We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Alive Events for our wedding! From start to finish, everything was seamless and so much fun. Our DJ, Jon, was absolutely incredible. Alive events made our wedding absolutely amazing! Jon Divine was our DJ and we also had a live saxophonist. Jon was not only an amazing DJ but also brought the high energy as our MC. Throughout the planning process, Jon really listened to our requests and helped us create our vision. The vibes and energy were so much fun on our wedding day! The dance floor was filled with people the entire night and the music was so good. We also got to do voiceovers over our first dance song and Jon shared our love story with our guests as well and those details made our night even more special. If you want a wedding that your guests won’t stop talking about, we highly recommend using alive events for your entertainment!

My husband and I got married in September so this review is LONG overdue, especially considering how great Alive Events was at our wedding. We worked with Aldo, and it was by far the best decision we made. They're not cheap, but they are worth every penny. We spent so much time and money on every single detail, yet all anyone ever speaks about is our DJ. Multiple people have told me it was the best wedding they have ever been to and as much as I would like to take the credit, Aldo and his team really just know how to make a party, a party. They know how to bring energy and control an event like I've never seen. We are from New York, but got married in Maryland. We learned they do things very differently the further south you go, but we wanted a NY style wedding. We butted heads with a lot of our vendors because of this, but Aldo was so involved in the planning process and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was willing to be stern with our other vendors to make sure that our wedding was our vision, not theirs. I seriously could not write a good enough review. If you are between DJ's, choose them. If you don't feel comfortable spending the money, cut back elsewhere. End of story.

We got married in November of 2023 at David's Country Inn and hired Jon Divine as our DJ and Master of Ceremonies. From the moment we interviewed with Jon we knew that he was the one that we wanted for our wedding. Jon made the whole process run so smoothly and held our hands every step of the way. We loved how personable and responsive he is. He truly wanted to make our wedding day so special and make it an evening to remember. Our guests raved about him and continue to rave about him to this day. We especially loved how he told our wedding story and integrated voice-overs into our first dance. His introductions of our wedding party and ourselves was spot on. He pumped the crowd up and got everyone on the dance floor. His use of sound mixing and song transitions were incredible and nothing like we have ever heard. Jon is a true professional in every sense of the word and deeply cares for his clients. We recommend Jon and Alive Events to everyone - you will truly not regret it and have a day to remember forever!

There is no one better than Aldo Ryan and Jon Divine when it comes to wedding entertainment. They truly brought the life to the party. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process and helped to guide us in planning the ceremony and all aspects of the reception. They brought up details that we would’ve never even thought of! All my guests are still raving about how much dancing they did all night and how great the music and entertainment was. Everybody at my wedding had nothing but rave reviews about Alive Events. The combination of Pat Soldi and DJ Joey D was bar none the best musical combination I've ever seen at an event. Music is really important to me and my husband. We love to dance and we wanted our guests on the dance floor full all night. A DJ can make or break your party. We booked DJ Jon Divine with Alive Events and I am so glad we did. Here's why he was fantastic: 1- Most importantly, he delivered. Everyone was on the dance floor. He played a great selection — our friends and also our parents, their friends, my grandmother(!) and our family were all out there. We got so many compliments on Jon as our DJ. He loves what he does and is a real DJ. He's got great energy. 2- He’s super responsive and listens to what you want. He'll make recommendations if you want them. As a bride, I was getting stressed leading up to the party, and he honestly just took care of the timeline laid everything out, got my input, and made it easy. 3- I was surprised by how nice his equipment and lights were. He definitely has the latest and greatest with lighting and sound. I didn't realize how important this was to me. Everything looked and sounded great. 4- He pronounced everyone's names correctly! This is a huge thing for me because my maiden name and married name can be tricky. I did my due diligence to make sure I had a great DJ, and honestly, Jon went the extra mile. I am so happy that we chose him and hopefully this review helps another bride find a great DJ.

From the very beginning of our wedding planning process to the last song of the night, Alive Entertainment (and Pat Soldi specifically) was nothing short of spectacular. During the planning phase, they were attentive, accommodating, and shared insightful suggestions to enhance our vision. We reached out to Pat Soldi and his team after our wedding doubled in size a few short months from the big day and we realized we needed an MC. He was ready and eager to jump right in and help out. Working with Pat leading up to the wedding was great, his energy the day of our wedding was even better! He was very attentive to our timeline and paid close attention to older family members to make sure they were having a great time. He kept the dance floor packed all night! DJ Jon Divine and Alive Events were absolutely amazing to work with! Super professional and on top of it. I was nervous about finding a DJ to play perfect balance of Indian, Arabic and English songs for my wedding, and Jon managed to create a stellar playlist that catered exactly to my requests. We worked with the team for a handful of family events last year, including our wedding and wedding after party. Gennaro was an incredible performer along with Anastasia. Jon Divine helped us with so much of the event, including being the MC for our after party. The team went above and beyond, and the music was absolutely phenomenal. They even coordinated a five piece string group to perform at our cocktail hour and ceremony, which was absolutely magical and beyond my wildest dreams. Highly recommend to anybody and everybody to work with these guys.

