If you’re a music nerd with very particular opinions about music, hiring a DJ can feel like a terrifying leap of faith. Scott didn’t just meet my standards, he absolutely exceeded them.
I had carefully planned our cocktail and dinner playlist, only to realize in real time that it was completely missing the mood. Scott gently checked in and asked if I wanted to adjust course, and I was SO relieved he did. He saved the mood, the vibe, the whole thing. From there, he expertly read our crowd, using just a handful of song requests guests had submitted with their RSVPs to curate an absolutely perfect night of bangers.
Our dance floor was packed basically the entire evening. People weren’t just dancing, they were genuinely feeling the music and having an incredible time. Scott understood our crowd in a way that honestly felt like magic.
He was also kind, attentive, and incredibly sensitive to the more personal parts of our wedding, including navigating the fact that our Father-Daughter dance had to be removed from the plans after my father passed away during our wedding planning. He handled those moments with genuine compassion and professionalism.
It was clear from start to finish that Scott cared deeply about giving us an exceptional experience. He worked within our budget, brought an enormous amount of expertise to the table, and was worth every single penny.
I would hire Scott again in a heartbeat for any future DJ or emcee role, and I would recommend him without hesitation. I do not put my name behind recommendations lightly, and I can say with complete confidence: hire Scott. He was one of the most integral reasons our wedding evening turned out as spectacularly as it did.

Before the wedding, we were excited to work with Scott based on his great reviews and excellent communication. However, on the day of the wedding, it was apparent that he lacked enthusiasm and seemed indifferent about being there. His remark about playing his own music if guests weren't dancing was unprofessional and showed a lack of consideration for our preferences.
Additionally, despite agreeing to allow guests to request songs, Scott declined requests and expressed disdain for our music playlist to my mother-in-law. Throughout the evening, he appeared disengaged and did not make an effort to create a lively atmosphere.
I reached out to Scott privately after the wedding to express our dissatisfaction, but his response lacked empathy and failed to address our concerns adequately. While I understand that vendors may have off days, it's disappointing that our feedback was not acknowledged or met with any offer of a meaningful apology.
Ultimately, I cannot recommend Scott based on our experience. While he may have positive reviews from others, I urge potential clients to consider our experience and perhaps look for a DJ who is more attentive and professional.

For song selections on his site, I specified which songs to use for which activities (and sent links to anything outside of his database). The other selections were examples of music we like/things he could play to allow for greater flexibility/him to showcase his DJ skills. I would highly recommend this approach as he made things flow seamlessly when our timeline got thrown off/we were late starting the reception. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves/get their groove on. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding/what we were looking for and would recommend him in a heartbeat.
