All The Right Grooves is an experienced DJ and entertainment service operating out of Charlotte, NC. These experts have a healthy habit of creating energetic atmospheres and packing dancefloors. They firmly believe that finding the perfect music for each event can make the experience unforgettable.
Independent owners, Jill Phillips and Bethany McDonald established the company in 2003. When the pair are not booked for weddings they perform regularly as nightclub DJs. In 2010 the business was selected as one of North Carolina’s best DJ and entertainment services.
Jill and Bethany offer personal consultations to all potential clients. They use these meetings to gauge music preferences and establish genuine connections. They understand that planning a wedding can sometimes be a demanding experience, and therefore focus their services on being seamless and stress-free. The company upholds in a simple ‘classy but fun’ attitude when it comes to their approach and attire.
All The Right Grooves offers a professional MC service. They will make sure that your wedding sticks to schedule while also making important announcements throughout the event. Jill and Bethany bring all of their own high-quality equipment, along with back-up gear. The pair facilitate the setup and cleanup service in their own time, and at no extra cost.

r Zoom calls with Bethany, both were warm, welcoming, and easy to work with. That energy is honestly what sold us on booking them.
However, on the wedding day the music cut out mid-ceremony for about 15 seconds, which is probably the one thing you don't want to happen. We also had to ask for volume increases a few times during the prelude and cocktail hour. We also felt they were a little too laid back at times during the planning process given how important music is to a wedding day.
That said, cold sparks were added at the end of the night which was a genuinely fun touch that the we loved. The cold sparks are a must have!
Despite the hiccups the dance floor stayed full and everyone had a great time. Pleasant and easy to work with overall and we would recommend them.

The initial email for a quote came back with every questions we could possibly have already answered and that was enough for us to know this is who we wanted on our wedding day. After signing the contract they sent specific worksheets for us to get through and Jill was more than accommodating in the moths leading up to the wedding with a phone call to help ease my mind and answer lingering questions that had come up. Between the DJ and the vibes playlist that we opted into sending the music throughout the day was perfect. It was a mix of everything we wanted and crowed pleasers for everyone. Our special songs were cut just how we wanted them making it the perfect addition to the special specific moments in the day.
