icky" bride, I cared about the tiny details and overall cohesive vibe for our wedding since I had plenty of notes from the ones we'd been to over the years. While I had great ideas, it was hard to bring it all together, but Amy somehow delivered exactly what I was imagining and made me feel great about pulling the trigger on things. I felt like I would be rambling a bunch of different directions to her on things we liked and somehow she would finagle the right things to make it all work perfectly. Our wedding blended our style with the venue seamlessly and felt so unique to us as a couple - everyone loved it and commented on the decor. We felt like our wedding was such a dream and we honestly can't wait for the videographers to come through with our video so we can re-live it all again.

Having a fall backyard wedding was great but I struggled with knowing what we actually needed (ie: plate rentals, setting up, making the space work, etc). Amy had all of the answers–it was awesome! Our second wedding was in the summer and I had no idea how to make the rust color bridesmaids dresses work with a summer wedding. Amy was there to help us create a summer wedding color palette without having to get new bridesmaids dresses. She was respectful of our budget and only suggested details that would stay within our stated budget. On the day of the wedding, she was amazing. She and her team clearly knew what to do and had all of the details sorted out beforehand. We absolutely loved working with Amy. I tell all of my engaged friends now to hire a planner and specially, hire Amy and her team.

In a painful and confusing time not only for us, but also for our vendors and the world at large, Amy was there with up-to-date information, a listening ear, and a willingness to brainstorm ways to move through challenges with grace and optimism. Our rescheduled event in May 2021 was also canceled by our original venue last minute, and Amy was supportive of our choice to use as many of our original vendors as possible at a new venue at a vastly reduced micro-wedding size. These changes were surprisingly overwhelming on all fronts and required design updates that ultimately required the talented eye of and ability to execute quickly that only Amy (and her team) could pull off. Not only did her team go above and beyond what was detailed in our contract in support and design services -- the wedding itself was absolutely spectacular visually and was an exceptional experience for everyone involved. We didn't feel like our wedding was missing ANYTHING, even though it was so much smaller-- the adjustments that cultivated the intimacy of a micro group without sacrificing the vibes and "drama" of a larger wedding were everything. Amy and Ashley also brought (widely-noted) kind, positive, and fun energy into our experience which set the tone for the entire day! I could go on raving forever, but pictures speak louder than words. Book AITDD immediately and upgrade to design services -- you will be absolutely blown away.

From our very first meeting, she really understood the direction we wanted to go and had lot of beautiful and creative ideas. I am very much a planner and I found Amy to be extremely communicative and calming in the months and days leading up to the wedding and she was always offering her professional opinion based on her experience in the business when I was having trouble making decisions. She also offered her expertise on biggest bang for the buck, and helped me scale back a few items accordingly, when I was trying to stay within budget (which is always a tough challenge 😊 ) While the pre-wedding experience was amazing, I would have to say the highlight for me personally was how smoothly the actual day of the wedding went. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Many people I know who have gotten married warned us before the wedding that something always goes wrong and just to roll with the punches, but that was definitely not the case here… those people obviously didn’t have Amy and the All in the Detail Design team! We had an absolute blast and didn’t worry about a single thing on the day of, I was completely stress free. Even my mom, who is the party planner and hostess in the family and had a little trouble letting go in this process, was blown away by how the day unfolded and was able to let loose and really enjoy herself! We had many of our guests saying this was the most organized and beautiful wedding they had ever been to. If you want a patient, calming, creative and experienced planner that puts together stunning weddings… look no further! I cannot recommend Amy and her team highly enough.

It was incredibly reassuring to hear “it’s Ok, we’re all good!”- with that I could exhale and all my stresses vanished. Even more importantly- my mom got to enjoy the day as well. My mom is usually the planner of major events like this and it was important to me that she be given the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening as well. She worked so hard in the years and months prior doing the brunt of the planning (I am not a great planner- with a notable exception in my decision to hire Amy!). It was vitally important to me that my mom have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of her labor as well. I wanted her to enjoy the day as much as I did (I don’t know if that’s truly possible because it was frankly the best day of my life). I cannot fathom the burden of stress that Amy must have taken off of my mother’s shoulders, but I know by the smiles I’m seeing in the photos that she was relieved of them completely. Having Amy there and coordinating all the moving pieces of this 4D chess set meant that me AND my family got to enjoy the day fully. We got an opportunity to truly be present with family and friends that came to celebrate with us from far away places and we got to revel in each of those special moments that only come once in a lifetime. I am completely unaware of any hiccups throughout the day (if there were any!) and I am sure that was by design. It’s a Herculean effort to make a wedding look so flawless- and it was all done with grace and a smile.

Our wedding day was IMPECCABLE thanks to her detailed timeline, attention to detail and her genuine care for my Husband and I to have the most amazing day possible. She never let us go without a drink in hand, made sure we were fed and if anything did go wrong, we weren't aware of it. We had a slight hiccup with a speech going too long, cutting into some of our photos- but Amy was along side us reassuring us that the photos were amazing, which they totally are! After that moment, it was party time and we had the most fun we have ever had, not worrying about a single detail since Amy had it all covered. Our friends and family say it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and it wouldn't have been half that without Amy's help. I suffer from anxiety, and was dealing with a lot of hardships in my family life. She was so responsive and attentive. Amy made sure to take care of every little detail and hurdle (60% chance of rain in LA! , furniture becoming unavailable etc etc) that we came across. I couldn't have done it without her. If I wasn't a designer, I would've hired her full service. We communicated entirely by email and phone. When I finally met her in person she was so warm and comforting - it was like having another family member/girlfriend there by my side.

If anything went wrong, Amy took care of it and we did not notice. We gave her our decor, told her our vision and she and her assistants were able to execute it beautifully. My Dad was sick and weak but Amy (and our other vendors) were very thoughtful to make accommodations for him and make sure he was as comfortable as possible during the event. His presence at our wedding was the best wedding gift anyone could've given us and we are so thankful that Amy and our team of vendors helped make his experience better. We received a lot of compliments about our wedding- how beautiful everything was and how well executed. We are extremely thankful that Amy and our other vendors were on our team. We designed our vision, secured all of our vendors and removed most traditional factors/items of a wedding: bridesmaids, groomsmen, bouquet toss, father/daughter dance, garter toss, etc. Without these factors, Amy’s role as our wedding coordinator was simplified in a manner where she could really focus on the elements of the wedding that were most important to us making this day completely seamless. The common theme for Amy’s service is a lack of detail, an appearance of being distracted/unfocused, and promised elements that were late, mishandled, misplaced, or disregarded entirely. The success of the wedding is attributed to the fact that our other vendors performed as professionals, and that our close family and friends were on hand on the day to step in and takeover and check all details in spite of Amy’s failings. I am writing this review because I think it is important for other brides and grooms to know about our experience. 5 star reviews and beautiful pictures are absolutely misleading, as our own experience with Amy was an overall lack of communication and a complete denial of accountability. After our event, we corresponded with all of our vendors to thank them for an amazing job, and they described accounts of our wedding coordinator impeding their work, and not doing her own duties. Working in services myself, it is important to recognize your shortcomings and mistakes in order to grow, improve, and offer your customers a better experience. Today, Amy concluded her service with a partial refund, no response to our inquiries, and still has not taken responsibility for her actions/behavior.
