldn't be happier! Look no further! Alison was everything we expected and more. Hiring her was the easiest part of wedding planning because we knew that, with her at the helm, everything was taken care of. Having been in other ADP weddings prior, I knew that Alison's efficiency did not compromise her artistry. We had wedding pictures on our greeting table before the reception was even over! Her second shooter was phenomenal, her assistant was amazing as always, the Invisibooth was a big hit and we could not be happier with how our pictures came out.

Of the multiple decisions we needed to make when we got engaged, booking Alison as our photographer might be the best one of all! She truly is talented and has an eye for capturing beautiful moments. I really appreciated how she was incredibly organized (sending google forms to fill out for more information instead of inundating me with last minute questions) and she obviously has worked out a process to make everything run smoothly. She tells you exactly where to look and what to do to make the perfect picture. I also was really happy with her demeanor and organization during the event. She didn’t belabor the time spent taking bridal photos or bridal party photos (we were really hot!). She got great pictures in just a few minutes and had us moving along quickly to the next event. Her keen eye for good photography made the process seamless and the photos we received from her are absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend Alison to anyone looking for a wedding photographer or anyone looking to capture any special moment!

I came away extremely impressed with Alison, who we found via a couple of personal referrals. Her photography was excellent, but the personal service, flexibility, and the ease of working with her are what set her apart for me. The whole time, it felt like we just happened to have a close friend who wanted us to have great photos of an important day. If you give her a call and chat with her, I think you will understand what I am talking about, and she always came through for us. A few examples: • When we got together for engagement photos, she said something like “okay now I know that this is weird, but lean really far forward and turn your chin awkwardly to the right”. Sure enough, that was one of our favorite photos • After both the engagement and wedding photos, we got an easy email with everything included really quickly, which was very important to my wife who eagerly went through all of them several times • She met with us for an initial discussion like 2 days after giving birth to her child. I never would have thought to care how “committed” our wedding photographer was, but she really does stand out on this dimension • This story is the most ridiculous: to kick off the cocktail party, my wife used a champagne sword to slice off the top of a champagne bottle. Unfortunately, one of the shards hit Alison in the ankle, causing her to bleed a decent amount. When I went to go see how she was doing and to apologize, she was somehow apologizing to us, and regretfully telling us that she would have to step out but that her assistant photographer was really good and she would send an urgent text to her photographer friends asking for help. It was totally understandable and a professional response to a tough situation. But then the craziest thing happened. SHE WENT HOME AND GOT HER DOCTOR HUSBAND TO GIVE HER 12 STICHES IN THEIR KITCHEN, AND THEN CAME BACK TO THE RECEPTION, which she stayed at an hour longer than we were paying her for. Crazy commitment.

Alison is amazingly attentive to your vision and will capture every moment perfectly ! She’s incredibly efficient, sweet and kind. We received our photos before we got home from our honeymoon. I highly recommend Alison to make your wedding experience special ! Thank you Alison !

I cannot say enough good things about Alison Dunn Photography! Alison's photos are some of the most gorgeous I have ever seen and she truly has a talent to capture images that show real emotions and are not staged. Not only are Alison's photos the best ever, but Alison herself is so easy to work with. From the first time I spoke to her she was so genuine, she makes you feel like a friend not just a client. Alison is also extremely responsive, whenever I had a question she would answer it right away. She goes above and beyond to make you feel even more excited about wedding planning (I won't share too many details to ruin the surprises!). On the day of my wedding Alison not only took photos but made sure things were perfect for the photos. For example, she noticed my cake support was showing so she quickly added flowers to it so it would look perfect for photos. I would definitely recommend Alison Dunn Photography to anyone looking for a photographer- she is really the best :)

Choosing Alison as our wedding photographer was the easiest and best decision that we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. We were immediately drawn to her style of photography which is natural, simple, and absolutely breathtaking. She is so talented. Not only that, she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. We couldn't be more pleased with the way both our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out. Alison is extremely easy to work with -- organized, prompt, communicative. She helped us so much, even with aspects of our wedding outside of the photography -- from planning a timeline for the day to even recommending the wedding band we chose. Choosing Alison to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Her photos are beyond gorgeous and she is so wonderful to work with.
