All Occasions Catering/Bubbs BBQ

l problem we had, dealt with Vegetarian and Gluten Free options for our guests. Prior to the wedding, we were assured that we would receive individual meals for our gluten free and vegetarian guests. We supplied them with names and table numbers of the guest who needed these requests and were assured they would be hand delivered their special meals planned by the chef the week of the wedding. Unfortunately during the reception dinner, we noticed that these guest given to the caterers were not receiving these meals. The first 5 tables that had these special meals were directed to the buffet instead of the meal. I went back to the caterer room and address the issue. They apologized for the vegetarian mistake and quickly took those out to the directed guests. However the gluten free guests were told that many of the items on the buffet were "gluten free". I explained that the people who were getting the gluten free option picked this because they were allergic to gluten. Even if many items on the buffet were gluten free, the guests could not eat it due to cross contamination of the gluten from other items. This was the main reason for a specialized plate. The AOC employees had no solution to this problem and these guests were not able to eat dinner. However, with that being said (which is a big issue), the service overall was great, the food was fantastic, and we were very happy to have them serve our wedding.

So many compliments were received about the food and how it was some of the best they’ve had at a wedding. We also did the sliders for a late night snack - guests raved about those as well! They were very helpful with their dessert assistance, and their wait staff was great at filling waters and clearing plates. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely book with them again for future events.

Also, we ordered our linens and dinnerware from them as well, they came in the day before to get tables and everything set up. Overall, if you are looking for both an affordable and tasty dinner option that can provide decorative linens, we recommend Bubbs!

r your big day. They were attentive up to the day of and flexible as we were trying to work out last minute details with our venue. The food was INCREDIBLE. We got so many compliments on everything, but the brisket seemed to be the crowd's favorite. The only issue we had was that the bartenders provided for our wedding started off a bit slow. We had some specialty cocktails that they really had trouble figuring out, even though they had laminated recipes available to them behind the bar. They did improve greatly throughout the evening, but it would have been great to have them at the top of their game right off the bat, as the cocktail hour was what was most affected by this.

My reason for a 3 star, is because some of the food was bland. The quesadilla pie was bland and very dry as well as the rice. We also ran out of most of the food when we had 3-4 tables that didn't eat yet. This was disappointing since we were even under the number of expected guests for our reception that we shared with All Occasions beforehand.

Unfortunately BUBBS showed up and hour late. The wedding started right when they arrived and they set up shop while we were making our wows. When the food was served later the meat was dry and over cooked. It seems like it was grilled before hand and then brought out to our venue. Finally, we were disappointed with the staff. It seems like they wanted to be gone or maybe they were just understaffed. They were not very happy to be there. Luckily we had plenty to drink and lots of cake to make up for the disappointing meal.

at we envisioned and all of the courses turned out great! Using All Occasions was so convenient, as well, because they are a one-stop-shop for food, linen, table settings, and wedding planning. Wendi, our wedding coordinator, was so helpful throughout the planning process and especially the day of! She coordinated timing and deliveries with all of our vendors and made sure that the venue matched our vision for the night. Our day went off without a hitch thanks to her and the rest of the staff at All Occasions. We will definitely use All Occasions for any other catering needs we have in the future!

oo many runner-ups for catering, but the instant I spoke with All Occasions and had my tasting, I knew it had to be them. I understand the wedding industry can be a bit nutty - especially in the Summer or early fall.... it's easy to feel like just another number - this is certainly how some other vendors made me feel. With all my vendors, not only was my decision based on my perceived quality of their services but also how I personally connected with them.... All Occasions was so attentive and truly gave me the sense that they genuinely cared. And boy... my husband and I were impressed with the tasting! They decorated the space we walked into with a cute welcome sign and decorations - felt like we were walking into our own reception! And the food was SO good! My guests even made comments about how our wedding food did not taste like your traditional wedding food - it was well portioned and meats (chicken/beef) were not dry/overcooked! I am a little sad we couldn't try all the appetizers and desserts....but especially the late night nacho bar (UGH!!) I wanted that so badly.... but I lived vicariously through my guests who thoroughly enjoyed all of the food that was offered. The staff were all very professional as well - I couldn't be more thankful. As for Wendi and Andrea.... now, I would like to think my wedding wasn't too complicated but they did a tremendous job. They were in contact with me way in advance of my wedding.... we frequently exchanged emails and many times I probably bothered them more than they would have liked, but they were so patient with me and super responsive!! If you go with All Occasions, go with their coordinator package because Wendi and Andrea know their stuff!!! They were super sweet and super calm throughout it all.... my intentions for the wedding day were for me and my bridal party to feel as stress free as possible.... I can definitely say I was stress free because I knew I had a great team supporting me. I am so thankful for the entire All Occasions' team. EDIT: Also... I am so grateful for another two things... 1) I made the incorrect assumption that Bubb's didn't offer a vegan dish, and my DJ is vegan. So, we decided he'd bring his own meal with him...but to my delight, Wendi and team offered to whip him up a vegan meal on the spot!! 2) Wendi and Andrea knew that my husband and I couldn't eat dessert so they set aside a plate for us to have later... HOW THOUGHTFUL!!