Jon was the DJ for my wedding 3.31.23. My husband and I felt so connected to Jon through the entire process. At the wedding itself he was very involved with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. He gave advance on entrances and took control of that part of the night He played music to get the entire crowd dancing. our venue even commented they haven’t seen that many people dancing on the floor before. Everyone danced the night away and we couldn’t have images anyone else entertaining at our wedding. He also checked in on my husband and i through the night to make sure we were okay and nothing was missed. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for an amazing DJ who can read a crowd!

Alive Events (Pat Soldi & DJ Mooney) It is my pleasure to take a minute and write a 5 star review for Pat Soldi, DJ Mooney and Alive Events. I first spoke to Pat Soldi after nearly committing to one of his competitors. I was on the phone with him for less than five minutes and knew that if he brought ½ of the passion to the party that he was bringing to this initial call than we would have one of the best parties in the history of all parties! Pat’s energy on the big day did not disappoint, but what was almost more welcome and impressive was his organization and preparation leading up to the event. He sent gentle reminders on tasks we should be completing (both within his lane and with general party planning suggestions). We had two ‘zoom’ calls with Pat where he not only worked with us to set up the perfect timeline and set list for the party, but also really connected with our daughter who we would be honoring and may have had some slightly different priorities than we did! On the big day Pat and DJ Mooney DID NOT DISAPOINT! Their energy was at an 11 and although we had a very specific playlist (curated on their easy to use website) they were able to read the room and make adjustments where necessary. They were also prepared for any Audio Visual disaster and brought the necessary back up equipment to avoid snags, stress and additional costs. I could not recommend Alive Events, MC Pat Soldi & DJ Mooney enough. There is no doubt I will be using them for all future events and suggesting my friends and family to do the same!

I recently had the pleasure of having Jon Divine from Alive Events DJ our daughter's Bat Mitzvah, and it was an experience beyond what any of us could have imagined! Jon was professional, friendly, and had a great selection of music that kept the crowd dancing all night. He was also very accommodating and made sure to fit in all the special requests we had, no matter how eclectic they were. One of the things that really stood out to us was his ability to read the crowd and keep the energy up throughout the night. His talent and skills are simply unmatched, and we are so glad we chose him for such a special occasion. Alive Events was the first vendor that my now husband and I booked for our wedding and the ones we felt most confident in throughout the planning process. Jon and Pat were both easy to communicate with and reached out frequently during the planning process. Their online portal is great as it really allows you to take part in planning what songs you want to hear during your event and when you want to hear them. Our guests loved the music and Pat was awesome at keeping the party going. They were the best and we can't recommend them enough!

Jon is amazing and I feel like he's family now. His priority on our wedding night was 1) making sure Vinny and I were happy & 2) keeping the dancefloor packed!!! It was absolutely perfect and I think it's because Jon really personalized it for us and got to know us so well. I have no idea why Jon is not highly talked about like POSH. The dance floor was packed the whole night- the energy was unbelievable- Aldo makes sure everyone is out of their seats and is involved and partying! Gennaro of Alice Events made our company party one of the best! He was punctual and easy to work with. He read the room correctly and made the party a true fun event. I am still getting rave reviews from the attendees. Gennaro was fun and entertaining —- his choice of music was spot on. I cannot say enough good things about this company! I am truly blown away by their execution of our wedding, from beginning to end. Aldo Ryan (MC) , Doug Genuard (singer, guitarist) DJ Joe Disaronno, Mr. Perdomo (our percussionist) are talented beyond words. As guests at many weddings previously, my husband and I knew we wanted a DJ/band hybrid at our wedding. Not only did the team execute exactly how we had asked, but they went the extra mile in every way - the cocktail hour was elegant, the ceremony was memorable, and the reception/dancing was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I still daydream about our special day, I wish we could relive it time and time again. The team is super thorough in regards to planning and execution, and the way they allowed us to add song requests to their portal put our minds completely at ease. If I can give this company 10 stars I would. I have absolutely zero complaints working with Aldo. Thus far, all of my guests have raved about the music and entertainment. I had guests personally call me to tell me how incredible the music and entertainment was. They all said it was "the best wedding they have ever been to". Alive events is not just about music, they made it a full blown experience. All of your senses were heightened! There wasn't a single detail that wasn't perfected by Aldo and his amazing team. They are energetic, lively and the absolute BEST! As a new bride, I completely understand the frustrations and stresses of planning a wedding. But when I say that Aldo and his team made the entertainment aspect of the wedding flawless, take my word for it. I put nothing but trust into them, and of course, they completely exceeded my expectations. 10 stars!!!!!

