All Dolled Up

The girls at All Dolled Up were everything I could have dreamed of for my wedding day! Jen and Kylie did an absolutely amazing job on my hair and makeup! I never felt more beautiful and they made me feel so special! They are extremely talented but also a wonderful presence to have getting ready with your closest girls. They took care of all of us and made sure we were happy with everything! I was so thankful to have them be a part of my special day! I made sure they were available before I booked my wedding date to ensure they would be there!

Jen and Carly were with me and my bridesmaids on the day of my wedding, and I couldn’t have dreamed up a better team. I met Jen months earlier for my makeup trial, and she was wonderful – explaining her makeup philosophy, helping me to relax about my engagement photos and how my makeup and hair would hold for the wedding day, and talking with me about her big family. It felt like I’d made a friend. Then on my wedding day, Carly did my hair – twice! It was beautiful the first time, and I asked for an adjustment. Even though I felt bad about asking, Carly jumped in to try what I’d asked, and with her guidance about what would work and what would not, the end result was absolutely perfect, exactly what I’d hoped for, and held all night long! Jen made me feel like a princess – natural and understated is what I’d hoped for, and it was perfect. Her makeup looks fantastic both in person and in photographs, and she does absolutely stunning, detailed work. All my bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law felt wonderful, and they talked about how magical Jen’s makeup made them feel for days! Jen took care of more than that! The hair and makeup team are beside you for some of the most vulnerable moments of your wedding day – helping you to look the way you’d imagined for months, and chatting with you in moments of nerves and wild excitement. Jen made sure that I ate, was warm and comfortable, and that I had plenty of time with my family while she went about helping us all to feel beautiful and cared for on that day. I am so grateful to her for that, and I’d recommend All Dolled Up to anyone planning their own wedding!

Jen, Carly, Shirley, Monse were our team for my wedding on 12/29/23. Jen & her team are absolute experts and handled my wedding morning like the professionals they are. They managed 15 women's hair & makeup services smoothly and efficiently, they were even done way ahead of schedule! My bridal makeup was flawless all night. Jen took feedback from my trial without ego or bias and adjusted the look to exactly what I wanted. The whole team was incredible, and all of my bridesmaids were so happy with how their hair & makeup turned out & even said the lashes applied were the most comfortable they had worn! I especially want to thank Carly & Monse for the care they took in doing my mother-in-law's hair and makeup. With shorter, more thin hair she was concerned about how to style it, and Carly executed what she wanted perfectly, she was beyond pleased. Thank you to all!

Having All Dolled Up for my wedding hair and makeup was nothing short of amazing. Jen and Meg absolutely crushed my hair and makeup and I can't say enough about the both of them. From my wedding hair/makeup trials, they listened and wanted you to feel absolutely beautiful! The team at All Dolled Up were absolutely incredible. They provided hair and makeup services for my April wedding, and I was thrilled with how my and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup turned out. From the hair/makeup trial to the wedding day, I felt like the All Dolled Up team really cared about ensuring I had the best experience. They totally nailed the look I was going for. The team runs like a well-oiled machine! They were done with hair and makeup for 14 woman early and everyone looked amazing! The whole team is so sweet! They truly care about making you happy and feel beautiful! Highly recommend them for your wedding day!!

This team left me SPEECHLESS!! I spent the night dancing and having the time of my life, and let me tell you… my hair did not budge!! Megan is incredible! Our makeup by Stef made us all look like we had a filter on. SO often I see makeup artists transform bridal parties into gorgeous girls, but they don’t look like themselves. I cannot say enough good things about All Dolled Up! My team of Stef, Carly and Jess were truly pros and made everyone feel comfortable with the hair and makeup process (particularly for those in my bridal party that weren’t people who usually wore makeup). The trial with Stef and Carly for my bridal look was extremely helpful and they were able to try out a few different styles in order to settle on the one that made me feel my best. When it came to my wedding day, both the hair and makeup stood up very well and lasted even with light rain showers. My older sister, who got married previously, even said she liked the hair style Jess did for her better than her own wedding! The only thing that I wish was different was being able to purchase samples of the makeup to do touch ups later in the day (that wasn’t an option and it was a bit tricky finding a lipstick match on my own).

