l inquiry, through the trial and wedding day itself was top notch - fast, clear, organized and always so sweet! During the trial, Alissa was so easy to talk to and get along with and made me feel super comfortable right away. While we were getting ready the morning of the wedding, all 7 of my bridesmaids and my mom had super positive things to say about Alissa and her assistant! The vibes were so fun and every single girl looked so beautiful and felt so confident. Everyone was able to stay true to their own personal style, too, which doesn't always happen with a bigger bridesmaid group! There were a few changes I ended up making from the trial to wedding day, but again, Alissa made me feel so comfortable when asking for those changes and she killed it!! My bridal glam turned out flawless and lasted all night long, through tears, dancing, sweating, eating - all of it!! I can't recommend Alissa and her team enough!!

She was so patient with us both as we expressed our desires for wedding day makeup. I am so thankful that Alissa was apart of my wedding day, not only because of her amazing makeup skills, but she is also so fun and so kind. She was constantly assessing my needs and meeting them, whether that was turning the fan towards me or encouraging me to drink water. I just LOVE her as a person! My makeup was everything I wanted it to be! My entire wedding was outdoors and it absolutely poured rain after the ceremony and my makeup held up SO WELL! I had multiple people tell me how impressed they were that my makeup looked no different from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the night. Any makeup artist that can perfect makeup staying on in pouring rain and 90 degree weather deserves all the praise! My grandmother also had a terrible fall the week of the wedding resulting in her entire face being black and blue. Alissa did my grandmothers makeup even though she was not originally on the list, which speaks so perfectly of her compassionate character. Alissa perfectly covered up the bruising and allowed my grandmother to feel beautiful. Alissa continues to be a friend since my wedding. I reached out to her for makeup products recommendations and she was so excited to guide me to the best products. I cannot recommend her enough. I'm so thankful for the joy she brought to my wedding day and the friendship I have built with her since I booked her.

Simple, when I say my makeup did not move through the ultimate test I mean it because I got married in a completely unexpected down pour! I’m talking kissing in the rain scene of “Sweet Home Alabama” and not coming back up the aisle with my mascara looking like battle war paint and my bridal day glow still in tack which continued to last the entire night. She matches all the energy and love you want in your vendor. She is extremely knowledgeable, cares and listens and wants you to look how you feel. She also has amazing connections so don’t worry if she tells you need an extra artist. She has you! She will make sure your vision comes to life whatever that looks like while also providing excellent suggestions based off her experience.

She is like having your BFF you have known for years doing your makeup but balances that with professionalism, expertise, and flawless execution of some of the best makeup artistry I have ever seen. She "reads" each client by both listening to their ideas for what they want to look like during the consult, while advising each client on what will look best to fit the client's vision. She anticipates what they want and need. She takes you through every step of the way and is so attentive to each client's needs - whether you wear makeup everyday or this is your first time getting dolled-up for an event. Quite honestly, she does SO MUCH MORE than just makeup - she transforms each client inside and out - it is extraordinary to experience and watch. She did my entire bridal party and female family members (all ages). Each woman was SO pleased with Alissa and her team's excellent work and greatly enjoyed the experience. They all stood taller and smiled brighter when they hopped out of "the chair." Alissa even recommended a local spray tan guru, Urban Cowgirl in Lynchburg, VA (shout out to them!) who did a flawless job getting my skin on-point for my wedding (no streaks, no orange, warm, friendly, and fun... perfect!). Anyways, I have had my makeup done several times before and this experience and Alissa's expertise and personality blew them all out of the water in a huge way. This is a wedding vendor that I will use in the future for photo sessions and special occasions - she will be my go to MUA from now on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Alissa (and team!)

One of my favorite features of myself are my freckles across the bridge of my nose, so when I told her that, she immediately agreed and helped to make sure they showed through the foundation so I could still have my favorite features shining through. I was nervous to have my makeup professionally done because I hadn’t ever had it done before, but she turned me into the most confident version of myself. I loved how I looked and the makeup lasted through SO MANY tears of happiness during the ceremony - super impressive! She does a great job keeping it natural and minimal for those who want it (like my mom and MIL) and does a fantastic job glamming it up for people who want it (like me). Not only is she an incredible makeup artist, but she’s also an incredible person who is full of kindness and enjoys personally connecting with her clients! Getting my makeup done was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day because I had a second to breathe, get pampered, and felt like I was catching up with an old friend of mine - highly recommend Alissa!

For my trial, I came in with a vision, without even showing her pictures I feel like she nailed it. After wearing the makeup for the day I decided I was too ambitious with my initial vision (I don't usually wear a lot of makeup) so the day of the wedding I asked if we could tone it back. I could not be more happy with how my makeup turned out. Looking back at the pictures, I feel beautiful. I wish I could have Alissa do my makeup every day. My bridesmaids looked their best as well. Also, not only is Alissa great at what she does, her personality is so fun to work with. I didn't realize this when I first booked my vendors but many of them were friends with one another. Our beauty team( Makeup, Hair, and Tanning Artist) all knew one another and spoke so highly of each other which made for such a friendly and warm environment.