My husband and I laugh now looking back at how we never once felt stressed during our wedding because we knew everything was taking care of. Can’t recommend this company enough!

Wendi works many weddings at our venue The Black Swan which made the process that much easier. Months before the wedding was even here, they had contacted all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Wendi and Andrea made our day so special, it allowed us to enjoy every minute of our wedding without having to worry about the big and small stuff. What they did for us was invaluable. They are also LGBTQ friendly! Thank you Wendi and Andrea for making our day AMAZING! Everyone has told us it was the best wedding they've been to!

because they were the most reasonably priced vendor around, but they really sold us during our tasting with how professional, timely, and yummy they were! We ended up even renting our table clothes, and champagne flutes from them. Which they set up and cleaned up after our wedding for us! Working with them was amazing and I would highly recommend.

We had a pig roast which they finished cooking at our outdoor wedding (how cool!) with chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and assorted hors d'oeuvres for our cocktail hour. They were very attentive to detail, and kept the lines moving which really helped keep the night flowing at a nice pace. They were also very quick to respond to any emails I wrote--I'm talking under an hour for a response! That is truly amazing and helped me keep my cool during the planning process. I am so glad I choose this company for my wedding. Everything from the first phone call to our tasting to our actual big day made me feel confidant in my decision in choosing them. I couldn’t wait for our wedding day - it was worth the wait! Our guests were absolutely thrilled. The late night “Bubbs Sliders” topped off the night - it was the perfect touch. I still have people asking me where those sandwiches were from. If I could, I would book Bubbs over and over again :)

And their FOOD!!!!! -- we selected the Pig Roast with Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, and a few other sides and things, and we received compliments from SO many of our guests… “This is by far the best dinner I’ve ever had at a wedding!” was one such comment I heard over and over. By far the best value for our money -- so happy with how it all turned out, and would highly recommend them!

Kids under 10 years old received plated kids meals, but one of my older nephews wasn't thrilled with the adult BBQ options, and one of the catering staff immediately brought him a kids meal without anyone even having to ask. They were always one step ahead and made the night run so smoothly! Jessica, Wendi, and the rest of the team there were so wonderful to work with. We can't say enough great things about them and highly recommend them for your event!

For dinner we choose the brisket and pulled pork and had mac and cheese, collard greens, coleslaw, potato salad and rolls as our sides. The food was DELICIOUS (the brisket is #1...highly recommended) and all of the guests were raving about the food and staff. I would definitely recommend hiring Bubbs as your caterer.

They were flexible and great with last minute changes, the coordinated everything with our tent rental (they partner with All Star) and it was so nice to have one point person for rentals and food. They also did our bar and did a fantastic job personalizing it to exactly our needs. The owner is friendly and down to earth too. This is a GREAT company and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Their prices are also very reasonable which is always nice!

With every wish and change she made, Jessica provided expert advice and acted in super fast timing! Later, we were setting up the hall the day before our wedding, and met the Bubb's/All Occasions staff there also setting up.. And they rocked! We loved these ladies!! One tended bar the next day at the wedding, and we got many compliments about how awesome our bar tenders were. We also got tremendous compliments on our food! My brother loves to smoke "q", and owning 5 smokers and smoking for parties, he said "Bubb's brisket was out of this world!". We agreed, loving the potatoes, green beans, pork, salad, mac and cheese, and beans too! Not to mention the very delicious passed hors d'oeuvres. It was many guests best wedding food!

Those that noticed ate, and those that didn't notice never knew anything was served. We went home with most of our cake. Other than that, I would recommend Bubb's to anyone. The pulled pork is phenomenal!

We chose a plated menu from the all occasions side for the rehearsal dinner for 23 people and the service was fantastic, plenty of staff. The food was good, not amazing, but everyone really enjoyed it, which is what matters. For the reception we chose to BBQ which everyone loved. BBQ is definitely their specialty and it shows! Never thought I'd find BBQ that good in Wisco. Despite some small, insignificant mixups for the reception, everything was very good and the service was excellent. The only thing I would do differently is have them use all real (glass and ceramic) place settings. The plastic cups for wine and beer weren't worth the savings. That being said, this caterer is by far the most affordable and we were amazed at the value. I would definitely work with the again.

Of course the BBQ was fantastic the brisket and pulled pork were so delicious, one of the flower girls is a picky eater and she couldn't get enough of the brisket!
