I absolutely adore Mike and his work! We had such a fun time shooting our engagement photos and wedding day with Mike. He does exactly was he promises to do, is so friendly and ea...
sy to work with and will deliver an amazing album of photos. Our guests commented they they couldn’t believe how hard he worked on our wedding day, running around getting photos of everything. The GIFY booth was a huge hit too! We are so pleased with our pictures and look forward to working with Mike again! 💕❤️💕❤️
I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. Mike is who you want to photograph your wedding and boudoir shoot! He's done both for my wife and I. The boudoir shoot was scary for both of ...
us in the beginning. Mike made us both feel so comfortable, we had SO much fun, and the experience brought my wife and I closer together. Our wedding pictures are INCREDIBLE!! Neither of us cried the day of our wedding, but when we saw our slideshow of our wedding day that Mike had put together-- we both cried like babies! Every single person that I show our wedding pictures to say how amazing they are and how they feel like they were at the wedding too. Mike captured our day from beginning to end - the emotions, the love, the dancing, the fun... he captured people's fun and loving spirits in every single picture. I honestly can't thank you enough, Mike, for all of our beautiful pictures from both shoots... I'm sure they're not our last shoots with you either! Highly, highly recommend Mike for your photographer! ☆☆☆
We absolutely loved working with Mike. Throughout the entire experience we felt like rockstars. My husband and I are very different, I'm a lot more extroverted than he is, and Mike...
was able to put him at ease starting with our engagement photos all the way to the day of our wedding.
Mike is very responsive to any call or e-mail with questions I had and adapted easily to the changes of location throughout the day.
Wow, and Mike captured our day. I love his in the moment style when taking pictures and his ability to find all these great small moments through the entire day. He was able to do some traditional family shots with his great flair and also capture some of our favorite moments. For example, my dad and I did a first look that we "recreated" because my dad didn't like that he was holding something in his hand... priceless. There's even an adorable picture of my dog, who is a obsessed with me, waiting outside the door while I'm getting ready, and yes it's heart melting adorable. I have some gorgeous shots with my bridesmaids and Mike created/captures a BALLER-MAFIOSO photo of Rob with his groomsmen.
We did a whole photo reveal at his studio, which was awesome. 1. We got to see our wedding photos on a MASSIVE wall 2. Wedding photos in a few weeks 3. We got to see Mike's studio in person, which was cool.
We could not have picked a more easy, creative, caring photographer to join us and be part of our day!!! If there were more starts or bonus stars I would be adding them. I really can't say enough great things about Mike and how well he captured the energy and feel of our day.
We were very impressed by Mike's work since we had seen some photos he shot of our friends wedding so he was the first thing we booked after getting engaged and I am SO happy with ...
this decision!
Mike was wonderful through everything! Since we live in Michigan he would Skype with us so we could communicate without being in the same state. On the day of the wedding he did a great job covering all that was important to us and details that we may have missed through all the hecticness. His work speaks for it's self and I would recommend him to anyone looking for unique and high quality photo!
Mike made me famous!!!!!!
We hired mike for our engagement and wedding photos and the amount of utterly awesome photos we got from him were beyond expectations. He was very laid ...
back and easy to work with and fulfilled all of our requests and then some, the vibrant colors and great contrast in our pictures make every shot pop out at you. We recomend him to every person who even mentions pictures to us and he is the only person we would hire for pictures for now on
YES YES YES! Could not be happier with our selection of photographer! From the beginning to end Mike was extremely professional and thorough. My guests complimented me on how aweso...
me the photographer was, any time something awesome or exciting happened he was right there to capture it! With how huge our guest list and venue was (300+ people throughout an entire park) they thought there were extra photographers running around because he seemed to be in 3 places at once! Pictures came out absolutely AMAZING! But to be honest, just by looking at his previous work it was a no brainer to go with him!
Mike is absolutely the best photographer. My wife and I fell in love with his work when we had a studio session. He captures every moment you hope he will and then he goes beyond a...
nd it is so amazing. We knew our wedding photos were going to be spectacular. Mike did not miss. Family is very important to us and we had 6 children under the age of 9 in our wedding party. They were the hit of the wedding and Mike was able to bring that to every picture he took.
My advice to any couple looking for a wedding photographer - you need only to look to Mike Allebach, he is the best. Our photos are proof.
