All Inclusive Weddings

I get stressed out easily, so planning my own wedding alone was overwhelming, even though my wedding was 10 months out. I ended up working with Linze, and we pushed up the wedding date with a little less than three months to prepare. I was initially nervous about using a travel agent / wedding planner, but it turned out to be a huge blessing, because it took away a lot of the stress and worry I was experiencing. A bride has so many things to worry about, so having someone else bear the brunt of the work and worry about the nitty-gritty details was a HUGE relief for me. Why spend hours analyzing vendors and reading reviews, when you can have a pro do it? If you want an intimate wedding, if you want to elope, or if you want a huge all-out, go-into-debt-for-years wedding, and if you're in the market for a wedding travel agent, Lia and Linze should be at the top of your list! The day of the wedding, everything was so beautiful, and so much better than I could have done on my own. Lia's company finds the best local vendors, so you know you'll get great value in your package, and what's nice is her company offers different packages for different budgets. We worked with and met AMAZING vendors! The reception was so elegant that as soon as I entered the reception, I felt amazement, joy, and relief because being the worrywart and control freak that I sometimes can be, it was hard for me to trust someone to somehow make everything perfect. Lia was able to give us the dream wedding we couldn't have done ourselves. Our family and friends were also amazed, and repeatedly told us how great the wedding, reception, and food were at the resort.

Ceremony- We opted to do a ceremony on the beach, I feel like it was the right choice because hello we’re in Aruba, but if you are sensitive to strangers in the background of your photos maybe opt for the garden. The garden is gorgeous and a little more private. Keep in mind that it is a public beach and even at 6pm there are stragglers! Reception- We did the pool bar area for some privacy (additional fee) It was excellent. We had 30 guests so 5 tables of 6, everything was gorgeous. Food- We had no diet restrictions so we did a sit-down dinner and verified with everyone ahead of time that steak would be the option, and our guests were fine with that. No additional fee for sit down private dinner if everyone orders the same thing. (Caesar salad, steak with veggie and potato, cake) I personally am an Italian from Long Island NY and food is my life, but it was great, no complaints from anyone! Drinks- Bartenders were great except for when one bartender told me to have some water and I laughed at him. Music/Photo- To the right of the tables was a dancefloor area and our DJ (on site) did an amazing job. We basically put together a list of must plays and he stuck to it. I can also send you that if you would like to peruse/ take. Used the on-site photo as well, no video. They were fine, but I would maybe do more research on outside companies. Also, maybe I just don’t photograph well lol. Wedding Coordinator-was awesome. Keep in mind that communication throughout is via email, so if you are a control freak like me, this may be the time you learn to let that shit go! We opted for no additional flower archways or centerpieces bc expensive, but our wedding coordinators literally stole them from the wedding the previous evening, so we got our archway and centerpieces for free! P.S if you got married at the RIU on August 18th, thanks a bunch! Hair/ Makeup- Hair done at the spa on site and boy did she deliver. She was a beautiful Dominican girl who listened to exactly what I wanted. Long waves with little braids throughout. However, kind of wish I listened to her when she said it is very windy maybe do an up do. I would recommend hair up, but I don’t love my hair up so if you opt for a down hairstyle, just know that the wind/ heat is a thing. Also did my makeup myself because I am alright at it (competition dancer my whole life), it came out great because I had a nice tan. Also, I got a full set of lash extensions prior so no stress on the lashes. Dress/ How to fly with the dress – My dress was medium sized, I double garment bagged it, and put in the overhead bin. Jetblue. I had a steamer with me but didn’t even use because it was fine. Guest list- Overall experience is hard to beat in paradise but I will say this. PLEASE be overly picky on who you invite as you are quite literally stuck on an island with these people and unlimited booze for the duration of your stay. Getting in touch with Lia was a whole new experience, she answered all my initial questions in that first phone call, had so many recommendations, and it was obvious she knew exactly what she was doing. By the time we hung up the first phone call, I had decided on a destination and venue (per Lia's suggestion). She was a God send! A year later, we are still having people talk about what a great trip it was and people are always amazed by what a great turn out we had. We ended up with about 60 people, all booking through Lia and everyone had a flawless experience. Most of our friends and family stayed 5 nights, so we were able to have an extended celebration with our loved ones! It was surreal being surrounded by our friends and family in such a picturesque venue. It was the most fun I’ve ever had at a wedding: the beach/pool in the morning, a beautiful ceremony, fun reception with amazing dj/LED dancefloor, fireworks to close the night, and then the club! It was the best day of our lives! Which venue did you select for your special day? We got married in the gazebo, and it was beautiful and dream-like! We liked that the gazebo was somewhat excluded from the rest of the hotel, so it felt very private. Not to mention, the view of the beach and ocean in the background was breathtaking! I also liked that it wasn’t on the sand, so I could wear high heels with my wedding dress. What was your favorite thing about your big day? Everything was perfect! The gazebo was the perfect setting for the ceremony and looked gorgeous with the flowers on the arch. The reception was so fun! The DJ was incredible, and the fireworks during the last song made the evening feel like a perfect dream. It was the icing on the cake—the perfect send off! Also, Maribel was so attentive and had everything set up exactly as we had discussed. I didn’t have to worry about a thing all day! Our favorite memory was watching our friends and family having so much fun dancing and enjoying themselves in the tropical environment while celebrating our marriage! She was so patient with us and spent so much time answering our questions and finalizing many details about all of our weekend events. The day bed and the bath tub on the balcony were great for relaxing. One day we came home, and the room host had drawn a bath with rose petals and set out champagne. We thought that was very romantic and gave us a moment of peace away from all the wedding festivities. Having the room host to contact was very helpful. All of our requests and questions were taken care of quickly! The room service was amazing and being able to use the Unico app made it so easy! Also, everyone was a big fan of the clothes steamer supplied in the room. It worked great for everyone’s wedding attire and multiple people purchased it once they returned home!