I used All Dolled Up for my wedding in June of 2022 and am so happy I did! Stefanie did our makeup and Jess did our hair. We all loved the outcome of our hair and makeup, and it held up well despite a warm June afternoon! All Dolled Up is very professional and their response time is very succinct. I think they are reasonably priced as well and would definitely recommend!

I loved working with All Dolled Up! Jen and Carly were the makeup/hair team for my wedding day. They did a fantastic job with a variety of skin types, hair lengths, and comfort levels with makeup. Everyone looked and felt beautiful with and without lashes, and our makeup stayed all day through sweat, dancing and tears. I felt confident, looked gorgeous in photographs and my fiance still recognized me :) I HIGHLY recommend doing a bridal facial with Jen one or two times before your wedding day. It is an amazing, relaxing experience and it was so nice to have a rapport with Jen before the big day! My one complaint was that my hair did not hold up all day (to be fair, it was 90 degrees!). I asked Carly to take a second look at a section of my updo which felt insecure, and she said it was fine as it was. You can see in the photos that section is sticking out during the reception. I wish she had taken my concern a bit more seriously, maybe shown someone how to fix it if it fell. Other than that, it was a great experience working with All Dolled Up for my wedding!

Excellent, beautiful work! I hired All Dolled up for my bride squad for my wedding on 5/7/22. Carly and Shirley were fabulous. All of my girls looked absolutely amazing. They were both kind, calm and accommodating. They showed up early, prepared and ready to go. They finished my girls in a timely manner and listened to make sure the girls got exactly what they wanted. Communication with the salon when booking was great and they stay super organized. Thank you so much Shirley and Carly for a successful morning in glamming my bride squad!

When we started planning our wedding, one of the best pieces of advice we got was “Hire people whose talent you trust, and get out of their way.” This is exactly what All Dolled Up was… experts in their craft, not to mention the most kind, helpful, and empathetic group out there. These women are wonderfully knowledgeable (seriously, trust their advice!!) and they work hard to make your vision come true. Just as importantly, they give you sound and thoughtful advice if something is not a good idea/doesn’t quite work, AND they help you find other ways to make that specific “ask” happen. This team is also immensely gifted in the energy that they exude. Every time I came for a “prep” session (facials to get my skin ready; totally optional and holy cow is it worth it!!) or when I got hair/makeup my trials, I left feeling calm and at ease. They know how complicated wedding planning can be and they are genuinely there to HELP problem solve any issues, and I felt so lucky to benefit from the wisdom they’ve gathered with the million brides they’ve supported! To the Dolls: The work you guys do expands well beyond aesthetics. You helped me feel excited, comfortable, beautiful, secure, and like MYSELF on what was one of the most incredible days of my life. You did the same for my mom and MIL, my family, and my friends. For that, I’m forever grateful :)

Having the opportunity to work with the All Dolled Up team for my wedding was amazing. Kelley was responsive and kind. Carly is an absolute hair goddess and Jen.. Jen is a force. When I first met Jen it was for my trial. I expressed somethings about my upcoming wedding that I was less than thrilled about. She listened but did not judge. She was kind and guided me to make a decision – without being pushy, that ultimately saved my wedding. Jen was the calm in the storm that was our wedding day. Ten inches of snow near her house and an hour and a half drive to our venue and she was still early and ready to rock. She worked effortlessly with our photographer to adjust our timeline to make sure we stayed on track – a true sign of a professional. My bridesmaids and mother have never looked better or felt more stunning, and I can say with conviction that I have never felt more beautiful than when I sat in Jen’s chair. Having been a bridesmaid multiple times I can attest to the fact that the experience you get will All Dolled Up is unmatched. If you can, I would absolutely recommend pre-wedding facials with Jen. I swear, she is a super human. Thank you to the entire group of Dolls that got us All Dolled Up. I cannot wait to come back and see you again soon.

I was lucky enough to have ADU for both of my weddings (COVID and reception), and they were incredible for both. My bridesmaids, mom, flower girl, and I loved them and all felt so comfortable with the artists! They did a beautiful job; I'm not one for lots of makeup or fancy hair, but they made it feel natural and I loved it! Highly recommend!

I have recommended All Dolled Up to anyone I know getting married. I first heard of them from a wedding I was maid of honor in and was so impressed I knew I had to book them for my wedding. I sometimes feel like I don't look like myself with professional hair/makeup, but with All Dolled Up that was not the case. Carly and Stef made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and I still felt/looked like myself.

