Billy Zee was great to work with. He is very responsive to any questions or concerns that we had about the big day. If you have any obscure requests for songs, he will be able to find them. If he has any questions about your song choices, he will email you for clarifications to make sure your day is perfect. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a fairly priced DJ who will go above and beyond.

Billy Zee was outstanding! He provided us with questionnaires to fill out regarding everything from our wedding party's names to what type of music we wanted for each part of the night. When I had some questions, he also gave us an hour-long phone consultation on what order of events he recommended as flowing best in his experience, music suggestions, etc. He called me the week before the wedding to confirm name pronunciation for every member of the wedding party. Billy Zee could not have been more on the ball, and his music selection was perfect all night. We told him we wanted "5/10" in terms of DJ interactiveness, and his level of involvement in the reception was just what we wanted. Keep an eye out--he often has a $100 discount listed on his web page or on The Knot or WeddingWire; ask about it if you don't see it! Overall, we recommend him in a heartbeat!

During and ever since the wedding (a year ago) we've had people comment on our playlist--whether it was a request for it, or talking about how well a medley created by DJ Billy Zee from our list of requested songs really worked. His methodology of getting to know us and our musical taste and letting us tell him what we absolutely wanted and didn't want, turned out perfectly. DJ Billy Zee did a really great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor (I heard a few people say "I was going to do X, but the music was too good to want to leave!) He made it very easy to coordinate with him for everything, including when we knew we wanted special photos to ensure that they weren't occurring at the same time as we wanted to be dancing, or that important photos wouldn't follow fast dances without a chance to cool off first. Especially helpful was the timetable he created, as we really had no clue, and the guidance was most appreciated!

Billy was great to work with. The DJ I originally was talking to was overbooked, so I found Billy about four months before the wedding. He was very informative on the phone and very friendly. I asked him if I was able to pick ALL of the songs for the wedding (I was very picky like that) and he said it was completely up to me. We then continued talking, which wasn't very necessary because he had an online portal that was very helpful. The best thing was our final meeting before the wedding. I brought my fiance, maid of honor and day of coordinator to the meeting with me so everyone was on the same page. Billy was very organized and made me feel confident in the overall plans of the day. We talked about timelines and he had very helpful suggestions and wrote everything down. We then planned out the different dance sets and he listened to the type of music we liked and made good suggestions for both the older and younger audience. Billy was on time the day of and set up for both our ceremony and reception. He emceed the reception and even came out before we were all introduced to make sure the names and order of the bridal party was correct. He also timed the reception well, and emceed for our anniversary dance. Overall an incredibly good experience!

DJ Billy Zee went above and beyond the call of his duties. He kept everything on schedule and moving through the night. Even reminding us to get on the dance floor when we were so busy with greeting guests, pictures etc. His online tool made it easy to pick our favorite songs and even pick songs we didn't want played. Would highly recommend DJ Billy Zee as he really knows how to keep everything on schedule and entertain a crowd.

DJ bill was fantastic! He was so helpful during the planning process and very responsive! When it came time for our reception he was very organized and got everyone into position. We got a lot of compliments from our guests, who were all on the dance floor! Highly recommended!

DJ Billy Zee was great to work with throughout the planning process and day of our event. He helped with great ideas for a wedding introduction video and monogram. He even helped design one! Before the wedding he made sure everything was planned well with the planning website, timeline and the phone call before the wedding. He even made recommendations for the reception time line based on his experience which was extremely helpful. For the ceremony music, he made sure he had the right interpretations for the classical pieces. During the event everything went well from our perspective and the guests were dancing most of the night. In fact , we were dancing most of the night. The bridal party introduction to the first dance transition was perfect. We highly recommend DJ Billy Zee. We had a pleasant impression with him at our first meeting a year before the wedding. It was clear to us that he had a passion for music and what he does! The planning process was really easy and he was quick to respond to our inquiries. He played a good mix of music even incorporating some alternatives. We will definitely use his services again for any other events in the future.

DJ Billy Zee was the best!!! We got married June 6, 2015 in Baltimore City and hired Bill as our DJ. Leading up to the wedding we used his fantastic online planner to organize the ceremony and choose songs, it was so efficient! The week before the wedding we had a phone call with Bill to finalize all of the details, and then the day of he knocked it out of the park!!! Bill played the perfect mix of songs for the mixed generations at the wedding and our guests were literally on the dance floor the entire time. Bill acted as the MC for the night and did a fantastic job keeping things on schedule. A lot of our guests have reached out to me to let me know how much FUN they had at the wedding and to comment on how great the DJ was. We selected DJ Billy Zee for our summer camp wedding. He his online portal was great and allowed us to do all the planning ahead of time and not wait until the last minute. It took less than a 20 minute phone call 2 weeks before to confirm everything. So on the day of everything was perfectly planned and timed. Our ceremony music was fantastic and I felt like a bride in a movie watching the men come in from afar and my girls walking then me coming down the isle. He kept the night going through cocktail hour and before our guests even finished dinner- there was a massive dance party on the floor, I mean what more can you ask for! To top it all off after our wedding DJ Billy posted a time lapse of our night which was fantastic. We highly recommend him to anyone planing their most important day! DJ Billy Zee is just awesome. Our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and danced the night away. He played everything we wanted and even saved the night with an extra garter when I could not find mine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