d I decided to have a destination wedding, we were not sure about anything - number of guests, length of stay, etc; we also have very demanding jobs, requiring constant travels up until the week before our wedding. So we thought that a travel agent may be a lifesaver; as it turned out, she was. Lia was endorsed as an expert in destination weddings on the American Express Travel website. Although she lived over a 1,000 miles away, I felt comfortable. As I am not a "girly" person, wedding planning was not my thing; however, party planning and event coordination are. Lia and I treated this "event" like a business and I loved that about her; I needed someone to be truthful and provide honest advice. As it is with my job, I like corresponding via emails because I can have all the information on hand and in writing at all time; Lia always accommodated that, and always very promptly. I'm not talking about several emails over a few months; I'm talking about over the course of over a year. Lia was there to provide support when I had a hard time reach the wedding coordinator; she was there when I freaked out at the resort regarding my brother's return transportation (as it turned out, my brother spoke with the wrong transportation company); she was organized to be able to provide me with spreadsheet of all guest arrival information; she always submitted my requests to Classic Vacation and the resort promptly. James and I cannot thank Lia enough to make everything go smoothly for the biggest event of our lives. All 48 of us had such a great time that we absolutely see another group vacation in the future.

Lia made sure that I enjoyed my wedding and didn't worry about the timeline, the logistics, managing a large crowd, decorating, or anything! She traveled with our group and made sure I always had a drink in my hand, and absolutely made sure I ate and had cake. She was on top of our timeline and hit every event, and I felt so relaxed knowing that Lia was keeping an eye on everything. country. Since no one could have predicted a global pandemic occurring, we did not purchase travel insurance. Thankfully, Linze and Lia were able to work with the hotel and issue a credit that was used to rebook the wedding and trip to another hotel in Jamaica, November 2020. As the time got closer to that travel date, certain states still maintained strict limitations on traveling and re-entry within those states, so it was decided that the wedding should be postponed again, to the same location, in June 2021. We could not have done this without Linze and Lia's help!! Everything ended up being a huge success
