All Around Town Catering

Cancelled via text message 3 weeks before the rehearsal dinner for 50 people! I originally contacted Mark 3 months before the dinner and he was very nice, secured the date on his calendar and offered to prepare samples of menu items. I had an appointment 5 weeks before the dinner to finalize the menu and logistics. He cancelled this meeting and asked that I call back the next week. The next Monday, I called back and again he told me I would have to call back the next week as they were just too busy. Again, I called back a week later only for him to tell me once again that I would have to call back the next week. At this point, we are 3 weeks away from the dinner and Thanksgiving holiday were the next week, which I noted. Mark became rude by yelling at someone in the room with him who was on the phone and that I could not wait to finalize everything until the next week. I then harshly told me to just pick any day/time, he didn't care, and he would make it work. I was so shocked at his yelling and tone that I just paused for a few seconds before saying that I would just call back the next week. Within 5 minutes of ending our call, he texted me "Unfortunately you will have to go a different direction"...."with a different caterer". Even though I was certain I did not want to do business with someone who would be so rude to a client, I also could not believe the owner of a business would cancel 3 weeks before an event that had been planned for over 3 months.