All I can say is WOW! I hired All Dolled Up for my 2020 wedding in CT. Due to a postponement, I moved my wedding to Maine and they were so accommodating and understanding about all the changes. I am SOOO glad they agreed to travel because they absolutely nailed how each of my girls and I wanted to look. None of us would have changed a thing! All of us were so excited about how our hair and makeup came out. They communicate with you the whole time and make sure your look is exactly what you want. If you’re going to put trust in anyone to make you look good on your wedding day it should be Jen & Carly! They made us feel confident and beautiful, not to mention they’re just pretty cool to hang with the morning of your wedding. Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough good things about Jen & her team at the dollhouse. Having a courthouse ceremony in 2020 and full wedding in 2021, Jen and Carly were there for each event absolutely nailing the look I wanted. Jen knew I wasn’t a big makeup wearer and gave me such a clean, enhanced, and beautiful look for both days. Carly was able to take the 5 different photos I shared with her and morph them into a different look for each event. The calming presence Jen has was exactly what I needed. She kept me focused and centered, despite it being 6am. Each of my friends looked beautiful. Jen and Carly are true artists and I’m so grateful for them to be able to capture the beauty of me and my husbands story!!

The ladies at all dolled up were more than what I could have imagined for my wedding day! Jen and Tash are absolutely incredible and took my vision to life and then some! COVID Bride here! All Dolled up is an incredible salon filled with so much talent. My twin sister gets her hair done with them so when I was looking for bridal hair it seemed like a no brainer. They were so accommodating when we moved our wedding from June to August. All the ladies are phenomenal! I was referred to Jess. Let me tell you, not only is she professional, talented but she has the biggest heart. My makeup trail was so fun despite covid regulations. She made sure I played around with looks and was very accommodating. She was respectful with some makeup concerns I had, and made sure I felt comfortable ALWAYS. The day of your wedding you don’t want stressful venders around you or ones who are late. Jess traveled to my location and was on time and ready to go! I had a rough morning with some family members and Jess was my therapist. She encouraged me and was the most kind person.. On my wedding day, we had to battle some rain and extreme humidity. Jess was able to take an inspirational image of the “feel” that I was going for, and turn it into the effortless but beautiful look I really wanted and make the look last! .My makeup was natural and glamorous! She was so flexible when we changed a few things at the last minute. Jess executes her work beautifully! Stop reading my review and just book these ladies! If not for your wedding, certainly for coloring/haircut services.

Jen was amazing and hilarious, she made our wedding day just absolutely perfect from the make up trial and making me feel so beautiful on our wedding day! She really is a make up god! My girls and mother in law could not stop talking about how amazing she was and how funny she made the day! All dolled up is the way to go! I first met these ladies at my bridesmaid's wedding in June - I knew that day I HAD to book them for my own wedding. We had Stef, Carly, and Jess working on hair and makeup at our wedding. These ladies are amazing! They are all such sweethearts I can't begin to thank you enough for everything. They listen to any changes you might request and work to make sure you are feeling absolutely perfect. Our makeup looked beautiful and blended so well with our different skin tones - truly you're miracle workers! There's no question about it, you need to book all dolled up!

I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. From the second I walked in for the trial I knew I was in good hands. I showed Tasha and Jen a photos of what I had in mind and they took from there and absolutely nailed it. The morning of my wedding I was calm because I trusted that they both understood what I was looking for- and they delivered again! My bridal party, as well as my mom and mother in law were also raving about their hair and makeup all night. Working with the ladies at All Dolled Up was so easy; I had nothing to worry about on my wedding day! I very rarely do anything more than concealer and mascara so I wanted to make sure I had a classic, simple makeup look that was fancy but still me. When it was time for a trial, it was so great to talk with Sherri and everyone was even super nice to my then fiancé when he came for the end. Trial makeup was beautiful for a nice date night one month before the wedding! On the big day, the team of two arrived perfectly on time to do makeup for four bridesmaids, the mother of the groom, and me. They were so fun while we were getting hair and makeup done: I would have used them for hair too if my friend were not providing the updos. Everyone looked gorgeous and our looks lasted from early afternoon when we were all done, straight through the night (and even to brunch the next morning!). Next time I am in need of professional makeup (e.g. in someone else's wedding!) I would absolutely make an appointment with All Dolled Up again!

