was the perfect thing to make us confident that the wedding would go well. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, Alison was extremely responsive, supportive, and organized. She included lots of personal touches to get us excited for the big day and gave us lots of advice and recommendations when we asked. With everything else being so crazy, we felt like the photography was totally taken care of. The day of the wedding, Alison's associate photographers were extremely professional and positive. They helped the day run extremely smoothly and let us totally enjoy ourselves while still catching the big moments. Alison is an editing wizard and got our photos back to us so quickly. Couldn't be happier with the experience!

Alison proved to not only be a fantastic photographer, but also someone we could go to for advice throughout our wedding planning. She coordinated the most perfect first look, gave us a heads up for things like getting a wedding permit, and sent us tips and tricks along the way. On the actual wedding day, Alison was super reliable and did a tremendous job getting photos of people we pointed out like extended family and good friends. she took looked incredible we got married at a country club and the majority of the photos were taken on a golf course. I was concerned that it would look like a golf course in the background but she did a great job and you couldn't tell it was a golf course at all. Alison was also very flexible which is something that was very important to us. We had to completely change our wedding size and the timing due to some family issues and COVID. Alison worked with us to insure that she was scheduled for the appropriate time and that we got all of the photos that we wanted. She did a great job of taking the photos and making it not look like such a small wedding. I would definitely hire Alison again or recommend her to a friend. She is nice, professional and does amazing work!

he center of attention so with that, I wanted to just go to the courthouse and save a boatload of money but since my now husband insisted on actually having a wedding then I told him I want a fabulous photographer, no matter the cost because if you’re going to spend months planning an event that only goes on for a couple hours, I have to have photos that will perfectly capture everything so we can relive it forever. When I came across Alison on our venues Recommendation sheet, I looked at her website, blog, IG, and Facebook- boy was I impressed! There was just something about her artistic shooting style that made it me instantly want her for our wedding. She was easy to communicate with from the start, had great packages to choose from, and was just genuinely nice to talk to. I brought A LOT of props to our engagement shoot and she was great in including everything- even when it was freezing outside (February). Our photos were ready in less than a week! Fast forward to our wedding on 11/24/2019- her, the second shooter, Meghan, and their assistant, Alex, were awesome! I sent Alison a down to the minute timeline that we were all following since we were on a time crunch and she made sure to keep us all on time so I didn’t have to worry about it. She did a wonderful job capturing our special day- using our smoke bombs, capturing the perfect watching-the-fireworks photos, and THE PUPPIES we had as special guests. Not even 3 days later, she sent a huge digital wedding album to us... definitely didn’t have to wait weeks or months to relive our day n like other photographers would’ve had us do. She was perfect and can’t wait to hire her in the future if any littles come into play. Side note: following her life on social media definitely made me believe even more that she was the perfect photographer for us. A dream of mine is to foster and adopt children so to see her already doing that, wow! What a selfless person. Thanks, Alison!

Her second shooter was phenomenal, her assistant was amazing as always, the Invisibooth was a big hit and we could not be happier with how our pictures came out.

She tells you exactly where to look and what to do to make the perfect picture. I also was really happy with her demeanor and organization during the event. She didn’t belabor the time spent taking bridal photos or bridal party photos (we were really hot!). She got great pictures in just a few minutes and had us moving along quickly to the next event. Her keen eye for good photography made the process seamless and the photos we received from her are absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend Alison to anyone looking for a wedding photographer or anyone looking to capture any special moment!

, it felt like we just happened to have a close friend who wanted us to have great photos of an important day. If you give her a call and chat with her, I think you will understand what I am talking about, and she always came through for us. A few examples: • When we got together for engagement photos, she said something like “okay now I know that this is weird, but lean really far forward and turn your chin awkwardly to the right”. Sure enough, that was one of our favorite photos • After both the engagement and wedding photos, we got an easy email with everything included really quickly, which was very important to my wife who eagerly went through all of them several times • She met with us for an initial discussion like 2 days after giving birth to her child. I never would have thought to care how “committed” our wedding photographer was, but she really does stand out on this dimension • This story is the most ridiculous: to kick off the cocktail party, my wife used a champagne sword to slice off the top of a champagne bottle. Unfortunately, one of the shards hit Alison in the ankle, causing her to bleed a decent amount. When I went to go see how she was doing and to apologize, she was somehow apologizing to us, and regretfully telling us that she would have to step out but that her assistant photographer was really good and she would send an urgent text to her photographer friends asking for help. It was totally understandable and a professional response to a tough situation. But then the craziest thing happened. SHE WENT HOME AND GOT HER DOCTOR HUSBAND TO GIVE HER 12 STICHES IN THEIR KITCHEN, AND THEN CAME BACK TO THE RECEPTION, which she stayed at an hour longer than we were paying her for. Crazy commitment.

the best ever, but Alison herself is so easy to work with. From the first time I spoke to her she was so genuine, she makes you feel like a friend not just a client. Alison is also extremely responsive, whenever I had a question she would answer it right away. She goes above and beyond to make you feel even more excited about wedding planning (I won't share too many details to ruin the surprises!). On the day of my wedding Alison not only took photos but made sure things were perfect for the photos. For example, she noticed my cake support was showing so she quickly added flowers to it so it would look perfect for photos. I would definitely recommend Alison Dunn Photography to anyone looking for a photographer- she is really the best :)
