I've danced for a long time, and few dance instructors live up to Ann's level. She is honest, competent, teaches to every level, and the best part: she has a great sense of humor. The lessons with her fly by, and we are looking forward to continuing to dance with her.

We took private lessons leading up to our wedding for our first dance and we are so happy we went with All2Dance, it was one of the best pre-wedding investments we made in ourselves leading up to the wedding!
We weren't quite sure what dance we wanted to do for our first dance. At our first lesson we said as much, so Victor had us play some songs we were considering and within a few moments of starting each song, he was able to tell us what kind of dance(s) would be best suited to it and even did a little demo of what the dance would look like. We ultimately chose the waltz.
We worked primarily with Ann, but also took some lessons with both Victor and George. No matter which instructor you end up working with they are all incredibly talented instructors who are knowledgeable and passionate about dance. In fact I'd recommend spending at least one lesson with each as they bring their unique views and thoughts on the art of dance and offer different insights and approaches to improve your skills! In addition to lessons together, we each took individual lessons (me with George and my husband with Ann) to work on our specific skills/weaknesses (i.e. leader vs. follower (or in my case, breaking the habit of trying to lead when I should be following haha). I was initially skeptical of individual lessons, but they really improved our skills because by dancing with a pro it allowed us to just focus on our own issues. As a result, we began dancing much better as a couple.
All2Dance is a no-judgement zone! Ann was patient, kind, and understanding and didn't make me feel like I was rhythmically challenged. This was something I was really apprehensive about first going in; I felt like I had two left feet and was convinced that I was going to get laughed out of the studio! The complete opposite is true. Ann, Victor, and George are supportive and reassuring that you've got this!
We didn't tell anyone that we were taking lessons because we wanted everyone to be surprised. And boy were they surprised! Our first dance was amazing, so many people came up to us and said how graceful and beautiful we looked and wanted to know if it was choreographed (we were proud to say: "nope that was all us!"). We were even told that his grandmother was so touched by our dance that she cried!
A few general thoughts that I wish I'd known for all my brides out there! Dance lessons are a great break from the wedding stress, it helps you connect as a couple on a different level and helps you remember why you are getting married in the first place (hint it's not because of the floral arrangements)!!! With that said, get started early! I wish we had started closer to six months out instead of our 2 (ish). While we were lucky that we had schedules that allowed us to make up for lost time and come in for 2 or even 3 lessons per week, I cannot even begin to imagine how much more epic our dance would've been if we'd been dancing longer. Also, when you have so much going on in those last few months you don't want to be fretting about your dancing, you want to already have it in the bag! More generally, make sure you practice outside of lessons, that's where we really got the muscle memory! You're spending a lot of money for lessons, so you want to come in to each lesson ready to learn more and really fine-tune!
I highly recommend All2Dance! Private lessons may be expensive, but it's worth every penny and then some!

Victor was everything my husband and I could have wanted from a dance instructor. He listened to our song choice for our first dance and gave us options on what type of dance to do, explaining the pros and cons of each dance. Once we agreed on a dance style, he offered the right balance of criticism, advice, and encouragement over the six lessons that we took with him. Originally, we were only planning on doing three lessons, but after our first, we realized that we had a VERY long way to go, so we added three more lessons. After those lessons we felt prepared, and not all that nervous. When we, two awkward people barely capable of doing middle school slow dancing, danced in front of all our friends and family, they were impressed by how graceful we both looked. It was an unforgettable moment in our wedding, and Victor made it all possible.

Ann and Victor are incredible. We started with no previous ballroom dance experience. They took our two (and me, maybe even three) left feet, and turned us into confident dancers (even in front of complete strangers). Even more, they taught us how to communicate with the language of dance; the give and take of lead and follow as we move across the floor never failing to bring smiles to our faces. We, previously strangers to ballroom dancing, now love it; lessons and practice are highlights of our week (and a wonderful break from the sometimes intense wedding planning process). And just the other day, a complete stranger at our practice space said that he enjoined watching us dance, we were "smooth as a warm knife through butter." So, in short, we not only feel great dancing, others think we look great. And we'll be continuing with lessons after the honeymoon and plan to enter an amateur dance competition in our first year of marriage. Ann and Victor have given us a great gift, and we cannot thank them enough.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention two things: start early and take private lessons. First, the more time you have to learn, the less pressure you'll feel and the more fun you'll have. There is an incredible (in the most exciting way) amount to learn. If you have the time to master the basics, your dancing will be infinitely more dynamic. Second, I noticed that some of the other reviews mention "pushing" of private lessons. Ann and Victor are enthusiastic teachers who want only the best for their students. Private lessons are their vehicle for providing the best. Group lessons are a great introduction. But, it wasn't until we started our private lessons that we really started learning how to dance. I, perhaps even more than my fiancee, also benefited from solo lessons with Ann. Like anything worth doing, the devils are in the details, and working out the details of a confident, smooth lead takes focused, individualized teaching that is simply impossible without private lessons. I cannot recommend Ann and Victor enough, and anyone who takes the time for private lessons will be glad they did.