We had Alive Events for our wedding with Gennaro as our MC and Jon Divine as our DJ. There are not enough words to describe what an AMAZING job they did. Guests are still raving! Huge shout out and THANK YOU to Gennaro for helping us edit our first dance song and coordinate a surprise bridesmaid dance, being super responsive, friendly and doing an absolutely incredible job MCing, singing, playing the guitar and keeping the energy high all night!!! We could not have asked for a better MC! We worked with Aldo Ryan to organize the event and put together the rest of our band and everything was very organized from day 1! Do not hesitate to book Alive Events for your wedding or special event! It was the best decision and made our wedding truly EPIC!!! (We also got their photobooth which was fantastic as well!)

Alive Events could not have been better -- professional, easy to work with, helpful, fun, organized, energetic -- and just killed it at our party last weekend. We worked with Jon to plan the event, which took a lot of pressure off, as he knew exactly what to do, made it fun, and had great planning tools for all the parts (song requests, speeches, etc.) He did a terrific job making the party a blast, along with Pat, who really got everyone dancing and Lucy, who helped teach us some dance moves and was just super fun to have on the dance floor. The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Jon from Alive Events! He made our wedding the most amazing party we could've asked for. We had a big ask of mixing country music with house music and making the night feel like a concert and not a wedding and boy did he deliver! Our friends and family are still talking about our wedding 3 weeks later and the first thing they say "Man your DJ killed" There aren't enough words to be able to say thank you to him and his team!

I can't say enough good things about Jon and Aldo and their team. I own an event planning company (Well-Dressed Events) and they've done everything for me from grand-scale awards dinners for corporate events (including band, DJ, step and repeat, photo booth and MC) as well as bat mitzvahs (DJ, dancers, custom swing photo booth, custom step and repeat, staging, custom dance floor, games, grafitti artists). I have worked with countless entertainment companies in my decade of event planning and these guys are THE BEST. They are my first call and go-tos for all events big or small. They CARE and they are honest, trustworthy and just damn good at what they do. HIRE THEM!!!!

If you are looking for the best entertainment, honestly Alive Events is the way to go. The second I got engaged, I knew we had to book Aldo Ryan and Alive Events for our wedding. From the moment that we starting working with them, they made it the best experience ever. The attention to detail and amount of customization that went in to our event, not only made my husband and I feel special but our families, bridal party, and ALL of our guests. From beginning to end, they work with you, listen to your vision, and make recommendations/suggestions that you would have never even thought of yourself - like the Flamenco guitarists at our cocktail hour or the string quartet when walking down the aisle. We just watched our wedding video and I have never seen a more packed dance floor! First of all, Aldo Ryan is the jack of all trades. He is the most amazing MC that really knows how to get the party going. He sings, he dances, and truly does it all. Douglas Genuard has the most incredible voice and their energy together is unmatched. The way that Douglas plays the guitar - I had guests video taping all of it!! DJ Legacy is hands down the best. He is literally a magician when it comes to the turntables. He knows EXACTLY what people like and played the most perfect mix for our crowd which included younger guests, older guests, American and Russian guests!! I was initially worried that people wouldn't have fun especially during these times, but I have 3 hours of footage where everyone is straight up dancing, smiling, and having fun. I have never seen my dad dance the way that he did. The energy that Alive Events brings is truly more than I could have ever asked for. The customizations they did for our first dance were so unique and special. I have to say, the saxophonist Ilya Gruzdev was INCREDIBLE. That was the cherry on top. The whole band was just phenomenal - Mia Wallace, Teona, Billy Cliff were just amazing. Also, their energy together really added to the party. Not to mention the sound engineer Dima who made sure that everything was perfect - not one squeak! I am taking the time to write this review because honestly, I want to recommend Alive Events a million times. I told Aldo that my #1 goal for our wedding is for our guests to have fun and they NAILED IT. Hands down - BEST ENTERTAINMENT THERE IS. PERIOD.

