fell in love with her and her photos. Personally, she is kind and fun, which makes you feel comfortable throughout the day! She honestly gave off loving older sister vibes. She has a lot of experience, especially in the Pittsburgh area. Alison recommended areas to go for rain or shine and knew really great poses. Her talent and expertise is truly unmatched! I love our gallery and can’t even pick a top 10. She always checked in throughout our wedding, works great with kids, helped me with my veil, buttons on my dress and fluffing my train too many times. During the chaos of the day, she moved things around to accommodate the timeline. Alison and her team are a 12/10!!

knew, after that, we more than made the right choice in booking her for our wedding too. She was so helpful during the wedding planning - her communication was great and was helpful about recommending other vendors to us too. She worked with us to created a timeline for wedding day that worked for everyone involved. On wedding morning, she WAS EVERYTHING!!!! Of course things did not go exactly as planned when it came to getting all the girls' hair and make up done. But, I left it to Alison, and she coordinated everything perfectly to make sure we still got all the shots we originally intended to and made it look so easy! The morning could have been stressful, but with her, I never once felt stressed. I am so thankful for her! Everything was so easy. Alison and Alisa worked so well together in coordinating the guys and girls shoots to make sure that we did not see each other prior to the ceremony - something that was very important to me. After the wedding, Alison sent us the photos so quickly too - it was about 5 days after the wedding!!! I was so impressed. When my husband and I looked at them together, it was like reliving our wedding day. She captured every moment so beautifully, we were truly speechless. Alison and her husband Mike were so fun and efficient. Aside from taking photos, they were both extremely helpful with managing our wedding day schedule and lending a helping hand when needed. We had all of our photos back in one week, and even had surprise print outs on our sweetheart table! We were so impressed with the turnaround. Alison captured so many beautiful moments from our engagement session and wedding day, and we are so thankful to have these precious memories to look back on. The quality, color, and creativity of the photos are simply amazing and a dream come true. We continue to be blown away by her work.

At the time I got engaged, I had followed Alison's work on Instagram for years, so I knew she did many larger weddings because she is a very popular, busy Pittsburgh Photographer. I, however, was having a very small winter wedding, and wasn't sure if she would want to take up a weekend with such a small event. I decided to reach out anyway and Alison was so sweet from the first email, and all throughout our wedding experience! Alison and I worked together to create a package for a smaller wedding, and she gave us all the attention and care that I know she gives to her largest weddings! Our ceremony was at Phipps and the pictures we got there are so light and romantic and I will cherish forever. She did an amazing job coordinating and she is very efficient! Our dinner was at Hyeholde Restaurant, and the Roundroom is very dark, but somehow with her magic, all of our photos from the reception were also beautiful.
From the moment we met her we just connected with Alison. She has such a relatable, mellow, sweet personality that just puts you at ease. Alison worked over dinner and put a sample of our photos on her iPad to be displayed at the bar during the reception. She had a blog post of the entire day out while we were still on our honeymoon, and our total album of photos (1,046) to us 11 days after our wedding. The photo taking process was relaxed and casual, especially for a couple who does not enjoy getting their pictures taken. I was wowed by every single picture and was impressed by her ability to capture pictures that were truly "us." Our guests raved about how Alison was everywhere all night. Every time there was a photo opportunity, she was right there capturing it. She is worth every penny!

restimate the importance of this. You spend so much time with your photographer the day-of, I really feel like it's crucial that you get along well with them. She's extremely sweet and listens to everything you say: my fiancee and I were sure we did not want a first-look. Some of the other photographers we talked to tried to pressure us into one, but Alison embraced our views even though it made our timeline a little more difficult (She aced that timeline btw). If you want a particular shot, she will find a way to make it work, but she's also not afraid to give you her professional opinion. On the day-of, Alison was constantly with me and had so many helpful opinions. It was basically like having another wedding planner. That alone was priceless because there were so many times when I just couldn't think! She's accessible and responds to emails/texts quickly. Her platform makes it super easy to pay and see your photos which is huge. I got our FULL set of photos back within 2.5 weeks of the wedding. Anybody who hires Alison will love her work and love her personality!

She stuck it out through trudging through the woods for our engagement photos and sticking it out in the misty rain of our outdoor shots on our wedding day, and the pictures turned out flawless. My favorite thing about Alison Mish Photography (other than the beautiful photography) is the personal touch they bring to each client. Alison would check in with me through out the wedding planning process, she sent an encouragement note with a Starbucks gift card a month before the wedding for a caffeine boost on those last minute late night wedding planning, with our final photos we also received beautiful custom coasters with our wedding photos on them and a book on the language of love, even after all was said and done we still received a thoughtful gift for Christmas, our very first 1st Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. ornament for our tree! They are very genuine people and both my husband and myself are so thankful we hired them for one of the most important days of our lives.