Mike photographed our wedding at the Connecticut Science Center. From the moment we first met with him he was friendly, down to earth and personable. He is very relaxed but very ...
professional and extremely skilled. Mike worked with our budget to create a personalized package and allowed us to change it last minute. He arrived to our venue early and scouted out the museum and surrounding areas to find the best locations to shoot. While our posed photos turned out beautiful, Mike specializes in catching candid moments, quick looks and raw emotions. When I say Mike was a ninja..I mean it. He was everywhere and yet nobody knew he was there all at once. When our pictures came back within the guaranteed 14 day window, we were amazed at the moments he captured when we didn't even know he was next to us. We recommend Allebach Photography any day and are so glad to have worked with Mike.
From the beginning, Mike was great to work with! He told us that we could include our two daughters in our engagement session at North Bowl, which was perfect! As soon as I saw the...
pictures from that, I was so anxious for our wedding to come because I knew that we would have AMAZING pictures to look back on of our dream wedding. Every time I see pictures from our wedding day, I get the same feeling I had on the actual day! Every single person that has seen our wedding pictures have all said the same thing...'your photographer really captured the happiness of the day for you two!' Hire Mike...I mean, you do have to look at these pictures for the rest of your life so why not make sure they're good ones!?
Mike is amazing, his work is insane! What a talent!!! Absolutely in love with all of our pictures from or wedding and engagement session. Highly recommend him!! He's really great a...
t making you feel comfortable and being yourself!
Mike Allebach is not your typical wedding photographer. I hired Mike because he's non-judgmental and actually wanted to shoot offbeat and strange weddings. When I got engaged a f...
riend of mine told me that her photographer made her turn the opposite way when posing for wedding pictures in order to hide her 2 inch by 2 inch tattoo on her shoulder. Her photographer told her to hide her tattoo because it looked tacky. I went into panic mode because I have a full sleeve and multiple other tattoos and I did NOT want a photographer who made me feel like that. Mike encouraged and embraced my quirkiness and made me feel comfortable and helped me conquer my fear of being the center of attention. He takes the time ahead of time to plan the important pictures and poses that are important to capture the day of the event - over S'mores! It was an amazing experience dealing with Allebach Photography and since then I used him for head shots for my site Clever Wedding Ideas - you can check out my wedding shot by Mike at www.cleverweddingideas.com/magic-gardens-wedding.html and see for yourself!
Hey guys! Last October 2013 I married the love of my life!! I'm someone who is a perfectionist and pays attention to detail.I am a salon owner and hair designer of 20 years.. And t...
he details are what make great work stand out! The other thing is HEART! You must love what you do!! It was obvious to us that Mike loves being a photographer! You can feel it in every GORGEOUS picture he snaps! He captured so many precious moments for me on our wedding day! I think my favorite was the pic of my husbands face when he first saw me.. It's priceless!! I've recommended mike to many of my clients and friends!! He truly is the best!
Allebach Photography was perfect. I couldn't have asked for better photos. All the important moments were captured and the most beautiful way I could have imagined. I can't stop lo...
oking at the photos!
Mike, his assistants, and his office ninjas, helped to make my wedding days special. Even though we live in another state from the business, Mike worked with our schedules for all...
aspects- engagement shoot, wedding, reception, and meet ups afterwards. We never felt pressured for time with him in anyway, which was glorious. Stylistically, the pictures came out wonderfully- everyone in the pictures looks happier and more beautiful then I remember them.
We had a two day affair, and the pictures from both days are incredible. It was also great that having Mike, and assistants, for both days, was an option. We were able to split out paid hours, with no up charges.
I think it's great that affordable packages come with wedding albums, which was frustrating when shopping for a photographer.
Mike genuinely cares able his clients, and that shows every step of the way, which is so important. We didn't feel like another name on a docket, which was wonderful.
The quality of Allebach Photography is above and beyond what I had hoped for. Will definitely be using them again for pictures as our family grows!

10/27/15...oops!
Mike did a great job with shooting our wedding. With Mike's excellent skills and good eye, we felt more at ease. We had a lot if fun and laughter which made the overall experience ...
much more enjoyable and relaxing. A job well done, indeed!

erish them forever. My husband hates pictures of himself and even he loves his photos from our wedding. I would recommend Allebach Photography to everyone!
Mike captured our wedding day beautifully. He isn't one of those creeper, uncomfortable photographers; although I'm sure he could be if, that's what you wanted. He will make your w...
edding day fun which is very much needed since you'll be spending 6-10 hours with him. Did I mention how awesome his photos look?
