We were excited after learning he spins vinyl, and after meeting with Nick we knew he would be great to work with for our wedding. Nick was professional and easy to communicate with from the start, and you can tell he has a passion for music and sharing it with others. His questionnaire really helped nail down our style of music and what we wanted for our ceremony and reception. He has a huge range of vinyl that can cover everyone’s tastes, plus the capability to play any requests he doesn’t have on vinyl. Nick did a fantastic job of reading the dance floor and keeping the party going, and so many of our guests commented on how cool it was to see him spinning vinyl. Our guests were out on the dance floor from the moment it opened until we shut it down. To top it all off, Nick literally saved me from a wardrobe malfunction. Before the ceremony, one of the straps on my dress broke, and he quickly went to his home close by to pick up a sewing kit for me so we could repair it. We all know weddings can be stressful, and his act of kindness gave me the peace of mind to thoroughly enjoy our wedding night. Nick takes care to ensure his clients are happy, and it shows in everything he does. We would 100% recommend DJ Spiraldive to anyone planning a wedding!

He has a great sense of feeling the dance floor and knowing when to change songs to accommodate the crowd. Moreover, the fact that he did all this using vinyl is truly extraordinary. He even allowed us to give him some 45s from our own collection to play at the wedding. But on the day of we equally enjoyed hearing what he came up with. His selections were fun surprises that also stayed entirely true to our vision. Numerous guests remarked to us that it was the best music they had ever heard at a wedding — and all the credit goes to Nick. The next time we throw a big party we’ll definitely be calling him, and you should too!

Great with communication, very helpful, had answers to questions we didn’t even know we had, professional, personable and extremely friendly. My guests went nuts for him, he was charming and entertaining and played perfect music all night long. He was early to set up, made sure it was all how we want it and was easygoing tending to the night. We are now making sure to get out anywhere we can when he is performing. Would recommend 100 times out of 100. Thank you Nick for making our night perfect.

We had a miscommunication with our band regarding procession music the week before the wedding, and with just one days notice we asked Spiral if he would be able to expand his services and DJ the processional music as well. He was more than happy to help, and the ceremony went off without a hitch. I know I can't quite verbalize that je ne sais quoi sound that resonates from vinyl, but holy moly does it make a difference. OK sound geek stuff aside, I certainly was able to cut the proverbial rug. The playlist was fluid and the only thing that got me to leave the dance floor was my very thirty year old stamina. And I really appreciated the local touch, like when the DJ bust out Big Frida. You're crazy, buddy! Because only a mad man would bring the house down like that. People lost their flippin' minds. That's the kinda party I want at my funeral. And that's how good Spiral Drive is. I'm cordially inviting him to spin my eulogy.

just a job for Spiraldrive. He went over every detail with me and it was obvious he wasn't satisfied until he felt he had a comprehensive understanding of the big picture. He took every measure to ensure my groom and I were at ease. He definitely understands weddings are STRESSFUL and made clear this would be one aspect of the show we'd not have to worry about. Great music, great attitude, he even smells nice too.

Dive was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was organized in his communication, continuously followed up with us regarding song requests and timelines and was prompt in his responses. At first, I was a little hesitant when I learned he only spun records, but that’s what ended up making our wedding music so unique, vintage and fresh.