All dolled up is amazing! From my engagement photo shoot to my trial to my wedding day they went above and beyond! Tasha is fabulous! She literally saved the day when my regular hair dresser left me and high and dry a month before my wedding! She even colored my hair extensions! Jen did an amazing job with my makeup and I literally have never felt that beautiful in my life! I can’t thank the ladies of all dolled up enough for for truly making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!

All Dolled Up did makeup for my wedding and I was so in love with it! Jen is amazing and my makeup lasted perfectly all night. She individualized everyone's look and made us cohesive at the same time. She even recommended a specific, universally-flattering lipstick for me to give my bridesmaids as a gift so they would all match.

I could not recommend All Dolled Up more. Jenn and Tash did an INCREDIBLE job on everyone in my bridal party. I looked exactly how I wanted to and then some (not to mention my hair and makeup stayed EXACTLY as they did it from 11 a.m. until the next morning!). They showed up right on time and were ready to have fun… not to mention they are perfectionists. If anyone wanted a tweak to their look, they were happy to do it. They even helped fixed the hair and makeup for one of my friends who wasn’t even in the wedding! I couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else to do my hair or makeup. They were amazing!

Jen and her crew are amazing. I got married in October 2018 and I can say that working with All Dolled Up was a breeze! From the moment I went in to her salon to inquire about my hair and makeup, to the big day everything ran smooth. Kelley is on top of her stuff and always followed up with me and sent me correspondence when requested. On the morning of my wedding, Jen and Carly were prompt and on time. They were extremely professional and made me feel like a Queen, seriously. Jen pampered my skin all morning and my hair and make up we’re to die for. I truly felt so beautiful on my wedding and I’m so happy I chose All Dolled Up!

Jen and Tash were amazing! I showed them photos for my bridal hair and makeup (sans trial) and they killed it! My bridal party thought I was crazy not doing a trial (I’m from out of state so the timing was hard) but EVERYONE was so so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out, even my very picky bridesmaid. My aunt, who was a hair dresser, was SO impressed that every single girl (including both mothers) had beautiful hair and makeup. Our hair and makeup lasted all throughout the night, even to the next morning. I would highly recommend All Dolled Up, so professional and fun to work with! I wish I lived in CT so I could use them all the time!

If you aren't using All Dolled Up for your beauty needs, that will be your number 1 mistake when planning your wedding. Jen & her dolls are a great team with top of the line work! I had two young ones getting their hair and make up done and Carly and Jen knew just how to handle them where they didn’t look too done up, but they still looked like princesses! I used All Dolled Up for my makeup for my wedding on 7/6/18. Jen is INCREDIBLE!! I met her when I first did my trial and I absolutely LOVED her. She cares so much about her clients and is one of the kindest people I have ever met. When she arrived the morning of my wedding I was genuinely so happy to see her, it felts like we had been friends for years. My girls and I were nervous about having our makeup done because we don't typically wear a lot and she did the most outstanding job. It was simple, elegant, and we all loved it. She also just gave general day of wedding advice and helped keep everyone calm. I would recommend All Dolled Up to anyone! I only hope I have another event soon so I can go back! I hired All Dolled Up to do my bridal party's hair and makeup on my wedding day and they were fantastic! They were so personable and fun to chit chat with for 5 hours while they glammed up my whole crew! My girls had said that they were moved because they've never seen their hair styled so beautifully before. My officiant had seriously asked my mom if she was my sister (!) because Stef and Nicole did such an amazing job on her makeup and hair, making her look and feel so young. I preferred a natural makeup look for my wedding day, and Stef did an incredible job. They truly listen to your vision and unique preferences so you feel beautiful on your big day. I also appreciate how down-to-earth they are; they were so great at keeping me calm during the hours leading up to the ceremony! Highly, highly recommend!

Nicole and some of the girls from All Dolled Up did the hair and makeup for my wedding. Everything was perfect from start to finish. I did all my trials with Nicole and she is amazing. She helped make my vision come true and helped give some advice about what would look best. She was so patient and helpful and I continue to go to her for cuts and color! All the girls arrived on time and we were even done a little early which gave us extra time for photos! I can't stress enough how amazing All Dolled Up and Nicole were for my wedding. You cannot go wrong with them!