DJ Billy Zee was absolutely fantastic! Like many others have said, a DJ can definitely make or break a wedding and DJ Bill absolutely made ours. Our guests repeatedly said what a great DJ he was and people were dancing all night long. He is super responsive, flexible, and an absolute professional. My husband and I initially had our hearts set on a band, but after asking around and learning how astronomically expensive most bands are, we started to consider a DJ. I found DJ Bill very early in my search and am so grateful to have worked with him. He's incredibly responsive and professional and full of excellent suggestions and ideas. He made planning easy and was always flexible and agreement with our frequent schedule changes and last minute requests. On the day of our wedding- we did not miss having a band at all. He created a perfect mix of music from the few song suggestions we gave him and had everyone up and dancing all night. DJ Billy Zee did an AMAZING job as DJ/MC at our wedding! His on-line even planner was super easy to use and helpful. He answers e-mails within hours as well! DJ Bill met with my husband and I the week before the wedding to polish all of the details and make sure all names were pronounced correctly. He also helped me create a timeline for the entire reception via email, which was SOOO helpful! DJ Bill provided ceremony music and sound, cocktail hour music, and reception music/MC services. He was AMAZING and kept everything running smoothly all night. He had everything set up with lots of time to spare before the ceremony. From the reception intro song to the last dance we were dancing all night...no stop! He also played some salsa/merengue/bachata for my husband's family per our request and they loved the music selection and danced the night away! I truly believe that a DJ can make or break the reception, and I am so glad we went with DJ Billy Zee because it was the best party I had ever been to... and absolutely perfect! You will not be disappointed!

Billy DJ'd our wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in July 2013. We met with a few DJs before deciding who to go with, and Billy was by far the best fit for our personalities - clearly professional and on top of his game, but not stuffy or too flashy. Billy was easy to work with through the planning process, being totally flexible in adjusting our contract when we decided to have some musicians for our ceremony and asked him to bring a microphone and speaker for our officiant. He also brought the necessary set up for the groom to sing and play a song on guitar during the reception. Billy got some unique songs we needed for the father/daughter dance and for some Jewish folk dancing. Billy offered his advice and expertise in terms of scheduling out the order of events during the reception, but was perfectly flexible when our families wanted to do things a bit differently. He read the crowd well all night and kept things moving along and kept people dancing till the very end. I would happily recommend DJ Billy Zee to anyone for their events.

DJ Bill was wonderful at our wedding reception. We have received many compliments from our guests about the great variety of songs he played, the lighting he provided, and how he was able to keep people on the dance floor all night long. In addition to that, my husband and I loved the online planning form he provided prior to the event (even though we forgot about it until just a couple of weeks before the big day... oops!). We also loved that throughout the night, Bill was extremely attentive to our needs and requests, even going so far as to talk with the caterer when he noticed my husband and I hadn't been served yet while half of the guests had. Overall we were thrilled with Bill from the start of planning through the end of the reception!

Billy was the absolute best! When we first inquired about his services for our wedding, he got back to us very quickly and made the whole process very easy! He was very personable, he asked a lot of questions about my husband and I to get to know us better, and incorporated personal details about us into our reception! We chose a selection of music off of his website that we definitely wanted played at our reception, and he took those songs to get to know what kind of music we liked. He really helped to make our day extra special. He provided us will four wall lights to place around the dance floor and it made the room look amazing! DJ Bill was OUTSTANDING! We actually had another DJ but he was unable to work at our wedding since he was moving out of state. Fortunately, he recommended DJ Bill as a friend and professional colleague. DJ Bill not only respected the original contract and pricing I had made with the first DJ, but he also went above and beyond in answering my questions and offering really helpful suggestions for music choices and music timing. His online questionnaire and music selection are extremely helpful, and as an extremely organized person, I really appreciated how responsive he was with emails. He called a few days before the wedding to review all of the information, final music choices, do not play lists, and pronunciation of names for my bridal party. He dressed professionally, arrived early, provided the speaker and microphone for my ceremony, and helped run the reception with my wedding coordinator. He did a great job catering to the multiple generations that were at my wedding. People were dancing all night! I am so happy with how the wedding reception turned out, and DJ Bill definitely played a huge role!

