one consultation on what order of events he recommended as flowing best in his experience, music suggestions, etc. He called me the week before the wedding to confirm name pronunciation for every member of the wedding party. Billy Zee could not have been more on the ball, and his music selection was perfect all night. We told him we wanted "5/10" in terms of DJ interactiveness, and his level of involvement in the reception was just what we wanted. Keep an eye out--he often has a $100 discount listed on his web page or on The Knot or WeddingWire; ask about it if you don't see it! Overall, we recommend him in a heartbeat!

y of getting to know us and our musical taste and letting us tell him what we absolutely wanted and didn't want, turned out perfectly. DJ Billy Zee did a really great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor (I heard a few people say "I was going to do X, but the music was too good to want to leave!) He made it very easy to coordinate with him for everything, including when we knew we wanted special photos to ensure that they weren't occurring at the same time as we wanted to be dancing, or that important photos wouldn't follow fast dances without a chance to cool off first. Especially helpful was the timetable he created, as we really had no clue, and the guidance was most appreciated!

The best thing was our final meeting before the wedding. I brought my fiance, maid of honor and day of coordinator to the meeting with me so everyone was on the same page. We then planned out the different dance sets and he listened to the type of music we liked and made good suggestions for both the older and younger audience. He emceed the reception and even came out before we were all introduced to make sure the names and order of the bridal party was correct. Billy was easy to work with through the planning process, being totally flexible in adjusting our contract when we decided to have some musicians for our ceremony and asked him to bring a microphone and speaker for our officiant. He also brought the necessary set up for the groom to sing and play a song on guitar during the reception. Billy got some unique songs we needed for the father/daughter dance and for some Jewish folk dancing. Billy offered his advice and expertise in terms of scheduling out the order of events during the reception, but was perfectly flexible when our families wanted to do things a bit differently. He read the crowd well all night and kept things moving along and kept people dancing till the very end.

we met DJ Bill at our initial interview with him, we knew right away he really knew what he was doing. As a former certified music teacher for Baltimore City schools, I am trained to plan. You will be sent an online planner to complete your wedding details and to create a song list. This information will be used to create your time line that will be reviewed before your wedding.