When we got engaged in 2018 we booked Aldo Ryan, Jon Divine, and Alive Events before anything else. Regardless of the time, the date, or the venue, we knew we were working with this team. Let me make this 1000% clear - we would not have had the amazing, energetic, most memorable party ever if it weren't for Alive Events. This man right here... is incredible. The passion, excitement, and joy that Aldo and his team have for each and every single event that they are a part of is clear. After working with Aldo & Jon, I know that my husband Bobby and I have made friends for life. There is no possible way to thank them for the time, energy, blood, sweat, and tears they poured into making our wedding the most incredible day of our lives. This team is DIFFERENT. They go above and beyond x100 to make sure that your event is unlike anything else you have ever experienced. All that I can say is if you have an event coming up, I promise you that your event is just as, if not MORE, important to this team as it is to you. Jon Divine and Joe Disaronno were great for my wife and my wedding. Music and visual effects were on point. The atmosphere at the wedding reception started off at a really high bar and it never dipped. People I never thought would be on the dance floor were because of the atmosphere that was created by Jon and Joe. Would highly recommend for other wedding couples.

What can we say about Aldo and his team that hasn’t already been said. We were looking for a long time to find the right MC for our wedding and spoke to many different people and different styles etc. We finally landed on Aldo and we couldn’t have been more happy with how everything turned out. There are two things you will immediately notice about him, he has such an open and engaging personality, you can’t help but feel energized just speaking to him! The second is how professional he and his whole operation is (especially when compared to some other people we spoke with). He met with all multiple times to set up the timeline and different minor details, he has a world-class website which helps you do everything from pick different songs for your big day, to enter information for your bridal party, to get the timeline ready down to the minute. Our venue initially said the would not allow MCs at all and Aldo worked with us and call them to help show his professionalism and vouch for the importance of an MC in our wedding. One thing that Aldo does which is truly unique is for our first dance song, we had a Voiceover of each of us talking to each other (we didn’t know what the other one said until the big day), it was something so special and all of our guests were truly blown away. He worked with us to incorporate Russian traditions which he researched as well, which was really important to the bride. He also recommended Jennifer as a Day Of coordinator and she was fantastic. It started to unexpectedly pour right before the outdoor ceremony start and Jenny was totally on top of everything and worked seamlessly with the venue to move everything indoors within minutes. Honestly it would have been 100x more stressful if we did not have Jenny and Aldo there to help us and make sure our wedding was the most magical day ever. We can’t recommend them more highly and you definitely will not regret hiring either of them!

The entire team was great with our postponement and was beyond accommodating they worked with us every single step of the way. They also created a stunning love story for us . I literally had to take my shoes off before dinner because I couldn't stop dancing. The music was on point and Aldo had everyone smiling and laughing even when they were sitting down!!! Everyone at my wedding cant stop talking about how great the wedding was and how much fun they had. Aldo makes EVERYONE get up from the dance floor. There was not one single person at my wedding sitting. Everyone felt the energy and so many people have made comments on why he is different and I had a few people at my wedding who have been to hundreds of weddings and said they've never been to a wedding like mine. From the first time we talked to him, my husband and I knew that Aldo Ryan was the most incredible vendor we got to work with. He cares so much and he doesn’t rush you off the phone, he will spend as long as it takes to plan everything out, address every concern and give you ideas to set your wedding apart. We had a very chaotic planning process because like many weddings, we were blending two very different cultures (in our case, Russian and American). He made it so that EVERYONE was dancing, not just one side by playing some classical Russian songs and then some awesome dance hits. He also has an incredibly user friendly website for requesting songs, for avoiding songs, and for planning every minute down to a T. On the day of the wedding, he kept everything running smoothly and helped us keep our timeline as much as possible. He was fun and entertaining and just an absolute pleasure to work with. We recently used Aldo Ryan entertainment for our wedding. From the moment I met with Aldo, I knew that he was the person I needed at my wedding to create the party I envisioned. Aldo provides a service that is personalized and unique. I have never met or have been at a wedding that had an MC with the ideas, energy, and presence that Aldo possesses. From the start Aldo was very detail oriented and genuinely cared about our event. He has so many great ideas and plans that will set your wedding apart from "typical" wedding entertainment. Aldo was easy to get in touch with and responded fairly quickly regarding any question or thought we may have had, whether it is was 6 months or two weeks before the wedding. He was completely professional throughout the entire process and even guided us through decisions that did not pertain to the entertainment or music. In addition to Aldo, his staff is phenomenal! DJ Executive had my guests dancing the entire evening! DJ Executive took the time to meet with us separately to go over the music we wanted. He listened to our requests and made sure we wrote them down. My husband is Haitian and I am Italian so we were concerned about the music and wanted to ensure we acknowledged both cultures in order to please our guests. DJ Executive had experience with these genres and was knowledgeable on this music. He played a great mix of genres from our request list and had the dancefloor packed the entire evening! Everyone was pleased. I can keep going, but I will run out of room! I HIGHLY recommend Aldo Ryan and DJ Executive! I can't say it enough and my guests are still talking about Aldo 3 weeks later! He is the first topic that comes up when people compliment us on our wedding! ALDO RYAN IS THE BEST!