I had them do my bridesmaids hair and everyone’s makeup for my wedding day! The day of at 12:15pm when pictures were for 3pm one of the girls told me Jen who was supposed to do my makeup and who I did my trial with won’t be coming because she is sick. Obviously things happen, but she knew in the morning and a courtesy phone call would have made the timing a little easier.. and a lot less stressful. She did send 2 other girls who did a good job but it was not what I expected with eye lashes and other things because Jen did it much different during the trial. More disappointed because she never called to apologize or make sure everything went ok.. had high hopes and I appreciate them sending someone else but not a group I would depend on. Tasha did an awesome job on everyone’s hair!

Jenn and Tasha worked on me and my girls and we all looked fabulous. Tasha can do any hairstyle imagined and can handle any type of hair and Jenn once you tell her what you want she works her magic. I wanted sexy and smoldering look for my wedding and got just that with a little more. Worth every penny.

All of the girls at All Dolled Up were absolutely AMAZING! Jenn, Tasha, Stef & Taryn all came to do make up and hair for our entire bridal party of 8 people at 11am and got our everyone done before 2:30. They were all so friendly and made the entire experience very fun! Everyone LOVED their hair and make-up including me! Couldn't have asked for a better team to make my day so special.

I had my wedding on July 1, 2016, and booked All Dolled Up as a recommendation from my wedding venue. Jen is very professional and takes all your thoughts and ideas into consideration, and she did a phenomenal job on the makeup for both myself and the wedding party! She assured me that despite opting for regular vs airbrush, our makeup would last through the night, and she was 100% right! Tash was our hair stylist who also did a great job. By the end of the night my curls had fallen out of my half updo, but she did such a great job in styling it that it didn't really matter- it still looked beautiful! (And that's what I get for asking for that type of style on an extremely hot and humid day!) They kept myself and the party calm and comfortable before the wedding, and on that fact alone they are worth every penny!

Jen and her staff are the bosses of beauty! They were so easy to work with, were very communicative and organized. To give these ladies 5 stars doesn't seem to do justice. They're not your average hair stylist, they're creative beauty machines and they work so well together as a team. The entire staff is great, and everyone looked amazing in my bridal party. Jen and Tasha...thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Jen was amazing. I know absolutely nothing about makeup. I basically just switch back and forth between two different colors of eye shadow. At the makeup trial, Jen took time to get to know me and see what not just my dress looked like (she wanted to know that too of course!) but what my personality was like. She nailed it. I loved that I still looked like me on the day of my wedding, just a more enhanced version. Furthermore, Jen was so easy to communicate with and work with. She came to the hotel room we were all in the morning of the hotel and accommodated doing makeup for 9 women. She made me feel at ease in the craziness before I got in my dress. At one moment I was starting to get very overwhelmed and nervous, and everyone else left the room to put on their bridesmaid dresses, and Jen just looked at me and started asking about my almost husband. It immediately put me at such ease. I can not wait until I have a super fancy party to go to so I can go visit her again. In the meantime, I would recommend her to everyone I know.

Amazing, dependable, friendly, easy-going, well-priced. I can't even begin to express how much I adore Jennifer! From the first time I met her for my trial/engagement session makeup she was so easy to talk to and worked to find balance between looks I liked and what she thought would look good with my skin, face shape and eye shape. She made she to stop and ask how I was liking my eye makeup before moving forward in case I didn't like something. For my wedding day she did myself, my mom, and 5 bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous and cohesive. Everyone looked great all throughout the day and evening! She is also super dependable! She was early for both my trial and wedding day. Also, she works efficiently without compromising quality. I would recommend her to anyone in the CT area in a heartbeat! I might even find excuses to have her do my makeup in the future. Bottom line: She does amazing work and makes everyone she works on look like the most beautiful versions of themselves.

Jen did a fantastic job! She did my makeup, both moms & one bridesmaid. She has truly mastered the art of making women look beautiful but still natural. I didn't even feel like I was wearing makeup, which is a huge deal for me. The makeup lasted through lots of happy tears, all day & night and well into the next morning. It didn't come off until I washed my face & used makeup remover. Not enough words exist to say how happy I am with her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