About a year before our wedding, my fiancé (now husband) and I decided to take a few group lessons. We were hoping to just pick up some moves by taking periodic group lessons so that we didn't look like fools during our first dance. But, we got hooked and decided to take private lessons. We had a private lesson with Ann once a week for almost 9 month before the wedding. Our first dance was so much fun, and everyone was impressed (we didn't tell anyone about the dance lessons). Ann, Victor, and George at All2Dance are very friendly and knowledgeable. They will teach you how to actually dance, and not just memorize some choreographed steps. They are flexible, and really listen to what you want to get out of the dance lessons. Even though we are finished with our first dance, we are continuing our dance lessons and can't wait to learn some new dance moves.

I think my weekly dance lessons helped keep my sane during the prep process! I loved working with them; it was so fun! Be aware that group lessons are largely a vehicle to push private lessons (but the private lessons are far superior and very worth it).

We started taking lessons with all2dance.com for fun a few years ago when my Fiance gave me some as gift. So naturally when we got engaged we choose them for our first dance prep. Recently we also asked them to do lessons with both of our parents for the Father daughter dance and the Mother son dance.
Ann and Victor are amazing. Not only have they made my fiance who was not very comfortable on the dance floor at first a great dancer, they also gave our parents a great experience. My mom has been trying to get my dad to learn how to dance for over 20 years and she was amazed that Ann was able to get him to lead a number of basics steps after a few hours of lessons.

Victor and Ann are not only superb dancers and fun people to be around, but they are also excellent teachers. My then-fiancé and I had originally booked only 3 private lessons with Victor to prepare us for our first dance. Neither of us knew how to dance, so we were dreading the first dance and planning to spend only the bare minimum amount of time alone on the dance floor before inviting our guests to join us. By the end of our lessons with All2Dance, however, we were seriously considering two solo dances so we could have plenty of time alone on the dance floor to show off our moves!
We had so much fun during our lessons and made such progress that we upgraded our private lesson package twice. Victor knew how to build our confidence and keep us interested with new dance moves. When the big day came, we were well prepared and had a blast – all thanks to Victor and Ann.
Victor and Ann truly go above and beyond to make their clients happy. As our wedding date approached, we were taking two to three private lessons a week, and they were extraordinarily flexible and worked with our schedules. The few times we had to reschedule our lesson, they were understanding and helpful. Ann even personally delivered to our wedding venue a pair of dance shoes my husband bought but couldn't pick up in time for the wedding.
In their private lessons, frequent group classes, and student parties, Victor and Ann are a delight to be around and learn from. We were 100% satisfied with every aspect of our experience with All2Dance.

Victor turned us from two people who could barely dance together into two people who were excited to dance together, were confidant in our dancing, and had a spectacular first dance to showcase. Victor is an excellent instructor and is very patient. We could not have been so prepared without him, and look forward to continuing lessons post-wedding. All2Dance is a must if you want your first dance to be more than swaying to the music.

I can't speak highly enough of our experience in working with Ann and Victor at All2Dance for our wedding dance. We only had five weeks to practice before our big day because of some unusual time constraints with my fiancee being overseas. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to get us in and dancing by working with our hectic schedule. It was such a treat to work with instructors that are also husband and wife as they can exude a unique passion and can share our sentiment in how special our first dance means to us. Most of all, we enjoyed how genuinely vested they were toward our success and comfort in performing our first dance. We were so pleased with their professionalism, and dynamic teaching style. Most of all, my husband and I found our dance practices and lessons took us to a very special and peaceful place amidst the stresses of wedding planning. It was what we looked forward to the most as our big day drew closer and closer, and gave us a chance to grow together, enjoy our progress, and share our accomplishment in making a beautiful moment that described our feelings through dance. I recommend ballroom lessons to any engaged couple, no matter what their skill level. Most of all, I recommend working with Victor and Ann at All2Dance for the best experience possible.

Anne and Victor at All2Dance are wonderful instructors. My husband and I wanted to do more than just sway for 2 minutes for our first dance, so we looked up dance lessons. All2Dance has the best price in the area.
The instructors are a little...quirky. But after just a couple of lessons we definitely warmed up to them. The only problem we encountered was that if we had to cancel a lesson and our next one wasn't already scheduled, it could be hard to reach them to get a lesson scheduled. We solved that by scheduling several weeks' lessons at a time and never leaving the studio without our two next lessons on the calendar.
All that aside, when it comes to actually learning to dance (which is why you're really doing this isn't it?) these guys are phenomenal! They don't teach you a choreographed dance that you have to worry about remembering. They taught my husband how to lead and me how to follow, which then makes learning any type of dance much easier. They then taught us the basic steps and built on that each week, teaching us new moves, how to get from one move to another, fun possible combinations, etc. So when it came time for our first dance we just danced and didn't have to worry about what steps go in what order. We had a blast!
The lessons were so much fun, in fact, that even four months after the wedding we're still taking lessons. If you really want to learn to dance and not have to take out a loan to do it, this is the place.

My husband and I went here for lessons (given to us by a friend). The instructor didn't show up for one of the lessons (blamed it on our getting the time wrong) and then wouldn't set up a final lesson until a few days later when "they would call us". They never called and we were so weirded out by them that we didn't mind. We ended up having two lessons (before the week they never called us), but it was a waste of time (except that it gave us something to talk about).