If you want an exceptional photographer to shoot your wedding, this is the guy. Mike Allebach really is as good as his pictures, as good as the reviews, and as good as his reputati...

Not only was he a pleasure to work with, he preserved our day in a way no one else could have. The pictures are simply beyond anything we could have hoped for.
Hire him. You won't regret it!
I've had the pleasure of being photographed by Mike Allebach twice. Each time, he's produced beautiful pictures full of life that truly capture the moment. He's artful, professiona...
l, and so much fun to work with. I highly recommend!
My cousin got married about a month before I got engaged and so I was at the beginning of wedding planning when her wedding pictures were first up on Facebook.
We went through h...
er pictures and LOVED so many of them and then thought, "You know, I don't even remember seeing the photographer at her wedding."
And that's when we knew Mike was the guy for our wedding.
Mike gets the most beautiful photos without ever being intrusive or pushy. Remember, you're going to spend your entire day with with your wedding photographer, so you better pick someone you get along with. Mike is kind and unassuming.
And best of all, he takes some of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen.
Excellent
Mike of Allebach Photography is awesome. He was easy to work with despite us planning our Philadelphia wedding from Los Angeles and was able to make time for an engagement session ...
when we were only in town for a week before our wedding. He listened to our few suggestions for photos and did a great job of building off them and making our photography sessions a fun and relaxed time. We were looking for someone who would allow us to goof off in front of the camera and provide more suggestions than direction. Mike also did a wonderful job of capturing candid moments during the reception without being an intrusive presence.
I would recommend Allebach Photography if you are looking or someone who has a very strong photojournalistic style and a great eye for candid shots.
I knew this was one of my most important decisions for the wedding, and wanted a photographer that had strong photos that told a story of a unique non traditional couple. I had no...
desire to have a picture of my shoes, my ring and shoes, putting the shoes on my feet. I wanted someone who was going to capture the tone I was setting for my guests and yet capture our personalities at their best. I could tell from our engagement shots that he was the photographer for us. Having him at the wedding was like having a good friend to hang out with for the day, and yes, he will be within proximity whenever you think to look for him.
On the talent side, he sees photos from a slightly different perspective which gives his photos a more unique feel and like he does not follow the same exact pattern many other photographers use. I also love the technical aspect of his light and color choices, which will give the photos a timeless quality instead of falling the current trend of soft light, soft focus, and a washed out quality. Mike's photos will pop out of the frame with the boldness in which he shoots.
On the business side of things, he is very responsive, easy to arrange things with, and is upfront about how he works, edits, and when your photos will be available. While I have to wait a few months, I am sure the wait is well worth the time.
Also do look at his page and think that if you do not have tattoos or a vintage look that he is not for you. I am a modern woman with no tattoos, but just really loved the quality of the photos.
From begining to end, this company was amazing...for engagement portraits, I had a crazy request, he did it , no problem. Kind of had awkward hours on wedding day, that wasnt a hug...
e issue either. Gave us a discount bc we booked right after engagemnet portraits...umm AWESOME! Mike(the photographer) is not your typical wedding photographer, not stuffy, timid, or judgemental. He the "tattooed bride guy", so that right there says it all. Willing to accomodate any kind of request. And the pictures speak for themselves. High end quality for a more affordalbe price. And believe me good photos are exspensive. Lets just say we have a professional photographer for life. Yeah, hes that good...
We loved working with Allebach photography for our wedding. They were fun, friendly, professional, and patient (especially when wrangling my huge family into one photo where everyo...
ne's face can be seen, which was the number one photo I wanted). They shot everything with style and a sense of humor, and the photos capture everything we worked so hard to make happen. Everyone who attended our wedding and/or has seen the photos has had only good things to say about the photographers. I can't recommend Allebach Photography highly enough. If you like the photos you see on their website, look no further.
Mike was great at both our wedding and engagement session. He was wonderful with our 4year old, and almost undetectable during our wedding. The results were stunning.
I cannot say enough great things about Allebach Photography. Mike was fun to work with, but also very professional. Our wedding photos are incredible!
Allebach photography is awesome! Communication was great, from the first email right up until the end of our reception! Mike is the best!
The unique approach to the photos he took. He has an artistic eye and likes to get one-of-a-kind shots with great details. But he's very flexible and accommodating with fulfillin...