Bill was awesome. From beginning to end he helped us set up our day and even worked with out other vendors to make sure that everything went perfectly. The day of the event, each vendor made last minute changes to their services (less tables than we thought, different wines available to the guests, transportation time changes etc) but not Billy. Not only did he get each and every thing right, I didn't even know he had arrived until the music started. Steady as a rock, and the crowd has a great time. I would recommend him again and again.

After my wedding, my husband and I were told by many people that it was the best they've ever attended. DJ Bill Ziemski played a huge role in making that happen. We knew at the first meeting that DJ Billy Zee was going to do a great job, but he exceeded all of our expectations at our reception. The cocktail hour was exactly what we wanted and set the tone we had planned for. Once the party really started, the dance floor stayed crowded for 4 straight hours. We had a large age range from 14-91 and he was able to play songs for everyone to keep them entertained and on the dance floor even my 91 year old grandmother who was dancing and that is saying a lot!!!! We utilized the wedding planner that he provided which allowed us to fill out everything online from which song we wanted for our first dance to the bouquet toss and last dance. He communicated with our other vendors so everyone had the same timeline to make sure everything would be perfect. DJ Billy Zee even called me and talked on the phone for a half hour so we could discuss details! We couldn't be happier with his energy, professionalism, and obvious pride in what he does. While wedding planning can be so stressful DJ Billy Zee made us feel at ease and choosing him to be our DJ could not have been a better decision.

I can only begin to tell everyone how truly amazing, talented, professional, and a "must have" DJ Bill is! He was our DJ at our wedding and the quality of his work and the skills he has will definitely surpass any expectations you have! When we met DJ Bill at our initial interview with him, we knew right away he really knew what he was doing. Even when we ran late with pictures, DJ Bill discreetly came up to my husband and I and suggested a perfect plan to get back on time and asked us if that would be ok! A true professional! His plan worked perfectly, no one even knew, and he still managed to play all of the songs we requested!! Right now in your planning in selecting a DJ I'm sure you're thinking about cost as well. Well, to top off the superior quality and professionalism DJ Bill will provide, he also provides his services at an extremely reasonable cost! We were so pleasantly surprised at what an amazing deal we got once we saw at our own wedding what an amazing job DJ Bill truly does! My friend used Billy as her wedding DJ. My now-husband and I were so impressed with him (and with our friend's experience) that we contacted Billy for our wedding. We were not disappointed! Billy personalized our cocktail hour and reception with songs hand-picked by us. (We loved the online planning form!) He continued to personalize the reception by playing songs dedicated to specific groups of guests. After the wedding, my friends said, "That was the best dance party that I've ever experienced at a reception!" Billy chose songs outside of our requests that kept the dance floor full, which is exactly what we wanted in our reception. Our wedding, January 7th, was amazing! We had some issues with our venue of choice but our wedding was still amazing because of DJ Bill! People were on the dance floor all night long. I am not sure some people ever sat down! We have had a ton of people tell us how great he was. From the lighting to the video and music the whole thing was spectacular. It was classy when it needed to be and fun when it needed to be! Hire bill. You won't regret it!!!!

My fiance and I both preferred to have a band play at our wedding, but when we looked into the costs, it just wasn't possible. My sister found DJ Billy Z on Wedding Wire and I called him that same day. Everyone in my family who has gotten married has had a band at their wedding, but after hearing DJ Billy Z and attending our wedding, they all said they would have picked him over their band! At the beginning he played one song after the next (no breaks) and got everyone dancing. He also asks how involved you want him to be on a scale of 1-10 and we picked 4. He really stuck to it! I was really nervous about having a DJ at our wedding because my heart was set on a band but he was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend him. Everyone's still talking about him!

Billy Z did an amazing job DJing my wedding. He kept guests on the dance floor the entire night and played a variety of music that everyone enjoyed. He followed our request and don't play list to the letter and was able to roll with the punches when we had to change some things up due to timing issues with other vendors. DJ Billy Zee is the best!!! He also happens to be my uncle, but dont stop reading!!! we picked him in spite of this–we originally asked him as a guest so he could enjoy himself rather than have to work at our wedding BUT after a lot of searching we couldnt find anyone with the same flexibility and ability to bring life to the party. He knew how to keep everyone dancing all night as well as maneuver from event to event so the guests didnt miss anything! He had impeccable timing on the music, great suggestions if we couldnt think of anything unique, and a very easy planning site online which shows what is most popularly requested as well as making the whole process very STRESS FREE. and every bride knows how important that is! :) dont pass up DJ Billy Zee!! We wanted to get someone who was going to get everyone dancing all night long & kept the party going and we found the perfect guy! He did everything we asked of him & more. His planning tool is a valuable resource & it lets him know his party planners better to add just the right kind of special touches. He even made us a picture slideshow/music video based on how I proposed to my wife. It added the perfect touch to a perfect night. I would recommend DJ Bill to anyone.
