Not only because she put me at ease but because she knows so much about the wedding industry, has classic good taste and is extremely patient! Sometimes I look at my engagement and wedding photos and can’t believe it’s me. They are so pretty and timeless...and so romantic but not cheesy. We had our wedding in a vintage 1900’s building and Libby’s style complimented the decor so well. I felt like a true Queen! She was also very easy to work with. It was such a crazy day and there were so many big personalities, it was so nice to have someone easy going and laid back to help keep me grounded. My husband is not a good picture taker, he gets nervous and just acts weird sometimes, but Libby put him right at ease and gave such good direction that he felt super comfortable in front of the camera, and looks great. Libby not only has a great eye for pretty things but she also has an amazing eye for capturing moments, or as the name implies, stories. Which we look back on for the rest of lives and smile at. Our pictures are my favorite part of the wedding and I’m so happy with choice in using Libby! She truly was my wedding soldier! Thanks Libby!

ibility to accurately express in words how grateful we are that Libby was our wedding photographer - and the word perfect keeps coming to mind. Our photos are perfect, and our entire experience from the planning stages through our wedding day was perfect. We don’t use words like perfect very often, but how else can you describe something that is as good as it can possibly be? When we were searching for our wedding photographer we viewed the work of TONS of photographers online listed on The Knot and Wedding Wire, but Libby’s photos really stood out from the rest and her style was exactly what we were looking for, and she quickly became the only option we were considering. Once we talked to Libby and confirmed she was available for our date it was the easiest decision of our wedding planning process to hire her for our wedding. Working with her during the planning process couldn’t have been better, she scouted the best areas for photos at our venue site visit months before the wedding, and it made the day of the wedding so much easier as we knew exactly where to go without wasting any time. She mailed us a very informative (and well made) guide months before the wedding, it was a big help. On the day of the wedding Libby met us at our hotel, immediately got to work documenting the “getting ready” stages, and literally worked tirelessly until the end of our reception at midnight. Libby was able to direct our photos and poses without ever making us uncomfortable or feel unnatural. We were both anxious during the start of the formal shots and she was a calming influence for both of us. She did a great job of dealing with our hard to control wedding party as well during the group shots. As for our wedding photos, we can’t stop looking at them, to the point where it’s becoming difficult to be productive as we’re constantly looking at them again and again. The photos are so well rounded: her detail work is phenomenal and one of the things that really drew us to her, but she’s equally skilled at capturing moments and the feelings we had. During the wedding ceremony it’s so hard to absorb everything as it feels like a dream sequence, but going through our ceremony photos brings back those same feelings and she captured everything we wanted to see. The formal portraits could not be better, and the reception shots from the announcements through the late night dancing are all incredible. We received so many photos, there’s nothing “missing”, literally everything we wanted to see photographed we received. To wrap it up, we’ve tried our best to explain how great our experience with Libby was but we haven’t come close to expressing how great our experience was. We truly feel lucky to have found her, and we are so thankful for her hard work and sharing her talent with us on our wedding day. I am Libby’s little brother, so I’ve seen her talent and passion for many years, but getting to work with her professionally was beyond a pleasure. We didn't want to have many pictures that seemed overly posed, and she managed to get some incredible candid photos as well as guide us into some casual poses that didn't feel overly posed. Libby managed to take this request and turn it into reality-the shots captured that relaxed - easy going quality while also drawing attention to the sentimentality of the occasion. No one looks posed, but, they look their best! I was drawn to her artistic abilities as well & had her also create a collage of sorts integrating a favorite poem - it's just lovely. I've recommended Libby to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Her "stuff' is gorgeous!
